“You hurt me, Dustin. I trusted you with a piece of my past that was hard for me to give, and you took it and used it against me.”
“I never meant to hurt you, Savanna. I was being selfish,” Dustin said.
Savanna hugged her arms around herself and stared up at him.
“I love you, Savanna. Please give me another chance.”
“I’m scared to, Dustin. I trusted you, and you lied to me.” Savanna looked so sad it nearly broke his heart.
“I won’t do it again. I promise you. Just give us a chance.”
“I missed you so much last night.” Savanna held her arms out toward him.
Dustin pulled her into his arms and hugged her. He drew in the first real breath he’d had since he’d rung the doorbell. Her shoulders shook, and he realized she was crying.
“Don’t cry, baby. Why are you crying?” he asked. He tried pulling her away so he could look at her face, but she held on to him and buried her head in his chest.
“I thought I had lost you. I didn’t think you really loved me because you didn’t call me or anything. Why did you wait so long?”
“Karen said you needed some time to think. I thought I was doing the right thing. If I had known you would talk to me, I would have called you last night.”
“I wouldn’t have answered the phone, but I would have known you still cared about me.”
Dustin shook his head. He didn’t understand women and how their minds worked.
“I’m here now, though. I’m not going anywhere. We’re going to work this out.”
“I love you, Dustin.”
“I love you, too, baby,” he said.
She raised her head from his chest. Her eyes were red rimmed from crying, and he felt the dampness of his shirt where her face had been. He wiped away a tear with his thumb and leaned in and kissed her lightly on the lips. She sniffed and hugged him tighter.
“Let’s get you a bath cloth, and then we can sit and talk some, okay?” Dustin asked.
“All right.”
They walked hand in hand back to her bedroom. Dustin sat her on the bed and wet a bath cloth in the bathroom for her face. He watched as she wiped her face and blew her nose. He smiled at her.
“Feel better now?” he asked.
“Yes, thanks.” She handed him back the bath cloth.
Dustin sat on the bed next to her and put his arm around her. He drew her closer. She leaned her head on his shoulder and sighed.
“I don’t want us to have secrets between us, Dustin. Is there anything else you need to tell me?”
“No, I’m not keeping any secrets from you. I have my own business, and I do travel some. I’m hoping you will go with me now. Sometimes I fly, and sometimes I drive a truck.”
“Like a real eighteen-wheeler?” she asked with the beginnings of a smile on her face.
“Yep. One of the big boys.”
“I think I would like to ride in one.” She fiddled with the buttons on his shirt.
“Um, think we could unbutton them this time? I like this shirt.”
He watched as her face turned red.
“I’m sorry. I don’t know what happened to me. I just couldn’t get the damn things to unbutton for me.”
“I’ll take care of it this time.”
He pulled his arm back from around her and began unbuttoning his shirt. He watched her face the entire time he did, and when he removed his shirt, she was smiling all the way to her eyes. Dustin reached for her, but she stood up instead. He wasn’t sure what she had in mind until she pulled her T-shirt over her head and unfastened her bra, slipping it off as well. He smiled back at her.
“If what you have on your mind is anything like what’s on mine, I like how you think,” he told her.
“Take your jeans off,” was all she said.
Savanna watched as Dustin unfastened his jeans and slipped them down his thighs. He toed off his shoes and stepped out of the jeans. He wasn’t wearing underwear again. She liked it when he wore jeans. She followed suit, and soon they were both standing nude, staring at each other. The look in his eyes was all it took to turn up the heat for her. It never failed to get her all hot and bothered when he looked at her like that.
Dustin reached for her. She went willingly into his arms. The feel of his skin against hers sent a rush of blood straight to her womb. He bent and kissed her, drawing her up to her tiptoes. By the time he released her mouth, she was panting and struggling to catch her breath. He nipped at her chin then kissed down the side of her neck to her shoulder and across to the other side. She ran her hands through his hair and tugged on it when he began nibbling at her earlobe.
“No playing around. I want you,” she said.
“We have all the time in the world,” he said.
“Right, you can go slow next time. I don’t want to go slow.” Savanna wrapped her hand around his cock and squeezed.
“Ah, damn, baby. Need a condom. Hold on.” He bent and rummaged through his jeans for one. She took it from him and tore open the package with her teeth.
Savanna struggled with the condom. It wasn’t going on as smoothly as she would have liked, but she was nervous for some reason. Perhaps it was more need than nerves, though. She ached to have him inside her. As soon as the condom was on, he laid her back on the bed. Dustin came over her and suckled her breast as he checked her sweet pussy to see if she was wet. His fingers came away soaked with her nectar. He sucked her juices off his fingers while she watched. He loved how her blue eyes darkened with desire.
“Now, Dustin.”
He positioned himself between her legs and surged forward. God, she was tight. Even wet, he had to work his way inside of her. Once he was all the way sheathed inside her, he began thrusting in and out. He tried to set a steady rhythm, but she wasn’t satisfied with how fast he was going. She bucked against him until he couldn’t maintain the slow rhythm anymore. He sped up and soon felt her ripple around him as she began to come. He thrust harder inside her as she came. She muffled her scream with one hand as she jerked beneath him. He couldn’t hold out against the rhythmic squeezing of her vaginal muscles around his cock. He thrust one last time and shuddered as he shot off inside of her.
Dustin collapsed next to her on the bed and rolled her over on top of him. She rested her head on his shoulder, and within minutes, she was asleep. He listened to that soft snore that enchanted him. She had forgiven him. Everything would be okay. He had the one woman in the world who managed to get him all hot and bothered with just a look.
