Since there was no reason not to speak to the gentle woman and her obnoxious husband was nowhere to be found, Rae nodded.
“I’ll get us something to drink from the bar. What would you like?”
“That’s okay, Ester, I don’t feel much like drinking this morning.”
“Oh, heaven’s sakes, I meant a drink of something like punch or soda. I seldom drink anything. Boe doesn’t like it when I do.”
“I’ll have some orange juice then,” Rae said and turned to get it from the bar.
“No, why don’t you sit down at that table in the shade and I’ll get them. It won’t take but a minute.”
The poor woman appeared so eager to please that Rae smiled and agreed.
“I’ll save you a spot.” Her soft laughter was met with Ester’s since they were the only two people beside the pool as yet.
Once she’d made herself comfortable, Rae stared off into space and wondered what she could do to fix her situation. A few minutes later, Ester returned and gave her a beaming smile that took years off her life. She seemed so carefree out from under the weight of her husband’s regard and even looked pretty.
“Thank you,” Rae said as she took the drink and sipped it from the straw. “Wow, is that tart.”
“The bartender said the fruit was a little early for the season. He suggested we put some sugar in it.”
Feeling better than she had earlier, Rae snickered.
“I think he’s right. I’ll go…”
“I have some in my purse. I saved it from the flight. Boe always makes sure I save every nickel I can in case we need it someday. Oh, that’s what I wanted to talk to you about.” Ester reached over and dumped a packet of sugar into the orange juice, and then Rae stirred it in and took another sip.
“Much better. Thank you, Ester.”
“You are welcome. You are so forgiving, Miss, I wanted to apologize for my husband’s behavior. He can be rather rude at times, but I love him so much, it’s hard not to forgive him.”
Frankly, I’d likely kill him after a day of marriage.
With Ester being so kind to her, Rae felt bad about thinking so negatively about the woman’s husband and sipped on her drink. The cool air in the shade did much to clear her mind. When she looked down at her arm, she realized she’d been in the sun too long. Damn, that’s going to hurt!
“Ester, please don’t feel you need to apologize for him. There is no need. Consider it forgotten. Whew, it’s getting hot. I should get back to the house.”
“Let me walk you. Finish your drink, dear. Waste not, want not. My husband always tells me that there are starving children in the world who would kill to have what we have so I should appreciate it.”
Though Rae felt the need to roll her eyes at the idiot’s viewpoint, she did as Ester bid and finished her drink then stood.
“Thank you for having a drink with me, dear. I really felt badly about my husband’s attitude toward you. He’s usually a lot more personable.”
I’ll bet.
“It was my pleasure, Ester, I— Funny, suddenly I feel a bit strange.” Dizziness caused Rae to stumble.
“Oh, dear. You must have heat stroke from that sunburn. Let me walk back to your lodgings with you.”
Ester slipped her arm through Rae’s, and the women began the walk along the path. Before long, Rae felt a sense of euphoria, and her pussy began to clench as though overstimulated like when Mateo looked at her with those sensual eyes of his. She shook off the image and tried to focus.
“I…don’t feel right. Something…”
“My, oh, my. Come back to my room. It’s just down this path. I’ll get you a glass of water to cool you down.”
Led along, Rae began to lean her weight on the thin woman’s arm and fought to place one foot in front of the other. Everything became blurry. When she closed her eyes, she stumbled.
“I’ve got you, dear. You certainly did overdo it when you were tanning this morning. You have such soft white skin. It’s no wonder you’re feeling under the weather. Here we go. Let’s get you inside out of the heat.”
The door closed with a dull thud that echoed in Rae’s mind. What seemed like a lifetime later, she lay on a bed squirming as her body awoke and her pussy called out for Mateo’s hard staff to fill her. She moaned as she heard whispered words and felt fingers caressing her as they removed her bikini.
“Mateo?”
