Flirty Ever Afters: A Flirt Club Collection

Dropping my boxers, I climb between her thighs. My cock twitches, desperate to feel her heat. Taking myself in my hand, I rub the head through her wetness. She moans and I fight to stop myself from plunging inside her as deep as I can go in one move.

“Condom, Clay,” she whispers when I find her entrance and push in slightly.

“I’m clean, I fucking swear to you.”

  “I’m-I’m not on anything.”

“I’ll pull out. Just let me feel you. No barriers.”

She nods and I don’t waste any time in pushing farther inside her. Her entire body tenses with the foreign invasion. I knew she was a virgin. She’s dropped enough hints but knowing she’s going to be mine and mine only makes this so much more.

“I’m so fucking sorry,” I say, dropping my head to her neck and thrusting fully inside her.

She cries out in pain and I tense my muscles to stop me moving until she’s ready. I kiss and suck my way up her neck and across her jaw until I find her lips. My tongue sweeps into her mouth as I try to kiss her pain away. It’s not long before her body starts to relax slightly under me and my hips start to move. Slowly at first as I judge how she is but when the only noise that comes from her are whimpers of pleasure, I start to up the pace. Her pussy squeezes me so tightly that I know no matter how hard I fight that this is going to be over sooner than I’d like.

  “Clay,” she whimpers.

  “Is that good, baby?”

Brushing my hand over her stomach, I find her clit and gently circle it as I continue to thrust inside her.

“Oh.” Her eyes widen in surprise as I take her even deeper. “Oh God.”

“Let go,” I whisper in her ear. Her body shudders beneath me as her orgasm hits. Pushing myself up so I can see her, I watch as pleasure floods her body. My chest swells at the sight as her pussy squeezes me so tight that I’ve no choice but to fall over the edge with her. Sitting up, I reluctantly pull out of her. Fisting my cock, I empty myself over her lower stomach.

When I look up, her eyes lock on mine. There’s something inside them that makes my heart race. I try really hard not to allow my mind to focus on it, but I know it’s too late. I’m already falling, and fast.

“Don’t move.” Scrambling from the bed, I head into my bathroom and wet a washcloth.

When I reappear, she’s in exactly the same spot, her chest still heaving but the desire in her eyes has started to fade.

I make quick work of cleaning her up before throwing the dirty cloth on to the pile of discarded clothes on the floor. She might have only cleaned this place yesterday morning but I’ve already made a mess again.

  “I’m sorry about the mess.”

“Come here.” She holds her hand out for me. I slip mine into hers and crawl onto the bed beside her. “What are you going to do?”

I know what’s she’s asking, but I’m not ready to deal with that. “I thought we could just stay in bed all day.”

“As incredible as that sounds, cowboy. That’s not what I mean. You need to go and see your aunt.”

  “I know, I just…”

“I’ll come with you and if it gets to be too much, we’ll leave. But you’ve got to at least try. For her.”

Emotion clogs my throat. “You’d do that for me?”

“Clay, I’d do pretty much anything for you.” She bites down on her bottom lip the moment she registers what she just said. “Shit, I uh…”

“Shh…the feeling’s mutual, baby.” Leaning over her, I capture her lips hoping to put off the inevitable just a little while longer.

  Jessie

Clay holds my hand with a death grip as we walk toward the hospital entrance.

He comes to a stop and I turn, expecting him to do the same and leave. But instead, he stares at the entrance sign and blows out a long breath. Every muscle in his body is tense. I can only imagine the memories this is dragging up for him. He’s only told me the basics of what happened, but that’s enough to know that the experience must have been terrifying.

“You can do this, Clay. Just think how happy she’ll be to see you.”

He nods but doesn’t say anything as he slowly puts one foot in front of the other. His uncle must have already filled him in on where they are because he heads straight toward the elevator. It’s just a short walk down a deserted corridor before he comes to a stop outside a ward.

“This is where they both were. I only got to visit them once before—” Too choked up to continue, he tips his head back and looks to the ceiling. I desperately want to do something to help, to lessen his pain but other than be here right now, I’ve no idea what to do.

After a few seconds, he looks forward once again and before he can change his mind, he pushes through the door.

“Maybe I should wait…” I trail off when we come to a stop by a room.

“You said you’d do this with me.”

Guilt twists my insides, but this is a private family thing, surely I won’t be welcome.

“You come in with me or we’re leaving.”

  “Okay, okay.”

Knocking lightly on the door, Clay pushes it open and steps in, my hand still firmly in his.

“Clay,” a weak female voice says, and he tenses.

“It’s okay.” Pressing my hand into his lower back, I push him farther into the room.

“Oh, Clay,” his aunt cries and he steps away from me to go to her.

I hang back by the door not wanting to intrude. I’m so lost watching Clay embrace his aunt that the sound of a male voice next to me makes me jump.

  “So you must be Jessie.”

  “Oh…uh…yeah. How do you—”

“You’ve really cast a spell over my nephew, haven’t you?”

“H-have I?” My heart races, the only thing I can hear as he smiles down at me is the blood rushing past my ears.

“He’s never even mentioned a girl’s name to us before, so I know he must be serious about you. Plus, you got him here. I’ve been trying to tell Myra since she woke that he wouldn’t come no matter how many times she asked, but you did it.”

