“But… I want to… um… suck your cock.”
He groaned, Geri’s cuteness making him harder than he’d ever been. “Sweetheart, you can suck it while I eat you.”
The redness on Geri’s face was instantaneous, but the smile she tried to bite back told him she wanted it too. He knew she hadn’t tried that position with anyone else before, given that he was the first one to pleasure her with his mouth. But he simply didn’t want her feeling embarrassed about sex with him. Between the two of them, this was a beautiful thing—a testament of their mutual trust that they could freely share their deepest desires, needs and wants with each other.
“You sure you want to try it?” he asked to be doubly sure.
Geri nodded, her smile widening. “It’s so naughty.”
“It’s fun too,” he said cupping her face for a kiss.
“So do I get to be on top?”
“If you want,” he said with a happy laugh.
Geri could say all she wanted about how this relationship couldn’t work, but as far as he was concerned, it was already working fine. Thinking that a long-distance relationship wouldn’t work seemed to be Geri’s only problem. Granted they wouldn’t see each other a lot for the next few weeks, but soon she’d know his true identity. Then she’d also realise that it wouldn’t be a problem for Tricia and Maddie to move to Sydney with her.
He was in too deep with this woman, and he liked it like that. He’d spent too much time with shallow girls who cared more about his riches than his personality. Now, he’d found a wonderful, beautiful person who didn’t give a whit that he was only a chauffeur. Geri wasn’t in this for the money. How lucky was he?
Chapter 12
Geri gingerly lifted her leg so that her mound was right on Simon’s face. She couldn’t believe she was doing this, but since she only had five days left with him, she wanted to shed all embarrassment so she could experience him to the fullest. Besides, he’d made her so damned horny.
“Ah, yes, I love this view,” Simon said, running his hands along her ass as he ogled her vagina.
Her cheeks burned, even as she felt some freedom from being naughty with him—like they were somehow closer, unafraid of judgement from each other.
“It’s still your turn to tell me what you want,” she said.
“Is it? Well, I want you to scoot lower so I can reach this sweet pussy,” he said, pulling her hips down.
She did, and gasped as Simon let his tongue loose on her swollen nub. She moaned his name, grateful that Ingrid’s bedroom was far enough away. She doubted that she could keep quiet tonight.
“What else do you want?” she gasped.
“Suck me, baby,” Simon hissed before continuing his delicious attention to her pussy.
“Suck what?” she teased.
“That hard, stiff cock right in front of your face, honey. It wants your mouth bad.”
His words heightened her desire and stripped more of her inhibitions. She gripped his erect manhood and covered the head with her lips.
Simon groaned, his tongue flicking faster on her nub.
Ah, it was hard to concentrate when Simon was driving her crazy with lust and pleasure. Soon, all she could do was pump him repeatedly with her hand, her head resting on his leg as a powerful orgasm loomed large. When Simon’s mouth closed around her clit, she detonated, gripping the sheets to stop herself from screaming out loud. Simon didn’t let up until she moved and sat beside his thighs.
“That was good,” she said with a satisfied grin. “Now I can concentrate on this… hard, stiff cock right in front of my face.”
“Ah, yes,” Simon said, looking at her with half-closed lids. “You’ve got a naughty mouth, sweetheart.”
“I learned from the naughtiest of them all.”
Simon chuckled. “You haven’t seen me at my naughtiest yet.”
Her brows rose. “Really? Just how much naughtier can you get?”
Simon grinned, but his eyes held such warmth and tenderness that her heart skipped a beat. “We’ll save it for later,” he said. “Right now, do what you want to do with that thing in your hand.”
Oh, yes. This thing in her hand. She put it in her mouth, twirling her tongue on the head while she tugged the base. Simon moaned, and she redoubled her efforts. She loved the noises he made in bed. He made her feel like she was really taking him to heaven. Well, maybe she was, if his feelings mirrored her own.
