  Jennifer is active in the North American Islamic community and is the author of the book, Believing as Ourselves (Amana, 2002), a practical guide for the empowerment of Muslim women. She has written articles for Ma’an News Agency (the largest wire service in the Palestinian Territories) and the Seattle Times, and has contributed to The Islamic Society of North America’s (ISNA) nationally circulated Magazine, Islamic Horizons.

  Jennifer lives in the shadow of Microsoft, in Redmond, Washington, with her husband, Ahmad, and their three children.
