  I didn't notice Shi Yin was near me, she saw me playing around with my little brother… I felt really embarrassed and bad for Shi Yin.

  “Ahem Shi Yin, there is a proper explanation for this...” I could see Shi Yin with her head lowered and her face as red as a tomato.

  Alright, this is pretty awkward...

  “You see, I was just checking that everything was okay, I got a little damage down there from the wolf fight... See I'm still bandaged, my wound didn't heal yet...” I tried my best to solve this awkward situation.

  “Shi Yin are you okay? What's wrong?” I asked her caringly. It was clear that something went terribly wrong.

  “No wonder so many people say you are dumb! I'm the Divine Artifact, Shi Yin is Shi Yin, we are two separate entities. People used to call me the Demon Timeless Sword. I was created millions of years ago, at that time there was an ethereal blacksmith who wanted to step into the Origin stage, he was incredible talented in time manipulation. He wanted to enlighten himself with the process of creating me to ascend to the Origin stage, from learning how to ascend another, he would in turn ascend himself even higher, and he did, and he got enlightened during the process. His laws of time were so profound that he threaded within the actual balance of the laws of time... something the laws of the universe didn't allow. A tribulation descended upon him, he knew that he wouldn't succeed, so he forced everything, all of his power, on the sword he was creating. Infusing his laws into the sword at the last minute before dying, he understood something, a taboo that could destroy the time of laws in the universe. With that maniacal, unending thought the sword was finally formed as a weapon to destroy time. The blacksmith fell from the sky but the tribulation didn't end and befell to the sword—the calamity was so strong that his entire plane of existence was destroyed—the sword was damaged and lost in the void.”

  Fuck! What a crazy old man, trying to destroy and surpass time itself.

  “After millions of years had passed the sword was finally repaired and started to foster its own awareness—that's me. Finally, years later I was found by a little girl named Shi Yin. She had an incredible innate potential, she was a genius like I had never seen before, together with my abilities she in no time became a peak existence in the universe. The more she grew, the stronger I became, we were together many years, we were like sisters. In the end, she couldn't control me anymore, I was created to destroy time itself and grant my being holder unlimited lifespan, but it remained that I, without the original time and existence that had been infused in the sword, couldn't remain. Shi Yin loved me like her sister, I begged her to destroy me. People started to die around her getting their lifespan absorbed by me, in the end Shi Yin couldn't accept that fact that we had to kill others, and she shared her lifespan with me.” This entity that looked like Shi Yin paused and tears could be seen in her eyes.

  “I was slowly killing Shi Yin for the sake of my existence, when Shi Yin reached the latest years of her longest life, we found a method to help me survive without the sword. We decided to separate my soul and time itself, and destroy the sword. Shi Yin split her soul in two, the second part was supposed to extract me... and absorb me, but without the support of my soul the sword body became unstable. Shi Yin wasn't strong enough to control the explosion, and we both died in the end. During the explosion something happened to a part the sword containing a fragment of the time law, fused with my soul, Shi Yin’s soul and mine fused together and we were reincarnated into what you see in front of you now. I am a curse, from the first moment Shi Yin got reincarnated, I was like a second personality of hers and my soul fused with her flesh, causing her to have an abnormal body that needed time from others to exist. Still there is not enough time for her to grow up or to try
to control me, every time she starts to mature, either her body decays, or she gets killed because people think she's a calamity. She usually dies from a tribulation of some sort, or dies because she can't absorb the time of others. This process repeated itself during thousands of years, this is her 92,634 reincarnation, she’s never lived past six years old. I sealed that time law, or the past, every time we were reborn into her memories. That's why I have to thank you. Thanks to you, she lived past six years old. Although her body is progressing in reaching her limits, she's too young to control time, plus her flesh needs more time to grow in order to facilitate such power, and I cannot increase the rate of absorption from you, our soul is too weak for that.”

  “Slow down a bit, I need to digest all of this information, this is too much for me right now.” Seriously, I was speechless, being a part of 92,634 reincarnations… how do you deal with someone you love dying every single time?   Seriously, what a crazy life both girls have... if it wasn't for my soul being strong, I think my mind would have exploded and have caused me to drift off into space already.

  “My plan is to reverse the situation, I will forcefully split myself and the time sword fragment from Shi Yin’s soul by using your lifespan. The fragment of the sword fused in our souls is too powerful to allow it to exist, even though it's a tiny fragment, it still remains that it can absorb much time. I will use your lifespan to strengthen my soul and control the fragment to forcefully separate myself from Shi Yin’s soul, it will also consume the fragment’s total strength.”

