Bowsette

“So, how does it compare?” Barkly asked.

  “Compare to what?”

“The room? You know, from one princess to the other?”

“Oh, yes, that,” she said looking around the room.

The main room was much larger than hers, and the pink theme carried over into her room, but it was more muted and accented with a lot of soft whites. Her bed had pink and white drapery over hanging four massive, white columns and pinned back at the corners. It look like some festival bed, and she wondered why in the world she had a bed like that if she wasn’t using it for getting freaky. It was a damned circle bed on top of everything else and had thirty pillows on it.

“It’s different than mine for sure, but at the Trench Kingdom, we don’t have much in the form of luxuries… you know, after the war.”

“Yeah… well… you know I would never have attacked your kingdom, Bowsette. I was sort of dumped into the middle of that war, and my side was chosen for me before I took the first Huckle Berry. I’m so sorry for believing in anything they told me about you. I think you’re kind of awesome, actually.”

“I know,” Bowsette said, thinking of what had once been. She wanted to punch herself in the tit for letting her eyes tear up.

  Pull it together, bitch.

Bowsette skipped over to Cupcake’s bed and sat down on the edge. The cover felt as soft as any fabric she’d ever touched. She grabbed a pillow, hugging it against her chest and the sheer squishy delight made her moan in pleasure. She was so taking one of these pillows home with her. The ones on her bed might as well have been sandpaper bags filled with rocks, compared to these.

“You sure know how to make a guy wish he was a pillow,” Barkly said with a wondering gaze, thumbs stuck in the tool belt.

She smiled and set the pillow down next to her. “I have to ask. What’s up with the tool belt?”

He looked down at it, peeking into a few of the compartments and then just started laughing.

“You know what’s crazy. I hadn’t even thought about why I’ve been wearing it. I mean, Cupcake said it made me more relatable as a foreigner to these lands but, really, it’s kind of stupid when you think about it.”

  “You said it, not me.”

He unbuckled the leather strap and set it on top of a pink, heart-shaped desk. “I do keep a few things in there that… well, I don’t really have a need for them anymore. It’s not like you know who is going to come back and…” Barkly stopped, probably realizing he was talking about her blood, her uncle.

“It’s okay, really,” she said and patted the spot next to her. “You got to feel this bed. It’s just about the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever touched.”

“Okay,” he said, rushing over and sitting next to her.

He bounced up and down on the bed and then felt a couple pillows. “Billowy, kind of like when I floated on this cloud once in the Cloud Kingdom.”

“You’ve been to the Cloud Kingdom?”

“Yeah, Soto and I went there. Really cool place, but the people there are a yawn. Like, literally all they want to do all day is sleep.”

“I’ve always wanted to go there.”

  “I’ll take you there.”

  “Deal.”

  Oh shit, I almost forgot.

“Hey, can I see that wooden handle thing with the metal head, in your bag? I’m curious about its function.”

  “My hammer?” he asked.

  “Yes, that’s what its called?”

He got up, and as he did, Bowsette took out a magical recording eye and attached it to the corner bedpost. Time to get things moving quicker. She knew that their absence probably hadn’t gone unnoticed and they were perhaps searching for them at that moment. She wondered where Cupcake’s room ranked on places to check for them. Plus, if she didn’t get things going, she doubted virgin Barkly would even know where to get started. She’d be happy to show him a few things though.

Barkly was back in second, presenting his hammer.

“Oh, interesting, and colder than I thought,” she said, touching the metal head on it.

“It’s for pounding stuff,” he said, gripping the shaft. “Like nails.”

“Oh really?” she asked, holding on the top of the hammer.

“I can show you.” He slid his hand up the shaft and touched her hand.

She pulled the hammer back from him and then tossed it to the side. Barkly watched it clatter on the floor, looking confused.

“Barkly, get on your knees before me.”

  “What?”

“Right here, on this floor, right now,” she said, sliding the top of her dress down just enough to show a bit of her nipples. Then she shimmied her dress up past her knees.

Barkly fell to his knees and swayed, blinking rapidly at her chest and exposed thighs.

“Stay with me, now, Barkly,” Bowsette said.

  “Sorry… I’m feeling a little… dizzy.”

“Hold onto me. I won’t let you fall.”

She took his hands and pulled him closer. “You know, it’s okay to touch me.”

He mouth closed for a moment as he swallowed. Then he raised his hands and touched her bare shoulder with his fingertips.

“You’re warm,” he said, bringing his palms down on her shoulders.

“Trench people run a little hot.”

He slowly moved down from her shoulder and touched her large breasts. For a construction worker, his hands were soft, and he had a gentle touch. A little more exploratory than sensual, but she didn’t mind him going on an investigative exploration of her for a starter. It was kind of cute, watching his face contort with each gentle squeeze.

“You’re amazing,” Barkly said. “I’ve never seen a woman quite like you.”

  “You haven’t seen anything yet.”

She pushed him and his hands back, and then slid her finger under the front of her dress, pulling down her top, so both breasts were exposed. She pushed her dress down a few inches more to give them room. She shrugged, perking her girls up and giving him a little more to look at.

