A FILTHY Rock Star: a filthy line novel

“Just making my rounds, Liv,” he whispered. “Finishing up my night.”

“Yeah? You fuck some random woman and then come to me to talk and flirt?”

“No, babe. I didn’t fuck anyone. You were the last one…”

I playfully gasped. “How have you survived? That was like… days…”

Nash stepped forward, his left foot entering my apartment. His left hand wrapped around my hip and he pressed himself against me.

“Why the fuck do you think I’m here?” he asked.

  I bit my lip.

  Oh, shit, Olivia… now what?

I never got to answer my own question because Nash swept his lips across mine, making me forget everything that could go wrong here. All emotion was gone except for lust.

He put both hands to my ass and lifted me up.

I wrapped my legs around him as he stepped into the apartment all the way and slammed the door shut behind him.

My heart pounded as I tasted the whiskey on his tongue.

That meant he had a ride outside. That guy from the bus… Bill… was sitting there waiting for Nash. While Nash walked me to the couch in my apartment.

He lowered me down and broke the kiss.

My eyes opened wide and I begged my mind to really consider what I was doing.

  But…but… but…

  I had already done it.

So what difference did it make?

Nash’s hands grabbed the bottom of the double extra-large hoodie and lifted it up.

My skin tingled and I shivered as I realized he was going to see both of my breasts.

And how random of a thought was that to have?

After all he had done, I was suddenly nervous about him seeing my breasts?

I arched my back as his hands slid up my body. His thumbs grazed over my breasts, touching my nipples, and I was dead again. This rock star was going to keep killing me. And yet I couldn’t help myself.

I sat up enough to let him take the hoodie off me.

And then, there I was, topless in front of Nash.

I didn’t want to think about how many breasts he had seen in his life.

Without hesitation, his hands cupped under my breasts and he lowered his mouth down to my chest. He kissed above my breasts, making me gasp for a breath. I could smell his hair. Sweat and smoke. In need of a shower. Yet it was still so fucking sexy.

I shut my eyes and felt the tip of his tongue inch down to my left breast. He swirled around my nipple and then his mouth latched tight, engulfing my breast into his mouth. His right hand played with my other nipple. A man who knew how to do two things at once. A rock star who knew how to fuck.

No wonder I was dead here…

I grabbed at the back of his shirt and held tight.

He suckled my breast, slowly closing his teeth to my nipple until I protested with a loud groan. Then he pulled away, forcing me to cry his name. He let go and let out a little laugh that made me half want to kill him and half want to tell him I loved him.

As he moved down, I pulled at his shirt.

  He didn’t care.

Off came his shirt and I threw it across the living room.

His lips and tongue treated themselves to my body, kissing down to the top of my panties. His fingertips soon followed, wrapping around the sides and pulling with ease.

He stripped me naked on my own couch.

And then he reversed his kissing, back up to my chest. He moved his filthy rock star mouth over my right breast and did the exact same thing as he did to the other. And with one hand, he wrestled with his jeans and pulled out his rock hard cock and pressed it against me. Bare hard skin to my wet skin.

I bit my lip and told myself I was an idiot for believing him about other women. For trusting him.

But he thrust forward, once again making every sane thought I could ever have suddenly disappear.

I cried out his name again as my hands curled, nails finally digging at his strong back.

I pulled at him as he began to fuck.

His mouth ravaged my chest and then began to climb up to my neck.

I curled my head back as far as I could, just like my eyes rolling to the back of my head. I felt the tip of his tongue slither up from my throat to my chin and he chased down to my mouth, where he took me with a kiss that was almost as hot as the way his lower half took me.

  Six in the morning.

Crazy couch sex with a rock star.

Who. The. Fuck. Was. I. Becoming?

I clawed my hands down to his ass and felt him as he kept going.

He kissed back down to my chest to make up for lost time since he had never gotten his time there yet.

I had no problem with it. If he tried to get too toothy, I just dug my nails harder against his ass and he eased up.

  We were talking without words.

  Our bodies…

Nash cupped a hand to the back of my neck. His other hand held my hip as though it was his last thing to grab before falling off a mile long drop into darkness.

His lips flirted with mine. But we didn’t kiss. Just whiskey stained breaths and his dark and evil eyes smashing against my once innocent blue eyes. Everything wrong and temptation so far exposed it didn’t even matter. All that did matter was the way this ended. Which I promised myself I already knew.

Including the ending on the couch.

Which began to close in by the second as the swell deep inside my core was no longer able to be controlled.

And however he did it… fucking Nash… he kissed me at the exact moment I reached climax.

Which made it twice as good.

And that put my heart twice as much at stake.

I took another breath and bit my lip.

My head was resting on the chest of a rock star.

  On my couch.

As we waited in silence… for…

I slowly lifted my head and saw Nash staring down at me.

“Thought you fell asleep,” I whispered.

