He stood fast enough to startle her. Jaximor bent her over the controls. She felt his cock move on its own between her legs. The thick organ pressed against her wetness and then Jaximor's hard body closed over her. Meredith was still catching her breath.

  "When did they leave?"

  "What?"

"The colonists. When did they leave?"

Meredith groaned. She let her self droop over the controls.

Jaximor's cock started undulating between her thighs.

Her eyes widened. His dick's prehensile?

He dredged it against her slick opening, amplifying the exquisite throbs she still endured. The bulbous head nudged against her sensitized clit. He began thrusting in that position, mashing her sex with the heated tool.

His hands closed around her front to palm her breasts. Meredith closed her eyes. She was once again quivering beneath him.

  "Answer me."

He pinched both her nipples and gently rolled the tingling nubs between his thumb and forefinger.

  "Ungh."

Now her chest began to quaver. She could fathom the entirety of his gargantuan size between her legs. He would spread her wide and penetrate deep. She knew from her experience with toys that a throbbing cock that large would feel incredible. As he continued causing shocks of ticklish ecstasy on both her nipples and clit she braced her arms up on the controls and let her body go completely limp. There was such potent heat building inside her. She'd never responded to a man so viscerally. She parted her legs to show her readiness.

"Meredith." His sexy voice was right beside her ear. "Answer the question or I'm going to fuck you."

  He thinks that's a threat?

He attached his mouth to her neck. Meredith moaned. His hot mouth added even more sensual tingles to her enlivened flesh.

"Don't make me have our first time like this. As punishment, when we're adversaries."

She looked back to meet his eyes. "Will you shut up and fuck me."

His eyes flared with a dangerous gleam. He clutched her hips, perked his cock against the opening of her sex, and thrust in.

"Unngh!" Meredith craned back her neck. His incredible girth caused a rapturous throb inside her. Her g-spot buzzed under the intense pressure.

Jaximor started pumping. His huge organ filled every morsel of her. She had a delicious ache along with the ticklish purr he caused inside. This time she couldn't stop herself from moaning outright.

Jaximor clutched her breasts again. His pelvis jabbed his hot cock deep into her with furious beats.

"You wicked goddess!" His voice had gone guttural. Every thrust was punctuated with a desperate masculine grunt.

Meredith's face contorted. The pummeling to her sex brought her to the edge once again. A scant few more thrusts and she orgasmed a second time. Her legs clenched. Whimpering moans came out along with a shudder that wracked her whole body. Jaximor's cock was still stroking the potent heat inside her, making her clit and inner muscles spasm. The pleasure was so intense she sounded as though she wept.

Then she felt his cock contracting inside her. Jaximor closed over her back, lodging his organ as deep as her body would allow. He sounded like he was growling. His body quaked with fearsome power. After a few moments she felt his sperm dripping down her thighs.

Then he relaxed while gasping. Meredith was beyond relaxed--she felt like a puddle of goo. Jaximor closed his arms around her and kissed her nape.

  "We're...husband and wife now."

Meredith opened her eyes weakly. "We are?"

"Sex is the marriage ritual. You and I...we're bonded now. Are you...does that make you happy?"

Meredith forced her arms to work again. She rolled over, dislodging his cock as she did, and faced him in his arms. She gave him a sly smile.

  "I'm okay with it."

Jaximor's eyes continued to gleam. He pulled her into a passionate kiss. Meredith held him with both arms. Her naked breasts rubbed against his hard pectorals.

This kiss started turning urgent, with their tongues gliding against each other. She felt his cock snake up between her legs and parted her thighs. Jaximor pushed in and thrust while still kissing her. When he broke his mouth went to her breasts. He kissed each nipple while pounding into her.

"I can't get enough of you. This is what I'd been...umph...dreaming of."

His cock stretched her insides to the brink once again. Meredith couldn't help but have her arousal renewed. His massive girth battered her insides too exquisitely. She clung to him while gasping.

  "Keep doing that."

"You're perfect for me." He gave a hard kiss to her nipple.