Barkly gasped again and then choked. His face turned red.

  “Breathe, Barkly.”

“Can I…?” he swallowed again and took a deep breath. “Can I touch you again?”

“Barkly, I want you to touch to me.”

He hobbled forward on his knees and cupped her breasts with both hands. Firmer this time and with an eagerness behind it. She felt her heart picking up speed as he kissed her breasts and ran his tongue across her nipple.

  She moaned.

“Did I hurt you?” Barkly asked.

  “No, the opposite.”

  “Does you like this?”

“Yes, and you’re doing well with that mouth of yours. You sure you haven’t done this before?”

“I don’t know. I can’t even see straight right now.”

“Well, don’t stop then.” She pushed his head back into her breasts.

She reached forward, untucking his shirt and reaching the top button of his pants. She popped it loose with a few finger pulls and twists and then slid her fingers carefully into his pants. The tips of her fingers grazed the tip of his manhood. She was happy to find him very compatible with her. She slid her hand lower, gripped him and squeezed.

He hunched back and moaned. The motion pulled her hand off him.

“I almost…” he said, trying to catch his breath.

“It’s okay, Barkly.” She scooted to the edge of the bed, pulling her dress up more.

She was sure he could see her underwear at this point. He stared at her, and slid his hand over her thigh, giving her chills. He looked up and smiled a big dopey smile and moved up to kiss her on the mouth.

Their tongues met, and she felt his hand exploring her inner thigh and then touching her underwear. She took in a deep breath at his touch. Holy shit, she wasn’t expecting to be that into this. He rubbed her but not quite in the right spots.

“Here, let me show you,” she said and
pulled her underwear to the side, guiding his finger along her slick. Soon he followed her motion and she let go of his hand.

She moaned. Fuck yes, that’s the spot.

“Is it okay if I… kiss you down there?”

  “Yes.”

She lay back on the bed, her breasts sliding slightly to the sides. She pushed them together with her arms, making sure he got the best view of it all. He reached forward, grabbing her chest with both hands as he went down on her. His tongue explored her, hitting and missing the spot in a rhythmic motion. She moaned and grabbed at his hair, keeping him right where she wanted him.

He rose up, looking drunk, and wiped his mouth.

“Take off your pants,” she said.

  Barkly obeyed, dropping his pants.

  “Underwear.”

They fell with equal speed. She didn’t expect him to last more than a moment, but after she could—

The bedroom door creaked open, and Bowsette turned her head to see Cupcake standing in the opening, with her mouth moving with no words and eyes as wide as Banana’s hat.

“What…?” Cupcake’s word came out in a squeak and she thought she heard a high pitched sound coming from her open mouth.

She wondered if somewhere in the kingdom, dogs were barking.

“Cupcake?” Barkly jumped back, pulling his pants up and wiping his mouth.

“What the actual fuck!” Cupcake’s voice broke and the words screeched out in a scream, and she kept screaming.

Oh shit, this was not supposed to happen this way. Cupcake was supposed to be at the party below. The stupid maid. She must have told on them. Bowsette, sat up, leaving her breasts out and got off the bed as Cupcake kept screaming with her hands over her ears.

The scream shocked Bowsette, not because of the sudden screeching sound of it, but that she actually seemed pissed off. She suspected it was more about how she was going to play this to the citizens than actually caring about what Barkly was doing.

Barkly held his pants up with one hand as held out the other toward Cupcake.

“Cupcake, I can explain this,” Barkly said.

“In my bed!” The last word carried into another drawn-out scream and shaking hands. “Guards!”

She pulled out her Commanding Rod and pointed it at Bowsette.

  “Don’t shoot her!” Barkly said.

But it was too late. The magical energy had already shot out from the rod, heading straight for Bowsette.

  Chapter Four

Bowsette knew of the power of the Commanding Rod and knew that she was about to die from a woman that had apparently gone off the edge of sanity. The shot of energy rippled across the room as the concentrated part of it, curled around in a pink hue, heading straight for her.

Bowsette began to turn, exposing the shell on her back to the attack, but Barkly had other plans. The fool of a man jumped across the bed, flying through the air just feet in front of her. The energy blast smacked against him. He fell to the floor, sliding and crashing against a clothes closet next to a white window.

“Guards!” Cupcake screamed and shot again.

She ducked behind one of the bed pillars and watched it explode around her as the energy impacted it. Bits of the white column flew around the room. Bowsette jumped off the bed and shot a ball of fire at the princess. It bounced against the wall next to her, striking her sleeve. Her sleeve lit on fire, but she was beyond realizing it as she kept screaming and firing more blasts at her.

Turning her back to Cupcake, she felt the impact of one of those blasts hit her shell. It hurt but most of the energy bounced off, striking the ceiling and making the plaster rain down on her. She grabbed the magical eye off the good column and stuffed it in her pocket just as it exploded from another shot. She glanced at Barkly. He hadn’t moved and Cupcake didn’t seem to care.

“You think you can embarrass me in my own castle? I will kill you both,” Cupcake screamed, shooting another shot and hitting her desk, exploding it in a tornado of papers and chunks of wood.

