Auctioned: An Omegaverse Anthology

“He doesn’t like anyone. Don’t worry about him, you’re going to be fine. You’re safe now.”

  “Oh…”

She fell silent, musing as she watched the city streets fly by. It was difficult to reason out why a virile Alpha who seemed to favor men would choose a female Omega who couldn’t provide him with children. After all, an Alpha’s pride was his Omega and his offspring. They were his legacy. He must have something else in mind for her.

It was fifteen minutes before they pulled into an underground garage beneath a high-rise complex. It was one of the tallest structures she’d ever seen, far nicer a building than those in the wilds.

“This is where you live?” she asked, staring out at the other vehicles as he parked. “It’s so nice…”

The Alpha chuckled as he got out and opened her door, extending a hand to help her up. “By Rathsima standards, this is practically the slums.”

Magda bit her tongue. She’d lived in a tiny house in a sector where raids on the antiquated power plants were constantly causing electrical outages. Her family home had only been as big as a couple of the auction house cells.

After her mother passed, it was just her, her Beta brother, and their Alpha father in that little house. Her brother left the second he thought he was old enough to take care of himself. Her father did his best, but he was never the nurturing type. He fed her and kept a roof over her head, but he spent too much time working and keeping her safe to give her anything else.

They rode an elevator up several floors—seven, if she were to believe the little digital screen above the doors—before exiting into a sterile-looking hallway. It was comprised entirely of whites and grays, with no windows and no decoration. It seemed cold for a building full of homes. Then again, Magda had no real basis for comparison.

The Alpha led her to the left, pulling out his keys as they approached a door at the end of the hall. He unlocked it, smiling down on her as he pushed it open and motioned her in.

  “Welcome home, hellcat.”

She took a tentative step inside, eyeing the space with trepidation.

The room was massive, nothing like she’d expected. The main living area featured a sofa and two chairs—large, plush, and dark—a coffee table, and an entertainment system that took up the better part of the back wall. To the right, a kitchen was laid out flat along the wall. An island with stools seemed to serve as their dining area.

On the left side of the space, a half-wall separated the main area from where they slept. She could see part of the huge bed from where she stood. There were closed doors along several walls, but she had no idea what might be behind them.

  “Pick up your jaw, sweets.”

The amused rumble of the man at her side alerted her to the fact that her mouth was indeed hanging open. Blushing, Magda shut it.

  “It’s so nice!”

He chuckled, turning her to face him. “This is your home now too. I hope you like it.”

She nodded, smiling up at him bashfully. “It’s beautiful.”

One hand drifted up her shoulder, settling against the side of her throat. He traced his thumb along her jaw, his expression searching. “Well, hellcat, I think it’s about time for proper introductions. I’m Elias. You can call me Eli, if you want.”

  “Elias.”

She bit her lip, her smile widening. She liked the way his name felt on her tongue.

  “What’s your name?”

  “Magda.”

He inhaled deeply, leaning forward to press a kiss to her forehead. “Well, Magda, why don’t we get you cleaned up and get you something to eat?”

She nodded eagerly. She didn’t like feeling dirty, not next to him. He smelled so good—soap and Alpha musk. She wanted him to be pleased with her, wanted him to know she was grateful.

Elias led her towards one of the closed doors she’d been inspecting moments before, which turned out to be a washroom. He opened a drawer, removing a toothbrush and setting it on the counter near the sink.

“There are towels on the shelf next to the shower. You can use this toothbrush for now. I’ll get you your own soon. I’ll make you something to eat while you bathe.”

He smiled at her again, tugging an errant curl resting against her cheek before he slid out of the bathroom and shut the door.

Magda stripped out of her slaves’ gown, not wanting to waste any time. She had no shoes or other garments to speak of, since the auction house didn’t give slaves marked for disposal anything of value. She wrinkled her nose at the sight of her own body. She was so dirty.

She stepped into the tub basin, studying the digital control pad with confusion. Her childhood home had a tub, but it was an Old-World-styled affair with one handle that you turned to the right for heat. Even then, half the time she had to heat water on the stove and fill the tub by hand. There were little lines and squiggles on the buttons, and she couldn’t work out what they meant.

  “Elias?”

She picked at her nails while she waited, chewing her lip and hoping he wouldn’t be angry that she’d interrupted him.

He opened the door moments later, one brow quirking as he took in the sight of her—looking lost and naked—in the empty tub.

  Chapter Six

  “Everything okay?”

