“What the hell? Do you really think I’m doing this?” Tim asked incredulously.
“Yeah, Timmy, you will.”
“My name isn’t Timmy. And—”
Gavin cut him off with a look.
“You’re in some deep shit here. You will cooperate because if you don’t, I’ll come for you in the night and fuck you up beyond all recognition. Your buddy here is diverting US aid from his homeland to his own personal piggy bank and the Pakistanis want to know where their money is. His buddies are involved in government theft, so you’re also involved in laundering stolen Department of Defense funds, to the tune of six hundred fifty million dollars and change,” Gavin snarled.
Tim’s eyes widened and he visibly blanched.
“Wait a minute! You can’t lay that on me! I don’t know anything about that—”
“It doesn’t matter, dumbass, your fingerprints are all over this right now. Not Rivera’s, not Bakri’s, yours. They fucked you, Timmy. And if you don’t cooperate you’ll never see Texas again.”
“Fuck you! I have rights…” Tim screamed
The two men in black picked Tim up and slammed him against the wall as Gavin walked up to him. They increased their hold as Tim struggled. Gavin came nose to nose with Tim.
“You ain’t got shit right now. You’re working with terrorists. That makes you an enemy combatant on US soil and that gets you a one-way ticket to Gitmo, motherfucker.” Gavin growled.
Tim’s shoulders slouched in defeat. Gavin had no mercy.
“So, yeah, Timmy, you will help. Because if you don’t, when I’m done with you there’s three more just like me waiting for their turn. One of them is a foreign government and there’s no such thing as civil liberties in Pakistan. We’ll just keep passing you around. You’re getting fucked no matter what, Timmy,” Gavin snarled.
Tim visibly blanched. Gavin leaned in.
“I call you Timmy to be nice. I don’t think you want me calling you what Amy calls you.” Gavin paused and Tim slightly turned his head. “She calls you Tiny Tim. Maybe that’s why you could never make her wet. You need a dick to make a woman wet.”
Gavin turned and walked out of the interrogation room and headed to his office where David was waiting.
“Nice piece of work, badass. Where’d you learn that little trick? Gitmo?” David asked.
“It was all I could do not to crush his fucking skull.”
“While you were winding it up, I called your FBI buddy in San Antonio. It turns out Bakri wasn’t even on the radar. Your FBI boss was happy, said it was the best piece of intel they’ve had in a while. He wants you to go straight to San Antonio in the morning. He said he’ll call you with the details. You let me know the outcome of that meeting,” David said.
“Yeah, okay.”
“By the way, who were those guys in black?” Ortiz asked as he got up to leave.
“SEAL buddies of mine from Randolph. They’re here for a visit. They’re on their way back from Corpus Christi NAS.” Gavin locked the folder in his desk.
Gavin left out the part about all of them being involved in a training operation for the past three days and Gavin was their senior NCO. He had been on reserve duty this weekend. Ortiz stopped and when he turned Gavin could see his face was purple with rage.
“What the fuck are you doing? They can’t be involved in this! You’ll get me fired, dumb ass!” Ortiz screamed.
“Not if I can cover my tracks.” Gavin walked out of the office.
Gavin got home and walked through the garage door into the house. The house was quiet. It was after midnight. He knew Amy was already sleeping. It was an especially cold day today. The house was warm and there was note on the counter where he usually laid his keys. It was in Amy’s neat handwriting.
Dinner in the fridge if you’re still hungry when you get home.
Love you! Amy
Gavin smiled as he put the note under his keys. He was tired and it was too late to eat anything. He just wanted to snuggle up to Amy and sleep. He had a trip scheduled to figure out how they would handle Bakri and the money. But the trip wasn’t for the FBI. He would be meeting Dixie and Rock at Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base in Virginia where they would decide what the Pentagon and the FBI needed to know. The trip was scheduled for next Monday. Rock assured Gavin he would be home by Thursday.
