When A Bad Boy Wants Your Heart 2

I chuckled. “I told you to trust me. I’ll go get the money tomorrow then put the plan in motion afterward. I got this.”
I felt accomplished. This was something that could work as long as I had everything lined up right. Before the week was up, I planned to make City Guwop’s biggest enemy, and the chips would just have to fall where they landed.

Giselle
I sat in my car outside City’s house listening to “The Weekend” by Sza. I didn’t want to be that girl, but right now, I was in my feelings. For the last four days I’d been outside City’s house for a few hours each day trying to figure his schedule and when he would be away. I had for the most part figured it out. He left about 7:00 every other day to go to the gym then he was back at 10:00 am. Then he left an hour later and was gone most of the day until night time.
I lucked up two days ago when I saw this cleaning lady come by. I swear my heart skipped a beat when I saw her lift a loose paver on the driveway and pick up the key for the front door. That answered one of the problems I had because I had originally planned to break the back window. But now that I knew City left a spare key in that secret spot, I didn’t have to worry about broken glass.
I sang along to the song as I waited for City to leave. He had come back from the gym about forty-five minutes ago, so I knew he was about to head out again. I needed him to leave, so I could put my plan in motion.
“My man is my man is your man, this is her man too. Tuesday and Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, I just keep him satisfied through the weekend. You’re like nine to five, I’m the weekend,” I sang along, murdering the lyrics, but I didn’t care.
I don’t know what it was about this song, but whenever I heard it, I connected with it on a next level. Especially lately with all the shit I was going through with my feelings for City. If I couldn’t have all of City, I was okay with half of him. But I would prefer not to share him at all, especially not with this new girl he was running around with.
I tapped my freshly manicured nails on my steering wheel and chewed on the inside of my mouth as I waited impatiently. I was annoyed that City was making me go to such great lengths to get him back. This didn’t even make sense to me, the fact that I was literally throwing pussy at him, and he was curving me. I used to feel like we were a power couple. We would go out, and heads would turn. City just had that energy; people wanted to be around him. And because I was his woman, they automatically wanted to be around me too. Now that I didn’t have him in my life, I felt this weird emptiness. I wanted it back. But he was being stubborn and not letting me get my way, which was pissing me the fuck off.
I reached for my phone and went to Bo’s Instagram. Maybe it was slightly stalker behavior, but right after the breakup, I’d made a fake page so I could follow City’s Instagram page. Now that I knew he was with this new girl, Bo, I started following her too, just to keep tabs on her. Her last post was last night, a picture on a patio by a hot tub. I had no idea where she was, and the thought of her being in City’ house taking that picture was making me go crazy. I’d never been inside his place, so why the fuck did she get to visit? That wasn’t fair.
But I had something for her that would rock her world. I just needed this man to leave already. Another ten minutes went by before I saw his front door open. I slid down in the chair to make sure he wouldn’t see me when he left. He was busy on the phone, though, and wasn’t even paying attention to anything going on around him, much less me down the street.
He hopped in his car and drove off in the opposite direction. I waited for a good few minutes to make sure he didn’t need to circle back before I got out the car. Making my way quickly to the loose paver, I picked it up and breathed a sigh of relief when I saw the key underneath. Rushing to the front door, I pushed the key in the lock and almost fell over with happiness when it opened.
Stepping inside, I stood there for a second with my mouth open. City’s house was beautiful. I smelled him immediately. The cologne he always wore lingered in the air, and I closed my eyes and imagined he was standing in front of me. When I opened my eyes, I made sure to take in the entire room so I would remember. The house was tastefully decorated, but I could tell the furniture was expensive. It was exactly what I expected his place to look like.
I walked over to the kitchen and opened the fridge. He had orange juice, Gatorade, and bottles of Voss water on the top shelf. There wasn’t much food in there because I knew his ass didn’t cook. I didn’t want to waste time, but I didn’t know the next time I would ever be in this house again, so I didn’t want to miss anything. I walked through the dining room and looked at the family pictures on the wall. His mother was so pretty. I looked outside and saw the hot tub, which was when I realized that was the same tub that bitch Bo had posted last night. I recognized the patio furniture in the background from the picture. I felt my blood boil, so I turned around and went up the stairs to finish what I started.
She thought she was so happy now in my man’s house, sitting in the hot tub that I was supposed to be in, riding the dick I used to ride. I was about to change that real quick. I got up to City’s room and stopped at the door. The huge bed in the middle of the room looked so comfortable. I could just imagine myself snuggled into him after a night of good dick. Why did he have to be so fucking aggy? He needed to be back with me already.
I walked over to his closet just to look inside. I couldn’t help trailing my fingers over his clothes and breathing in the smell of him from the fabric. His clothes were lined up neatly, and all his sneakers were placed in the back. He was always well put together, so I would have expected nothing less.
“Okay, Giselle, get it together,” I said and walked back to the bed.
I put my handbag down on the bed and reached inside. Pulling out the condom I had opened this morning and squirting some lotion inside so it looked like it was used, I threw it under the bed. Not far enough under that it couldn’t be found, but enough so that it wouldn’t immediately be seen. Then I went over to the bed and reached for the pillow. Pressing it to my face, I smudged my foundation all over the cream colored pillowcase.
