Bound to be Taken (Emergence)

She pretended it was Dane pressing his tongue against her clit instead of the vibrator. His moan making her skin tingle with need. She wanted more.
She released her tortured nipples and stuffed two fingers into her pussy. Twisting her arm, she managed to drag the digits across her G-spot and flick them over the zone while she bucked into the mechanical god.
And that’s what her vibrator was—an electrical device made by God himself.
It didn’t take long before the crescendo built to another peak and she held the dildo steady to ride out the pulsing ache of her clit. After a few seconds, she had to pull the vibrator away. Her sensitive skin forced her to cringe from the contact with the device.
Two orgasms. She’d really had two releases in less than five minutes? That had to be an all-time record.
It was going to be a long week. But not long enough. She never wanted Saturday night to come and go. That would mean the end of their agreement. The end of the best sex of her life. She laughed out loud. “Sex? Girl, you just masturbated. Before that, no one even touched you.”
Ah, but they would. She was sure of that… She relaxed into the sheets. Two men had lusted after her. She couldn’t deny it. The indisputable evidence was portrayed by the bulges in their pants as they’d dominated her. Both men had muttered words she’d never heard with such sincerity before tonight. They’d said she was “smokin’ hot”. Oh, they’d commanded her, but they’d done it with such care and consideration. And damn, she couldn’t deny the appeal.
Chapter Five
“Holy Mother of God.” Aiden paced the living room, running his hands through his hair. “I still can’t get the image out of my head of Stephanie kneeling on the ground before me.” He glanced at the ceiling, took a deep breath and turned to Dane and Lori. His lover and their sponsor sat on the leather couch, grinning at him. Thank goodness Lori had been available to come over and meet with them this morning.
“It’s true.” Dane looked at Lori. “She definitely had a natural propensity toward submission. I thought I was going to come in my pants just watching her.”
Lori narrowed her gaze. “Are you sure she wasn’t just experimenting? Maybe she’s a pleaser? Those don’t make great subs, you know.” Lori was skeptical. And hell, that’s why they’d called her. Aiden knew she would see things through clearer lenses. After all, she wasn’t the one who’d had Stephanie Parkins on her knees last night, shaking with need.
Aiden shook his head. “No way. I mean, sure, she pleased me. There’s no denying that.” He chuckled. “But I’m betting it goes much deeper. And I’d also bet she has no idea. She’s confident about herself when it comes to her job. She works for an IT company. She’s intelligent and hardworking. Hell, the woman has been working long hours to get a promotion.”
Dane took over. “And I don’t think she dates much. It wouldn’t be because she isn’t sexy. She’s on fire. But she seems to repel men by dressing frumpy and keeping to herself on purpose.”
Lori pursed her lips before she spoke. “Just be careful. If she’s unfamiliar with the lifestyle, you’ll have to take things at her pace. If she shows any signs of being way too malleable, she won’t make a good submissive. You both know this. You’ve been watching and learning for months. Subs are strong personalities. They are the ones who hold the true power in a D/s relationship. She would have to hand that power and control over to you two if she were to enter into an agreement.
“Take your time. That’s all I’m saying. Watch her closely. If she holds her head high, figuratively, outside of the D/s role playing, you might be right. Just be sure she isn’t a doormat. That only works for a short while. It gets old and tiring if your sub has no opinions of her own.
“You want an animated, exciting individual with a propensity to drop that façade and bend to your will in private—or wherever you agree for the terms of your arrangement to extend.”
Lori leaned back. Aiden watched her mouth open to continue. She was holding something back.
“Go on.” Aiden sat on the wingchair and leaned forward with his elbows on his knees. He felt like a sponge soaking up everything Lori advised. They’d heard all this before, but it never hurt to listen again. The woman had been living the lifestyle for many years. She knew her shit. Aiden felt lucky to have landed her as a sponsor as he and Dane transitioned into this world.