Bowsette turned to face Cupcake and roared, producing a lasting fire breath. The wave of flames crashed over her, but the Commanding Rod protected her with an energy shield as the surge pushed her back into the hall. Seizing the moment, she slid down next to Barkly.

“Barkly?” She shook him, but he didn’t move. “Shit.”

She bent down and listened for his heartbeat. She breathed out in relief to hear it beating.

The hall rumbled with the sound of marching soldiers. She watched the doorway, covered in flames and shot several more fireballs blindly into the hall, watching them bounce out of sight. After the lasting breath, she didn’t have much left in her.

She looked around the room. There wouldn’t be a sneak in there and there was only one door to this room. She was trapped, or was she?

“Kill her!” Cupcake said from behind the door.

Even through the flames and smoke, she spotted the princess holding the Rod and pointing it at her. Bowsette glanced at the window and then back to the doorway. Maybe she could fight them off.

Then the soldiers dressed in pure white uniforms marched through the door, firing their guns at her. The bullets the size of her fist weren’t fast, but if they hit her on a soft part, she would be lucky to live through it. The first bullet flew by her, screaming as it spun, hitting the stone wall and exploding. Another one grazed her shoulder, tearing at her dress.

She picked up Barkly in her arms and gave one look to the princess and the commanding Rod. She had a feeling she’d be seeing both real soon. More bullets were fired and she saw a blast of energy coming at her. She moved her back, positioning herself into what seemed like a bad idea. The energy blast hit her, ricocheted off her shell and hit the window, shattering it.

“Here, we go, Barkly. Hope you’re not scared of heights.”

She ran, holding the man tight against her bare chest as she jumped from the window. Bullets flew out with her, almost hitting her horns. She floated out for a second before gravity pulled against her, sending her toward the street below.

Barkly woke up and screamed as they fell. She had counted the flights of stairs so she knew she was twenty stories up. She had never fallen that far, but it wasn’t as if she had much of a choice.

“Try to relax,” she yelled over his screams and the sound of the wind.

That didn’t help though. He kept screaming so loud it made her ears crackle. As their plummet neared the street, Bowsette turned her back and gripped Barkly tight against her chest. This was going to suck.

Her shell hit the street first and she felt the pavers cracking and breaking as she smashed into the ground. Dust flew up around them and the few people on the street screamed. The impact knocked the wind from her and she gasped for air. Her neck rested on the broken pavers and she knew there would be plenty of bruises but as she caught her breath, she thought she was going to be okay. Nothing a few shots wouldn’t cure. Unfortunately, that was going to have to wait, the guards took all her trinkets at the warp gate. Cost of entry.

She used one hand to hold Barkly and the other to get out of the ditch her impacting the ground had created. She looked up to the window and thought she could see some pink hair, floating in the air just outside the window. Cupcakes scream carried all the way down to her.

“You okay, Barkly?” she asked, but he didn’t move.

Must have passed out again. She hoped she hadn’t broken anything on him.

“What happened?” a woman wearing what looked like live flowers for a dress asked.

“Just testing the compaction here and you all failed miserably,” Bowsette said, groaning as she took a step out of the hole while carrying Barkly.

The buildings around here were a colorful affair with red, pinks, yellows, soft blues, and the occasional shades of whites mixed around in no order. Cupcakes massive castle centered on the city and towered above everything else. Most of the buildings were two or three stories high with rounded tops and square windows. A
few signs hung in front of small businesses displaying café’s or flower shops but for the most part, it looked like she landed in a high-end residential district. She got her bearings and headed toward the warp gate.

Not a few steps in and a whistle blasted in the distance. The Royal Guards were gathering. She ran by the lady, giving her a little shoulder check because she didn’t like that smug face of hers and ran into an alleyway between two red buildings. Barkly’s limp body bounced around in her arms as she ran. She wasn’t sure how long she could maintain her speed, but all she needed to do was get to the warp gate and back to her kingdom. From there, she could implement a new version of phase two of her plan.

It would help if Barkly would wake up though. She looked at his serene, unconscious face and hoped he was okay.

Another whistle blew as the alley ended. She turned down the street, away from the whistle and toward her freedom, the warp gate. The people on the street were gawking at her as she ran by and she thought that maybe it looked like she was kidnapping their resident hero or perhaps because she hadn’t had a chance to pull up her dress.

A woman smacked the man next to her for staring. Bowsette slowed down, using one hand to pull her dress up over the girls. She didn’t really have time for modesty, but she didn’t want these creepers getting a free show either. Some might have recorder eyes on her and damned if she was going to end up on some wanking video for one coin a view.

She turned another corner to find a single guard in the middle of the street. An older man that didn’t have the pristine white clothes of the guards in the castle. His whites had turned to a soft yellow, but the old bastard raised his conical gun at her. She stared at the large, funnel end of the gun. It didn’t take a young finger to pull a trigger.

  “Stop!” the guard yelled out.

She didn’t have time for this and ran right at him. He fired his massive gun and the large bullet flew out, but it only took her a split second to see that it wasn’t going anywhere near her.

The bullet, the size of her fist, slammed into a yellow dress shop, shattering a window.
