Real opportunities exist if you know where to look.

Sometimes you have to be a little creative.

  Businesses can thrive in Parkersburg.

Usually it takes a will to survive.

Right away you know you are home.

Going away does not enter your mind.

  The Deer and the Hunter

  The deer topped the hill

  It was totally unaware

A hunter had it in his stare

The hunter was preparing for the kill

The deer stopped and stood still

This was to the hunter’s care

  The hunter fired his gun

  The deer heard the shot

  It began to run

The hunter had missed his spot

  The deer had gotten away

  He would live another day.

Was it coincidence or something stranger?

When I was married to my ex-wife, we lived in a house near Marietta Ohio. A little boy aged 5 had drowned in a swimming pool in the backyard of the house. My ex-wife and I noticed unusual activities in the house but thought nothing of them at first. Things would be misplaced when we were certain we had put them in a certain place and so forth. We just thought perhaps we were mistaken.

One night we pulled into the driveway and I had a vision of the little boy being drowned. I described the little boy to my wife right down to what he was wearing. At this point we had no idea that he ever existed. I told her where he was buried. The next day we drove to the cemetery and I took her straight to his grave. On his tombstone was a picture of the little boy wearing the exact clothing that I said he would be wearing. The only thing I had wrong was his name. It was George on the tombstone and I said it would be “Joey”. My ex said that Joey could have been a nickname for George however.

I insisted on going to the health department to look up the cause of death. When we found he had drowned I just about flipped my wig! I don’t believe in coincidences. Do you?