Lori cleared her throat. “I worry about you two.” She swallowed and glanced at both men. “This is a most unusual dynamic you have. Two bisexual men who are switches in the D/s world, looking to take on a single female submissive. I know that’s always been your intention, but it’s going to take a lot of patience and understanding to ensure all parties involved are content with the arrangements. Make sure your woman knows what she’s getting into. And you both need to think hard about what roles you intend to play in the new circle. Are you both going to continue to sub for each other? Will you let that go and just Dom for this woman?”
Aiden looked toward Dane and shrugged.
Dane had the same look on his face. “We haven’t even discussed the particulars. All we managed to realize so far was that Stephanie is more than likely beyond our wildest dreams. The rest hasn’t even entered our radar yet.”
“Well, you’d better get ‘the rest’ into your radar ASAP.” Lori laughed. “The rest, as you put it, could be a deal breaker for everyone. Hell, it only has to be a deal breaker for one of the three of you to end the gig.”
Aiden tipped his head to the floor. She was right. They had a hell of a lot to consider. Sure, Stephanie was sexy and submissive. But until they expanded on what Aiden and Dane wanted out of the relationship, all bets were off.
So what did they want? Aiden was no longer sure. He wanted Stephanie more than his next breath. But perhaps she was more submissive than they’d intended. She might need to be a full-time sub in order to be fulfilled. He wasn’t entirely sure he and Dane could fill that role for her twenty-four seven.
Maybe he was jumping the gun. Perhaps he’d misread her.
He seriously doubted it. Every time he pictured her kneeling before him, he had to adjust his cock. The woman had lowered her body and her eyes as though she were born to do so. She’d been aroused and shivering the entire time.
He’d bet his last dollar she’d gone home more confused than she’d ever been in her life and had masturbated well into the night just to take the edge off the new feelings she’d experienced.
Aiden moaned.
Dane chuckled. “Having your own private party down memory lane over there?”
“It’s a party for two. Never fear.” Aiden stood, waltzed over to his partner and planted a long, luxurious kiss on the man’s lips. He wrapped one hand behind Dane’s head and held him still for the plundering. All this talk of D/s had him hornier than hell. He suddenly wished Lori would disappear so he could take Dane into the bedroom and fuck him senseless.
And a new thought formed behind that idea. He needed to dominate Dane as much as he needed to dominate Stephanie. Could they keep the current arrangement they had and add a female without upsetting the balance?
At nine p.m. Wednesday night Dane began to gripe at his staff. No one could do anything right in his kitchen tonight. He’d been fine earlier. Excited. Joyful. But as the hours ticked by and he realized Stephanie probably wouldn’t show, he got crabby.
And he had a nice meal planned for her. He wanted to woo the woman like nobody ever had or ever would again, until she couldn’t possibly consider leaving them after Saturday. The best way he knew to do that was with food. He was good with food.
“Dane.” Aiden’s voice had him spinning toward the kitchen door. His face was lit up. “She’s here,” he mouthed.
Oh thank God. Dane ran his hands through his hair and took two deep breaths. When he finally had his composure, he stepped into the dining room.
Stephanie had her back to him as he approached. Aiden was seating her at the same table they’d used last night. She looked so
fine from behind. Her glorious curls were trapped in a clip at the nape of her neck. He wanted to let them loose and watch them scatter across her back and fall over her chest.
He wiped his palms on his pants as he approached. His cock jumped to attention, and sweat pooled to run down his back. Get a grip, Dane. It’s just a woman. You’ve seen one before.
His gaze traveled the length of her, taking in the white blouse and gray skirt. He almost moaned when he reached the hemline. It wasn’t a short skirt by any stretch, but shorter than any he’d seen her in before. And full. Pleated. It landed just above her knees.
A noise did escape his lips when he saw that her legs were bare. No stockings today. Her skin would still be stinging from the coffee.
“Hey, there he is.” Aiden turned to Dane and smiled, the biggest grin Dane had ever seen. Stephanie did this to him. If he didn’t know better, Dane would feel jealous of Aiden’s attention to another person. But that was ridiculous. Dane and Aiden had known each other for so long they just didn’t react so strongly anymore.