“I didn’t do anything.” I awkwardly look at my feet. Although my heart wants everything he’s saying to be true, I know I need to be careful. I’m right on the cusp of this thing between us becoming too serious…too serious for a summer fling, that’s for sure.

“You know as well as I do that that’s a lie.”

I go to respond although I’ve no idea what to say when another voice distracts me.

“Jessie? Come over here, sweetie. Let me see the girl who’s captured my boy’s heart.”

I’m a little light-headed as I walk over. Both her and Clay’s stare burns into me, but when I look up, it’s only his eyes I find. They’re intense like usual, but there’s something else in them. Something serious yet hopeful. They reflect exactly how I’m feeling.

“Hi,” I say weakly. But that’s not enough for her because she clasps my hands in hers and pulls me in for a hug.

“Thank you for looking after my boy.”

“You’re welcome,” I just about manage to get out past the lump in my throat.

“I think they liked you,” Clay says when we’re back in his cabin after our hospital visit. Thankfully he seemed to relax once he was with his aunt and uncle and we ended up staying longer than I was expecting.

“They’re both lovely, and accepting seeing as I blindsided them a little.”

“They were expecting you, don’t worry.”

  “They were?”

“In case you didn’t notice, they know all about you.”

  “I noticed.”

  “They’re a little over-excited about me having a girl.”

  “You’ve got a girl?”

“I have if she wants me.” Pushing me up against the wall in his living room. His hips pin me in place and his palms rest on my cheeks.

  “Hmm… she’ll think about it.”

“Will she now?” A smirk twit
ches at his lips and I smile seeing my cheeky cowboy reappear after the stress of today.

“Maybe I can do something to convince her.” I squeal when I’m thrown over his shoulder, marched into his bedroom and none too gently thrown down onto his bed.

He wastes no time in ripping his clothes from his body and before long he’s standing bare before me.

“Well, what are you waiting for?”

“A little help?” I give him what I hope is a seductive smile and reach my hand out. He takes it and pulls me from the bed. My clothes soon join his on the floor.

Leaving me standing where I am, he climbs onto the bed and lies back. “Come here,” he instructs and I’ve no choice but to do as I’m told. “Do you want to be a real cowgirl?”

I nod shyly, my hair falling around my face as I lean over him.

“Then you need to ride a cowboy.”

Heat blooms between my thighs and I quickly throw my leg over his waist so I can get the whole cowboy experience.

  Epilogue

  Three months later…

“What’s this?” I ask, walking into the living room to find Clay sitting on the huge sofa, candles flickering around him, drinks on the coffee table and the TV on.

  “We’re celebrating.”

  “Celebrating what?”

“It’s been three months since you arrived and turned my world upside down. Plus today should have been your last day.”

My time here has gone by even faster than I thought it would. Clay had the same feelings about it because after my second week here he basically told me I wasn’t leaving. My housekeeping job soon morphed into me being his sidekick. I took over the bookings and admin side of the business and he stuck to what he was more comfortable with.

When his aunt was released from the hospital, she was adamant that the ranch was going to be too much for her to navigate after her accident, so she set Frank and Clay to work. In no time at all, they’d switched houses. No sooner had Clay unpacked, he turned up at mine and Austin’s cabin to ask me to move in with him. I thought it was crazy. I still had every intention of leaving once my time was up, although if I was being honest with myself, it was the last thing I wanted. But looking up into his eyes when he asked, I could suddenly see my entire future in them, and I knew then and there that this place was where I was meant to be. This ranch and Clay were my future.

  “Where did that time go?”

“I think we spent most of it in bed,” he says with a cheeky wink and my cheeks heat.

“So what are we watching?” My distraction tactic works before he sits back and turns to the TV.

  “Guess.”

“Happy Potter?” I ask, thinking back to him admitting his own little secret fantasy a few weeks ago. I should have known he was hiding something because he never once laughed at mine.

“Close.” Hitting play on the DVD player, a very familiar tune starts playing. I can’t help but laugh. “I thought we could have a Toy Story marathon seeing as the new one’s out.”

Reaching out, I place my palm to his cheek, making him look at me.

  “I love you, cowboy.”

  “To infinity and beyond, baby.”

  Acknowledgments

So, I guess I need to thank my two-year-old daughter for her obsession with all things Toy Story for this one. The second a cowboy series was discussed, I knew exactly what my characters we’re going to be called, I just couldn't help myself.

I had such a blast writing this and I really didn't want it to end. I just love Clay with his inability to use a computer! I really hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I did creating it.

Thank you once again to the other Flirt Club authors, none of this would have been possible without you all. I’ve created characters and stories that I never would have on my own and this one is no exception.

As always, a huge thank you to my alpha Michelle for giving me her sometimes brutal feedback as I bring these characters to life. My betas, Deanna, Lindsay, and Tracy, for dropping everything and reading the moment this hit your Kindles, thank you so much for your honest feedback.

Huge thank you to Ellie at My Brother’s Editor for whipping this baby into shape.

I also thank my daughter not only for her love of Toy Story but for her and her dad for allowing me time whilst we were on holiday to write this. I couldn't do any of this without your support, so thank you.

  Until next time,

  Tracy xo
