It’s not because Mr. Harris doesn’t know his stuff. It’s because I make decisions based on story considerations and how I think it will be the most exciting for your enjoyment. A real military Special Operations team would probably have a bit less freedom than the HOT guys have. But what fun would that be, right?

Or without Alicia Hunter Pace, aka Jean Hovey and Stephanie Jones, who were there to brainstorm with me last year when I talked about finishing this story. It started as a chapter back in 2007 at my first-ever Romance Writers of America conference. It was Friday night, I was still unpublished, and my roommates were at the Harlequin party. But inspiration struck, and I wrote the first thirty pages or so that evening. Then I tucked it away and wrote twenty books for Harlequin.
