  I look at Kinsley with glossy eyes, and tell her “you have no idea what you just did. My mom is slowly becoming her old self again. I can’t thank you enough. I hated seeing my mom walk around a shell of herself.” Kinsley smiles at me “no problem, and I meant what I said she is beautiful she just needed someone to make her realize that.” I grab the back of her head, and we started kissing, but not like last time. I pull on her on my lap, and we are both kissing like it’s the last time we will get to. I will never get use to this feeling. But, I will do anything to keep this, and make sure no one comes between us.

  Chapter 17

  Kinsley

  After that heated make our session we had. We sat, and talked for another hour. It was nice to just talk with him. I’ve always had an attraction to him. I always was so weak for him, and yeah maybe I forgave him a little too easy, but he was just so cute, and nervous. I didn’t realize how much I wanted him until he said he wanted me to be his. He makes me feel like a little school girl getting her chance with her crush. Instead of the bad ass bitch I know I am.

  I think we both know this won’t be easy. Our clubs hate each other. Which reminds me to ask him what happened to make that happen.“Hey Grim?” He kisses my head “yeah baby?” I’m a little nervous. “What happened to make our clubs hate each other?” His face becomes dark, and cold. His voice becoming low, and rough “you’re fuckin club set mine on fire, and one of the fire bombs hit my mom.”

  I just sat there stunned at first…“so you were taking you’re rage out on me, because of what my club did?” He gives me a guilty pleading look “I’m sorry baby I was just so angry.” I shake my head “no I get it. I’m sorry that happened to her. She’s a beautiful person. But it’s still fucked up that I was a target because of my dad and brothers club.” He takes my hand, and kisses it “tell you what babe how about we promise each other. That no matter what happens between our clubs. We don’t let it affect us. Ok?.... that I won’t ever do anything like that again. I’m really sorry babe” I nod “sounds like a deal.” I look at him with a smile. I hope I’m always this happy

  He looks at me “what you smiling at.” I tell him “nothing I’m just happy.” He gives me one more kiss before saying “you ready to go? I’m sure you’re gonna have to deal with your brother.” And, there goes my mood “yea I guess I should finally go talk to him. I bet he’s watching the door just waiting to blow up at me.” He takes my hand, and helps me up “come on let’s go. If it gets too bad, and you need me to come get you just let me know.” I give a flirty innocence look “how will I let you know if I don’t have you’re number.” He smiles “give me your phone.” So I hand him my phone, and he puts his number in. Then I hear his phone go off “there I put my number in your phone, and texted mine so I have you’re number. I mean what I said. if you need me call me. I’ll drop whatever I’m doing to come get you.”

  I climb on the back of his bike, and we head back to the school once we reach my car. I jump off he grabs my waist, and brings me close, and kisses the life out of me. “Goodnight baby make sure you text me before you go to sleep, and let me know how it went.” I nod my head, and walk to my car. I wave at him. He gives me a smirk, and a salute. Once I’m in my car I take a breath. Just wow! So much has happened since I’ve returned from LA. I take off as soon as I pull up at the club. My brother rushes out of the door. Tigger is right behind him like he has any right to say shit. “What’s up brother?”

  He blinks at me “are you fuckin serious!?” I roll my eyes “before you even start your shit can we go to my room? I wanna keep this somewhat private for now.” We walk down to my room, and I find it seriously annoying that Tigger spends the whole week avoiding me. I mean like hard core avoidance. Now, the fucker wants to be included in this talk? Fuck that.

  Once we’re in my room. Yes Tigger to …my brother starts up “what the fuck were you doing on the back of his bike Kinsley?!” I walk around putting my back down “were kinda dating now...” He looks pissed “that doesn’t explain why you were on the back of his bike Kins. You know what that means just because y’all decided to date doesn’t mean you just jump on the back of his bike.” My jaw clenched I eye my brother “I’m not a fuckin dumbass bitch Kayden! I know what being on the back of his bike means!” Tigger jumps up for the first time, and yells “then why the fuck were you huh? The fucker violated you more than once!!!”

