"I didn't know, Lily. You have to tell me these things."
"I'm not charging him."
"What?"
"It's not a paid-for date," she tensely responded.
"What?" he repeated, damn well hearing what she said but couldn't believe it. "You're going on a date with him? A real date?"
"It's not a date. Listen, pal, I don't need you giving me any trouble about this, you got it?" Lilith looked up from a shelf and saw Nic headed down the aisle. "Oh crap."
"What?"
She quickly whispered, "I'll call you back," and hung up.
"Lily." Nic smiled, forcing a hug.
"How are you?" She attempted to liven her tedious tone but failed.
"Good, you?"
"Same." While awkwardly nodding, Lilith looked away. "Shopping?"
Nic laughed. "Yeah, I need a last minute Halloween costume. You look good. Your hair's longer."
"Yeah, I don't really get cuts." She wanted to disappear.
"Oh wow!" Nic boasted when the glint of Lilith's ring caught her eye. Grabbing her hand, she observed the shinning diamonds.
"Yeah." Embarrassed, she pulled her hand back.
"Congrats?"
"Yeah. Thank you." Lilith tucked her hair behind her ear and cleared her throat.
Nic let out a condescending laugh. "Wow, that was fast."
"Not really. You take care." She grabbed a random box of antacids and headed toward the counter.
"Lily!" Nic called after her. "Hey, I have a few of your books. I'd like to return them."
"That's alright. Keep 'em." Lilith's smile was strained.
"I already have my own copies."
"Well I didn't even realize I didn't have them. Sell them."
"You're not at school anymore," Nic stated the obvious.
"I transferred." Lilith offered a quick smile.
"Where to?"
"Um." Her annoyance shone through her fake smile.
"None of my business." Nic embarrassedly chuckled in recognition. "I just wanted to say hi."
"Hi." Lilith turned back to the line. She didn't know how long Nic stood there staring at her, but she could feel her presence a few seconds longer.
The nosey man in front of her shifted to look at her and asked, "Old friends?"
"Ex-girlfriend," Lilith muttered.
Raising his eyebrows he smirked then turned back to the line. To avoid conversation with the meddlesome man, she called Ian back.
"I just ran into Nic at the drugstore," she mumbled.
"She confront you?"
"Yeah. I was really rude. I feel bad."
"Don't feel bad, Lily. Fuck that girl."
"Yeah, I did," she huffed and rolled her eyes. "Did you speak to Bryan without fighting?"
"Yes. He turned over his car and keys."
"He had a car and keys?" Lilith chuckled.
"I take care of all my employees, baby. Listen, just come tonight, please."
"No, Ian. I have to let you go though. I'm gonna order a pizza."
"Where are you going after the drug store?"
Fear he'd show up at the apartment had her snapping, "Why?"
"Damn, Lily, we going to hide shit from each other now?"
"I don't know, are we?"
There was a long pause of silence until he said, "You'll be home tonight, yes?"
"Yes, dad. Will you? Or you staying with Karen?" she provoked.
"Lily," he huffed.
"Mmhmm. I'll see you tonight."
"Lily."
Lilith directed her attention to the cashier. "Thank you." She smiled, taking her bag.
"Lily," Ian repeated in a mutter.
"Hmm?"
"Tell me you love me, baby."
"You know I love you, Ian, with every ounce of my being. Now I have to go."
"I love you, beautiful. See you tonight."
To perfect Lilith's zombie transformation, Ashley darkened her eyes. She skillfully applied infected veins down Lilith's neck and spreading from the gauze protecting the butterfly stitches on her arm.
"So this is where you got bit." Ashley pointed to the gauze.
"Perfect." Lilith chuckled, but after dressing she stared into the mirror with worry. "Is this too slutty?" The tight jeans provocatively exposed flesh through torn and tattered holes at her thighs and close to her ass. The ripped and ragged shirt exposed her navel and an enticing view of the side of her breast.
"No, but you need to take the bra off. It doesn't look good, takes away from the blood."
"Seriously?" Uncertainty worried her face.
