Thanks, too, to my web master and newsletter guru, Yolanda Facio, who continues to help me, despite moving on to bigger and better things. Thanks for still keeping me on; I’d be lost without you, and that’s a fact. Your speed and efficiency, not to mention your friendship, is much appreciated.

And what would an acknowledgments section be without a big thank you (again!) to my poor beta readers who slog through the mud for me and read sub-standard versions of what eventually ends up on a shelf somewhere, all sparkly and shiny. Thank you for your careful reading of the sludge—for your suggestions, your advice, and for patiently answering the million questions I pose to you about the plot, the characters and any number of little details. You help to shape these books, and that is no small thing. So, without further ado, I’d like to thank Margaret, Liz, Otto, Rebecca, Marcy, Susan, Phil, Kari, Wally, Paul, and Carmi for picking through the rubbish to find the gems.

And, again, thanks to my neglected family and in particular, my husband, Phil, who has taken on more household tasks than ever before and has sadly learned to live with others not getting done at all, or if nothing else then in a very untimely manner. But more importantly, you’ve been my constant support, my biggest fan, and my closet friend, and for this I truly thank you, my love.