Stephanie turned her head to glance back at Dane. Her smile melted him. His sweaty hands shook as he leaned in to kiss her cheek.
“Didn’t think you were gonna show,” Dane whispered as he rounded the table to face her.
“I wasn’t sure myself. I had a lot of work to get done today before I could leave the office. And then I had to tell myself this wasn’t completely stupid of me…coming here, I mean.” She bit her lip in that way that made him squirm. He wanted to suck that kissable lip into his mouth.
Aiden sat down in the chair next to her. “We’re glad you came.” He set a hand on hers on the table and squeezed.
Dane wanted to touch her skin. The simple peck had only whet his appetite. But he needed to cook. “I’m making you something special. I hope you’re hungry.”
“Starved.”
“Good. I’ll be back out in a bit then.” Dane backed up. He glanced around the restaurant as he went. Not many diners were left. Typical for a Wednesday night. The middle of the week was generally slow. He hoped everyone would just clear out fast so he and Aiden could have Stephanie all to themselves. Like last night… He groaned as he entered the kitchen. Last night had been…unbelievable. He hoped they could do it again, maybe push her further.
Dane headed for the sink and adjusted his crotch as he reached to turn the water on. He needed to scrub his hands and get to work.
Aiden leaned on his elbows across from her when he returned from grabbing a bottle of wine and two glasses. Stephanie gazed into his deep green eyes. His blond hair landed over his forehead. She wanted to run her hands through the thick locks. Instead, she fisted them in her lap and tried to keep from fidgeting, again.
What was it about these two men that she lost all ability to concentrate in their presence? She’d slept like a log after her release last night and gotten to work at six o’clock this morning to get a jump on her assignments. Staying until eight thirty this evening lifted a huge weight off her chest. Being type A did have its advantages. With diligent concentration, she’d made great strides. Several of the accounts had needed much less attention than she’d expected. The stack had gotten shorter.
She couldn’t deny the rampant thoughts that had seeped into her mind from time to time, shocking her. Did she really kneel in front of two sexy men last night and let them teach her about submission? She squeezed her legs together, feeling the dampness that wouldn’t stop gathering in her panties.
“So, how was your day?” Aiden asked.
“Good. I got a lot done.” She gripped her knee to steady her leg. It wouldn’t stop bouncing. “Yours?”
“Slow. But Wednesdays often are. I’m glad though. Frees me up now to enjoy a late dinner with you.” He poured a glass of wine and set it in front of her. “I guessed red, since that’s what you wanted yesterday.”
She nodded. “I’m a dry kinda girl.” Ugh, you sound ridiculous. She was acting as if she were on a job interview.
Her knee tapped again when she released it to reach for the stem of the wine glass. She needed a long drink to calm her nerves. The lines in this arrangement were blurring. This was a business deal. And yet she felt warm and her stomach clenched at just the sight of Aiden smiling at her.
Dane approached and settled platters all over the table. She giggled. “How much do you think I can eat?”
“I wasn’t sure what you liked so I made a variety.” He sat next to her. With one man across from her and one next to her at the intimate table, she couldn’t breathe in without inhaling their scent. Of course, now the smells she was growing to recognize as belonging to these two men were mixed with the array of food in front of her.
Platters of pasta with a variety of red and white sauces covered the maroon table cloth so there wasn’t even space for plates.
Aiden handed her a cloth napkin that matched the table linens and she unrolled it to reveal a fork and knife. “Dig in.” He nodded to the steaming assortment.
Hmm, they weren’t going to use plates. The idea of sharing this meal straight off the serving dishes with Aiden and Dane gave her goose bumps. It was so intimate. She licked her lips, her mouth watering as she tried to decide where to start. “It all smells so good.” She closed her eyes for a second and inhaled deep.
“I hope you like it.” Dane stuck his fork into a bite of pasta con broccoli.
