Backstage Indecency

He knew Helen’s favourite position to screw in was with her legs over his shoulders, so once he had her begging him to fuck her – he arranged her flexible body, so she was ready to take his throbbing, hard cock in the way she liked best. As he pushed himself deep into her soaking, wet cunt and started thrusting, he was unable to keep himself from becoming a little bit rougher with her, because he knew she loved it.
As Jack leaned forward and forced her bent legs down towards her torso, Helen was so supple she suffered no discomfort as he bit her breasts and kissed her. In response she wound her arms around his shoulders and began uncontrollably scratching his back, as she thrust her hips up in time with the forceful, jabbing of his cock. Jack kept it going for as long as he could, but when he was unable to hold his climax back any longer, ejaculated his hot cum inside her. However, Helen was able to instinctively keep time with him, so they came in unison. Finally, they collapsed into a sticky patch on the bed sheet as she hoped the moisture she could feel on his back was sweat - not blood!
She woke in the morning to find Jack gone. Puzzled, she got up and looked for him, and found him in the bathroom ruefully examining the scratch marks she’d made on his back - and was glad to see that the wounds were superficial. When he handed her, a nail buffer and ordered her to file back her nails, she willingly did so without the usual arguments.
Chapter Fourteen
As they ate breakfast, all Helen could think about was whether she would still get the surprise that Jack had mentioned and what it might be. In the end, she couldn’t stand it any longer and asked what he had in mind.
“Well I was pleased with your conduct at the party so I’m going to tell what I have planned. When you hear what it is, you will know this would have happened anyway – I was winding you up! I’ve been talking to a few contacts, and I’m hoping to get you a slot on ‘Later’ on BBC2 at some point in the future. That music show and Jools Holland have a lot of credibility in the business so if I can pull this off, hopefully you should be on your way.”
“I thought bands had to be more well known that we are? No one outside of London has ever heard of us have they?” Helen said with a worried look on her face.
“It doesn’t matter. Not every group that’s gone on that show is signed to a record label. It’s how good they are that counts, and whether they can promote themselves well enough to impress the producers. There are pluggers which can pitch an artist to them for a price, but I have the contacts, so I don’t need those people.”
Helen was so ecstatic she nearly knocked Jack over as she went to hug him. “There’s only one condition to this. If I’m successful in getting you on the show, you perform one of my compositions. Hopefully, you will get three slots, but if you only get two, you can do one of your compositions and one of mine. You can’t say fairer than that can you?”
Although Helen would have done anything, he said to get on the show, she also knew that Jack had worked hard to try to make it as a musician himself, so she readily agreed although she still didn’t think his stuff was right for the band. “Can I phone the guys?” was her next question.
“Yes, but bear in mind, I’m not promising. I’ve sent the producers your EPs and some promotional material, with a list of your upcoming gigs and asked them to come along to see you. I may not know in advance which one they plan to attend, so it’s all up to you now. You need to play like you’ve never played before, every time, in case they show up. And I will say again, you’re not some modern day Goth, so try and tone down the panda eyes.” Jack knew he was fighting a losing battle on this subject, and wished there was something he could do or say to get Helen to see sense about her appearance.
However, he was determined that The Curves play one of his songs in their set, if they got on ‘Later.’ Once they had perfected their performance of some of his compositions, they started throwing them in with their own at gigs, with positive feedback from the audiences.
They were in the middle of recording their first full album when another of Jack’s signed bands got on the Saturday billing of a rock weekender. The Curves were ecstatic to be also billed as a support band on the same day and hoped that this might be the event that someone from ‘Later’ might attend. As they all got ready backstage, they met the other band for the first time. When Helen saw how the tall, blonde female guitarist from The Red Hot Racers behaved around Jack, she knew immediately with sickening certainty that he had history with her, although he’d never told her about it. Although in her own way she'd started to care for and trust him, for the first time she burned with envy at the thought of him with anyone else. Every time the woman went near him, she wanted to slap her face.
The Curves’ performance was dynamite largely due to the emotions that had been stirred up in Helen. By this time, she’d found out the other woman’s name was Annette and visions of Jack’s cock in her mouth danced in front of her eyes as she sang. As she snarled the lyrics of one of Jack’s tracks in a way he’d never intended it to be performed the crowd loved it, but for once in her life, she didn’t feel turned on. She was sick with jealousy.
“What is it? What’s gone wrong?” Jack asked her, as the band came off. Helen was unable to tell him and stood miserably watching as The Red Hot Racers took the stage. However, it wasn’t until they were at the after-show party that things finally came to a head.
Chapter Fifteen
There was a lot of alcohol on offer, with some other more dubious substances which many of the party guests accepted with great enthusiasm. Helen was no exception, so she started whizzing pretty quickly.
When she saw Annette place her hand on Jack’s arm when they were talking, Helen’s rage increased to boiling point, as she wondered what the story was between them. She asked him, as soon as she got the opportunity.
