The Sounds of War (The Genesis Series Book 2)

Carl turned out a lamplight, straightened and smiled. “A star gate, the tower was a star gate, imagine that.”
“Well, that’s what I want to prove, and so far my research is leading me to believe I’m on the right path. However, before I commit to it, I need additional evidence. Also, before I forget, you’ll find this tidbit interesting. I read an article today published in an English new journal. A civilian who was traveling with the U.S. troops when they were stationed in Iraq sometime about 2004 wrote the article. It seems that our army did some excavation while they had temporary stations in and around the ancient ruins of Babylon. According to the article, Nimrod’s remains were found.”
“Yeah, you know I’ve heard that before, can’t recall at the moment who I heard it from through.” Carl frowned, as he said, “How on earth could anybody be certain it was Nimrod?”
“Don’t know but anyhow, my hope is tomorrow I can find something in the more recent archives to base an opinion on about the location of the tower...oh yeah. One more little fact, the phrase, ‘they were seeking to build a name for themselves,’ the word for name according to Strong’s is shem. It uses the lower case, not the proper name like the son of Noah. At any rate, as I searched through several old dictionaries today looking for a definition to something else, I happened to look up the word shem. It’s a very old Hebraic word and it carries the connotation a shem is an instrument of sound. They were trying to achieve a particular sound is my conclusion.
“So just maybe, somehow, the builders of the tower were trying to manipulate the electromagnetic fields of Earth and create portals with sound. Perhaps the tower was to be the controlling tower of all of the others; you know a whole system of teleportation portals. Maybe the plan was to make a transportation system through spatial dimensions via sound. And maybe other pyramids and ziggurats around the globe were to be a network of portals. The Tower of Babel the Supreme Command Station was to be the original World Wide Web, who knows?”
Carl laughed, “Whoa! I wish you luck in proving that! I seriously doubt you’re going to have much success but don’t let my skepticism keep you from blazing on. If any of what you have supposed should be true, I can see how that one tower could keep the people from being scattered. Especially if they were attempting to form a network of star gates. At least they had unity of purpose.”
Caleb smiled, “My thoughts exactly, and the deeper I dig, the more I’m convinced fallen angels were the instigators of the tower. They were up to something, exactly what I don’t know.” Caleb yawned again, “Hey, thanks for putting me up for the night, but if you will excuse me, I must get some sleep.”

And God spoke to Israel in the visions of the night, and said, “Jacob, Jacob!” And he said, “Here am I.” So he said, “I am God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt.” Genesis 46:2-3a, NKJV
In thoughts from the visions of the night, when deep sleep falls on men, fear came upon me, and trembling, which made all my bones to shake. Then a spirit passed before my face; the hair of my flesh stood up: It stood still, but I could not discern the form thereof: an image was before mine eyes, there was silence. Job 4:13-16, KJV
I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. And on My menservants and on my maidservants I will pour out my Spirit. Joel 2:28-29
Emeleigh went to her lab after dinner and worked until midnight, between the episode in the parking lot and the tediousness of her research, her neck muscles were taut and painful. Wanting nothing more than a hot bath, she turned out the lights and made her way slowly up the stairs to her room. Knotted muscles aching, she filled the tub and stepped over into the soothing water with the great expectation of relaxing. Pain melting in the heat of the water, she laid her head against the tub wall and closed her eyes. Immediately she was fast asleep.
“Emeleigh Gruen.”
Sitting up she looked around the room. She saw no one. I must be dreaming. Yet she knew a Presence was in the room with her, “Where are you? Who are you?” she whispered.
I come at the command of Adonai. You must remember peace is always with you, so don’t be afraid. You have a special mission, an assignment that will take you into your enemy’s territory as a spy. After you probe your enemy’s dominion and understand the past, you will return to your family. I have given you this dream and you will remember this message but not until you are positioned in the territory of your enemy. Now rest, I leave with you an extra measure of peace!
Leaving Emeleigh sleeping in the tub, the messenger walked through the wall to the adjacent room. There for a few seconds he watched as Elijah who was also sleeping turned in his sleep. Again, the messenger chose to deliver his message as a dream.
Elijah’s eyes sprang open with a start. There was something sinister…he couldn’t finish the thought. His eyes fell upon the strange equipment that crowded the room. His heartbeat increased and so did the panic he felt. He knew he had never been in the room before, yet there was something strangely familiar about it. Taking a deep breath, trying to regain composure, he realized it wasn’t the room that was familiar, but the smell. The stench of sulfur filled the room. It made him sick to his stomach and reminded him of the events of the previous fall. Hearing movement, a chill ran down his spine, but had to know if he was alone. Stammering he whispered, “Who…who is there?”
“I’ll tell you who I am, if you’ll do the same.”
Instantly recognizing his sister’s voice he answered, “Eme, that you?” As he spoke, he tried sitting up but was unable. His hands were in restraints.
“Yes…Elijah?”
“Yeah, do you have any idea where we are?”
“No. I’m strapped down to something like an operating table, are you all right?”
