Shawna, Izzy’s best friend is in book three a lot, and will be the main character in book four. She’s a burlesque performer and loves to dance. I wanted to make sure we all felt, and understood what it was like to be a burlesque performer. Most importantly, what it is like to wear a corset for several hours. So, thank you to Madame Masters House of Burlesque here in Charlotte, NC for all your help. I had so much fun meeting all the performers, and learning everything about burlesque … even what it feels like to wear a corset. By the way, the corset makes you feel so sexy and fun!
Thank you to my family and friends for all your continued support and love on my writing adventure! We all seem to be amazed together about where this adventure has taken me. I think the best part for me, knowing my Grandma loves my writing. She even stayed up till 6:00 a.m. to finish “Catch Me!”
