“I know,” she says with a raised eyebrow.

  “You do?” he asks.

“Yep. I recorded the whole damn thing. Just. In. Case.”

“You didn’t,” he tries to call her bluff.

She kisses him on the forehead and walks to me. I pull her into my side and kiss her on the temple.

“Best one ever,” I tell her as we walk towards the venue.

“Let’s see if he tries to dethrone me now,” she chuckles.

“My fucking queen,” I lean down and kiss her lips.

  “I love you, Johnny.”

  “I love you too, baby.”

  “Wanna fuck?” she asks.

  “Affirmative.”

Thank you for reading Under the Cornerstone. I hope you’ve enjoyed the long and emotional journey these characters have been through. This isn’t the last you’ll see Johnny, Noely, Jimmy, Rich, and Ryan. You’ll see them all again soon.

  Love,

  Sasha

  Leave A Review

If you loved this book, please take a few minutes and leave reviews on every single site you can. I’m an independent author, so I depend on amazing readers to spread the word about my books. I don’t have a publisher’s money backing the works. I have all of you and these stories. Thank you for all the love and support.

  Stalk Sasha

I love to talk to my readers. I’m most active on my Facebook page, and I always email back. I’m a procrastinator, but I promise you’ll always get a response from me. I enjoy hearing about your journey through the books. Don’t forget to check out the character profiles on my website.

  Acknowledgements

Acknowledgements, what in the hell do I acknowledge? That’s what I ask myself the sixth time I write this section. I want to acknowledge the readers who live inside my world, the ones who spend hours of their lives reading a story I wrote. Thank you. I don’t think you know how incredibly amazing it is to me that you chose this book, or any book written by me. In a world inundated with literature and indie authors, you gave this one a chance. Thank you for your time.

I also need to thank the ladies on the street team. Shit, I can’t do this without you. It never fails to amaze me how selfless you are with your time. For every blog post, author hop, release party, proofread, edit, message, idea, teaser, and kind thought, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. There’s a place in this world, with you, where I hang out with my friends and talk about the crazy shit I make up in my head, and you ladies actually think I’m cool. Being an author is much doper than living in the real world.

Nate, thanks for being Kip. Holy shit, you’re the perfect man for the job. Kermit also says to tell you, “I’ll never forget.” The poor thing still has nightmares about flagpoles.

Grush, you’re a dirty pirate hooker, which is why I love you. Thanks for the delayed reaction to tit pics, and for your undying faith in me. One day we’ll actually take over the world.

Kathy, get the fuck outta here! I’m so lucky to have met you, and found a friend in you. I also know that if I ever tour this country or world, I’m taking you as part of the security team just so I can watch you tell people to get the fuck outta here! Thank you for years of support, devotion, and guidance. I’m working on your phone book.

Donna C, Donna J, and LaDonna, I’ve met you through a mutual friend and we’ve quickly become friends. There are people whose name pop up on my phone from time to time, and it simply elicits a smile. You are two of those people. Thank you for your support and help.

Teresa, the things you have done for releases and in the name of supporting my work still blows my mind. I have no idea how I was lucky enough to find you, but I am grateful that I did. One day I hope to throw my arms around your neck and tell you face-to-face how much your support and love has impacted me as an author. For now, I can only say thanks here. I’m not sure if you realize how much it means for someone to show the level of dedication to my work that you have, but I hope this helps to send that message.

Leona, you were the first person who ever took a chance on me. I’ll never forget that, not as long as I live. We don’t talk every day, or even every week, but I’m always thinking of you. You have one of the kindest spirits I’ve ever met, and hopefully one day I can repay you by finding you that pirate you’ve been searching for. I’m not sure how else I can express how much I love you.

Jamie, there is never a day that goes by that I’m not tagged by you in a post where you relentlessly pimp me. I’m not sure what I did to earn your amazing friendship, but thank you. Your support and commitment make me emotional and shit.

Erika, Kim, Kathy, Leona, Polly, Lisa, Sherry, Mary, Chrissy, Lori, Jamie, Robyn, Mandi, Dicksy, Sharon, Amy, Terri, Brittany, Teresa (all three of you), Monica, Emily, Theresa, Donna C., Sloan, Donna J., LaDonna, and Tiffany, thank you for being my partners-in-crime. I think of all of you on a daily basis. I enjoy your humor and wish the world were full of people more like you. I appreciate your love and support more than words can ever express. I look forward to speaking to each of you every single time I get the chance. This is my ride or die crew, always dope as fuck.

Highly Suspect, thank you for the inspiration. It takes someone exceptionally talented to write a song great enough to inspire an entire novel. I hope that your careers are filled with achievement and prosperity. I wish for your personal lives; love, enlightenment, peace, passion, compassion, and humility. I hope that as your artistry grows, you each grow as well. Remember that fame is one of the loneliest places in the world, so keep your circle tight, do right by others, and be original. Don’t let greed or ego dim your light, as they’ll never keep you warm at night. You have a sound unlike anyone I have ever heard, and that authentic sound is what drew me to your music. I can’t say you sounded like any other band or artist. Thank you for your brilliance.

I never intentionally leave someone out, so if your name wasn’t specifically mentioned, it’s not that I don’t love you or think of you. It’s only that my memory is awful. I adore you all.

  Peace, Love, & Sasha