“Yeah, I’m tied down too. My right hand hurts but other than that I’m fine, you?
“Yes, I’m fine, but like you my right hand hurts. Wait. Shh…someone’s coming. Be still, and pretend to be asleep.”
Seconds later, Elijah strained with every ounce of his will not to respond when he felt his eyelid pulled upward but he wasn’t capable of quashing the scream that gave voice to his terror. He sat up in bed wide-awake.
Although Elijah had not cried out in his sleep, his heart was pounding like a war drum. Sweat beading on his forehead, he laid back on the bed and began to pray the image of his dream would not imprint onto his brain. He had to repeat aloud, “It’s only a dream,” several times for his heart to return to normal. Turning onto his stomach, he heard a soothing voice carrying the weighty presence of peace command, “Elijah, be at peace.”
“Lord, is that you?” Elijah turned back over and looked about the room. He saw no one or any displacement of space, but he clearly heard the answer when it came.
“I have been sent to you by Yeshua. I’m to show you what you will soon experience. You and Emeleigh are to be sent to the enemy’s camp. There you will learn of their schemes. Be at peace and do not fear. It is important for you to not fear or to attempt to protect yourselves. And it’s equally important you do not let what you see disturb the peace of God within you. The Lord will be with you, you know his word. You cannot go anywhere that he does not go with you. You will understand this message when your dream becomes a reality. I leave with you an extra measure of peace.”
The messenger stepped through another wall, and again he did not manifest, but his presence was none the least felt the moment he spoke, “Kirsten.”
Pacing the floor of her bedroom, Kirsten froze upon hearing her name.
“Kirsten.”
Spinning, she looked for the one who spoke her name.
“Kirsten, I’m here to help you find peace and to rest.”
Tears trickling down her cheeks, she sat on her bed. “All right, I’m listening,” she whispered.
“Read and study the Gospel of John, chapter two, Holy Spirit will help you as
you decode this passage. There’s a hidden message you need to understand. Justin is in your life because the Father willed it, yet the fulfillment of certain events must occur before you or he will be ready for marriage. You must pray that Justin will have a John 2 experience. Adonai will appoint it, if you pray.”
When sure his message was in her heart the messenger made his final call of the evening.
Joshua awoke the instant the messenger stepped into his room. Lifting his head off his pillow, he looked about, and when he neither saw nor sensed the reason for the interruption of sleep, he turned over and started to bury his face into his pillow. Instantly, the pillow became a movie screen, and suddenly he realized he was looking at the far reaches of the universe. He could see the many galaxies revolving and spinning about the cosmos with indescribable beauty. The second he realized what he was viewing, he began to fly with tremendous speed toward the Milky Way, and as he neared the vastness of his home galaxy, he saw Earth in the far distance. And again, the moment he was cognate of where he was and what he was witnessing he was again, hurled through the magnitude of space. This time toward the beautiful blue and white globe called, Earth. Faster than the blink of an eye, he fell from the outer atmosphere of his home planet into something that caused awe to become bewilderment.
Precipitously, tiny balls of light, which had something spinning about their perimeters, began to spin around his head. Unable to understand what he was observing, he stepped closer and saw, to his amazement, what appeared to be bands of sub-atomic particles. The bands had strange symbols written across them. As he looked closer, he realized the symbols resembled the twenty-two letters of the Hebraic alphabet. As the bands began to spin faster, he could see words forming.
For several seconds, Joshua held captive by astonishment, was perfectly still. Then from somewhere overhead he heard a sound, a swishing hum. He suddenly understood the bands were creating the strange but familiar sound of, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh.
“What on Earth?” Joshua asked aloud as he stared at his pillow.
“Atoms,” came the answer.
“Atoms,” he repeated not even thinking about who answered him.
“Yes, what you are seeing are representations of atoms. The bands you see contain the words of El Elyon the Creator as he spoke creation into existence eons ago. The hum is the vibration of the sub-atomic particles as they form physical reality.”
“Oh my gosh.” Josh closed his eyes and whispered, “‘He holds all things together by the power of his Word!’”
“Right, and where there is a breach in his creation, he has given the believer the power to speak life and repair the breach through your words matching his sound. If your words are his words, then no word will return to him void but will accomplish that which he sent it to do. El Elyon’s words in heaven are everlasting. Joshua, you establish them in Earth. You overcome the enemy by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. Yeshua said that his words are truth, life, and spirit, so use his words to counter the deception of the enemy. His angels listen for his words in order to perform them. Decree his promises, and it shall be established.”
Joshua turned to look at who spoke, but he was alone. Speaking to himself he said, “That’s what the whooshing was all about.”