Her eyes squeezed closed and she dug her nails into his shoulders. "Keep...going...!"

She suffered two more body-wracking orgasms before his seed overflowed out of her again. He finally pulled out and kissed her tenderly. His hands caressed her heated flesh without erotic intent. Meredith felt weak enough to sleep right on the controls. He cuddled with her so long she thought they might just do that, but then he gently pulled away.

  "I need to reactivate Princess."

  Meredith blinked sleepily at him.

"Would you return to the ship, please?"

She forced her shaky legs to hold her weight. They both dressed, stopping only once for a short kissing session. Then Meredith descended the stairs that led down the tower.

She still felt without strength once outside. Jaximor had fucked her so expertly she had a wobble to her gait. There were fluttery feelings swirling inside her. She more than liked him now, and knew he felt the same. No matter their current conflict, her marriage promised to be filled with passionate mind-blowing sex. She gave a wistful sigh.

Then she saw it: the navigation cone for a missile from The Shanghai was on the concrete of the landing area. She felt confused a moment. Then her heart raced in panic. This hadn't been there when they'd left the ship a few hours before.

She grabbed it and her fears were confirmed. The Shanghai had used an empty missile cone to send her an untraceable message. She darted a panicked look at the tower door. It was closed and she didn't hear Jaximor coming. She unscrewed the housing of the cone. A folded sheet of paper was inside.

The planet was uninhabitable. The water was poisonous. We have enough fuel to make it back, or we can fly halfway to 'Plan B' and hope a help beacon will get received before we starve to death. We've run out of other options. Is it safe to come back? If yes, send the password through an all channels beacon. If no, send the abort password. We'll wait two days to hear something.

Meredith's hands trembled. She crammed the letter into her bra. Their trash heap was a short distance behind the tower. Meredith buried the missile cone and then raced back to the ship.

She went inside, dropped onto a couch, and tried not to become overwhelmed.

Jaximor entered the ship while humming a happy tune. He shot Meredith a contented smile while he crossed the room to Pret-Dorno's door.

He tapped the console. "Unlock. Jaximor C-Jeda-Nine-Jeda-Hallo. Reinstate Pret-Dorno's voice commands."

  "Confirmed."

Jaximor sat on the couch and put his arm around her. She leaned against him. The warmth of his body comforted her. She put aside the harrowing message for now.

Pret-Dorno's door slid open. He slowly emerged and took his seat beside the churning miasma lava lamp thing before them. His dull expression had traces of concern Meredith could now discern easily.

"Sorry for locking you up," Jaximor said. "It had to be done. The mission is our top priority."

Pret-Dorno lowered his head. "Did he hurt you, Mistress?"

  "I'm fine, Pret."

  He peeked up. "Truly?"

"We performed the marriage ritual," Jaximor said.

"Oh, Master. Why couldn't you have waited a little longer?"

"It's fine, Pret, really," Meredith said. "You know a guy like Jaximor couldn't hold out."

"Indeed, Mistress. That's why I was meant to intervene."

"She's right for me, Pret." Jaximor kissed her cheek. "All your worries were for nothing."

  Meredith smiled.

"We have the location of the missing colonists, Master?"

Her smile erased. She felt Jaximor grow tense beside her.

  "No."

"Are we having lunch or dinner or something?" She avoided their eyes. "I'm still really hungry."

Pret-Dorno stood. "Of course. I'll see to it." He disappeared into the kitchen.

A heavy silence filled the air once he left. After several moments she felt Jaximor sigh beside her.

"Meredith, there's going to be a quick end to this tomorrow."

  She looked at him.

"It hurts me to continue fighting you about this. Sometimes it's best to have a moment of quick pain rather than draw out suffering." She heard him swallow. "Tomorrow I'm going to bring you back to the tower...and then leave you with Princess."

  Meredith's stomach tightened.

He touched her chin. "My goddess...can't we end this tonight? Where are they? Just tell me--I beg you."

She lowered her eyes. "Let me...think things over."