It was unbelievable, really. Simon had awakened, stoked and fulfilled her desires so well that her past sexual experiences, albeit limited, paled in comparison. She was sure, though, that their love for each other was the secret ingredient. It made every kiss, every word, every touch, every moan much more meaningful.
Her heart was still singing from Simon’s declaration of love. She wanted to say “I love you” back, but it would only make things harder if she did. Simon might be confident that things would work out eventually, but he had no idea what she was facing. And she couldn’t tell him because of her deal with Justin.
If only she didn’t have to do what she had to do. But Maddie was her niece, and Geri wouldn’t be able to live with herself if anything happened to Maddie.
Perhaps Simon wouldn’t find out about her agreement with Justin until Damon was caught? That would be her only hope—and that Simon’s love was strong enough to last the untold number of months that she had to pretend to be Justin’s girlfriend. If Maya’s husband decided to make things hard for Maya, they could be pretending for a long time. Simon might have moved on by the time Maya’s divorce was finalised.
Ah, she so needed not to think about those issues right now!
She pushed away her unwanted thoughts and focused on Simon’s erection, caressing it and running her tongue along its length. Tonight was about her and Simon sharing their love for each other. She needed to save the memory of moments like these to help her keep the faith when things looked impossible, as she had no doubt they’d be.
“I need to be inside you,” Simon said suddenly, sitting up and opening the drawer of his bedside table for a condom.
“You don’t need one.” She’d been wanting to experience the feel of skin-to-skin with him. Now was the time.
Simon gaped at her, his face alight with excitement. “You’re on birth control?”
She nodded, smiling. Before she knew it, she was on her back and Simon’s head was between her legs again. “I thought you wanted to be inside me,” she said with a giggle.
“Yes, but not yet,” he said, parting her labia with his fingers. “I want you wetter and hotter for me.”
She gasped as Simon flicked his tongue on her clit. Thank God he was such a sensitive, considerate guy because thinking about her problems had caused her lust to wane a bit. But, oh, it was roaring back again now that Simon was doing what he was so good at. When he inserted two fingers inside her, she couldn’t wait any longer.
“My turn again to tell you what I want,” she said, pushing his head away.
“And what do you want?” Simon rasped, his gaze intense and full of need.
“Fuck me now, please,” she said shyly.
Simon took in a big breath, his lips curving to one side as he positioned himself on top of her. “My naughty girl wants to be fucked.”
“Yes,” she said, which turned into a moan when Simon pushed in.
“You feel so good, sweetheart,” he breathed as he thrust slowly, staring into her eyes. “I want you so much.”
She smiled, drawing his head down for a kiss. Together they moved with synchrony, urgent yet unhurried, needful yet giving.
Geri curved her arms around Simon, holding him close as he once again took her to the heights of pleasure she’d never before imagined. “Simon,” she gasped as she teetered over the edge.
“Yes, baby, I’m coming too,” he said with a groan.
“Ah!” Her body trembled as wave after wave of orgasmic ecstasy hit her with unstoppable force, magnified by Simon erupting inside her, calling o
ut her name over and over.
Simon lay beside her and took her in his arms.
She breathed in his scent, her heart constricting as her body recovered.
Until Monday morning, she’d sleep in Simon’s arms. She’d just need to wake up an hour earlier to ensure that Ingrid—and Justin, when he arrived on Saturday—wouldn’t catch her leaving Simon’s bedroom.
Her eyes stung with unshed tears, and she shut them so Simon wouldn’t notice. She could only hope Simon would never know that as soon as their break became official, she’d turn into Justin’s girlfriend for however long it took to settle Maya’s divorce.
It would break Simon’s heart. Actually, he’d hate her.
Please, God, don’t let him find out.
“Morning.”
Geri stepped away from Simon before he had the chance to kiss her or put his arms around her.
“Hey, they’re not awake yet, not even Rolf.”