Gavin stopped and thought a moment. He wanted to do something special for Amy. Williamsburg, Virginia, was close to DC and would do the trick nicely. It was right after the holidays, so it wouldn’t be so crowded, but it would still be decorated. He was sure she would love it. If she could get off work, maybe they could spend a long weekend there.
The ring! Gavin thought about the ring he had for her at his house. That would be the perfect time to give it to her. After their talk on Christmas morning, he felt much better about giving it to her. She had expressed some of her fears and concerns. He could tell it had been a difficult thing for her because some of what she had to say involved his reaction to situations involving Tim. She was afraid of what Gavin would do.
After Christmas, they never seemed to have a spare moment and he didn’t want to just hand her the ring. Gavin wanted to do something special. He wanted Amy to feel like he did about this serious turn in their relationship. It was genuine and heartfelt. Planning a trip to Williamsburg and taking time to be alone when he asked her to marry him would drive home the thoughtfulness of this proposal.
Gavin walked into the bedroom and undressed. He slid quietly under the covers and snuggled up to Amy. He closed his eyes and let his hands lightly run over her body. She stirred.
“Gavin?” Amy asked sleepily.
“Yes, honey.” Gavin pulled her close.
Gavin buried his face into the back of her neck, her long, soft, chocolate hair encasing him. She was so warm and soft. He took a deep breath and took in her scent. She smelled so good. He could feel his cock immediately respond. She turned and faced him. He kissed her slowly and she pulled him close, wrapping her leg around him.
“Is everything okay?” Amy asked gently.
“Yes, baby, its fine.”
Amy was so sweet and kind. A lump caught in Gavin’s throat. The ugly things Tim had said about her came screaming back into his mind. He wanted nothing more than to snap the little prick in two.
“I love you,” Gavin said against her skin.
Those words would never make up for all the hell Tim had put her through. Gavin was determined to spend his lifetime sure as hell trying. He ached inside when he thought about all the pain Amy had lived with for so long.
“I love you so much,” Gavin repeated.
“I love you, too,” Amy said drowsily.
Gavin took his time with Amy. He moved his hands up and down her back. He ran his lips over her throat. She was dressed in one of her satin nightgowns, so bit by bit he removed every stitch of clothing to get to her smooth skin. He worked his way down, tossing the sheets away, her nipples hardening at the sudden change in temperature. He bent down and suckled her slowly, lapping her nipples into hard points. She arched against him, feeding and encouraging him. He could feel her raking her nails across his back as he moved downward, kissing that sensitive belly. She let out a gasp.
Amy pulled at Gavin. He worked his way back up to her mouth. She pushed him onto his back and worked her way down his throat, kissing his Adam’s apple. Amy moved down his chest and licked his nipples. A quiver of delight ran through him.
“Amy, honey.” Gavin ran his fingers through her hair.
Amy reached down and took Gavin’s cock in her hand and started caressing the length of him. He was rendered helpless because he melted whenever she took over like this. She seemed to have intuitively known how to touch his cock just the right way. Amy continued kissing him as she moved lower.
Gavin was always surprised at her boldness. Amy had only been like this one other time. He thought about her Christmas present and hoped he was in for the same treat. She had learned h
ow to read him and responded by giving him what he needed. He was lost in the blissfulness of her touch. It was so erotic and exciting. Her next move almost sent him off the bed. Amy licked the head of his cock.
“Amy, honey, what are you doing?” Gavin gasped.
“What you do to me. I thought you liked this?” Amy ran her tongue along his shaft.
“Amy…” Gavin groaned.
The sheer curtains in the bedroom allowed the light of the full moon to spill into the room. He propped himself up on his elbows. She looked up at him as she took the length of him into her mouth. He locked stares with her as he watched her move up and down his cock, looking at him with her big brown eyes. He finally had to throw his head back and moan.
“Oh, baby. That feels so good.” Gavin groaned.