  “Nope,” he said.

  “When do you sleep?”

  “I don’t.”

  “Nash…”

“I’m a vampire.” He curled his lip.

“Then you better be careful biting at me,” I said. “I don’t want to end up like you.”

“Oh, babe, too late for that,” he said. “Your pretty blue eyes scream nothing but filth now.”

I rolled my eyes. “How many women have you said that to?”

  “Exact number or rough estimate?”

I groaned and moved from the couch, grabbing for my hoodie.

Nash swung his hand and cracked it against my ass so hard that I lost my breath for a second. I looked back at him, my face hotter than ever in my life.

“You have a nice ass, Liv,” he said.

  It didn’t hurt.

  It was just…

I swallowed hard and put my hoodie back on.

  But I had no panties.

  Those were mysteriously gone again.

  Probably in Nash’s back pocket.

Which was really weird. But kind of hot at the same time.

There was another knock at my door and I looked right at Nash.

  “Finally,” he said.

He swung his legs off my couch and stood up.

  “Who is that?” I asked.

I followed him to the door.

He opened my door and Bill stood there with two coffees.

My face burned red yet again. The hoodie covered everything it was supposed to but my apartment lingered with the smell of… sex.

“Thanks, Bill,” Nash said as he took the coffees. “I’ll be right down.”

“You got it, Nash,” Bill said.

Nash turned and handed me a coffee. “This is for you.”

  “Thanks. Wait… you…”

“Bill dropped me off and went to get us coffee,” Nash said. “I’ve had a long fucking night, babe. And I figured I’d wake your ass up because I want you to come to the studio
. Watch us work on a song.”

  “What…”

“If you would have read the texts I sent, you’d know all of this,” Nash said. “I texted you, Liv. Telling you I was bringing coffee and wanted to talk about the studio.”

I looked at the couch and then at Nash. “So… that…”

“What?” he asked with a grin. “I don’t know what you’re thinking, babe, but I just came over to tell you to get your pretty ass to the studio.”

Nash leaned down and kissed my cheek.

He turned and opened the apartment door to leave. He reached back and took my panties out of his back pocket and hooked them over his pointer finger. Silky purple, draped over his shoulder.

I held the door open and watched him leave.

I had no idea what had actually just happened.

But my body did… and so did my heart.

  * * *

I had complete access to the studio. Like I was part of the band.

I slowly walked down the hallway toward the room with all the sound and mixing equipment.

Sab came out of the room, eyes down on his phone.

He walked right toward me until I cleared my throat to get his attention.

He looked up and smiled. “Hey, Liv. What’s up?”

“Nothing,” I said. “Nash told me to stop by.”

“Nice. We’re just throwing some tracks down. Figuring out this new tune. Go check it out.”

“Yeah. I’m going to go check it out.”

Sab winked and kept walking, eyes back down to his phone.

I poked my head around the doorway and saw Dex and Reed standing there.

  They both nodded.

I leaned against the doorway and turned my head enough to see the hole in the wall Nash had punched. On the floor was a busted up picture frame. I slowly crouched and saw who the band was in the picture.

  “Don’t touch that,” Reed said.

  “Why?”

“Nash pissed on it,” Dex said.

I quickly stood up. “On a picture of-”

“Don’t speak the name,” Dex said.

“It’s that bad between the two bands?” I asked.

  They both ignored me.

  Asshole rock stars.

I was going to pressure them, but then I heard the sounds of the guitar.

I looked through the glass and saw Jay and Nash each sitting on a tan wooden stool. Each holding a guitar. They were wearing large headphones. Nash had a microphone in front of him.

I inched closer to the soundboard and I spotted a piece of paper sitting there.

  Handwritten lyrics.

I started to read them and a second later Nash started to sing.

We took the night that one night

  we owned the entire town

  it was warm for spring

and we were set to burn this down

  The pretty girls in dresses

  guys ready for a fight

  throwing punches and glances

blue and red flashing in sight

  And we started to run

  laughing taking my girl’s hand

from the tracks down to the river

under the moon I had a plan

  To kiss you forever girl

to make sure you’d never forget

so when time swept in to take you away

we’d keep everything but these regrets

  The music stopped.

  I looked up.

Nash had a look in his eyes. Like he was a different person.

He stood up and put the guitar down.

  Jay shrugged his shoulders.

“That sounded solid, bro,” Dex said. “Why don’t we put some more sound to it?”

“Not yet,” Nash yelled. “Leave it the fuck alone.”

“Here, let me show you what I’ve been working on,” Jay said. “Just start playing it again, guys. I’ll grab right after the chorus for the first bridge.”

Reed’s hands moved across the soundboard and the song started to play again. It was a different version though. With all the guitars. With the bass. With Sab’s drums.

Jay started to play a guitar solo.

Each note somehow bled through the speakers and fit the song.

I studied the lyrics again and couldn’t believe how good they were. How real it all felt.