“You never know.” she said, beating the batter for the pancakes nervously. Justin had arrived yesterday, and the man wouldn’t be happy catching her and Simon canoodling around. For the three hundred thousand dollars in cash that Justin had agreed to pay her as a deposit for their deal, she had to keep her end of the bargain—not to be seen being sweet with Simon in case Maya’s husband had already sent private investigators to shadow them for proof of her relationship with Justin.
“I won’t see you for a few weeks after tomorrow afternoon,” Simon said, sounding unhappy.
She didn’t answer. They might never see each other again—
Argh, she didn’t want to think about that.
“I think we should tell Mrs. Lawrence about us before you guys leave for Victoria.”
Geri turned to gape at Simon, and she forced the necessary words out of her mouth. “No. I still think it’s best for us to end things between us on Monday. Nothing’s changed, Simon. Sydney hasn’t suddenly moved closer to Hobart.”
Simon let out a harsh sigh. “Geri, if distance is the only thing that worries you, I can assure you we’ll work it out. I’ll help sort Tricia’s issues too.”
She shook her head. “It’s too much to ask of you.”
“No, it’s not. I love you.”
Oh, God. What was she going to do?
“Simon,” she said with as much seriousness she could muster. “I will never be comfortable with our relationship if I think I’m making you sacrifice things for me. Sure, you say you love me, and that’s great, but what I’m saying is I need to make sure that our feelings are real. We’re not in our normal environment on this trip. We have to break up. And if, in a few months, we still have feelings for each other, then that’s when we should consider making big changes with our lives.”
Simon stared at her for what seemed like ages, the lightness in his features disappearing. Then he left, banging the back door on his way out.
For the rest of his contract, Simon was mad enough—and hurt enough—not to speak with her unless he had to.
Her heart continued to shrivel.
Geri tried to feel nothing as she watched Simon hug Ingrid goodbye.
“We’ll miss you, Simon,” Ingrid said with a wobble in her voice. “If you find yourself with some free time, call us. And if you ever need another reference, just let me know. You’ve been absolutely marvellous.”
“Thank you, Mrs. Lawrence. I had the best time working for you,” Simon said graciously.
They were at Alexander Jets’ headquarters in Sydney, and Simon had just dropped them off. Fortunately, he would be gone by the time Justin turned up here to fly with them to Victoria.
At least Geri had been able to convince Justin to avoid hurting Simon unnecessarily by pretending he had a meeting in the city and would be flying back to the States afterwards. Truth was, Justin would be taking the taxi here in an hour to catch their charter flight to Melbourne.
Ingrid would be pleasantly surprised that her grandson would be accompanying her for the first half of her Victorian trip. The older woman was also bound to get shocked when they announced that Geri and Justin had started dating. Geri would also be telling her boss that she’d be going to Hobart tonight and would be staying there for three days to attend to a family issue.
Ingrid couldn’t know all of those things until they were in the air, so Simon wouldn’t hear about them.
“See you later, Rolf,” Simon said as he stroked Rolf’s head. “Look after Mrs. Lawrence and Geri, okay?”
Rolf’s bark was followed by a soft whine, as if he knew Simon was going and he’d never see him again.
Geri tried to swallow the lump in her throat. She had to be strong or else she’d be a mess. She couldn’t afford for Justin to pull out of their deal. Maddie’s safety depended on her acting skills.
“Bye, Geri,” Simon said as he approached her, his eyes sad.
She attempted a smile. “Bye, Simon. All the best.”
Simon put his arms around her and whispered in her ear. “I love you.”
She wanted to cry, but all she could do was hug him back—and let him go.
Chapter 13
“Thank you,” Simon said to his PA as she placed his fourth cup of coffee in front of him. He was having trouble concentrating, and he had so much work to catch up on, having been away for a month.
The lack of sleep hadn’t helped. After saying goodbye to Geri yesterday, all he could think of was that he’d said “I love you” to her three times. Three times. And not once had she responded in kind.
Wasn’t that telling?
