Hawaiian Triple Heat [Dr. Love Shark] (Siren Publishing Ménage and More) Page 5

The woman rushed down the hall.

  “What’s wrong?”

“Well, I don’t know if the doctor told you, but my things were stolen and I don’t think I should try any of these items on without underwear.”

“Nonsense, most of the items are already paid for by the doctor. He gave me your measurements. Many doctors suggest that women do not wear underwear to allow their bodies to breathe. None of the lingerie will allow you the opportunity to wear underwear anyway.”

“What?” Rae cried, looking back at the clothing then moaned in dismay.

With a sultry laugh, Lulu was gone once again.

“Hurry up, Ms. Hooper, we have to get to the appointment,” Mateo said from the other side of the door.

She wrenched it open to face him, furious. “You can’t expect me to strut around on a stage in front of a crowd of strangers with no underwear on!” she cried.

His lurid grin and wink made her shudder with anger.

“Dress here, or dress at home, I don’t care which, but you will try the outfits on.”

  “Look, Dr. Mann, I—”

“Call me Mateo. I think it’s time we start using first names since we’ll be together for the next month or so.”

Teeth grinding together, Rae rolled her eyes. “Dr. Mann, I am not going to wear—”

The man turned his back on her, headed for the front of the store. Frustrated with the way he rudely cut her off, she followed him.

  “Wait!”

Still he ignored her and walked up to Lulu, whose expression was full of sudden concern.

“Send everything to my house. We have an appointment. Oh, and send The Rabbit, too, preferably in blue.”

“Rabbit?” Rae asked, wondering if he’d lost his mind. “Sorry, Lulu, I have to go. It was nice to meet you.”

The door closed behind her as she rushed to climb into the Jeep just as he started the ignition. Without a word, he drove off, his foot heavy on the pedal. Breathless, she struggled to attach her seat belt. When he stopped the Jeep for a moment to take it from her and complete the job, once again his bare arm brushed against her nipple. Rae scrunched her eyes closed, turning away from him. He was impossible.

Moments later they were at the doctor’s office. Above the door was a large sign that sported the name Dr. Piers Kaaumoana. Once he’d stopped the Jeep, Mateo stepped out and opened her door for her. She just stared up at him, butterflies suddenly filling her belly as she realized she was going to have an internal.

“I don’t have any health plan to cover this.”

Her stalling tactic didn’t work though.

“Come!” he ordered, reaching in to undo her belt.

“Stop that!” She shoved his arm away before he could stir her already heightened senses any further.

With a Gallic shrug, he stepped back and let her undo it herself. It was stuck solid. Though she tried to work it free, she finally gave up in frustration, shooting an irritable glare at him. Crossing her arms over her breasts, she waited for him to undo it for her, tapping her foot on the floor until he sighed and leaned in to release the latch.

“You only had to ask,” he murmured, his lips almost touching hers before he backed up again to let her out.

Embarrassed at the way the cotton dress clung to her as dampness released from her core at his nearness, she kept her back to him until he walked ahead of her into the office.

“Ah, Dr. Mann, wonderful to see you here,” the receptionist cooed, fluttering her eyelashes at him.

She looks like she came on the spot the minute he walked in. Rae felt strangely jealous. Admitting to herself that she’d done the very same thing a few minutes ago in the Jeep was not going to happen. About to walk over and sit down to let him deal with the woman without an audience, she was startled when he took her arm and began walking toward an office door.

“We’ll go see the good doctor. No need to announce us. Have a great day, Nani.”

Tittering, the woman let them go straight in.

A handsome Hawaiian looked up from his desk to smile his welcome then stood to greet them as Mateo opened the door to lead her inside. Rae wondered why the natives made her so restless, feeling another release of moisture on her inner thighs. He was just as tall as Mateo, his mixed heritage only evident in the vibrant green of his eyes and the wavy black hair. She found herself imagining that she was the filling sandwiched between the two of them, imitating some of the paintings in Mateo’s home. Shocked at her thoughts, she dropped her gaze to her hands and waited for introductions.