“No, sweetheart. It’s your new mistress. You’ve been a naughty girl and must be punished, but first, we’ll have to take some photographs and pose you. We’ll make a fortune off this one, Boe.”
“I can’t wait to get my hands on her, my love. When can I touch her?”
“Patience, slave. You will do as I bid, or you’ll not touch her once. I’m ready. Get to the camera and start shooting.”
Her head lolling on the mattress, Rae opened her eyes just long enough to see Ester transformed into something from a BDSM club. She wore bright red leather as she straddled Rae’s belly and leaned forward to secure something around her neck.
“There you go, my precious. Now you have your own collar. You look beautiful in black with rhinestones, and your nipples are just the right color. They’ll show up great for the camera. Start shooting, Boe.”
“Nooooo…” Wildfire and passion raced through Rae’s veins as she realized she’d been drugged. Now she was at their mercy, and no one would know where to find her.
When a whip came down on her breast, she whimpered, unable to stop the torture. Once again, she was being punished, though this time she didn’t want to enjoy it. She vaguely heard a soft click, click, click and heavy panting coming from…she wasn’t sure where.

“We walked the entire beach, and no one remembered seeing Rae until we got to the end. The woman said she was headed back toward the resort.”
“Piers, don’t you think we would have passed her by?”
“Look, Mateo, we don’t have time to argue the point. Let’s ask around the pool area. Maybe she stopped for a drink.”
“It’s early. Why would she—”
“Let’s just check it anyway. There is nowhere else for her to go! I have a bad feeling about this.”
“You’re right, Piers. She hasn’t been out of my sight or yours for more than a few minutes since she arrived.”
The two men hurried up to the bar.
“Aloha, Benny. Did you see a woman about yay high, with gorgeous brown hair and a body to die for?” Mateo asked, breathless from the run.
“You just described half of the women here, sir. Not sure I know which one you mean.”
Piers put his hands on the bar and leaned forward, determined to find her. “She was at the luau last night, dancing alone. You couldn’t have missed her.”
“Oh, yes, she was here a little while ago with a guest, but she walked away with the woman.”
“Can you describe the guest?” Mateo felt the panic rise. Something wasn’t right.
“Sure. Not too pretty, blonde hair, her husband is that creep who has a loud mouth who hits on all the women even with his wife present. Funny, she was sober when she got here but looked like she could barely walk without the woman helping her when they left. She only drank orange juice.”
“Shit! Piers, we have to find her. If that lout gets a hold of her, she could be in big trouble. Benny, call the security office and find out the man’s room number. His name is Boe something. I can’t remember what. The wife is named Ester.”
“Yes, sir. Right away.”
While they waited, Mateo and Piers searched the area for a sign of her.
“Where could she be?”
“I don’t know, Piers, but I have a feeling she’s not in any position to protect herself from that man. Why would she go with Ester when she knows what he’s like?”
“Ester has been timid as a mouse. It’s probably nothing, but the fact that Rae has vanished scares the hell out of me.”
“Me, too. I—”
“Sir
, they are in room 240 along the Hoola path. Security will meet you there and the rest of the staff will be put on alert.”
“Thanks.”
It only took a few minutes to get to the room which was located near the pool, but it felt like a lifetime to Mateo. His gut said she was in trouble.
When I get my hands on her, I’m going to— Shit! I’ll probably drop to my knees and kiss her like mad. Damn it, why can’t I get enough of her? She’s in my head night and day, and every minute I’m away from her.
Two security men were standing near the door talking in heated conversation while they waited for Mateo and Piers. One was gesturing with his hands and nodding toward the room. The other man shrugged and said something back that Mateo couldn’t hear.
“What’s going on?”
“Sir, Cale here said he saw two women go into the room a few minutes ago. One looked like she was drunk or something.”
“Did you knock?”
“No, sir, we thought it best to wait for you.”
Mateo pressed his ear to the door and heard what sounded like someone being whipped and moaning. He stepped back and slammed his shoulder into the door. It crashed open, revealing three people.