  Shi Yin gritted her teeth, she knelt down, her forehead pressed against the cold floor, she pleaded, “Please... I only need 10,000 years, with that I'm sure to finally free Shi Yin from the curse. Otherwise, she will die again and we will continue on this endless loop forever! If we succeed, she can finally reincarnate without this curse,” she looked at me, she pulled off her space ring from her finger and threw it at me.

  “What's the meaning of this?” I asked smiling at her, I knew the truth behind this gesture.

  “Sorry! The Shi family remains are fake, the only thing that truly remains is inside the space ring! It was the only way to kill the Shi family member... they meant ill will toward Shi Yin, they deserved to die!”

  I guessed right that it was all a lie, her goal was to put Shi Yin in a safer place by using me, not her grandpa... I was a little bit pissed at being put in the dark and being used like this.

  “You are quite shameless and cruel don't you think? It suits you, your name being Demon Timeless Sword. You didn't stop at anything, you used me and buried an entire family.” I mocked her.

  “I will stop at nothing for Shi Yin! It's my fault that she ended up like this! Please help me!”

  I was quite delighted, seeing this top peak of existence kneeling and pleading to me, after all, I had to take a little bit of an advantage of the situation.

  “Oh, do you think the inside of this lousy storage ring is enough to exchange for 10,000 years of lifespan?” I kept teasing her, could it be that I actually like being a bully now?

  “I know it's not enough, even though I will die in the process, and the fragment of the sword will be severely damaged and lose 99% of its power—it remains as a divine artifact! You can use that fragment as a core for a weapon. In the future, it's possible for that weapon to evolve into a divine artifact!”

  “Agreed! Now you cannot go back on your word” I laughed at her. What a bargain!

  “You! You were just teasing me you did that on purpose...”

  “There is not much time, are you absolutely clear on the requirements of the process?” Shi Yin’s form said.

  “I'm not that dumb... you can go ahead and start,” I said to her.

  I could see her bearing a lot of pain, after a few minutes Shi Yin’s bodies collapsed, a soul appeared in front of me, a featureless beauty, she looked exactly like Shi Yin, except that her hair was white. Hovering in front of her in a cloud of smoke, there was the tiny fragment... which added an aura of mystery to her beauty. This must be the Demon Timeless Sword’s soul. She smiled at me through the mist, what a pity that this beauty will cease to exist. Within a second, her aura transmuted inside my body, I could feel the tiny sword fragment absorbing my lifespan at an insane speed...

  I grabbed Shi Yin and I could feel Shi Yin’s time flowing backwards. She became smaller, a few minutes later she would be a baby... after some time she remained only a foetus. I could feel the fragment getting smaller, and the souls dissipating out of existence. This process continued for several minutes more until there was nothing left of Shi Yin’s body. Only one, pure soul floated, a young woman, her appearance was incredibly stunning and alluring. Her body was that of a woman in her twenties, she was fully developed. I indulged myself, thoroughly looking over her entire body, her perfect feet, her long slender legs, her round and perfect butt. Her delicate and beautiful hand could take your soul away just with a touch and her bosom was imposing, her peaks were simply perfect... yet it was almost impossible to take your eyes away from her beautiful face, any man would remain enchanted upon seeing her.

  There is no woman more perfect than her.

  “Unseal!” A ray of light hit Shi Yin’s soul. Slowly, Shi Yin’s soul turned into a ball of light ascending to the skies...

  “Goodbye Shi Yin.” The dissipating soul said, looking to the skies.

  Chapter 34

  Weapon

  I also watched as Shi Yin ascended to the unknown skies. Somehow, I felt that this girl, who looked like my sister... that I would meet her again sometime in the future.

  “You will,” said the dissipating soul from the Demon Timeless Sword. “I unsealed her memories, they also include what happened with you. Don't worry I erased the part where you were playing with your little brother. Thank you again for helping Shi Yin, allowing this time to reincarnate normally. My soul is dissipating, and it's too damaged, I fulfilled my part, even though the fragment of the divine artifact has almost lost its meaning and its functions, it can be still used to forge a weapon with the fragment as the core.” Her soul was slowly dissipating, I could see her with a calm and beautiful smile.

  I smiled at her and said, “Seems this is goo

  “When you encounter her again, tell her that I didn't regret it.”

  “Hahaha, you can tell her yourself! Absorb!”

  “Kid what are you...” The beautiful soul from the Demon Timeless Sword got absorbed by the System.

I think I can reach it in six months, I will try to level up to Mortal Realm, 8th rank by killing beasts. It had a long and white pole slightly curved, at the end of it there was an impressive black blade. I could feel the majestic aura emanating from it, this wasn't just a simple weapon to fight or to kill, it was a weapon for reaping souls!
