She saw every type of ship in every size that was manufactured, and they were all being outfitted with Threads.

Quill walked into the office of the ranking officer who was questioning the prisoners.

“I want her put into a private holding area and assigned to a special repair crew near the med center on the third floor.”

The officer had risen as the Royal entered. He honored this young Heir, but he wasn’t sure if he should salute or how to respond.

“Sir, should I put a tracking device on her?”

Quill looked around the small busy, but orderly office. “No, I know where she is and can find her when I want.” He noted that the officer was uncomfortable. He remembered some of the words of Advisor Dee, about being considerate to others, especially those that served the Royal House well. “You are doing a good job. I hope we can return some of the prisoners to their homes and maybe even help some of the other soldiers. Just keep up with the interviews and if you need something, let me know.”

Quill left the officer standing in awe. He thought that Dee would be pleased. He also thought about how they had ended up with prisoners.

  During the War…

The beautiful, dangerous, naked Assassin had stood unafraid, surrounded by Quill’s own royal guards with raised weapons and calmly handed over the wrapped gem. Quill had heard for a long time the rumors of the working females within the different floors, of the sexual powers of this Assassin. Quill wasn’t one to question the male who protected his mother and taught him how to death fight.

If the interesting Assassin chose someone now and then to release tension, Quill didn’t inquire. He didn’t question Bogdan’s choices, as Quill had been introduced to both male and female sexual experiments at an early age. He didn’t judge as long as it was consensual.

So Quill unwrapped the green gem and recognized it for what it was, a weapon. The longer he looked at it, the more his fathers’ spoke to him. Not in words, not in the present. Just in the knowledge implanted in him, as to what this weapon could do and if he wanted to create that type of destruction.

He needed some information to make his decision. “Get me Advisor Dee on a screen.”

Advisor Dee had told him how many of his own people had died on the planet with the attacks. It was thousands. He also told Quill how many had been injured and than went into the tens of thousands. Dee had said that now that the cities were all powered with Threads, the deaths and injuries had subsided. He did say they had not counted on those on the two satellites that were beyond the blockade. It was assumed they were at least captured. Hopefully their people on the research stations hadn’t fought back, so that they had just been taken prisoners. That would be another ten thousand.

Quill had announced he needed a volunteer pilot to take him to a point on the equator. Several eager pilots stepped forward or raised their hands. Without thinking about it, he just pointed at the nearest one.

He spoke to the pilot who was already dressed in the proper gear. “Can you land one of the small ships in the heavy wind and storm that is out there right now?”

The pilot was smart enough to take a quick look out before he nodded. “If it is important and someone puts some weight in the ship, I can land it anywhere.”

The pilot was true to his word. He quickly inspected the little ship, made sure the right amount of weight was in the correct areas and soon had the Heir in the middle of the storm. He headed the ship directly to the area indicated by the green eyes of the Royal male.

Quill was also in the heavy pilots gear as he knelt beside the ship, somewhat shielded by a metal wing from the storm. He placed the gem on the ground, making sure its point was in the ground and the many facets were upward. He could feel the pilot behind him, facing outward, weapon out to cover his back. He had picked a good male.

“Pilot, what is your first name?” Quill spoke over the winds. This small island, up high above the sea had missed most of the abuse the explosives had done to his world.

Yelling over his shoulder, the pilot answered. “Rad, sir.”

“Okay, Rad. When I give the word, I want you to close your eyes. There will be a bright light from this gem and it will blind you if you aren’t careful. Will you follow my orders?”

The pilot didn’t hesitate. “Yes sir, just give the word. I will need my sight to fly you out of here.”

Quill adjusted the gem again, turning it in just the right direction to match the rotation of his planet. “Rad, close your eyes.”

Then he pushed with his brain as he felt his fathers’ instructions had implanted into him. He saw the green bolt circle out from the gem and start to creep around the ground. It wanted to cover the ground and it also wanted to leave and it went higher and higher. In his minds eyes he saw his planet, as if from a distant place in space. At first it seemed to turn green, then a green bubble opened to expand outward. It was just a soft cloud like essence that passed through the atmosphere and seemed harmless until it touched the blockage ships that were close to the planet.

Each ship had a minor explosion. Some were bad enough to be totally wiped out. Some were damaged and plunged to sink down into the planet they were suffocating.

Quill heard the thousands of voices of the dying. He shook with grief then stood.

“You can open your eyes, nor Rad. We must go home. We have a lot of people to rescue and many prisoners to put into holding.”

Who would have thought that there would be one prisoner that would be of special interest to Quill?

  Chapter Five

The beginning of the end of the War….

The Assassin was sitting up on a beam, watching Magda, pleased to have found her working and well. For one of the many times as he watched her, he felt his cock react, seeming to also watch the quiet female. It was here that he experienced the green cloud outburst that eventually ended the war.