He inhaled sharply as his heart squeezed tight. Wow, this being-in-love shit could hurt like hell.
But… he wasn’t one to give up that easily. Alexander Jets had grown to be a mega-success because he was a persistent, hardworking bastard despite his many shortcomings—his past playboy predilection being one of them. No way he was going to give up on Geri that easily. He knew that she liked him a lot, at the very least. That was something to hold on to.
He glanced at his phone sitting on his desk. He’d call her, even though they’d only parted yesterday. They were still friends, after all, so what was wrong with saying a quick hello to see if she’d enjoyed yesterday’s flight?
He groaned, raking his hair. This was ridiculous. How the hell could he focus on work when all he could think of was Geri?
He picked up the phone anyway, but called Gavin instead. Gavin should be able to give him some tips on how to handle this. He’d had a very long break with Natasha before they got back together and eventually got married.
“Hello, Mr. James,” Gavin said. “Are you back as Simon Alexander, CEO of Alexander Jets?”
“Yes,” he said dully.
“Hey, you don’t sound very happy about that. Let me guess. You’re already missing this woman named Geri. I heard from Tristan you’re head over heels.”
“It’s not easy,” he said with a despondent sigh.
“So it’s true!” Gavin said gleefully. “I was telling Tristan you had to be yanking his chain. But here you are, sounding like you’re pining hard for Ingrid Lawrence’s PA.”
Pining. Yes. That word seemed to apply to him. “So when can I expect this feeling of pining to go away?”
Gavin laughed. “When you stop being in love with her.”
“Argh!” He slumped in his seat.
“Hey, c’mon. Didn’t she just fly to Melbourne yesterday? A day is nothing. I pined for Tash for years.”
Simon smirked. “Couldn’t have been fun, dude.”
“Not fun at all. It was hell. But Tash was worth all the sacrifices, and now we have our son,” Gavin said proudly.
“Can’t wait to see him again,” he said sincerely.
“Well, Tristan’s organising something for next month, when you’re supposed to introduce Geri to us.”
“I don’t know if I’ll ever get to introduce her to you,” he said glumly.
There was a pause. “What do you mean?” Gavin asked.
Simon upda
ted Gavin with what had happened so far, embarrassed at sounding so pathetic, but relieved to be talking to someone who knew all about this love thing. Because he was scared that whatever step he took, it wouldn’t get him what he wanted.
“Well,” Gavin said after listening intently, “maybe she’s scared to completely fall for you because, in her mind, none of the options would work. A long-distance love affair would be too difficult. If she moved to Sydney, she’d be away from her family. And if you moved to Hobart, she’d feel guilty for taking you away from your high-profile clients that pay you good money. But wouldn’t finally confessing to her who you are be the solution?”
Hope crept back into Simon’s chest. “I guess so. I wanted to wait until you guys were around to back me up, but I might have to tell her over the phone—unless I could take another couple of days off work and fly to her so I can do it face-to-face.”
“Or there’s another possibility,” Gavin said quietly. “She might not feel the same way about you.”
He let out a harsh breath. “I know.”
“But that doesn’t mean she never would,” Gavin said in a consoling tone.
“Well, I intend to convince her that I’m the best thing that’s ever happened to her. Anyway, thanks for the chat, bro.”
“No worries. I’ll pick myself up from the floor now. I forgot to tell you I fell off my chair when you admitted you’re in love.”
Simon laughed, even though his chest was heavy.
He said goodbye to Gavin and immediately called Geri. Her phone rang and rang, until it went to voicemail. He left a message, saying he was just saying hi, and requested for her to call him back.
Well, that was all he could do at this time—unless he flew to Victoria and found them.
He shook his head. Honestly, what had he become, a stalker?
Work should help take his mind off her, so he called up the list of clients flying for the next day. He liked checking who’d been booking with Alexander Jets. These days, the majority were regular clients, some of whom were his best friends. But every so often, new names popped up on the screen. That never failed to give him a thrill.