He kissed her forehead. "As you wish."

Pret-Dorno set up a sumptuous feast for them on the intimate kitchen table. He took his own meal to his room. Jaximor reached across the table to hold her hand as they ate.

"I'm at a loss for words. You've made me so happy. I feel I'll never be alone again."

Meredith had the warm flutters in her belly renew. "Where do we go after this? I mean, when we're done here?"

"I'm accustomed to seeing to solitary missions in this vessel. If a mission is too dangerous I'll leave you at my home on planet Den. It's a much grander place than this humble ship. I think you'll be pleased."

"Are there other women on planet Den? I mean, humans?"

"A few. When there's time I'll be sure to introduce you. And I'll teach you to fly a car. You can see to whatever errands are needed for our household."

"Sounds like I'm going to be a housewife."

Jaximor gave her a meaningful look. "Does that distress you?"

She smiled. "No." She lifted her nose. "I was always meant to be a lady of leisure."

Jaximor laughed through his nostrils. "Planet Den is where our children will be raised. I'd like you to be close to them--involved with their upbringing."

  "Of course."

"You're going to be having 24 children a year."

  Meredith lowered her utensil slowly.

"Your ovulation will be speeded up to double, and each time you become pregnant the zygote will be removed from your body to be artificially gestated."

Her mouth dropped open. "Excuse me?"

"That's the only way we can repopulate the Dak-Hiliah in a reasonable amount of time. Planet Den is a fostering world. Our children will be cared for in one of the finest nurseries. Then they'll proceed to the military schools. All throughout their upbringing I expect you'll be actively involved. The nursery is close to our home."

"What the Hell are you talking about? Are you serious?"

He rubbed his thumb over her hand. "That's simply the way it must be, Meredith."

She withdrew her hand and leaned back in her chair. "Oh my God."

  Jaximor stopped eating.

"This is a hell of a shock, Jaximor."

"You know I don't prefer it this way. I wished for a son and a daughter who we'd rear in person the way my ancestors did. It's no longer a possibility. We're too close to extinction. Every viable egg in your body must be used to grant a Dak-Hiliah/human hybrid life."

"How can I make sure so many kids are well taken care of? I mean--how am I even going to get to know that many children?"

He smiled. "You'd be surprised. Other human wives have connected to their brood in beautiful, meaningful ways. They can guide you in this. Alleviate your concerns."

She rubbed her hand over her face. "Geez."

"Meredith..." He swallowed. "You will try, won't you?"

She gaped at him. "Try? I'm not going to try. I'm going to love the hell out of my babies. I don't care if there's one or one thousand. They're mine and I'm going to be the best mommy your planet has ever seen."

A warm smile crossed Jaximor's lips.

She dug into her food again. "Psh. So much for being a lady of leisure."

  "I love you, Meredith."

She looked at him. The warm smile was still on his face, along with a tender glimmer in his eyes. Meredith lifted her glass of peanut butter milk to him in a toast.

  "I'm getting there, Jaximor."

He gave a wounded scoff. Meredith laughed.

After dinner he showed her his bedroom, where they'd now be sleeping together. It was only slightly larger than Pret-Dorno's, but the extra space was engulfed by the much larger bed. He had cabinet covered walls, the same as Pret-Dorno, but one wall was covered in Dak-Hiliah crosses of valor. He pointed out a few of the more impressive ones to her with pride.

Jaximor opened a drawer and took out a striped staff and some strips of stretchy rubber.

"I'm going outside to practice my martial art. Why don't you get Pret to amuse you for a while?"

Meredith sat on his bed. "Actually, I'd like to be alone for a while." She swallowed while avoiding his gaze. "To think about things."

"Understood." He bowed and then left through the sliding door.

Before she let her thoughts consume her, she knew she needed a shower. She pestered Pret-Dorno for some fresh clothes, and then sealed herself into Jaximor's bathroom.