Everyone stopped in shock, as first the green glow seemed to envelope the entire horizon then dispersed upward. Bogdan was like most of those in this large work area, as he made his way closer to the clear force field that protected the unusually large opening to the landing field of the Royal cave.

The green cloud faded and moved higher. At last there was the flashes of distant explosions. The sounds of those bright lights did not reach the ground as they were up above the atmosphere, but eventually there was damage. Damage from ships that fell through the atmosphere and fell to the planet.

Nature had its affect, as falling ships burnt with the friction of the air, trailing long bright flames and great tails of black smoke. Some ships had enough control to try to find a landing area. Again they forgot about the body of earth they had attacked. Storms raged and tore at their ships as they reached the lower stratus.

If a few ships made land intact, they were met with soldiers rising from the ground. These soldiers were protected in suits almost like those used to go outside in space. The strong winds and driving rain did not affect the native soldiers in their protective gear. They rescued many that were now prisoners. The injured were treated and the healthy were put in holding areas.

Unaware of the specially outfitted troops waiting to go topside, Bogdan and almost everyone else in this substantial landing area were drawn to the force field to see the unusual display in the high distant space. It was obvious that the green cloud had touched and taken out the blockade of ships.

The ships were too high to see with an eye from the ground, but the flash of explosions could be seen. It wasn’t long before there could be seen streaks of fire and smoke as debris hit the atmosphere.

As a Master Assassin, he could divide up his attention and he needed that ability now. He needed to be aware, as usual, for his sphere of safety. He wanted to be aware of Magda and make sure she was in no danger. He was interested to see the unusually outfitted soldiers leaving through an exit tunnel to go topside. With all of this, he let his eyes watch what was happening in the skies above GigasVnee.

It took a surprisingly short time before injured ships embarked to try landing. Among the fireballs, the bits and pieces raining down, there were crippled ships that were attempting to save their crews.

Suddenly the unusual happened and Bogdan had to do what his Master would have said was foolish. A wounded ship came in to try and land.

At the same instant of explosion, the Assassin was down and had Magda in his arms. Wrapping his shadow cape around both of them, he moved swiftly sideways to drop behind the large ship Magda had been helping to strip.

The force field was in place, but there were limits. Two small areas had been opened to allow some air movement due to the fact that the power had been interrupted for a short period. There was a safety factor built into the force field that covered the multi-storied opening and it kicked in immediately.

Still pieces of the craft managed to fly into and skid across the surface, hitting ships, equipment and a few people on the cave floor.

He heard Magda’s soft voice. “Assassin, you are very warm, but very heavy. I think it would be advisable for you to move.”

He looked down at her, both of them hidden under his black cloak. For the first time in all the years of his training, he almost gave her a natural smile. Worse he almost lowered his head to kiss her soft lips. Yet he would not damage their friendship.

“Magda, I need to get you to a safe area.”

Before he finished she raised her head from the stone floor and pressed an open mouth to his. He didn’t move as she hesitantly took her tongue and licked his lower lip. Oh no, a deeper friendship was forming, even as his male organ was speaking.

Bogdan felt there was a chance she might not be a virgin, but he did believe she had never felt the real pleasure of gentle and reverent intercourse. He wasn’t going to enjoy her and give her what she deserved here on this cold floor, as damage was happening around them.

“Magda, my loving friend. We must explore this need further. Yet we must postpone it for a better time and a better place.” He pulled her to her feet as he rose and looked down carefully into her large animal like eyes. He couldn’t resist and he completed the kiss. It was a deep kiss, one that let her know what she might expect if she approved.

At last he released that sweet tasting mouth and taking her wrist he began to pull her away from the large opening. The force field was flickering as someone had increased the power. He felt this was a good idea and he needed to check on the Royal Vault. It would be a safer area to stash his friend who was becoming more than a friend.

Thank the protective Gods of this planet, Bogdan found that the further back in the deep cavern, the less damage was caused by the downed ship.

Still holding Magda by the wrist, he checked on the Royal Vault. Satisfied that it was secure and the area around it clear. There were several Royal Guards at attention, so he was comfortable the Queen/Slave was protected.

He did a quick survey. He found what he wanted and what would suit her needs. He knew she would want to feel useful.

A short distance along the wall, protected by guards and heavy barriers, was a weapons distribution center. Just inside the front wide door was a open enclosure for repairs. It held a bench and equipment with good lights and even a cot.

He pulled her up close. “You can be of use here and be safe away from the wide open area.” He saw the agreement in her wide dark eyes. He looked over her head at a lower officer who stepped forward.

  “Sir, can we assist you?”

“Yes, this worker is assigned here. She is under my protection, so see that anything she needs is supplied. She is a good worker and will be an asset.” Bogdan didn’t wait for an answer, knowing that any request from the Assassin for the Royal Party would be accepted.

  After the War…

Minel was looking for a ship that would get her off this world. She was also looking for ways to stay undetected. First she needed to change clothes, but not into anything that would draw attention or get her into deep trouble. If she is caught in some innocuous persons clothing, she could use an excuse that her clothes were dirty and she had changed into whatever she could find.