"It'll be hot, Lilith, come on." Ashley grinned at her crafty work after Lilith removed her bra. "Fucking awesome. Maybe spray some perfume because all I can smell is blood." Ashley grimaced and the buzzer rang.
"That's Justin. Will you let him up?" Lilith began going through the cupboards for something like perfume. Milk and honey scented lotion was her only bet.
Ashley walked into the bathroom after a minute and grinned. "Fucking disgustingly hot, bitch. After you eat I'll do your lipstick and mouth blood."
"I'll do that, don't worry about it. I'm going to smear some red lipstick." The buzzer rang again, and she stuck her head into the hall. "Justin, that's the pizza. Grab that money from the table please and go down to pay him."
"He's so fuckin' hot." Ashley chuckled.
"What's he dressed as?"
"A hot guy." Ashley shrugged and Lilith rolled her eyes with a grin.
"So all is good?" She looked herself over in the mirror again. "Scary? Halloween?"
"Super sexy scary." Ashley pinched her butt.
Heading into the dining room, Lilith grinned. "Justin likes to eat pizza without people."
He looked over at her and stopped mid bite. "Not as lame as I thought." The impressive costume had his eyes traveling her body twice. "I was thinking green makeup, black eyes zombie."
"Oh come on." Lilith rolled her eyes. "I have her to dress me and do my makeup, of course I'm going to look phenomenal."
"Yeah, you fuckin' do." The lust in his gaze didn't falter even though he could feel Ashley's eyes on him.
Ashley bowed. "Thank you, thank you." She grabbed her purse. "Now fuck you, and fuck you, I'm leaving. I have my own party to get ready for."
"What're you being?" Justin asked.
"A disgruntled ex-girlfriend with a dead fetus."
Lilith gasped then burst into laughter, putting her hand to her mouth. "Oh god, Ashley," she said through her laughter. "That's mean. Really mean, please don't upset him."
"I'm only doing it because Bryan's gonna be there."
Lilith stopped laughing. "He is?"
"Yep. I think your nice bullshit has worn off on Ian." Ashley cringed and rolled her eyes. "Stop that, okay?"
Lilith smirked then kissed her. "Thank you for the amazing makeup job. Have fun. Take some pizza."
"You two have fun and be safe. No on the pizza, I'm still hungover."
"It helps." Lilith grinned, biting into a slice.
"Bye." She smiled at Justin.
"Night." He gave a wave before indulging in his pizza and the teasingly exposed flesh from Lilith's clothes.
"So." Lilith walked to the door locking the chain in case Ian showed up. "That's not a costume." She leaned against it, looking him over in his black jeans, white t-shirt, and a black jacket.
"I didn't do it yet. I didn't want to ride over bloody."
With raised eyebrows she questioned, "Ride?"
"I brought the bike out tonight."
"Um." The discomfort on her face exposed her concern.
"I brought you a helmet."
"Oh, that makes me feel better." She rolled her eyes.
"You haven't rode?"
"No!"
"Why? You afraid?"
"Yeah, pretty much." She tossed the crust from her pizza into the box.
"We'll take your car." He shrugged. "Doesn't make a difference to me. Although, I was being a dead guy that
fell off a motorcycle."
"Oh god!" She laughed. "That makes me feel safe about riding with you!"
He smirked tossing his crust into the box. "Water?" When she handed him a bottle he said, "This costume is awesome, El. I'm not a fan of the whole zombie thing, but you really pulled it off and it's pretty fuckin' sexy—"
Expressing concern, she interrupted him, "Too sexy? I don't even know where we're going and I have my breasts hanging out."
"Just an office party. You should see how my secretary dresses every Halloween. She's usually the slutty cat."
Lilith smirked and he stepped closer. "Let me see this." He lifted her arm to see her breast teasing from the tight, ripped shirt. "Hot." He grinned. "So, what's so real about this blood?"
"It's real blood."
"No it's not." He inspected the drips and smears covering her shirt.
Pointing to small splatters on her arm and cleavage she said, "Everything except this. The rest is real blood."
"You're fuckin' with me."
"No I'm not." She laughed.
Cocking his eyebrow he questioned, "And where'd you get real blood in mass amounts?"