  I fuckin snapped “why the fuck you think you have any say in this. Tigger. I’m not going to keep saying it. You have no say in my life. Go back to your dumb bitch, and leave me the fuck alone.” The fucker thinks he can just make me look stupid, and I’ll just get over it!? Fuck no!

  I look to my brother “he apologized, and I’ve always been attracted to him. I’m sorry you don’t approve, but you have no say in who I’m with.” He’s standing there with his arms crossed. I continue “look I know what he did, but he apologized. He never knew what happen to me or he would of never done that. I accepted it because I know he had a good reason for doing it. Just like we all have good reason for doing the fucked up shit we do. I really like him Kayden.”

  He takes a deep breath “I just don’t want you to get hurt. Our clubs are at war Kinsley. How do you think this is going to work. How do you think dad is going to react!?” My blood runs cold “you’re not gonna tell him! You’re gonna let me work this out myself!” He scuffs “the fuck? We’re not keeping secrets for you Kinsley” My anger is building “why the hell not!? You didn’t tell dad that Tigger touched my pussy or was watching Dylan, and I fuck!” Tigger shouts “Jesus fuck Kinsley! Are you trying to get me killed!?

  I shake my head “I’m done talking about this. Keep your mouth shut or I’ll tell him you knew about Tigger the whole time, and didn’t say shit! Now get out.” I point to the door. My brother lets out a deep breath “I love you Kins. I’m just trying to look out for you.” I whip a tear from my eyes before it has a chance to fall “love you to brother, but I don’t need you’re protection. I’ve been taking care of myself for 3 years.” He nods “my point is you shouldn’t have had to.” I close, and lock the door behind them. Fuck this has been an emotional day. I have a lot on my mind, but what’s been bugging me the most is what Snake said about my mom. Could she really be alive and if so why did she leave? Was it on her own? Fuck I have so many questions. My phone rings snapping me out of my thoughts. It says Grim is calling.

  “Hello?”

  He clears his throat “uh, hey.. I was calling to check on you.”

  I palm slapped my forehead “I’m so sorry Grim a lot has been going on.”

  I can practically hear him smirking “so I want you to start calling me Jace.” He sounds nervous “I just don’t want you calling me what every other whore, and brother calls me. You’re my girl so only you and my mom are allowed to call me that. I want you to know how special you are.”

  My cheeks turn pink “ok baby I’d love to call you by your actual name. It’s pretty sexy.”

  He chuckles “ok baby imma let you get some sleep. Text me in the morning.”

  I’m such a girl when it comes to him.

  I wake up from the best sleep I had in a while. I’m sure it has everything to do with Jace being my man. I look over, and check my phone. Shit, I didn’t realize how late it was! Me and the girls today. We haven’t had a straight girl’s day in a while. I quickly throw on some jean shorts, and a t-shirt. It’s already 11:45 I slept way to fuckin late. I grab my cell phone, keys, and walk out. As I’m walking to my car I see my brother pull up on his bike. I wave to him as I jump in my car. About 20 minutes later I finally make it to the diner that’s close to the mall. When I walk inside I see their already there. “Hey guys sorry I’m late. How long y’all been here.”

  They look at me at the same time Keira says “not long we got here a few mins ago.” The waitress comes over, and takes our order. When she leaves I look over at my friends “some shit when down yesterday. I have a lot to tell y’
all.” When I know I have their attention “I am now Grim’s ole lady.” They both squeal at the same time. Keira is the first one to ask “you have to tell us everything! She slaps Cori’s shoulder “I told you they were gonna get together!” Cori just shrugs. I’m genuinely surprised she thought that “why the fuck would you think that!? We were at each other’s throats.” She laughed “girl please I could cut the sexual tension y’all have with a paper straw. I just grin, and recount everything that happened yesterday. We’ll everything, but Grim, his mom, and dad getting into it, because that’s not their business.

  Their happy for me. I knew they would be. “So what’s going on with y’all, and his friends?” They both blush I knew they liked his friends, and been hanging out. But, I wanna know if it’s just a fling or not. They tell me about their guys, and it sounds like feelings are getting deep. I’m happy for them. It’s seems everything is coming together. I just hope Grim’s friends feel the same.