“Aloha, Mateo. You must be Rae Hooper. It’s nice to meet you. I’m sorry about your things being stolen. However, since that means I have the privilege of knowing you, I can’t argue with fate.”

With warm hands, he took her fingers and kissed the inside of her palm, his grin sending butterflies into riot mode in her womb, making it difficult to stand still.

Breathless, she asked, “Isn’t that a good way to get germs, Doctor?”

She found herself watching his full lips as he smiled down at her, her hand still enclosed in his.

“Of course, but I couldn’t resist such a charming visitor. Come with me and we’ll get you ready for your exam.” He walked her down the hall to a small room and opened the door for her, whispering, “I hope you won’t miss me too much while I chat with Mateo as you get ready. Please remove your clothing and put on the gown for me.”

She didn’t have a chance to turn and face him before the door closed behind her as he disappeared. Relieved that Mateo wouldn’t be present for the exam, she took off her dress and slipped on the gown. Suddenly feeling the sticky cream between her thighs, she gasped and grabbed a paper towel to wipe her entrance and inner thighs quickly before he came back. Washing her hands, she climbed up on the bed and sat on the edge, shivering despite the heat.

Throughout her entire marriage, her husband had told her she was frigid. She wondered what it was about the two men that made her feel like she had a functional volcano inside her sheath. To still her thoughts, she picked up a magazine then grimaced. Dr. Love Shark was proudly displayed with a very sexy Hawaiian woman on the front cover. Not bothering to read the title, she threw the magazine down and stared at the paintings on the walls until she realized they were by the same artist as the ones at Mateo’s home. And these ones were just as pornographic!

  Chapter 3:

  Shark Bait!

“She won’t like it if you come in with us,” Piers warned.

Mateo snickered, crossing his arms over his chest as he leaned against the wall. He always got his way, no matter what kind of woman he decided to have sex with.

“No, but I’ll do it anyway. She has to get used to both of us seeing her naked anyway, so it might as well be now. She’s not going to know that Hawaiian medical practices are similar to Canada’s. Doctor-patient confidentiality and all, she’ll allow me in. Just tell her the nurse is off today and you have to have someone in the room as witness to protect you from a malpractice suit.”

Piers laughed low in his throat. “You are devious. What is it about her besides her obvious assets that attracts you to her? She’s not like your average conquest.”

Scratching his brow, Mateo thought about the question for a moment before his slow grin widened.

“I think that’s just it, Piers. She’s different, and she claims she doesn’t want anything to do with me. I don’t recall having such a challenging woman as a lover before. I’ve decided that she will be my lover, I promise you. By tomorrow she’ll have fallen under my spell.”

“Man, you’re the same as you were in high school. You always think you’re the only man on Earth who can attract any woman you want. I hope she knocks your ego down a few notches. I have a feeling she’s the one to do it, too.”

Barely registering the playful punch Piers administered to his arm, Mateo followed his friend down the hall and knocked on the door.

  * * * *

“Come in!” Rae said loud enough for the
doctor to hear, bracing herself for him to laugh at the fact that she wore no panties. She’d have had to take them off anyway for the exam.

When the door opened admitting not one doctor, but the two men, she balked, shaking her head as she watched Mateo’s calm expression.

“Get out!” she snapped, pulling the gown down lower on her thighs.

“I’m sorry, Rae, but I have to be here. The nurse isn’t here and—”

  “Like hell! You—”

“Wait, wait, wait, before you two come to blows, I asked Mateo to come in here with us to protect my credibility. I had no idea you’d be so upset. Mateo, please, you’ll have to leave and I’ll just have to take my chances that she won’t sue me.” With an expression of regret, the doctor pointed toward the door.

“Sue you? What do you mean?”

“Well, I can’t give you an exam without a witness to say that I didn’t molest or rape you. You know how it is these days with people. They’re always out trying to make a buck. Out, Mateo,” he ordered.