Appearing sweet and innocent she replied, "My arm," while extending her arm and pointing to the bandaged wound.
"I thought that was part of the costume."
"Well it is now. It's my zombie bite."
"What's really under there? You want to explain before I assume you killed someone in these clothes?"
"I cut my arm pretty bad yesterday." Lilith rolled her eyes. "So I utilized them today." She gestured to her outfit. "And the embarrassing gauze became part of the costume."
"You did good." He grinned looking her over once more, but inevitably asked, "How'd you hurt your arm?"
"Slipped." She turned to the pizza box. "You gonna eat more?"
"No, but will you help me with bloodying up my shirt? I want it soaked in blood."
"Do you have blood? Ashley took hers home."
"Of course." He pulled a bottle of fake blood from his backpack. "I'm not as cool as you. I don't have real blood for my costume."
"No one's as cool as me." She grinned walking him to the bathroom. "Don't mind the metallic blood smell."
"You smell good." His face leaned closer to her hair. "You smell like honey. Maybe I should have been a bee and you could have been a honeycomb."
Laughing she said, "That's the cutest costume ever. I can picture you with a cute little stinger." She grinned at him, getting entranced in his combinational smile. He melded together his flirty, charming, and genuine smile and it was flawless. Snapping out of it she said, "Give me your shirt. You don't want to do this with it on or you'll dye your skin."
He pulled his coat off, hanging it on the door handle, then pulled his shirt over his head with one hand. Lilith tried not to stare at the simple act, but Justin removing his shirt with one hand and exposing his muscles and tattoos was dizzying enough she had to lean on the counter. Quickly taking his shirt, she put it into the sink.
"I probably should have done this yesterday." He smiled. "I'm always doing my costumes last minute."
Unable to speak because she was fighting the urge to look at him in the mirror, she focused on his shirt, splashing it with blood. When he leaned on the counter to watch her work, she had a weak moment and glanced over at his hard chest.
There didn't need to be any more heat in the bathroom, but she had to dry the blood. "Grab the blow dryer." She pointed.
After five minutes of drying the shirt, he took it from her hands. "That's good enough."
"What about your jacket? You're going to be the cleanest accident victim."
"Not ruining my Joe Rocket." He grabbed his jacket, handing it to her. "Hold this."
While he pulled the still damp shirt on, Lilith slipped his coat on and looked at herself in the mirror. "I look good." She laughed.
"Yeah you do." His eyes went to the rip in her jeans that exposed a peek of her ass cheek.
JUSTIN's fire makes it all worthwhile
She's sexy as hell, even in my oversized jacket. Maybe I'll buy her one and make her ride with me sometime.
My backpack's in the dining room and after I grab it I push her back into the bathroom because I'm not done with my costume. I put washable spray paint on the counter then a tire track stencil.
"Just do it from my stomach up," I say pointing up my face, getting the hottest laugh from her.
She's excited like a kid on Halloween and it's cute. At least she likes to have fun.
"You want to take your shirt off?"
"You want me to take my shirt off?" I grin and she rolls her eyes, grabbing the stencil.
Warily reading over the paint can she asks, "This can go on your skin?"
With a shrug I say, "I guess we'll see," pressing the stencil to my chest.
"Hold your breath and close your eyes." She presses the stencil to my face and her accuracy makes me smirk. "Don't move!" She laughs.
"Sorry," I quickly mumble.
"Okay, wait." She's looking me over before I can look at myself in the mirror. "Don't look yet."
After digging through some bag she comes at me with a black pen, but I trust her so I don't question it. Her breath is on my lips she's so close, and she smells like pizza and honey. Two of my favorite scents now, thanks to her.
"Close your eyes." After a minute, a giggle and a clap makes me open my eyes to her gorgeous grin. "Okay!"
The mirror reflects the image I was going for. It looks how it's supposed to; like I got run over.
"You should probably have some blood coming from your mouth and nose."
"We'll do that when we get there."
I go to leave the bathroom until she says, "I just need to put my lipstick on." So I stop and watch as red lipstick slides over her thick lips, then with the back of her hand she smears it.