The problem she had was that all she saw here was military or military type personnel. Minel scooted back around the tunnel exit and pressed against the wall, keeping boxes between her and anyone looking in this direction. Fortunately, everyone was looking at the outside areas or the ships.

At last she saw what she needed. Over by the next exit tunnel, beyond the useless lifts, were nonmilitary workers collecting clothes and left over food items to take to upper floors. Minel took a deep breath, unbuttoned the top of her prison jump suit and tied it around her waist, leaving her undershirt showing.

Keeping her back straight and walking as if going to an appointment, she walked past the workers. She was able to latch onto a large handful of brown and tan clothing. Hopefully something in the clutch would fit or cover her. She had no time to check, just kept walking, hoping she would not hear a shout behind her.

She finally was far enough away to turn behind large scrapes of metal. Minel checked to make sure she was in a private area with no one coming in this direction. She waited here for a few minutes to make sure she was in an area that was useless.

Looking behind her, there was the dark hole of a tunnel exit. It must be one of the hallways that led upward, but had been closed due to some damage in the upper world.

She felt safe, so she sorted through and found a brown pair of pants along with a tan shirt that would serve. They would get her out on the floor, near the ships. She would have to keep on her orange prison slippers, maybe get them dirty as soon as possible to hide their color.

She slid out of the one-piece prisoner uniform and even pulled off her two sweaty underclothes. The pants pulled on quickly and she worked fast, slipping her feet back into her shoes as she pushed her arms into the shirt.

Before she set to fixing the attracting closures at the front of the shirt, a large body moved up against her back, pressing her fully against the cold black scrap metal.

“Need help with the closures?” The voice was soft, as a breath teased past her ear. This was not a wayward guard who had caught her. This was the male that she wanted to avoid in whatever way she could.

For a long period there was no movement and no noise. Minel couldn’t get enough air, nor could she think. She could only feel. She could feel the long hot body holding her. She needed to escape. She made an effort to move her hips sideways.

“Umm. That is nice.” His voice was still, nothing more than a whisper.

She felt him as he pushed his hips harder. Heat hit her from within her own body, responding to the feel of his member being pushed between her ass. Heat built from her insides that she was fighting. She refused to let him know that she was being aroused by his threat.

As quick as he had pinned her to the metal he stepped back and swung her around. She automatically threw her hand at him, but it was a fruitless action, as he caught her fist easily. He held her hand for only a moment then lowered her arm to her side.

“I like the view, yet I think you had an action that needs finished.” His eyes were green glass and impossible for her to tear her own away. His hips still had her pinned as he leaned back to look at the open shirt to admire her breasts.

She jerked herself out of her stupor and moved to pull the shirt closed, but his hands were there first. He smiled down at her as he slowly closed her shirt, letting the attracting pieces lock.

“So many secrets. Why are you here, Mine?”

Minel shook her head. It took all her training to keep her voice steady. “I turned in the wrong direction. Release me and I will return to my holding area. My name is Minel.”

She was surprised when he stepped back. In some ways she was disappointed, but she would hide and handle that within herself later.

He never raised his voice above that whisper, still she heard him clearly in this tall reflecting nois
y cavern. “Go through this dark tunnel behind me. Two floors up is a lady guard who will show you to your new holding area. Do not get lost this time or it will be my pleasure to take you personally to your bunk.”

Even with him taunting her, she wouldn’t look up and meet those murderous glass green eyes. She would never let him know the deep down attraction her body had for his.

Quill didn’t move his tall body as she stepped around it and hurried up the dark tunnel. She was pleased that the walkway was dark only for a short distance. A wider crossway with comfortable lighting gave her a choice of right, left or going on up to the next level.

She turned left and it didn’t take her long to find a couple of guards. They actually raised their weapons, but she held up her hands and explained her presence, not exactly in the correct order.

“I am a prisoner, lost. A person of importance who was below sent me here and said a guard would get me to my bunk.”

She watched them talk through their coms and with a bored nod, one of them indicated for her to follow him. He evidently did not see her as much of a problem, if he just wanted her to follow.

It was a long walk to the holding area where he turned over to a holding guard who took her down to her normal area. She was just in time for the second meal.

Time to eat, clean up and climb up into her bunk. Time to try to understand what the hell was wrong with her.

  Chapter Six

  During the War….

Baloko Sachim was a seasoned military officer. Never had he been tempted to leave his post or do anything but the best for his duty. He was the Commander of the Troops for GigasVnee and he was tempted to leave his post for a very special female.

He was in a temporary Command Center on one floor up overlooking the landing sites of the ships. The strong force field wall at the end of the office room let him see the chaos down below and the tight groups of his uniformed troops. He thought back to how he had arrived to this position on this storm planet and why he was tempted to break a military rule.