The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining: And the Lord shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great. Joel 2:10-11a, KJV
Consider, my soul, the mightiness of the Lord who is thy glory and defense. He is a man of war Jehovah is His name. All the forces of heaven are at His beckoning, legions wait at His door, cherubim and seraphim, watchers and holy ones, principalities and powers, all attentive to His will. If our eyes were not blinded by the ophthalmia of the flesh, we should see horses of fire and chariots of fire round about the Lord’s beloved. The powers of nature are all subject to the absolute control of the Creator: stormy wind and tempest, lightning and rain, and snow, and hail, and the soft dews and cheering sunshine, come and go at His decree. The bands of Orion He looses, and He binds the sweet influences of the Pleiades. Earth, sea, and air, and the places under the earth, are the barracks for Jehovah’s great armies; space is His camping ground, light is His banner, and flame is His sword. Charles Spurgeon
One hundred and one years after the Great Flood, Peleg was born to Eber. Eber the son of Shelah, Shelah the son of Arphaxad, who was the son of Shem. In the fourth generation after the flood, the princes of the tribes of Shem, Japheth, and Ham, assembled and divided the territories of Earth.
Peleg, the explorer and mapmaker, mapped the globe and because he understood the benefits of each continent, his great-great grandfather, Shem went to Noah and asked for a conclave with Noah and his brothers in order that they might divide the territories of Earth.
Utilizing the advice of Peleg, agreements were formally drawn and put into place. Noah, Melek of Earth, granted the petitions and divided the surface of Earth between his sons. The tribes of Japheth, primarily maritime people, desired to live along the coastlines of the Mediterranean Sea. In time, they would spread northward toward Greece, eventually establishing the territories of the European continent. Naturally, Japheth’s tribe sought control for the islands of the seas. England and Ireland, and the lands of the north were Japheth’s and his sons; they built Stonehenge and other such monolith edifices across Europe.
The sons of Ham, with their ever-increasing multitudes, traveled south and settled in the lands of Egypt and Ethiopia establishing the territories of the African continent; they would build the pyramids and form great civilizations along the Nile.
Through Shem, the Semitic tribes demanded and received the territories of their father, Noah. They spread eastward as their numbers increased. The Semites continued moving east, some going to the Himalayas and in due course to the China Sea. They built the ziggurats of Mesopotamia.
Following the division of territory, two sons were born. One from the lineage of Ham and the other from the lineage of Shem, and from these two the course for human history would be set. The first of these two men the Bible refers to as Nimrod, the second Abram.
Cush, the eldest son of Ham brought a young woman into his house. She became his wife and through her, he fathered a son he named Enmerkar.
Satan saw the advent of Enmerkar’s birth as an opportunity to implement yet another plan. Ham never sought forgiveness for stealing the garments from Noah, nor for leaving his father exposed. Instead gave Cush, his eldest son, the garments.
Cush, believing the garments to be his birthright, naturally passed them to his favorite son, Enmerkar. Through Enmerkar, Satan would surreptitiously rule the world for a time. He would use one man to create a new world system of government. And before he was finished with Enmerkar, the king of darkness believed he at last, controlled Earth.
Deception had opened a portal, and through it, Satan had again gained entrance into the domain of man. Using the spirit of anger in Ham to influence Cush, Satan built within the power hungry Cush, a dwelling. Yet, it was within Enmerkar the full measure of rebellion manifested. A temple to worship rebellion became the Tower of Babel, and Babel gave birth to all false religions.

“And he prayed before the Lord his God, and said: ‘God of the spirits of all flesh, who hast shown mercy unto me and hast saved me and my sons from the waters of the flood, and hast not caused me to perish as didst the sons of perdition. For thy grace has been great towards me, and great has been thy mercy to my soul. Let thy grace be lift up upon my sons, and let not wicked spirits rule over them lest they should destroy them from Earth.’” Chapter 10, Book of Jubilees
The land divided and the population rapidly multiplying, men no longer feeling duty-bound to follow the traditions of the ancients, refused to respond whenever Noah blew the shofar. Instead, men developed a new ritual, which mainly consisted of doing anything, but attending the a
nnual assembly of worship. Men no longer believed in the benefit of Divine worship.
Frustrated by the lack of observance of piety, Noah still prepared a yearly altar and sacrifice, a goat sacrifice. After choosing two goats, identical to each other, he tied the first goat to the altar and a rope about the neck of the second goat, which he led off into a dry wilderness area. Placing his hands upon the goat’s head, Noah pronounced a curse, “Upon you I place the name Azazel, and upon you I lay all sin.”
Returning to the altar without the second goat, Noah prepared the first goat and sacrificed it on the altar and as the smoke rose to the Almighty, Noah bowed his knee and prayed, “Oh gracious Father, my sons, and their sons, have been led astray by teachings of those who are of the offspring of the Adversaries.
“You have shown mercy to me and saved my sons from the flood. I ask you to once again show mercy and save them from the sons of perdition. Do not let the wicked spirits of the disembodied Nephilim continue to rule over my sons, or their sons, nor the generations that follow.
“I am an old man, and it has been over two hundred years since the flood and in all this time, the multitudes of the disembodied spirits have plagued Earth and its inhabitants. The Watchers, the fathers of these spirits, are imprisoned and you hold them fast, but as for these malignant spirits, they roam Earth looking to inhabit any of their choosing. They have influenced and perverted the traditions of the ancients.
