“Well, it is,” she said, kissing his cheek.
They spent the better part of the day moving their things from the main house and his room in the Guardians’ dorm. Well, Mary Grace didn’t move anything. She was ordered to stay at the house until Savage returned with their things. He made her delegate from her perch on the couch as to where the items were to be placed.
The pride females showed up with food, then left the two of them alone after telling Mary Grace that they loved the house. Nova and Liberty had smug expressions as they teased her about not even taking a peek during the construction.
“You didn’t even sneak away to check it out?” Savage asked after they left.
“Nope,” she smiled. “I told you, Savage. I trust you.”
“You are amazing,” he stated, taking a seat next to her on the overstuffed brown couch.
“No,” she replied, shaking her head. “I have always trusted you. Even before you touched me, I would’ve put my life in your hands.”
Her life had changed quickly, but she wouldn’t change one part of what had happened to her. This new life…it was hers, and she had a man who loved her, walking beside her as she adapted to her new world.