When Jay stopped playing, Reed killed the song again.

Nash just stood there, staring at the floor.

“What’s he doing?” I asked Dex.

  “Writing,” Dex said. “Just watch.”

When Nash came back to life, he walked to a piano in the room.

  He started to play.

Jay hurried to drag the microphone Nash had been singing into over to Nash.

The piano sounded welcoming yet haunting.

Jay pointed to Reed and Reed found the perfect spot to bring in the song again.

Now it was a whole new sound.

  The guitars. And the piano.

It lasted all of ten seconds before Nash stood up and walked away.

“That’s what we’re going to do,” he called out as he walked from that room to the room I was in.

He reached for the lyrics and was out of the room a second later.

  As though I was invisible.

I wasn’t sure what to think or feel.

“Can’t take that personally,” Jay said as he stepped into the room. “It’s how he works.”

  “He’s… different…”

“It’s not always what you think,” Jay said. “Tits, pussy, whiskey, coke, and loud music. There’s a lot more to it. That’s what makes it all so dangerous.”

  “The music?” I asked.

Jay grinned. “No, Liv. Falling in love with him.”

He moved toward Dex and Reed.

I moved out into the hallway.

Nash stood there with one foot behind him on the wall, writing lyrics.

I could have flashed him right then and he wouldn’t have seen me.

I had never seen anything like it before.

Was this why he wanted me to come to the studio? To see the more serious side of him? Or was it some kind of warning of what his life was… excesses all night and musical genius by day…

I wasn’t sure where that left me.

Other than actually starting to fall in love with him.

  NASH

I took the headphones off and stood up.

Toby gave me a pat on the back.

“Thanks for that sound,” Slimmy said with his gray, knotted hair sticking up everywhere.

He threw an arm around me for a hug and I hugged him back.

He was the first guy in the city to play a Filthy Line song, so we were forever in his debt. Even if that meant doing stupid shit like dropping by for a cliché interview and recording some sound bites for him to play during breaks.

I didn’t do that kind of thing, but when Slimmy needed me, I was there.

“Hey, off the record,” he said, “how’s the new music?”

  “Fucking great,” I said.

  “Signed with SLECK yet?”

  “Not yet,” I said.

  “But the deal’s done, right?”

  “Who told you that?”

“Nash, everyone is drooling to get their hands on the band. Whatever they’re offering, it must be good.”

“I really don’t care about that, Slimmy.”

“Yes, you do,” he said with a laugh. “You’re all greedy pricks.”

“I’ll buy you a new car when I sign the deal,” I said.

“How about something else to ride?”

“You want a woman?” I asked. “How about a haircut and a shower first?”

Slimmy grabbed my shoulder and shook. “Always a smart mouth.” He looked at Toby. “You know, he waited at my car for me? I had his ass kicked out so many times… and the little fuck showed up at my car. With a baseball bat. As if that hadn’t happened to me before. So you know what
I did?”

“You took the demo and ran it over,” I said. “I was there.”

“But I didn’t think about the rest of the band,” Slimmy said. “They were waiting for me and blocked my way out. These rock star punks on motorcycles, ready to kick my ass. Made me play their song right on the spot.”

“I remember,” Toby said. “I advised them not to do that.”

“I bet they still don’t listen,” Slimmy said.

“Never,” I said. “When we cut the first few real songs you can stop by the studio and listen.”

“That would be sweeter than a stripper’s glittered tits,” Slimmy said.

We left the station and Liv was waiting for me in the hallway.

I grabbed her ass with my right hand and growled as I pushed at her. She jumped to her toes and swung a fist that connected with my shoulder damn hard.

“Like it rough, huh?” I whispered.

“I’ll break your wrist next time,” she said.

“Jesus Christ,” Toby said from behind us.

  Liv looked back.

“Don’t worry,” I whispered to her. “He knows about us. He’s in on our filth.”

  “Asshole,” Liv said.

“I’m not in on anyone’s filth,” Toby said. “I see nothing.”

Toby hurried to get in front of us.

When we got outside, a group of fans were waiting there for me.

  Their screams pierced my ears.

“Go ahead,” I said to Liv. “Save yourself.”

“No tits,” she whispered to me.

“Oh, you’re my boss now?” I asked her.

She reached up and pulled my sunglasses down my nose. “You touch any of their tits and you don’t get to touch mine.”

She blew me a kiss and walked to the waiting SUV.

I stood there with security around me, signing anything given to me.

Liv was playing a really hard fucking game here.

“I love you, Nash,” someone said.

“Love you too, babe,” I said almost robotic.

My eyes were on the SUV.

When I finally got there, Toby opened the door for me.

I shoved him away. “Get your own ride.”

  “What?”

  “You heard me.”

I climbed into the back and leaned forward.

  “What’s up, Nash?” Bill asked.

“You need a coffee break, man.”
