  Ethan gave a husky laugh. ‘I’m perfectly happy running Burton Industries. Even more so now that I know our children will one day inherit it,’ he added soberly. ‘Besides which, as CEO of Burton Industries, I’ve been a guest lecturer at LSE for the past two years.’ He shrugged dismissively. ‘It’s enough. As long as I have you, Mia, and any children that come along in the future, I’ll be happy.’

  Mia didn’t doubt that Ethan meant every word he said—could see the truth of it as he gazed down at her with absolute love in his eyes.

  ‘I love you so much, Ethan,’ she breathed.

  ‘And I love you, Mia.’
