Humanity's Space Boom: It started in the late 22nd Century and continues until today, three hundred later. Humanity managed to colonize a great part of the galaxy and is now considered one of the most powerful empires around. The Space Boom is coming to an end with the United Empires getting ready to vote a new regulation about how many planets can be an empire own.

Humans (Rank 3 Species): The third-ranked species in the Great Species Rank, humans are dead set on getting to the second position in less than three years. Being one of the shortest living species in the galaxy, humans are overly ambitious, alarming the surrounding species.

Humans: Sentient mammals with a low-to-average life span. Their origin planet is Primordial Earth.

Hydro-recovery Organisms: Some species can use water to enhance their recovery abilities. Esuh, Detir, and Pots are only some of the Hydro-recovery Organisms. However, unlike the mighty Esuh, the Detir and Pots seem to have weakened immune system when away from water for prolonged periods of time. Thus, all Great Embassies should be equipped with pools or water restoration pods for the convenience of the alien ambassadors.

Institute: The center of all human knowledge on the Galaxy. It is placed on Yaerus, the Capital Planet of Humanity’s Empire.

Jasih: or Jay, is an Esuh, a symbiote organism. He’s also a Prime Officer, and an Originator, making him a powerful warrior. He’s tall, brawny, with dark hair and platinum silver skin. When his parasite emerges, he’s covered by a dark matter that turns his body ash gray and his hair white. He’s not easy to communicate with, and he’s amnesiac after his crash on Primordial Earth. He was on Cryogenic Preservation for almost one hundred years.

Juggernaut (Class 5 Spaceships): The biggest class of spaceships, Juggernauts are mainly used for military operations. A Juggernaut is able for total annihilation in grand scale, making their production limited to only a handful per species. The Five Great all own Juggernauts in a descending priority from the top. That means that the Phadh, the Rank 1 Species, own 5 Juggernauts and so on.

K.G.A (Known Galaxy Archives): After a United Empires regulation, Chroniclers have access to the Known Galaxy Archives, the collected knowledge of any species ever met. It is an invaluable tool for the expansion of human and alien knowledge, as well as a way to communicate and learn more things about each different species.

Known Galaxy: Not all the Mikly Way galaxy is charted yet, but the places that are fall under the Known Galaxy category. However, some places are charted, but there was the inability to make contact with the local residents or relations to the Five Great Species are hostile. Those regions are called Uncharted.

Lenora: Jasih’s late wife, the last guardian of the Cube. A wonderful, beautiful woman, one that would do anything to protect her family.

Magna Bellum of the Delta Period: The Great War of the Fourth Period, probably an important event to Esuh history. Little is known about this event.

  Mist: see Alec.

Morphing: The process of changing to another form through the use of Cryptic Technology.

Mosa: The world capital of planet Yaerus and the greatest city that mankind ever built. Perfectly designed, totally dependent on green energy, Mosa has zero air pollution and almost zero crime rate. Mosa is the city that every dream comes true.

Mr. Terasaka: one of Humanity’s ambassadors. Charismatic, brilliant, and gutsy when he has to, Terasaka will do anything to succeed in his cause.

  Nebula: see Arlen.

Nusae: Alien Species that suddenly vanished leaving behind almost no evidence of their existence. However, towards the late 21st Century, humans validated the Nusae existence by discovering technology schematics that lead to the development of the secret technology.

  O. Tech: Original Technology, is a slang term Chroniclers use to identify technology not appearing on the K.G.A. It is a great deal for Chroniclers to come up with O. Tech since it usually leads to many years of technological process.

Ocean: The only female, high ranked member of the Organization, little are know about Ocean. She has vanished for quite some time now, only appearing a year ago to save Eladia and Jay from the incident in the Great Embassy.

Organization: Little is know about the Organization. The only thing we know for sure is that it’s an organization that has extended archives about the Nusae and their extinction.

Originator: Originators are an elite group of selected operatives whose deeds are close to legends. Originators are picked from every species regarding their skills, intelligent and their ability to understand and react to every situation. Originators are an ancient order that originates from the start of the First Empire until now. The name has changed throughout the years, but the customs of the order are older than humanity itself.

Orihans: An almost-extinct alien species that were hunted for their silky furs and adamant bones. United Empires legislation has forbidden hunting Orihans, but the galaxy is too big a place for the universal laws to apply everywhere. It is estimated that only a depressing one million of them exist in the whole universe, making them a hard and exotic prey.

Phadh (Rank 1 Species): Enormous, tree-like creatures that live for hundreds of years the Phadh were the ones that ended the Intergalactic War through their use of advanced technology and martial aptitude. Phadh has been the first since the beginning of the Species Rank, making them a potent adversary, politically and military. However, since the last war, the Phadh have limited their appearances since their relatively small population doesn't allow for them to endanger their status.

The Phadh grow throughout their lives and only return to their home planet to die. They are a usually peaceful race, but they won't think twice when challenged.