Amy licked Gavin’s shaft and moved her way back up his body. Straddling him, she guided his cock into her wet cunt, taking the length of him inside her. She put her hands behind her and rested them on his thighs, giving him full access to her body. He lay back and ran his hands up and down her ribs. She started riding him, gyrating her hips against his pelvis. He moved his hands to her breasts and played with her nipples, making her gasp.
Gavin was holding out as best he could, but Amy was quickly pushing him to the brink. She moaned and he could feel her clamp down on him, and he also let go. He grabbed her hips as he pushed himself deep inside her and felt the muscles in his back spasm as he came. She grabbed his thighs and panted as she came, as well. She slowly released him and smiled down at him.
“How was that?” Amy asked in her sultry voice.
Gavin reached for Amy and pulled her against his chest.
“Pretty damn good!”
Amy slid from him and snuggled next to him. Gavin closed his eyes, recalling once more what Tim had said to him.
She can’t even fuck right…Now, Gavin wanted to laugh out loud at the comment. Tim had no idea what he had in Amy because he never appreciated and saw her as a sensual woman. The hell she can’t! She fucks like a dream and she gives pretty good head, too, he reflected triumphantly as he drifted off to sleep, gripping Amy to him.
Chapter 16
Naval Special Warfare Group 2
Secure Briefing Room 2-C
Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base, Virginia
January 28, 2008/1029 Zulu
“Admiral on deck!” Lieutenant Gamez exclaimed as Dixie walked into the room.
The entire room stood and snapped to attention
“As you were. You assholes don’t mean it anyway,” Admiral Campbell said as he walked into the conference room.
There was light laughter as the men in the room all took their seats. Gavin looked around the room. It felt good to be home with his SEAL family. Despite the fact that he had left the military voluntarily, he hadn’t realized how much he missed it.
“Well, I see you’ve decided the grass wasn’t greener on the other side, huh, badass?” Admiral Campbell said with some amusement.
“Someone made me an offer I couldn’t refuse, sir,” Gavin quipped.
“Fuck with me and I’ll make you full time again,” Dixie said with an evil grin.
“Admit it, badass, you missed us,” Captain Shane “Switchblade” O’Conner teased.
Captain O’Conner had been Gavin’s commanding officer during his time with SEAL Team 2.
“Yeah, like a fucking hemorrhoid…sir,” Gavin retorted.
The entire room broke out in laughter. The good-natured bantering ended as the men turned their attention to the monumental task ahead. They started deciphering the intelligence that had started this situation they were facing. Gavin gave a quick history of how things had started.
“Three years ago I was sent to Quantico by the FBI to pick up some intel that a Marine ForceRecon team had picked up on a laptop during a raid in Fallujah. I worked on the case with the major whose Recon team had confiscated the computer…” Gavin started.
Gavin went on to detail how after two years they found the cell that was carrying out the plan to gain access to military bases as well as personnel records. The room was silent as Gavin detailed the case and how it was resolved.
“Some of the intel the FBI confiscated in the raid at the Virginia site was investigated and followed to Texas. It seems like these terrorist cells are using existing crime syndicate resources to expand and hide their operation. That takes the mission away from the military and gives it to the FBI and Homeland Security. These syndicates figured that they needed to move out of the big city and into small-town America where the police are understaffed and don’t have the resources that places like New York City have,” Gavin said.
“Smart…” Dixie shrugged.
“Real smart. They know damn good and well that a small-town PD will have to call a big city and go through all kinds of bullshit to get some help. If they ever get it,” Master Chief James “JJ” Jones retorted.
“Well, the Department of Homeland Security recognized this problem and decided to create a task force using the FBI. They started sending guys like me to places like Victoria, Texas. The task force has agents all over Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and small towns in fly-over country. Especially where these crime syndicates are strong, mostly border states,” Gavin informed.
“Rock, how’s that new Joint Cyber Command coming along? Can we get eyes and ears on some of this?” Captain O’Conner asked.
“They won’t be of any use for a while. Special Warfare Group Five will be operational before Cyber Command,” Rock answered.