When I pulled the pillow from my face, the streaks from my make-up were visible. I put the pillow back down on the bed so the clean side was facing up. Next, I took out one of my hoop earrings and tucked it under the covers in the bed. I was a little hesitant about leaving this one because it had been a gift from City months ago, but I had to do what I had to do to get my man back. I pulled a few strands of hair from the blond weave I had in and threw them over the pillow as well.
I knew I needed to do more. Going into the bathroom, I spotted the huge tub he had beside the shower. I stripped out of all my clothes and filled the tub up with warm water. After it was filled, I got into the water butt naked and sank down inside. I hoped and prayed that I would have the opportunity to do this for real some time soon. We would see.
As I lay in City’s beautiful tub with the warm water sloshing all around me, I pulled my phone out and took some pictures. I made sure that the bathroom was in the background, so anyone who had ever been in City’s bathroom could tell that was exactly where I was.
After I got a few good shots, I got out and dried off. For my final touch, I peeled off my fake eyelashes and put them on the sink beside the toothpaste. I wished I could do more, but I didn’t want to get caught before I got the chance to get Bo there.
I took one last look around the room before I left. If this didn’t work, I didn’t know what the fuck else to do. I prayed to God that this was enough to get her to leave him. I closed the front door behind me and put the spare key back under the paver where I found out. Jogging to my car, I got in then pulled up IG again. I went to Bo’s page and sent her a message.
Me: I think I left my favorite earrings that City gave me at his place this morning. He might still be at the gym, but when you see him, can you tell him to put them up for me till I see him again?
I couldn’t help but laugh to m
yself. She was going to flip out. Sure enough, I didn’t have to wait long for a response. My phone buzzed with a message from her.
Bo: Who the fuck is this?
I rolled my eyes and sent off another quick text.
Me: It’s Giselle, girl. I told you he was still fucking with me. I thought he told you.

Bo
I was at home making some changes to my website when my phone buzzed the first time. I’d been caught up in trying to figure out my money and how I was going to survive without having to ask City for anything because I know he had a lot on his plate dealing with his father. But when I got the message from Giselle’s messy ass, all that flew out the window. I had to read her text message to me twice before I responded.
Me: Bitch, you a whole ass liar. What is wrong with you? Get the fuck of my phone before I come find you and snatch your wig off.
I hated a lying ass bitch. City told me that none of his exes had ever been to his house. He told me I was the first woman he’d dated who had been inside the place he called home, so if Giselle thought she could tell me some bullshit without some kind of proof, she had me fucked all the way up. My phone buzzed again, and I looked at it, but when I did, all the warmth ran out of my body.
She had texted me a picture of herself in a tub. I knew for a FACT that it was City’s tub because we had sex in that tub a few days ago.
“What the fuck?” I said. She sent me another text.
Giselle: You don’t have to believe me if you don’t want to. This was this morning while he was getting ready to leave. You don’t believe me, go look your damn self. I bet my earring is still sittin’ in the bed where I left it.
I jumped up from the chair I’d been sitting on and ran to my closet to put on some shoes. How the fuck did this bitch have a picture inside my man’s house if he never let anyone come to his house before? Pictures didn’t lie, so that had to mean that City was lying. I had to go see for my damn self if she left her earring in the bed. Flashbacks of Dontrell’s cheating ass flew into my mind, and I started to hyperventilate. I couldn’t deal with another cheating ass nigga so soon after dumping the last one.
Rushing out of my house, I jumped in my car, only to hear my phone buzzing again. It was another Instagram message from Giselle.
Giselle: You know he’s a neat freak too. Just make sure he threw out the condom we used. I think it’s under the bed.
“What the fuck!” I yelled as I drove down the street.
I used one hand to steer while the other went to City’s name and number. I dialed him and waited impatiently for him to pick up.
“What’s up, baby girl?” his deep voice said over the line.
“Where are you?” I angrily asked.
“Woah, what the fuck? What’s the problem?” he asked.
“Don’t play with me. Where are you? Wherever the fuck you are, you need to meet me at your house now,” I said.
My heart was racing, and I was trying to make myself calm down, so I wouldn’t run off the road.
“Yo, I don’t know what you on right now, but I’m at the shop. I got a tattoo to start, so whatever this is gon’ have to wait till later, shorty,” he said in a clipped tone.
I could tell he was irritated from my tone, but he hadn’t even begun to see me upset.
“City, on God, if you don’t get to your house in the next fifteen minutes, you can just lose my number. Your little bitch, Giselle, sent me a picture that she took in your fucking bathtub this morning. Talkin’ about she was with you this morning and left her shit in your bed. Get to your house now, and open the door for me, or I’m breaking the door down myself,” I screamed at him.
“What the fuck!” City yelled at me. “Look, I don’t know what you talkin’ ’bout, but I ain’t seen Giselle today, and she damn sure ain’t been in my house.”