Instead of Boe being on top of Rae whipping her, it was Ester! Her appearance had changed drastically into an erotic BDSM diva, with whips, fishnet stockings, and a kinky outfit that showed curves no one had seen outside the room.
“Get off her!” Mateo shouted and reached for the whip before it descended.
Ester screamed and leapt back at the power of Mateo’s anger directed at her. He loomed over the quivering woman while he fought the urge to beat her with her own weapon. Boe was being held back by the two guards while Piers hovered over Rae, checking her pupils and pulse. She was writhing on the bed in what appeared to be the throes of passion, oblivious to their voices.
“What is this all about?” Mateo growled at Ester.
“It’s just a harmless video for our personal use. We weren’t going to do anything with it. She’s just so beautiful, we had to have her.”
The woman’s helpless act didn’t fool Mateo. He circled her neck with his hand and pushed her up against the wall. “Did he touch her?”
“She wouldn’t let me have your bitch in heat until she had her own fun. I never laid a hand on her.” The snarled comment redirected Mateo’s ire.
Another guard entered the room.
“Hold onto this one. I’m going to see what they were doing on the camera.”
“Don’t! That’s our personal property. You can’t touch it!” Ester shouted, anything but meek now as she struggled against the restraint of the guard.
For a couple of minutes, everyone in the room was silent except for Rae who continued to squirm and cry out in the throes of euphoria.
When Mateo looked back at Ester, she stopped struggling and returned to the quiet woman he’d first met. The game was over, and she obviously knew it.
“Mateo, get someone to bring my medical bag from my office.” Piers snapped.
Mateo shouted, “What the hell did you give her?”
Ester’s terrified voice cried out, “Ecstasy. It was just one pill. She’s fine.”
Piers swore. “That shit can kill, even after just one dose. I’m going to call the police, Mateo, and then I need to get her to the house where I can monitor her.”
Once he’d placed the call, Piers lifted Rae in his arms and carried her up to the main house while Mateo stayed behind to take care of business. Mateo watched them leave with a sense of fear only a little greater than the burning anger of jealousy as his friend took Rae from his sight.

The sun streamed into the bedroom through the patio doors as Rae awoke, disoriented for a moment. Was it all a dream, or had it truly happened?
She looked down and saw the red harness and shoes scattered on the carpet. Wiping her lips, she found a smear of red lipstick and shuddered. What had happened? It was the strangest thing. One minute she’d been talking to Ester, and the next she was moaning and writhing on the bed hearing a clicking sound. She recalled a loud bang, shouting, and a glimpse of Mateo’s angry face staring down at her.
What did I do to make him so furious?
When Piers had picked her up, she practically begged him to take her right there and then, craving his body like never before. It was all she could do to keep her hands and lips off him as she hung in his arms like a rag doll, her head lolling back and forth as erotic images of him and Mateo rushed through her mind.
On fire with need, desire unquenched, she’d come to only long enough to hear him shouting for Piers to check her over. Though her vision was blurred, she saw Piers’s kind eyes held concern.
A blur, everything was a blur as she lay in Piers’s arms listening to the disjointed words. Nothing made sense except the need to have her men make wild passionate love to her until she screamed for mercy.
“Mate…o, Piers…I want,” she murmured against Piers’s neck.
“Shhh, Rae. I’m going to take care of you.”
“But…”
Without another word, she felt Piers’s comforting arms around her as she floated on a cloud of rapture as though she were a feather.
“Piers…I lo…I need.”
“Hush, sweetheart. I’ll take care of you.” He raised his voice to someone. “Run ahead and tell Moki we’re coming. She’ll know what to do.”
“I didn’t do anything wrong. Why am I…punished?” Her jumbled words began to slur and blend like everything else around her.
“Rae, can you tell me what you remember?”
“Sleep, beach…Ester brought juice…talked. I need you inside me, fuck me, Piers.” She thought she heard an agonized groan that sounded like her own. “Heard man’s voice… Mateo’s mad at me.”