“Who was that Marine major, Chief Walsh?” Dixie asked.
“Reese Thompson, he was the deputy commander of ForceRecon out at Quantico. Last I heard he’s at the Pentagon and working with Langley,” Gavin said.
“I think we need to have a chat with him again. We got a lot to do boys. JJ, Rock, come with me. The rest of you start combing through that pile of shit on the table here. Since this started with Special Warfare, our mission is to come up with some kind of plan that we can advise the Department of Homeland Security on and not be directly involved in,” Dixie said.
The men in the room all understood what was being expected of them. They would not only come up with the plan but would be expected in some way, shape, or form to execute said plan, without getting caught. They gathered around the table and started breaking into smaller teams of two, each gathering a small pile of documents and breaking them down. After a few hours, Rock and JJ returned. JJ joined Gavin and Captain O’Conner as they were going over information regarding the theft of US aid to Pakistan.
“Where are we?” JJ asked as he took the empty seat next to Gavin.
“It seems as if Bakri and Mummar are related. Somehow Mummar’s company in Virginia was getting infusions of cash. The company never had a bank loan. It looks like the deposits were wire transfers from Pakistan. We figured out it was probably Bakri who was sending him the money,” Shane said.
“We didn’t know that before?” JJ asked.
“Well, we kind of did, but that wasn’t the focus of the case. We had what seemed like bigger evidence when we put them in jail,” Gavin said.
“We got a hold of that Marine major and he had some interesting developments. He’ll be spending the day with us tomorrow. I guess we missed something, big,” JJ said.
“What?” Shane asked.
“There was a flash drive left in a computer at the personnel office. The desk it was left at dealt with ForceRecon personnel records. The guy sitting at the desk never noticed it. It launched a computer virus. When they lifted prints off the drive, one of the prints was traced to one of your buddies down in Beaumont. NCIS has been working the case. They’re not sure what’s been compromised. That’s what our Marine at the Pentagon has been working to clean up. By the way, he’s a lieutenant colonel now,” JJ said.
“Shit!” Gavin said.
“What?” Captain O’Conner asked.
“Some of the intel we got from the Fallujah raid laid out a
cyberattack. That’s how that sneaky rat Ramirez-Merles fits into this. I thought maybe it was money laundering.” Gavin stood.
“Ramirez-Merles? The hacker from Panama?” Captain O’Conner questioned.
“He goes by Marco Lima now. The last time I dealt with these guys it was like this. Fucking tangled-ass mess! I had more information than I knew what to do with, just no proof. I backed my way into this to figure it out the last time.”
“What the hell? If it worked once maybe it will work again,” JJ said.
The three men started with Barki’s most recent movements. It took them the better part of two days to get all the way back to when Gavin arrested Omar and Krazi in Virginia. Midway through their second day, Lieutenant Colonel Reese Thompson joined them and brought them up to speed on the virus that had apparently compromised ForceRecon personnel records.
The long days paid off by late Wednesday night. Everyone was drained, but they had a plan. Dixie was briefed and he, Captain O’Malley, and JJ promptly tore it apart. The admiral very colorfully informed his men there was no way he would brief something until it was airtight. The holes were patched and strategies improved. When Dixie was briefed again on Thursday afternoon, he was pleased.
“Good work, men! It’s Miller time…” Dixie said.
The men left and made their way to the NCO Club at Little Creek. Gavin was constantly checking his watch because Amy was coming in from Corpus Christi to spend the rest of the weekend with him. Time seemed to drag that evening. Her flight was coming in at 9:00 p.m. from Houston. Of course his little nervous habit was picked up on immediately.
“What the fuck’s wrong with you? You got an appointment?” JJ demanded.
“Yes, I do.” Gavin finished his second beer.
“Oh? Where do you need to be at seven thirty in the evening?” JJ asked.
“My girlfriend is coming in at nine. We’re going to Williamsburg for the weekend.”