“Well, bring your ass to the house so I can see for myself. I’ll be there in five minutes, and I’m waiting ten before I find a rock,” I said then hung up.
I felt hot tears falling down my face as I thought about whether what this bitch said was true or not. I prayed she was making shit up to get under my skin, but I couldn’t explain away that picture.
Five minutes later, I got to his house. There were no cars in the driveway, and I made myself wait patiently in the car for ten minutes like I said I would. Seven minutes later, I saw City’s car flying down the road.
I hopped out as he pulled into the driveway. He glared at me as he got out of his car.
“The fuck is this about? If you were any other bitch I would’ve blocked you. Why you callin’ me at work acting a fool talking ’bout Giselle been in my house? You know you the only one that’s ever been here,” he yelled at me.
“Don’t start with me, City,” I said as I pushed my phone in his face and showed him the picture. “Open the door.”
His face registered confusion as he looked at the photo.
“When was this?” he asked.
“You tell me, nigga! Open the door!” I yelled.
I knew I was making a scene, but I was so angry. I wanted to get in the house and look with my own eyes, hoping that I wouldn’t see anything that would send me over the edge.
He sucked his teeth and walked to the door. I was right behind him, and as soon as the door opened, I stormed in. Taking the stairs two at a time, I barreled into his bedroom. Running over to the bed, I yanked the comforter off. I saw City out the corner of my eye walk into the room as I felt around under the sheets.
“What the fuck is this?” I screamed as my hand closed over a silver hoop earring. Pulling it out I walked back to him and pushed it up in his face.
“How the fuck did that get there?” he asked.
He had a genuine look of confusion on his face, but there was no way he didn’t know about this. No fucking way.
“Is this Giselle’s earring, City?” I asked while holding the earring up. My hand was shaking as I held on to it.
“Yeah, I got that for her when we were together, but on God, Bo, I don’t know how that got in my bed,” he said.
“Liar!” I yelled and threw the earring at his face.
I walked back to the bed and looked over at the pillow that had fallen on the floor when I pulled the comforter off.
“And I bet you don’t know how fucking foundation got on this pillow either, huh? This isn’t even my shade, City! You got this bitch in the bed you fuck me in? You’re such a liar, and you know the shit I been through with my ex!” I screamed at him. I couldn’t help the tears that were falling down my face. “And look at this hair. What the fuck, City? I don’t wear blond weave. My hair is black. You gon’ tell me you don’t know how this came in here either?”
City looked at me with his mouth open like he didn’t know what to say. For a split second, I didn’t know what to believe because he looked so confused. But maybe he deserved a fucking Oscar. Just then, I remembered the text Giselle sent me about a condom under the bed.
“Bo, I swear to you, on my mothers life, I don’t know what the fuck is going on. I was here alone this morning. I left and went to the gym, came back then went to work. That’s it. Giselle was never, ever here!” he said as he walked up and pulled on my arm.
“So, I guess you let other niggas fuck your ex in your bed then, huh?” I said as I pulled out the condom from under the bed and kicked it, so he could see.
His eyes got wide, and he shook his head.
“How stupid do you think I am, City? I know you fucked with a bunch of people, and you’re used to bitches falling over themselves for you. But, I told you, you break my trust, that’s it. That’s it! For you to do me like this is a slap in the face. And you don’t even have the decency to tell me the fucking truth,” I screamed at him.
“I’m not lying!” he roared coming up to me and pulling me toward him. “Giselle must’ve set this shit up. She’s been wanting to get at me. I don’t know how she did this. She must’ve broken in and set this up.”
“How, City? How does she know where you live? And where did she break in at?” I angrily pulled away from him.
Running downstairs, I went to the living room with City right behind me.
“Where are the broken windows? Huh?” I screamed as I ran from room to room looking at the windows. They were all intact. “You telling me she got in through a locked door?” I asked and tugged on the back door, which was still locked. “I saw you put your fucking key in the front door when you came here just now. The door wasn’t unlocked. So, tell me, City, did she glide her plastic ass in like a ghost through the walls?”
“I don’t know, Bo,” City said while rubbing his hands down his face. He looked defeated, and I was crushed.
I had developed such strong feelings for this man, so dealing with the reality that he was sleeping with someone else when I was almost sure I loved him was killing me.
“She’s what you want, so go be with her. Lose my number because I’m done,” I said and walked around him toward the front door.
I was hurt beyond belief, and he didn’t even attempt to come after me.
As I rushed out the front door and down the driveway to my car, tears stung my eyes. I wiped my face fiercely and put my car in reverse. City Bailey and I were done. Crazy part is, if I had just gotten a message alone with no evidence from that crazy bitch, Giselle, I would never have believed it. But I couldn’t ignore so much that was right in my face. He was a cheater just like the rest of them.
I peeled out the driveway and down the street, so I could get away as fast as I could. I heard my phone buzzing as I drove, and I glanced at it. I swear, if that was Giselle, I would find her wherever she was and beat the shit out of her just for fucking with me.
I reached for my phone and saw that I had a missed call, but as I picked it up, the phone it started ringing again. Dontrell. I exhaled and answered.