“He’s not angry with you. He’s furious at those two fools for drugging you and trying to…never mind. We’ll talk later.”
“Heard clicks. Don’t remember—” Her head lolled against his chest. “You smell so good, Piers. So sorry…can’t marry. You’re too perfect.”
“What?”
His voice faded as Rae fell into a world of sensation where not even words could interfere. She could sense every touch, smell, sensation of the wind on her skin, but the murmur of sound disappeared before it even started.
* * * *
“She’s going to be okay. It will take a few hours for it to get out of her system, but her pulse is strong and she’s semi-awake now. I’ll have to come back in a while to check on her. My patient is in labour again, and this time it looks like it’s a go.”
“Talk to you later, Piers. We need to discuss—”
“Mateo, we’ve said all we’re going to say about it. I’m done. Have a great life with her. She’s a fool to want you, but if you hurt her in any way, I’ll kill you.”
Rae could hear the sound of the door slamming as she lay in Mateo’s big bed, halfway between reality and euphoria. Whatever they’d given her, it was finally wearing off. She fought to open her eyes but still couldn’t. The smell of Mateo filled her senses as she lay curled up on his bed, her nose tucked in beside his pillow, groaning as another rush of desire burned through her pussy.
“Mat…eo.”
Her whisper went unheard as he kept talking to someone.
“Did you have something to tell me, Moki?”
“Yes, Jimmy told me about what you did, hiding her belongings and passport. He dropped off her suitcase, and I hid it in the hallway, though I think I should just give it to her so she can go home. You used her.”
“I gave her only what she wanted, Moki. You of all people should know I’m not a monster. If she’d just gone home, she wouldn’t have found out she was full of passion.”
“You are wrong. You practically kidnapped her as well as almost costing Jimmy his job and his marriage. His wife was livid with him for storing the poor woman’s bag at their house. He could have been fired for that. They have childre
n to feed.”
Rae was aware enough to realize what Moki was saying and fought back a gasp. Anger began to stir as she realized that Mateo had been lying to her.
“How long has he had the bags?”
“Moki—”
“How long, Mateo?”
“They were found the day after she arrived. Though there was no money left, everything else was intact, including her passport.”
“So all this time she could have just gone home?”
“Look, I don’t have to answer to you or anyone else, Moki. You’re my housekeeper, not my conscience.”
“You apparently need no one but yourself, Mateo. Tell her the minute she wakes up, or I will.”
“You won’t tell her anything. It’s my choice when she leaves.”
“Then I quit!”
His voice changed into his Love Shark tone, teasing, cajoling Moki to cooperate.”You can’t quit on me, sweetheart. I need you.”
“You don’t need anyone, Mateo. You always say that whenever you find a new woman and share them with Piers, and it’s true. You’ll never admit you need to have your heart filled with love instead of your pants filled with lust. I’m ashamed of you. Good-bye.”
“Moki, wait!”
Another door slammed. Rae felt pain blaze in her heart at his betrayal. He’d used her. Right from the minute he found her at the airport, he’d used her body, her mind, and even her heart, though she’d fought that every step of the way. Tears burned behind her eyelids, and she turned her face into the pillow to hide them.
The mattress dipped beside her. Warm fingers brushed over her cheek.
Low and soft, he whispered, “I told you, I’d only take a willing woman to bed. I meant that from the start. I have no interest in love. It’s a fallacy. It doesn’t exist. Men and women who say that they are in love are just kidding themselves.”
He continued to brush her hair with his hand while she pretended to be asleep. She wanted to hurt him like he’d hurt her, but the only way she could imagine doing so was to hit him below the belt where he couldn’t fight back.
She began to stretch a little, moaning softly into the pillow as she acted like she was just awakening from sleep. A plan had formed in her now-clearing mind, and she struggled to hide the bitterness from her expression so he wouldn’t know she was onto him.