Pots: Detir and Pots share the same planet and some common ancestry, but they are two entirely different species. Their ancestors were flying creatures that soared the skies of their world while using their endless oceans for reproduction and hunt. But, after one of the many cataclysmic events that changed the geomorphology of their home planet, Pots only inherited their flying ability.

Their hydro-recovery system works slower than their cousins, Detir, but it's easier to activate it, making their intergalactic travels easier. Most of the time, Pots are good politicians and diplomats since they retain a “bird's point of view”, making it easy for them to read the body language.

They have petitioned countless times for a rank in the Five Great, but they are always turned down because they can't work well with their distant cousins, the Detir, who own the military power of their home planet.

Primordial Earth: The origins planet of the human race.

Pyro: A mysterious high ranked member of the Organization, Pyro is the leader of the mission to retake Mosa after its fall from the mysterious disease. Also, he’s one of the most dubious members of the Organization, never revealing more things than he has to.

Renters (Pair): An indigenous species to the Esuh home planet, Renters, were amphibian creatures that always came in pairs. A pair of Renters was the Esuh traditional dish for celebrations and unions. However, when they almost hunted them to extinction, the Esuh started breeding them and changing their genes to make them fatter and more delicious.

Sciri: The Esuh home planet. The Esuh made sure to destroy it when they left in search of a shelter from the Cube’s powers.

Sectors: The Known Galaxy is divided into hundreds of Sectors, making it easier for the council to rule them. New Sectors are added every year, making the council a huge, vibrant association.

Seven Prisons: And sometimes called and seven systems, is some type of Esuh swear. It’s yet unclear why the use of Seven Prison and Seven Systems is that important to the Esuh culture.

Silver: A peculiar and quirky Chronicler’s assistant that has many forms. Her advanced artificial intelligence and her attention to details deem her an irreplaceable assistant to Eladia.

Swamp: Dale Cross’ alias in the Organization.

The Cause: The Organization is following code, a joint pu
rpose called The Cause. Every member has to follow The Cause and its rules or else the other members of The Organization have the liberty to exterminate the Causeless.

Third-Ranked Species: A ranking of the influence of the species comes every ten years, and humanity has reached the Third-Ranked Status the last decade. Since then, humans have become cocky and arrogant, turning many heads throughout the galaxy.

Tidrey: Dog-like creatures that thrived many decades ago on Jasih’s origin planet. Little is known about those fearsome predators.

Timedisol: Some kind of gas that used to induce euphoria but hazed the minds of the Esuh. It has the same effect as alcohol.

Totes: One of the many members of the Known Galaxy Alliance. They are medium-height creatures with antennae to support their eyes. Belonging to the quickly rising members of the Alliance, Totes are quite active in most councils, as well as strong-minded.

  Uncharted Region: see Known Galaxy

Vlatall (Rank 2 Species): Vlatall are tiny, sphere-like creatures that can float in mid-air. Even though some of the first people that discovered the Vlatall thought they were a cute species that could be exploited in markets all around the galaxy, the Vlatall turned out being fierce adversaries.

Vlatall are collective-mind creatures; that means that they all share the same mind through their telepathy powers. That makes them great strategists but also highly religious species. A Vlatall never dies, but instead, it survives in the memories of his brethren. Their religion has inspired many other species to try and come up with an explanation about their telepathic powers, but it's not easy to capture and experiment with a Vlatall.

Their home planet is a gas giant the likes of the Towering Saturn of the Original Solar System. Thus, they're mostly gas-based sentient beings that neither are born nor die. So, the conventional research methods do not allow for their understanding. Still, it is rumored that humans have found a way to contain them and actually grab the second rank from them.

Xioria: One of the barren worlds that Humans colonized in the early days of the Space Boom, Xioria is thought to be a mineral goldmine. After many human changes to the planet’s ecosystem, Xioria is now almost always ravaged by very strong sandstorms that don’t allow for life to develop above ground.

Yaerus: Humanity’s Capital Planet. Unlike Primordial Earth, Yaerus is consisted of 60% water and 40% land, making it an easier place for humans to colonize. The planet has a bigger radius than Earth but retains the same gravitational pull. Around Yaerus, two moons turn in unison, controlling the tides.

Zan: A Primordial Earth resident, Zan is a feral teenage boy that’s adept at tracking prey and hiding in the shadows. Hairier than the typical humans, and with long hands that easily touch the ground, his species has taken a different evolution path to the standard human.

Zeania: The Phadh home planet. Even though the Phadh consider Zeania their first and last home, the planet is just a huge necropolis meant for the Colossi that aren’t able to move anymore. It’s a beautiful, vibrant planet since Phadh don’t allow for outsiders inside it. Also, fire and every other dangerous, environment changing activities are strictly forbidden.

Ziurus: A Planet in the Uncharted Region of the Known Galaxy. Jasih was able to remember that this planet was once colonized by the Nusae, making it a great place to search for more Nusae relics.