Not attempting to deny anything he replied, “Yes I slept with her and what of it? She’s just the same as you; she wanted something I could give her and her band. However, I’ve never been that interested in her, so it only happened a few times. It just drifted off, and I don’t think either of us really cared.”
“It doesn’t look that way to me; she's all over you like a rash, when did this happen? I think she still fancies you,” Helen sulkily muttered.
“Oh grow up,” Jack whispered before taking her arm as they walked to the bar.
“I asked you when this happened. Don’t evade the question.”
“Around six months ago, I think.”
Helen calculated the time lapse in her mind, and realised that he’d slept with Annette not long before they met. Then as she thought about it, she suddenly remembered the delay in Jack calling her after she’d gone home with him the first time. She felt ill as she speculated whether there had been any overlap in the two relationships, and the thought there might have, made her want to throw up.
As the party went on, she tried to put the subject out of her mind and circulated remembering that someone from ‘Later’ might be at the party. It was as she was speaking to some men in another band, that she saw Annette chatting to Jack again – and Helen didn’t like her body language. Rage bubbled up and engulfed her as she saw the way Jack was talking to her tits. Without thinking about it, she went over and stood by his side and joined in the conversation.
It was when Jack said he was going to the bar for some drinks, that Helen had a chance to talk to Annette alone. She decided not to mess around and came straight to the point saying, “Just to let you know, Jack and I are an item and have been for a while. I know you’ve been with him too, but he is definitely with me and only me now, and it is going to last.”
Annette’s response was to roll her eyes and grin before replying, “I think he’s been with everyone. Don’t get the idea it will be long term with him. He was still fucking me when he started seeing you. You’re just the latest lay on his conveyor belt shuffle of girls in bands.”
“I know he was still fucking you when he started seeing me,” Helen lied. “He told me that y
ou were damn lousy in the sack too. I hear you don’t give very good head do you?”
As Annette gave a contemptuous fake yawn and turned away to go, Helen saw the opportunity to really put the boot in. Like all Americans, she had dentist perfected teeth, and noticed immediately that the view into Annette’s mouth was not so pretty. “God your teeth are disgusting too; I'm not surprised blow jobs aren’t your best trick. I don’t know how any guy could stand to put his cock in your mouth!”
When she turned back to face Helen, she showed her disdain of her by making one brief, devastating, comment that caused their confrontation to escalate into violence.
“I’d rather have a real smile, than the fake, scary ones that fake ugly Americans like you have!”
Then as she turned to go, Helen pulled her back by grabbing her arm, and slapped her face as hard as she could. Annette had the sense to try to walk away for a second time and shouted to someone standing nearby to call security, which enraged her even more. As Helen grabbed the other woman’s arm to stop her leaving, she was forced to lash out in self-defence, before the pair began scratching, biting and yanking each other’s hair. By the time three security men had arrived and separated the screaming, swearing women, blood was running down over Annette’s chin from the split lip Helen had given her.
“Okay I’m taking this fucking bitch home, she’s had way too much. I’m really sorry about this Annette. Are you OK? I’ll call you tomorrow morning,” Jack said as the astonished audience watched him grab Helen’s arm, and forcibly lead her off.
As they sat in their cab, Jack sat in complete silence, and wouldn’t respond to Helen’s sobbed apologies. When they got back to the house, she followed him to his bedroom without being told to, trembling with fear at the thought of the punishment she was in for. However, instead of the spanking she was expecting, he simply left her to undress herself and sleep off the night’s excesses.
Chapter Sixteen
When Helen woke up late the next morning, she felt as if she wanted to die. Her mouth tasted as if a rat had died in it. As she crept to the bathroom to brush her teeth, she could hear Jack speaking on the phone downstairs. She heard him mention her name, and stood silently on the landing to try to listen to his side of the conversation, and quickly became aware that things weren’t good.
“I know you’re awake, get down here now you bitch,” Jack shouted as he hung up.
As she complied, Helen was more scared that she’d ever been before. When she entered the living room, she saw him sitting on the couch – as he looked at her, he was totally unsmiling.
“I’ve got some good news and some bad news. Which do you want first?”
Helen shrugged and waited.
“Alright the good news is I don’t think anyone from ‘Later’ was there last night to witness your disgusting behaviour. The bad news is Annette has just told me she’s going to report you to the police for assault.”
As Helen tried to interrupt him, he stopped her. “Shut up! You initiated that cat fight last night; anything Annette did was to protect herself from getting hurt by you. There was a room of witnesses to that incident. You don’t stand a chance of getting off, if this goes all the way.”
“If this goes all the way?” Helen asked as a cold feeling of terror gripped her.
“I mean if the case goes to court. You could get a prison sentence for that bag of shit, or you might just get a fine. That depends upon the judge. However, let me tell you, you will certainly end up with a criminal record for assault. I suggest you try to avoid it going that far, by apologising as soon as possible.”
“Fuck you, no way am I apologising to that skank.”
“Then I can’t help you, and I won’t pay your fine, if she goes to the police and this gets in front of a judge. Annette has witnesses and don’t think the rest of your band can lie for you to get you off this. There were over a hundred people at that party.”
