“Hope they are not off to make more little kiddies” Percy laughs and I roll my eyes at him.
Epilogue
3 years later…….
“Don’t forget to call me!” My mum screams from the house.
“I won’t I promise” I yell back, Jake laughs at me before shifting.
Ivan nods to me and I turn away from him as he shifts, and wait for my brothers to finish before I close my eyes and let the shift begin.
“I’ll run by your side,” Reece says just as my shift completes.
I huff at him and we set off, the bag on my bag shuffles as I run but I ignore it, Reece stays by my side as my brothers stayed behind me.
I howl, letting my pack know that this is not goodbye forever. I hear my parents howl back and soon the whole pack join in.
We run for hours, jumping fallen logs and dodging bushes before we reach the human world.
I dash behind a tree and shift, once in my human form I stretch and pull my clothes on.
“Do you think we are safe?” Jake says as he walks from behind his tree.
“Let’s find out, Percy gave us this task and we cannot disappoint him” I reply, Reece grins and we head for somewhere to stay.
“Here should be good,” Ivan says after an hour of walking.
“Thank goodness, I’m shattered” I reply.
We rush into the hotel and I gasp at the golden beams, Reece shuts my mouth and wraps his arm around me.
“Two rooms please,” Jake says, the reception lady scoffs at us and I roll my eyes as Jake pulls out a wallet full of money.
The woman's eyes widen but she inputs our request and I grin as she gives us the keys.
I rush the lift and wait for the rest to join me.
“This is so fancy” Jake mutters with distaste in his voice.
“It’s awesome!” I reply while bouncing on my feet waiting to go to my room.
I laugh as the lift’s doors open to our floor “Come on!” I say as I grab Reece’s hand and drag him out.
“We need to get a plan together first” Jake kills my buzz and I grumble at him.
“Remember what happened last time we didn’t have a plan?” He mutters and I roll my eyes as we head to the room my brothers will share.
Jake pulls out a map once we get into his room, I nod at the map and pull out a pen to mark on it.
“So we need to train if we are going to fulfil Percy’s wishes we need to be the best we can be,” He says and I nod.
I zone out of the conversation and wait for the boys to stop talking about plans.
“Let’s get some sleep” Jake says after three hours of his voice ringing in my ears.
“Thank god” I reply.
Reece laughs and we go to find our room. I shove the door open and sigh as Reece kisses my neck, I tilt my head and his fangs gently slide against my skin.
I close my eyes as his fangs sink into my vein, his love for me beating at my mind. Once he has fed he lets me go, I sit on the bed and wait for him to come sit down with me.
“This is going to be the best and worst mission ever” He mutters, the worry clear in his eyes.
“Don’t worry if we could save our pack we can do this!” I smile and get up to cuddle him from behind.
He turns and hugs me back, I pull him towards the bed and he laughs before picking me up and throwing me into the bed.
I giggle as he lays down next to me, his arms close around me and I sigh and the feeling of being safe rushes my veins.
“Good night,” I say as I yawn, my eyes closing on their own.
“Good night, see you tomorrow” Reece laughs and I feel him kiss my head before nuzzling my neck.
I let the darkness take over as my mind shuts off.