She frowned at the controls. “I can’t figure out how to turn it on,” she said, glancing back up at him and trying not to sound too pathetic.

Elias’s expression softened as he eased into the room. “I’m not surprised. It’s some new-fangled shit Lorin put in. He loves his technology.”

Magda stepped back as he reached her side, her skin tingling at the unexpected way he paused to allow his eyes to devour her before he rectified the issue of the non-running shower. Finally, he pulled his gaze away. “This one here turns it on.”

She watched closely as he gestured to buttons, determined to remember.

“See this line of buttons down the middle? These increase the heat and spray strength. Start at the top, work your way down. It’ll get hotter as you go. This button here turns it off. But why don’t I just show you?”

It wasn’t until he started shedding his clothes that she realized why the subtle change in his expression made her feel flushed. He was aroused. She smelled the pheromone rush now. She licked her lips, watching as he bared his chest and went to work on his pants. She’d known he was a beautiful Alpha. Seeing him naked only cemented her opinion.

All rippling muscles and Alpha virility, he was gorgeous and frightening. Dark eyes and dark, tousled hair gave a mysterious, reckless vibe to the man before her. She watched the way his muscles worked as he stepped over the lip of the tub, fascinated by the illusion of control. He was a mass of barely reined-in strength tempered only by his personality. She knew how dangerous Alphas could be.

“Are you glad you’re my girl now?”

Magda nodded without pausing to consider, watching with hungry eyes as he reached behind himself and turned on the shower. She was glad. She only hoped she lived up to his expectations.

Elias mimicked her nod and smiled, stepping into her space as the first hot sprays of water ricocheted off his back. He blocked the deluge of water with his body, but the steam rolled up in waves, heating her skin.

“I’m glad too. You’re going to be a good girl for Lorin and I, aren’t you?”

  “Y-Yes.”

He frowned at her, curling a finger beneath her chin as his free hand slipped around her waist to pull her close. “Why don’t you sound sure about that?”

  “I just… I don’t want to disappoint you.”

He purred in response, and Magda’s body went slack against his. Belly to his groin, his cock pressed uncomfortably against her navel, hot and hard. He moved his hand from her chin to cup the back of her head, drawing her cheek against his chest where the vibration curled out loud and strong.

She closed her eyes, daringly lifting her hands to skim them along his sides. She embraced him, holding on to muscle as
his purr unpacked her anxiety. Elias stroked her hair, exceptionally gentle considering how his rigid cock suggested he had other things in mind.

“We all disappoint each other now and then, hellcat. None of us are perfect, especially not in this fucking house. It’s not the end of the world. But family isn’t about being perfect, anyway. It’s about loyalty and love. Being dedicated to each other. Yeah?”

  She nodded.

“Well, then. So long as you always try… you don’t have anything to worry about.”

  “What about him?”

“Lorin isn’t usually such a prick, Mags. He isn’t into pussy, but that doesn’t mean you can’t win him over in other ways. Just be yourself. He’ll see. Now let’s get you cleaned up. If I have to wait one more minute to fuck you, I’m gonna blow.”

The abrupt change in subject made her flush, a thrill of pleasure zigzagging down her spine as he pulled her away from his chest. He shifted their positions, moving her beneath the spray of heated water.

She may as well have been a doll, for all he let her contribute to washing herself. While it was awkward having another person wash your hair and bathe you, she got over her initial discomfort quickly. Elias’s hands felt so good on her body that her insides clenched with longing. He massaged her scalp, tilting her head back to rinse her hair, careful not to get soap in her eyes.

Magda watched him, touched him. She stroked his cock while he worked his fingers through her curls, using some kind of conditioner to detangle the mess they’d become. He grunted, tugging her hair in warning when she grew bolder in how she worked him.

“Easy there, hellcat. Let me finish this first. Go slow.”

She slowed the pace of her hands as he washed her body, silky bubbles accompanying the spread of his fingers over her skin. He spun her around—back to his front—and continued to work suds over her body. He slid his fingers between her folds, circling her clit in a tight tease. The press and roll of his touch made her hips jerk.

  Magda whined.

  “Almost done,” he assured her.

He made several more passes over her clit and through the wetness between her legs that was no longer just soap, then pushed her away.

Magda sputtered as she came under the spray of water, closing her eyes as it pelted her and washed the suds down her body. He helped the progress, his hands following the path of the water. It was possessive, his touch. Even as Elias learned the shape of her, his caresses grew rougher. She could feel his control fading.