After she cleansed herself she stood under the hot stream of water a long while. Thoughts were being elusive. She knew the reason why. It was time to give in to Jaximor. Princess was going to do horrible things to her tomorrow. That thought alone made her sick inside. But even worse than that was fighting against Jaximor. She didn't want to continue hurting him. She ached for them to have a clean slate.

She finally emerged from the bathroom in a fresh nightgown. The letter from the escaped colonists was in her hand. She sat on Jaximor's bed and read it over again.

They were desperate. They needed help. The Dak-Hiliah would help them--even if it meant they had to become slaves or forced brides. Was it worth the risk of starvation just to avoid that?

Before their leader and his group had left they'd all put it to a vote. Would they starve or surrender? She'd voted for surrender, but they'd all worried for their poor men. The myth of the Dak-Hiliah castrating them was ingrained in their psyches. For a lot of their men, and those men's families, this was worse than starving to death. That's why their leader Chun Dai had pooled all their fuel into their most functional ship and gotten a flight plan to the nearest inhabitable world. They would make a new settlement and hope the Dak-Hiliah never found them.

All the men had wanted to go with them. Meredith remembered how their meetings went. Men were saying that they didn't mind being slaves--at least they didn’t think they would mind--but the thought of castration was abhorrent. They couldn't wrap their heads around something so terrible. Most didn't even want to try, even if the alternative was death. They'd all had cushy lives in the colony. No one had the stomach for something so horrifying.

The Shanghai didn't have the space or the weight capacity to take even a fourth of the men. They'd ended up having a lottery. The men who won got a seat on the Shanghai along with their families. The rest of the guys, like Smitty, just had to accept the Dak-Hiliah's brutality. They all knew the women were going to be taken as brides. That didn't sound too bad when the alternative was the slow horrible death of starvation. The men had to make the ultimate sacrifice for the sake of the women.

  But they were wrong.

Meredith believed Jaximor when he said they didn't castrate the men. The fact that they were rebuilding the human population in the slave colony proved this. They'd been making decisions based on false information.

Would the Shanghai even have left if they'd known the truth?

  Beside
s avoiding castration there was the secondary goal of maintaining a human colony free from Dak-Hiliah rule. That was what Europa was supposed to be before their food systems failed. Riley spoke about the Shanghai being the last hope for humanity. If they had been able to settle on that new world they might have been just that.

But they failed. And they weren't able to make it to another suitable planet.

The letter said they could either come back or try Plan B. Plan B was limping halfway to the space of Earth's old ally, the Aquars. They might help them get set up somewhere new--or they might not. They were too scared of the Aquars betraying them to the Dak-Hiliah to communicate with them beforehand. It was a gamble. A gamble to even make it to their old allies, and a gamble that they would even help them.

  They have to come back.

There's just no other answer that made sense. She had to betray them to the Dak-Hiliah. Wouldn't they understand that? Wouldn't they be relieved when they saw things were nowhere near as bad as they thought?

Jaximor entered the room. He was dabbing the sweat from his brow with a towel. Meredith sat slumped on the side of his bed cradling the note in both hands. She made no attempt to hide it. She looked up at her husband and began to cry.

Jaximor took the note from her. His eyes scanned the English text she knew he couldn't read. He drew a long sigh and then sat beside her. His hand soothed her quaking back.

  "What is it, Meredith?"

She snuffled. "A message...sent in the navigation cone of a missile from the Shanghai. It was...outside. On the ground."

Jaximor's voice remained level. "What does it say?"

Meredith dabbed her tears on her sleeve. She swallowed down a thick lump of emotion, and translated the letter, word for word.

Silence lingered after she finished reading it. Jaximor kept his arm lightly around her while staring straight ahead.

"You're sad because they didn't make it?"

She hiccupped with a new sob. "No. I'm sad because I have to give them up to you now--and I don't know if I'm just betraying my own people."

Jaximor looked at her. "I can explain to you why this is not a betrayal."

She scowled. "I'm sure you can."

"No, Meredith. Not just by my interpretation. Consider this with me. These people left knowing that you were sending out a distress beacon that would alert the Dak-Hiliah to the existence of your colony."
