I just did. I noticed it when I tried to set up the channel in JIT Slack.
There’s still time to change if there’s an equally suitable title that can be used instead. I agree, it’s not a big deal, but it’s already caused a little bit of confusion in JIT. Since I only remember covers and not titles, I wouldn’t know if I read the books back to back.
Now, while this was happening, in the background Chris and Lee are reaching out to Ell Leigh Clarke to see if she is ok with a similar title. I found this amusing as he is very quick to say something that means ‘I think we screwed up’ but makes it funnier (to me.)

@ellleighclarke and @michael As we all know, Lee and I often have our heads stuck firmly up our own asses. Today Steve message us to tell us that "Rebirth" is already one of @ellleighclarke's books. We slapped ourselves on the forehead and scramble for another title.
Just out of respect, I wanted to make sure that both of you would be OK with our latest ROM book being titled "Reborn." It's close, but not the same. Functionally, I think the AOM/AOE are distanced enough that there won't be market confusion. But still, I want all to feel good about it. So, really, let us know if you think the titles would be too close...

Now, when I read this do you know what the most important aspect I took out of this?
No?
Well, the comment about his marriage of course. “Silence will be taken as affirmation.”
There is NO way that I would be so bold as to say if I mentioned something, and my wife said nothing in response, that meant affirmation. So, I think Chris is a lot further along in the how-to-handle-marriage-relationships than I am.
Or, he just gets into trouble a lot more with his wife.
It’s one of these.
Today, I drove from Las Vegas to Los Angeles to meet with my mom - who had a hard time believing I did this without an ulterior motive. It just shows how what you did as a child can come back to haunt you forty years later.

During this LOOOONNG trip, I was listening to Love Lost, the third book in the Kurtherian Gambit series.
And I freaking loved it!
When we started the audio project for this book (a year ago), I couldn’t listen to my own books. Now, the time has been long enough that I am enjoying the stories almost like a new listener.
It is rather cool!
Emily Beresford is LOVED by the fans. I am now removed enough from writing those books that when she picks a voice for a character that doesn’t match what I had in my mind, I can ignore my internal voice for that character and continue on enjoying the story.
So, for all of you fans who are enjoying the audio, I’m right there with you!
If you haven’t heard the stories yet, check out Hannah’s story acted by the amazing Kate Rudd who has voiced books by Jeff Wheeler, John Green (The Fault in our Stars), Bella Forest and many others. In fact, if you filter for her, it shows that she has 384 titles!
