“Do you understand, Mr. Castellini?” Spinster Throne repeated.
“Yes, Your Highness,” Lou said, swallowing the distaste in his mouth.
“Good,” she nodded with closure. “Remember, Mr. Mulligan. You have thirty days to ensure that Gracie Harris meets her soul mate. Thirty days. And there will be no third chances.”
With that, Spinster Throne adjourned Teddy’s trial and sealed everyone’s fate with a rotation of the bingo cage, and a pronouncement of the draw.