Helen finally saw she’d no choice but to agree, so she got dressed and let Jack drive her to Annette’s flat. When she saw the other woman’s blackened eyes and split lip, she was a little ashamed of herself for the first time and gave a grudging apology for her behaviour. The other woman accepted reluctantly, saying she was only letting this go because Jack had asked her to. As the two women stood not knowing what to do next, Jack thanked Annette and gave her an envelope to be told:
“I don’t want your money, but I’ve got no choice but to take it because I can’t go out looking like this, and I have a daughter to feed and clothe. She’s here, I’ve told her to stay in her room. I don’t want her growing up like that bitch, so get her out of my home now please.”
As they went, Helen apologised again, to be given a look of cold contempt that she wouldn’t forget for a long time. Suddenly, she realised she owed Jack an apology too, and told him she was sorry for what she’d done.
She was devastated when he said, “The cost of paying Annette off, is going on the expenses associated with The Curves, it’s not coming out of my own funds, so you need to make things right with the rest of the band as well as me. I don’t want to look at you right now, so I’m dropping you back at your flat. I’ll call you before your gig next Saturday.”
Chapter Seventeen
Helen spent a miserable couple of days sitting around in her run-down flat thinking about Jack, and wondering if it was all too late. For the first time she felt a sense of shame for the way she’d been using and taking advantage of him. What was wrong with her? She hadn’t been bought up to treat people in this way, let alone be violent. She’d met a nice, sorted guy, who would do anything for her, who was also a wild man in the bedroom, and all she’d been interested in was what she could get from him.
The only time she left home was to meet the rest of the band at Jack’s studio at their scheduled practice times. To her relief, they were surprisingly cool with her apology for her behaviour at the party. They laughingly described her fight with Annette as “sexy,” saying that they wished someone had been quick enough to film it, and put it up on online. However, Jack was nowhere to be seen, and there was no word from him.
It was on the Wednesday when Paul wasn’t feeling well that The Curves decided to take a couple of days off to let him recover before the following weekend’s gig. As Helen was at a loose end, she had even more time to think about what had happened and became ever more upset as the day wore on. She’d heard nothing from Jack since he dropped her off the previous weekend, and started to speculate that he might intend to end things with her.
Her jaw was still sore from a punch Annette had landed on it, and it was as she checked her reflection in the bathroom that Helen took a hard look at herself. She began thinking about her appearance, and tried to remember what her natural hair colour actually was.
On an impulse, she cleaned her face off and went to Oxford St, knowing that any of the beauty reps in the big stores would give her a makeover for nothing if she was convincing enough that she planned to buy their products. However, first she stopped off at a hairdresser. Luckily, she didn’t have to wait long for an appointment, and left the salon with her hair colour toned down to a soft mid-brown shade, and cut into a sleek, shiny, shoulder length bob.
Then she stopped off at an Urban Decay store concession where the consultant was only too happy to advise her on how to create subtle looks for every day, and show her various ways to glam herself up for performances. She left the area half an hour later looking like a wholesome teenager, with a bag of samples and purchases that she could ill-afford. As she headed for home, she thought it had to be worth it, to help save her relationship with Jack.
Chapter Eighteen
The Curves were finally able to meet again at the studio on the following Friday evening. When Helen walked in, her band mates' reaction to her image change was very enthusiastic. As they hugged her, their compliments on her hair made her realise she’d done the right thing – she couldn’t wait for Jack to come down and see how different she looked.

However, to her bitter disappointment, he didn’t show and the guys had a very hard time preventing her from going upstairs to see if he was around.
“Leave him,” Paul comforted her in his arms, as she started to cry. “Trust me on this, you need to play it cool. I know it’s hard but don’t bug him, and he’ll come around. He really loves you, it’s written all over him. Let the new Helen be a surprise for him at the gig tomorrow.”
They were getting ready backstage when he showed up. Helen had ditched her usual black clothes and high-heeled boots in favour of a plain, white T-shirt with blue jeans, and her favourite Vans trainers. Her make-up was subtle and low key.
As Jack walked towards her, he didn’t appear to recognise her. When he did, Helen saw a brief look of astonishment on his face, before he managed to hide it and appear deadpan. However, he failed to mask his feelings completely, and couldn’t help smiling as he checked her out saying, “It’s a good job, we hadn’t done the photography for the album cover yet.” Then he took her in his arms and kissed her without saying anything else.
Even though the band were still playing as a support act, they were able to hold the attention of the audience from the moment they walked out on stage. The long-term fans seemed to love Helen’s new look and the wolf whistles from them, boosted her sky high as she delivered the most fantastic performance ever.
When they went off stage and headed for the bar, Jack was nowhere to be seen. After Helen had been looking for him for some time, she spotted him talking to a couple of people at the far side of the club. She was about to walk over and join them, but something stopped her. As she turned away, she had a premonition that the topic of conversation might be important to her and the rest of the band.