"Wait." My thumb presses into her pillowy lip and I smear it a little deeper, then I take the lipstick from her hand and apply more so I can smear it to my liking. "Good." Even with all that smeared shit on her face I want to taste her mouth so fucking bad it hurts my straining cock.
"I hope this doesn't smear inside your helmet."
I thought we opted out of riding the bike. "We're taking the bike?"
"You were run over with your own motorcycle. We have to take the bike."
I grin and lean against the counter, ready to set up our story. "I was taking you to the hospital for your zombie bite." I point to her arm. "And you bit me causing me to wreck my bike." I'm stupidly grinning, but it's a fun concept.
She laughs and does that clap thing again. "So that'd make you a lame zombie. You need a bite wound too." Her enthusiasm is really sexy. And this is a fucking golden opportunity set up for me.
"I'm wearing my leather so you couldn't bite me anywhere but my neck, and if you're on the back of my bike that'd be where you'd bite me anyway." With a casual shrug, I play innocent.
"I have no idea how to make bite marks." She looks through her makeup bag thing again.
"Bite me."
There's a small smirk on her lips but I only get a fleeting glance before she's digging in the bag again.
"Seriously." Pulling at my collar, I expose the side of my neck. "Bite me." It was her idea for me to have a bite wound and now she's staring at me with this really sexy doe-eyed look. "You're not going to hurt me." I lean in closer to her.
"It's gonna hurt if I bite you!"
Now's probably not the time to tell her I'm into this kind of thing and I used to let Layna damn near beat the shit out of me when we had sex.
"It'll be fine." When I lean in closer she puts her hand on my arm but she's hesitant. "I'll tell you if it hurts."
"It's going to hurt." The worry in her tone is cute.
"I'll be fine."
"Well if we were on the motorcycle." She steps behind me. "I'd bight you from behind." There's skepticism in her voice but she still puts her hand on my shoulder. "Squat a little, pleas
e."
I squat down and avoid her nervous gaze until I tell her, "When you bite, suck. Like a hickey."
Her eyes are saying I'm insane, but the slight curl of her lips can't wait. Yeah, this is mainly for my pleasure, but it's good for the costume too.
"Latch on. Be a zombie, get into character, El," I tease.
She laughs then puts both her hands on my shoulders. "Tell me if it hurts."
"Yeah, okay." I just want her lips on me and her teeth sinking into my flesh already.
Those fine fucking lips lightly press to my neck. This won't do shit.
"Wait." She pulls away and puts on a thick layer of red lipstick before going in for the bite.
Her teeth feel like a massage from the hands of an infant and she's sucking like she's sipping through a wide straw. If she gives head like this, I don't think I'm interested.
"Come on, El, suck and bite. Hard."
The feel of her teeth sinking in deeper makes my cock throb once. I felt her tongue lap at my skin but I think once she realized it was quickly turning from a zombie attack to her lustfully kissing my neck she stopped.
"Harder." I'm trying not to sound like this is giving me a solid bone.
A small gasp escapes her when she pulls away and I quickly look over my shoulder.
"Oh god! I made you bleed!" She presses her hand to my neck.
I stand, leaning into the counter so she doesn't see my boner. Damn good bite mark with lipstick marks and all.
"Awesome." I smirk.
She's standing behind me with her hand to her mouth and stunned, wide-eyes. Now I have to convince her she didn't hurt me without pointing out my hard dick. "You didn't hurt me."
"I made you bleed." Her eyes widen more.
"I know." I chuckle and look back at the mark before picking up a makeup pencil. "May I?"
"Yeah." She sounds upset. Poor thing. She has no idea what I plan on doing to her when she lets me.
I'm grinning, adding makeup to make it look more zombie and less good sex.
"We'll add the blood when we get there."
She's fiddling with her fingers and I give her a smile while staring into her worried zombie face.
"You didn't hurt me." I grab her hands that she's wringing.
"You sure?"
"I'm positive. I told you harder, didn't I?" Looking at her upset face does something to me. Something I don't remember ever feeling with a woman. The fact she seems to actually care about my wellbeing is a foreign concept to me.