He planted his hands on the underside of her thighs as he lifted her up, pressing her against his torso and forcing her legs wide around his waist. Her shoulders hit cold tile as he backed her up to the wall. He wasted no time pivoting his hips, the head of his cock butting against her drenched sex. His fingers flexed as he pressed the mushroom-shaped crown between her petals, closing his mouth over her throat. When he groaned, it vibrated through her skin

Magda wrapped her arms around his neck, hitching her ankles over his ass and clinging to him. The thought occurred to her that if he let go, she’d be impaled on that rigid rod of flesh. The idea was met with both fear and excitement. Could she take him when she wasn’t in heat? He was a large man, even if he wasn’t a prime Alpha. She was certainly wet enough, but her confidence waned as he pressed upward.

“It’s been a long time,” she gasped, the searing stretch of his slow invasion hurting more than she’d expected.

“Mmm, well… Let me help with that.”

  He growled.

Magda gasped, eyes rolling back as her body spasmed in response. He sank deeper, aided by how her muscles now pulled at his cock.

It was a wicked sort of noise, that growl, designed to force submission. He exercised it with more skill than most. She wasn’t surprised, considering who he chose to bed down with. Two Alpha males constantly jockeying for control would require a higher level of domination in their sex games. But Magda wasn’t an Alpha, and the sound nearly undid her.

She whined when the swell of an orgasm threatened to crest from it alone. Magda bit her tongue, hoping the pain would dampen the sensation. Against her throat, Elias chuckled.

“Don’t be ashamed, Mags. You’re meant to melt for me. It’s just the way of things.” He growled again, low and rough against her throat.

Her orgasm broke like a storm. Magda shrieked as her body spasmed and bucked beneath its torrent. Elias thrust up hard, his cock splitting her wide as he buried himself to the hilt.

In the eye of the storm that was her pleasure, he took his. More vicious than the last, his growl erupted once more, dismantling her from the inside out and reshaping her just for him.

Magda’s world shattered as he fucked her, clinging tight to his shoulders as he battered her with a volley of thrusts so rapid and unrelenting that he seemed more machine than man.

She was given no chance to recover; Elias forced tsunami waves of pleasure threaded with exquisite pain on her, drowning her. His hands, his mouth, his teeth, his cock—the onslaught was unrelenting, filled with the possessive drive of an Alpha claiming his mate.

Magda never thought she’d know what it felt like—to be wanted. To be claimed. No one wanted a damaged mate. But the fervor of Elias’ domination made it clear. He may not have set his teeth to her flesh, but she was his.

By the time the burn and stretch of his growing knot was popping in and out of her entrance, Magda was quaking from the exhaustion of too much stimulation. When he simultaneously thrust and jerked her down on his meat, his knot flared, finally locking them together. He cried out against her shoulder as he came, a roar of relief and pleasure that singed her sensitive nerves and sent her spiraling into another orgasm.

She felt each hot spurt of his release inside her, her muscles milking him with fluttering spasms. It felt so… right. She clawed at his shoulders, forcing herself to breathe through the urge to cry. She didn’t want to ruin the moment by being emotional, but it was so hard not to be. To feel safe, to know that he wanted her despite her impairment, was amazing. His knot symbolized so much more for her than just sexual release.

His roar melted into a breathless groan as he nuzzled at her throat, a satisfied sound accompanying his tongue lapping water off her skin.

“You’re perfect, Magda,” he murmured, his purr rumbling lazily to life. “Perfect for me, just like I knew you would be. Mine, now. My hellcat.”

Magda closed her eyes, heart swelling at his declaration. His. She was his. Finally, she’d have an Alpha of her own.

  Chapter Seven

Lorin could smell her all the way out in the hall. He frowned as he slipped his key in the lock, annoyed that he’d have to upgrade the security of the apartment now that they were housing an Omega. No one would know she was worthless from scent alone, and it might be tempting to another Alpha to make an easy acquisition by stealing the girl while they were out.

He was definitely going to have to upgrade.

“I can smell her all the way down at the goddamn elevator, Eli. Gods. Gonna have to upgrade security now.”

He stopped in his tracks, narrowing his eyes at the scene before him.

Elias was sitting on the couch, nude—knees spread—stroking his cock. The Omega was sitting on the floor beside him with her arms folded over his knee. She’d obviously been watching. Now they were both watching him.

  “What’s this?”

Elias smirked. “Been waiting for you to get home.”