  Cori asks “so are y’all going to the Halloween party together?” I shrug “I was thinking we could get ready together, and meet them there? What y’all think?” Keira does a funny dance “ fuck yes! That sounds like fun!” Just then I get a call from Jace my face lights up he says

  “hey babe, I was wondering if you have plans later? I wanna see you.”

  Aww he’s so sweet! “I wanna see you to. So the girls will be tagging along.”

  He replies “that’s cool we can meet at the hangout. I’ll bring the boys.”

  Oh the girls are gonna love this. “Ok babe, let’s meet at 5 does that work for you?”

  He chuckles “yeah that works miss bossy pants.”

  I laugh “ok then I’ll see you later.”

  I look up at the girls “I’m meeting Grim at the hangout. He said the boys will be with him if y’all wanna come.” They smile then their phones go off no doubt it’s the boys. Cori answered “yes girl! Let’s get these costumes so we can see our sexy ass men!”

  We spend an hour walking around, and finally found the perfect costumes. We wanted something sexy to knock them off their feet. But, also something that won’t show too much since we’ll be around a lot of people. I’m going to be a sexy swat woman, Keira is going to be a sexy army woman, and Cori will be a sexy cop... I know I’m late with doing this being that the party is in two weeks. But, I’ve just been distracted by everything thing, and everyone.

  We pull up to the hangout, and see the guys waiting by their bikes. Walking up I catch Grim’s eye, and he grins. When we reach him Grim wraps his arm around my waist, and pulls me to him. Everyone was staring as he gave me a kiss “how was your ‘girl day’?”

  I smiled “we had fun. We found our costumes for the halloween party.” He smiles “I missed you today. I couldn’t wait to see you’re sexy ass.” I smiled, and told him “I missed you to, and we were glad when y’all called to hang out.” He looked at me “do y’all want to play a game of pool?” We nod Keira says “hell yes! Let’s do teams! Guys grab a few rounds of drinks, and meet us by the table.” Ace gives a cat call “meow! Well you heard the boss let’s grab some drinks.”

  Let me tell you! The girls were extremely competitive during the games. It was so funny everyone roasting each other, and laughing. I sat on Grims lap when it wasn’t our turn to play. I’ve never been so happy. We ended up having more than just a couple of drinks, and it’s going right through me. I leaned over, and whispered in Grims ears “I’m going to the bathroom.” He gave me a kiss, and I walked off.

  While I was in the stall I heard a couple people walk in the other stalls. I was washing my hands when the other stalls unlock. So I look up into the mirror, and my eyes lock on to Ashley. She rushes up before I can react to what’s happening. My head is slammed face first into the mirror! Her hand grabs my hair, and yanks me back as hard as she could. I’m a little dizzy from the initial impact.

  I instantly felt blood run down my face. When I looked up I saw Ashley, and her friends standing there smiling. I go to get up when something is slammed across my face my guess a pool stick. It fucking hurts like a bitch. Fuck. She said “you should have taken my advice, and stayed the fuck away!” I get to my knees, and brace my hands on the ground about to push myself up when I hear a ‘whoosh’ sound right before I felt the harsh whip against my back. I fell to my stomach. They hit me repeatedly until I was to numb to move.

  Then I heard a click like a pocket knife locking in place. Fuck this bitch is gonna kill me! One of her friends speak up “what the fuck Ashley!? You said we were teaching her a fuckin lesson not killing her!!” I guess this wasn’t part of their plan. Ashley cut a slice in my arm “ I’m not gonna kill her. Just having a little fun!” The girl responded “come on Ashley she learned her lesson! Just look at her!” Ashley then slashed my stomach. The girls screamed “no! Fuck this Ashley. we’re out!” They ran out. Ashley bent down, and said “let this be a lesson bitch. Stay away from both Grim, and Tigger! They are not yours!” She followed them, and left.