Stephanie went for the lasagna and couldn’t keep from moaning around the succulent bite. Perfect. Just the right amount of spices, tomato sauce and meats to make her glad she hadn’t had time to eat before she came.
When she stuffed a forkful of spaghetti in her mouth, a noodle sprung loose and dribbled sauce on her chin. Aiden reached across the table and wiped the drip away.
She swallowed. “Isn’t it a rule never to eat spaghetti on a first date?” Her eyes popped open after the question leaked out. This is not a date.
Both men chuckled and ignored the implication.
“We aren’t particularly formal. Enjoy yourself. Relax.” Dane grabbed her hand where it rested on the table and squeezed. “It’s just food.”
“Really good food,” she added. “The best I’ve ever eaten. You’re gonna spoil me.”
“Good.” He beamed. “I hope so. I like my women satisfied.”
A burning flush spread across her face for the millionth time. What the…? The sexual innuendo between them was growing. Or was it just in her imagination?
“I love it when your skin turns pink like that.” Aiden wiped his thumb over her cheek. “You’re so…easily embarrassed. It’s charming.”
Stephanie grabbed her glass and hid behind the deep red wine. Holy hell this was intense. She had to keep her gaze down to eat, otherwise she couldn’t concentrate on the food. And it was damn good. She wasn’t kidding.
“Did you get enough done to leave early tomorrow?” Dane asked.
She nodded with a bite of meatball in her mouth and then swallowed. “I did. I told them I had an appointment at two.”
“Perfect. We’ll meet you in the lobby then and head out.” Aiden poured more wine into all three glasses.
“Where are you from? Your accent is…Midwest?” Dane forked a meatball and brought it to his lips.
She watched him open his mouth wide and couldn’t help thinking about what else he could probably do with those lips and that tongue.
“Steph?” Aiden interrupted her thoughts.
“Oh, yes. Indiana. I moved here three years ago when my mother died.”
“Ah, that explains it. You aren’t a born Southern girl.” Dane chuckled.
“You say that like it’s a crime.” She grinned at him. The banter they had was refreshing. It had been a long time since she’d had this with anyone, female or male. She didn’t usually develop close friendships. Besides Lisa at the office, she didn’t socialize much. Had always been more of a loner.
Dane took a drink and then winked at her. “Not a crime…unless you’re currently in the Sout
h, then yes. It can be hazardous.”
Stephanie looked around. “I’m definitely in the South now, but I’m not about to drink your tea.” She scrunched up her nose. “Do you even consider adding any actual tea to your sugar?”
“Nope. Why bother?” Aiden grabbed a roll. “So what made you move to the South?”
“I discovered my mother had been from here. I had a living relative I never knew about. Unfortunately, that was my grandmother. She wasn’t well and she died a year later. By then I was working for Seabring. I decided to stay in the area.”
“I’m glad you did.” Aiden smiled at her, a genuine interest in her life story.
She watched as he ripped a corner off his bread, dipped it in olive oil and lifted the perfect bite to his lips. When he caught her gaze, he pulled off another chuck of bread, sopped up the spicy oil and brought that bite to her lips.
“Hmmm,” she moaned around the flavors, not breaking eye contact with Aiden. Everything they did was so erotic. Maybe she was reading too much into it. But it could be these two men really did enjoy her company. She didn’t think they would go to this much trouble to wine and dine her just to ensure a date for Friday night.
She was stuffed. When she sat back in her chair, she grabbed her wine and continued to sip while she watched the men finish off the meal. Even with the amount of food on the table that had looked like a feast for a family of ten, they managed to polish off almost everything. Of course, Dane and Aiden were both tall and built. It probably took a lot of calories to keep them so fit.
A flash of them burning those calories off made her squirm in her seat again. She let images of both men lifting weights and running on a treadmill rush by in her mind in favor of them engaged in all manner of sexual exercise—everything from fucking her to fucking each other. Ugh.
Someone popped out of nowhere and cleared the table. Stephanie had been so focused on the two men sucking all the oxygen out of the air she had forgotten they weren’t alone.