“Wait!” Taking a deep breath, she studied the doctor’s innocent expression then found the same one on Mateo’s face before finally coming to a decision. “Okay. He can stay, but he’d better keep his hands to himself and sit in that chair away from me. He’s not looking at my privates!”

With a shrug, Mateo sat down and picked up a magazine, flipping through the pages. He murmured, “You’ve seen one pussy, you’ve seen them all.”

Stunned at his crass comment, she tensed and turned to look at him, but he already appeared to be focused on the magazine.

As he pulled the latex gloves on, Piers said, “This might be a little uncomfortable, but I have to be thorough. Thank you for allowing your friend to stay with you.”

“He’s not my friend,” she grumbled without looking at either man. Her face felt like it was on fire.

“Okay. Would you please lie down, Ms. Hooper?”

Piers took his time setting up the lamp, placing a headband with a large magnifying glass attached on his head. Unlike the doctors who did her Pap tests at home, he didn’t use the open-up-and-say-ah tool she’d come to detest to see inside her channel but felt around with his fingers, reaching in to test the walls of her vagina.

If it hadn’t been for the impersonal expression on his face, she’d have thought he was enjoying himself. Rae cried out in shock when he hit a particular spot that sent a shockwave through her, making her hips jerk off the bed. She tried to sit up, but he pulled his fingers out immediately, placing a hand on her shoulder to make her stay put.

“Sorry, Ms. Hooper, I must have hit a sensitive area. You seem to be in perfect health. I just have a few questions for you. When was the last time you were sexually active?”

Mortified, Rae bit her lip and shot a glance at Mateo, but he seemed engrossed in his reading, flipping a page without looking up.

  “Two years,” she muttered.

  “Pardon me?”

Clearing her throat, she spoke a little louder, still trying to avoid allowing Mateo to hear her. “I said, two years.”

“Two years?” he asked aloud, frowning. “I guess that leaves out pregnancy,” he muttered, looking at a chart on his clipboard and writing.

Rae cringed at his statement, wanting to curl into a ball and hide in a hole.

After he placed the clipboard down, Piers lifted her gown, revealing the small hibiscus tattoo on her hip. She’d bought it the week before while on vacation with her friend. It was an inch long and rested just above her bikini line.

“Beautiful workmanship, it must have been done by Don Lee.”

“You know him?” she asked, surprised.

“Yes, he’s my cousin on my father’s side, twice removed. I’m related to nearly every Hawaiian native on the island in one way or another.” As he spoke, he pressed his fingers down on her abdomen, his eyes focused on the ceiling as he worked.

Not sure what he was looking for, Rae was stunned when he lifted the gown higher, exposing her breasts. Once again she looked over to make sure Mateo wasn’t watching. His frown offered relief. He seemed to be reading something serious.

Piers’s fingers moved over her breasts, gently probing her nipples. She nearly moaned as she felt another discharge leave her vagina when her muscles clenched and unexpected desire shot through her. Closing her eyes tight, she prayed he’d finish soon.

  “Does something there hurt?”

His tone was taut, as though he were holding something back. Her eyes flew open to meet his. “No. Did you find something wrong?” Worried now, she studied his serious expression.

“No, not at all, Ms. Hooper, as a matter of fact you appear to be a healthy young woman. Do you practice safe sex?”

“Um…sure I do.” Heat warmed her cheeks.

“How many partners do you have in a year?”

“What do you mean by that? I already told you I haven’t—well, I’ve been abstinent for a while.”

His question was strange, not something a doctor would normally ask. She sat up, pulling the gown down into place. Embarrassed as she shifted on the tissue paper and felt her creamy wetness on her thighs, she closed her eyes once again.

“I was true to my ex while we were married, though I can’t say the same for him. I’m frigid, and I don’t tend to date much.”

“I sincerely doubt that you’re frigid. You have a woman’s body that’s very sensitive to the touch, as you noticed during the exam.”

Can this get any more humiliating? Rae shot a quick glare at Mateo, wondering why he wasn’t laughing his head off.

“I’m going to give you a Pap smear and blood test to rule out any issues.”