  I laid there for a while. I don’t know how long I was there or how bad my head or the cuts were. I know I was fucked up. I couldn’t move. I heard the bathroom door open. It was getting harder to keep my eyes open. I hear girls screaming “oh my god! Cori gets the guys!” I feel some pressure on my head, and I moan. “Don’t worry Kins were getting you some help.” I could hear her sobs as the lights started getting dimmer. I tried telling her I was ok, but it was only coming out in moans, and grumbles. Eventually, the darkness consumed me.

  Chapter 18

  Grim

  I’m sitting at the bar with my friends when all of a sudden I hear “Grim! Grim!” I see Cori running to me with a panicked look written across her face. Tears running down her face. I can feel something happened with Kinsley. Please don’t let it be Kinsley. She reaches for me “what’s wrong Cori?”

  The boys get up behind me. She starts tugging on my arm “you need to come to the bathroom quick! it’s Kinsley!” The moment the words left her lips I was sprinting through the hangout to the bathroom. When I slammed through the door my stomach dropped nothing could prepare me for what I would see. Fuck! I see my girl unconscious on the bathroom floor with blood, and glass everywhere! I kiss my girl on the forehead. When I find out who did this ima kill them. I grab Kinsley’s phone, and look to the girls “stay with her I need to make a call.” They nod I walk out. I take a deep breath, and call her brother

  “Hey what’s up Kins?”

  I clear my throat “Hey Ghost? It’s Grim.”

  His tone quickly changes “what the fuck? Why are you calling me off my sisters' phone?”

  “Look I don’t have time to explain I need to get back in there. I need you to come to the hangout.”

  He scuffed “why the fuck would I do that!?”

  My patience snapped “just fuckin listen! Come in your truck! Also, bring the club doctor with you. Kinsley needs one.”

  He roars “What the fuc—.”

  I hung up because I don’t feel like arguing. I walk back to the bathroom, and kneel down by Kinsley. “Don’t worry baby I got you.” I pick her up, and walk her out the back. So no one would see her like this. Everyone is following. Once we reach the parking lot I set Kinsley down, and just hold her against me. I look to her friends “did y’all see anyone leave the bathroom before y’all came in?” They shake their heads their eyes red from crying. Not even 10 minutes later her brother and Tigger pull up with the doctor. I place Kinsley’s head on Cori's lap, and get up. Her brother starts yelling “somebody better start fucking talking!” He pushes me.

  I see out of the corner of my eye Tigger bee-line to her. “Fuck. Doc!! Get over here!” I Focus on her brother “was this whole relationship with y’all another one of your fuckin games?! Was that you’re fucking plan get her to let her guard down to do this shit.” I fuckin lost it “fuck you Ghost that’s my fuckin girl over there you piece of shit !! We can fuckin fight shit out later!! I for one will be making sure my girl’s ok first!” Th
at shut him the fuck up. The doctor finishes checking her over “put her in the truck Tigger. I need more tools, and better lighting to stitch her up. When she wakes up I’ll check for a concussion.”

  Her brother pulls the ends of his hair. I know he wants to kill me, but Kinsley comes first. I rush over, and block Tigger from picking her up “the fuck man. Get out of my way!” I shake my head “fuck that she’s my girl. I’ll put her in the truck.” Tigger mutters something I couldn’t really hear, but he moves back. I pick her up, and lay her down in the backseat of his truck. I turn to ghost “I’ll follow y’all.” He shakes his head “my dad will kill you on sight. I’ll call you when she’s awake.” I shake my head “fuck that! I’m not leaving her!” Ghost narrows his eyes “ well the doc needs a better workplace, and fuckin tools so you’re just gonna have to get over it.” I look to Gear “we still got all that supplies at the playhouse?” He nods “yeah.” I look back to her brother “we go there no one gets killed. If you don’t follow me. I’ll make sure my friends tell Kinsley just how much of an asshole you are being. I will show the fuck up at your club whether you kill me or not!” Her brother nods and I race to my bike, and jet off! I don’t care how they feel about it. I’m not leaving Kinsley until I know she’s alright. I’ll do whatever I have to, to make sure I'm by her side.
