LOVE IS A COWBOY
Daniel McGreggor: At twenty-seven, Daniel has been running his ranch after the unexpected death of his father and raising his fourteen years old sister, MaryJane, on his own. He has continued to do business with Stanley Rockwell, just as his father did for many years since he could remember, but Daniel McGreggor is about to meet the unmoving will of who truly is Stanley Rockwell.
Johanna Rockwell: Raised by a powerful father, a loving mother and three strong brothers. Johanna has a wonderful, happy life. But an unexpected announcement by her father and a request from his heart sends Johanna up north miles away from home. She’s not sure she can fulfill her father’s wishes, but as a Rockwell, Johanna was taught to never give up.
PATIENCE IS A COWBOY
Aaron Rockwell: As the youngest son, Aaron has had to learn to do everything his older brothers did, but better. When his father informs him, he has already offered his service to his baby sister’s future husband, Aaron jumps at the chance of following his sister up north to Montana. His reason for following Johanna up north changes the minute he lays eyes on the woman he knows will be his wife, and no one, not even her older brother will stand in his way.
MaryJane McGreggor: MJ as she is called, was raised by her stern father, who knew not how to love, and by her much older brother, Daniel. Refusing to go to school as a child, she has grown wild and spoiled at times, and all she wants to do is live her life as a free spirit. But when her older brother decides to marry, she believes her carefree life is over. When MJ learns her new sister-in-law’s older brother is coming to the McGreggor Ranch, she starts wishing she was a woman. The question is; is she ready to be a woman? After all, she’s only fourteen.
STRENGTH IS A COWBOY
Jaime Rockwell: Taking over the Rockwell Cattle Ranch wasn’t something Jaime ever expected. Horses are his passion and with his Pa’s blessing he turns their cattle ranch into a stud ranch. He’s successful at it and there’s no one that dare disobey him. He’s a stern, no second chances type of boss who demands obedience. You don’t disobey him, you don’t say no to him. His demanding and stern countenance is an inherit ability from his sire though, because when Pa says jump; you jump. And when Pa says marry; well, you marry.
Lucinda Smith: When her husband gets murdered, Lucinda finds herself running for her life and that of her young son’s. Her mother’s suggestion of marriage to a Rockwell sounds like the perfect solution. Her only apprehension? She’s an independent, strong and willful woman, one who swore to never take orders from a man. According to Stanley Rockwell’s letter, Jaime Rockwell; her future husband, not only likes to give orders but he demands obedience. She can be a wife, she can give him children, but obedience? Well, she’ll just have to get him used to the word, no, should be easy, right?
HOPE IS A COWBOY
Matthew Rockwell knows what a broken heart is, having experience it firsthand at seventeen. That was five years ago and at twenty-three he has become tired of saloon women and lonely nights. The woman he’s been exchanging letters with via a respectable mail-order-bride agency sounds as lonely as he is.
When he offers for her, she confesses her hard history. His heart thunders at the injustice of this world, making him realized that maybe, just maybe his heart wasn’t broken. Maybe it was just bruised, and bruises heal in the hands of angels, don’t they?

About the Author
I have been successfully writing romance books for almost a year now and it has become one of my favorite things to do. I love alpha males and hero type men who are loved by women and respected by men. But most importantly, my heroines are bad-ass women who know their worth and will not take disrespect from anyone, not even from the man they love. I believe a strong male deserves a strong mate, as do my female characters.
Jaycee Avalon is an acronym for my real name. I live in Sunny California with my gorgeous and over the top sweet husband (not kidding, though he has his sour moments). We have successfully raised two boys who are pursuing their goals with success. I was born in Latin America and my grandfather never failed to remind us of our Mayan heritage, which I am proud of.