Rae flushed, glancing over at Mateo. He ignored her, thankfully.

Once the testing was done, the doctor peeled off his latex gloves and washed his hands before turning to face her once again.

“We’ll leave you, and you can get dressed. Meet us in my office when you’re done. You’re fine, I’m happy to say. I hope you enjoy the rest of your stay. The results will be in by late tomorrow. Mateo prefers to have them rushed.”

He had to nudge Mateo to get his attention, much to her relief. She watched them leave, the door closing with a mild thud behind them.

“Strange,” she murmured, shuddering as she recalled the shock that had gone through her pelvis when he’d touched a spot inside her canal. She wondered what it was that was so quick to respond when her husband couldn’t get so much as a sneeze out of her.

“Too bad I can’t reach it or I’d do it again.” Maybe I should buy myself a toy or two and try.

  * * * *

  “She’s perfect,” Mateo said, grinning.

“Very sensitive. Your audience will be enthralled.”

“I don’t even care about the audience. I can’t wait to have dessert tonight. You’ll be coming for dinner?”

“I wouldn’t miss it for the world. Did you buy her a bathing suit?”

Mateo laughed wickedly. “Would I miss a chance to get her into the pool naked?

Piers nodded to Mateo to let him know that Rae was coming toward them and changed the subject.

“It was nice to see you, Mateo.” Standing, he smiled. “It was a pleasure meeting you, too, Ms. Hooper.”

Avoiding Piers’s gaze, she nodded. “Thanks. It was nice to meet you, too.”

By the look on her face, she didn’t mean a word of it. Once the men had shaken hands, Mateo walked her out to the Jeep.

  * * * *

The heat had intensified, and the air was heavy with humidity as though building up for a shower. Clouds thickened on the horizon in a dark mass of gray billows.

“I think we might get rain later. We’d best have lunch before heading back. I’m so hungry I could eat a shark,” he said, chuckling at his own humor.

She didn’t answer or even look at him. Her mood had dampened after the exam. In silence, she watched the road as he drove without even seeing the scenery. They stopped at a secluded glade
that overlooked the ocean hundreds of feet below. He told her that it was an area seldom used by tourists. Mateo had pulled off the main road many miles back onto a road that wasn’t paved and looked rough. When he stopped the Jeep, he took out the blanket and picnic basket before opening her door.

“Do you need help with the buckle?” he asked in a gentle tone.

At first she shook her head but once again struggled with the mechanism until, in defeat, she allowed him to do whatever he wanted. This time when he reached over her, he didn’t brush over her breast. She was surprised and narrowed her eyes, wondering if he’d done it on purpose before. The perfect gentleman, he took her hand and led her to a spot by the cliffs that looked down on the churning water below.

“This spot is my favorite on the whole island,” he said.

  “I can see why.”

Rae stared out over the barrier reef at the many colors of greens and blues in the water. She watched in fascination as white froth tipped the waves that curled toward shore, crashing against the rocks below. Thunder rumbled in the distance, but Mateo seemed unconcerned as he set out their meal on the colorful woven blanket.

While the good doctor set up their lunch, Rae remained by the cliffs and watched the sea, lost in thought. She wondered how she was going to get her passport documents without the help of her ex. Just the thought of contacting him made her nauseous, yet there was no one else she could think of who could access them since he still had the key to her apartment.

Dr. Mann had given her a way to earn her keep, but he had no idea how unresponsive she was in the bedroom. Lance Hooper had spent the past three years forcing his unwanted attentions on her unresponsive body, hurting her most of the time. He had, however, succeeded in pleasing himself. Afterward he would roll on his side away from her and fall into a deep sleep to snore his head off while she suffered in pain. When she’d found out he had women outside of their marriage, she’d told him she was done with sex, relief filling her.

Their relationship had been doomed from the start. Her mother had told her that the man only wanted her as a trophy wife to show off her voluptuous body to his colleagues. Since Lance spent much of their time together pointing out her faults, she doubted her mother’s theory.
