Never Ever (Never His Duet Book 2)

He held onto my hips, burying his face into my folds. My breathing quickened as his tongue slid across my wetness. I reached out and placed my hand against the wall to support myself as his tongue danced around my clit and pressed gently on it.
When he slipped a finger inside me, and then another, I whimpered, the delicious pressure inside me building and building. My breath came out in little gasps as he increased the speed, his tongue flicking over my swollen flesh, his fingers pumping in and out.
My release hit me like a wave, and I let out a groan. When I looked down at Aiden, his eyes were filled with satisfaction, and he smiled at me as he licked his lips.
“Your bath’s ready now,” he said as he got to his feet, offering me his hand.
I took it and he helped me step inside. The tepid water was like heaven, and I sighed in contentment.
“Hurry,” I said, waving him over.
He yanked his shirt over his head, and then almost tripped as he tried to get out of his pants and underwear as quickly as possible.
I let out a laugh, scooting over so he could get in too.
“I love big bathtubs,” I said as he pulled me on top of him, his arms wrapping around me, his hard cock pressing against my ass and waking another wave of desire inside me.
“Me too.” His hands roamed up and down my body, caressing gently as I leaned into him.
I rubbed myself against him, making him hiss, and then I stopped moving as he uttered a curse under his breath.
“I love torturing you even more.” I shifted again. “Do you like this?”
“No. Yes.”
I chuckled. “Good.” It turned me on even more as his muscles strained under me while he tried to stay in place and keep his arms around me.
When I couldn’t take the fire surging through my veins anymore, I pushed myself up.
I wanted to take him inside me.
I wanted us to become one again.
“Come on. I don’t want my skin to get all wrinkly.” I got out of the tub, offering him a nice view of my ass.
He followed me, and I didn’t even feel like grabbing a towel to dry myself off. I just wanted him, and he wanted me too, because he pulled me into his arms, pressing himself close to me, his lips meeting mine.
The bed seemed so far away, and when we broke apart, I leaned on the counter, giving him a look over my shoulder. “I want you inside me. Now.”
I didn’t have to tell him twice. His hands rested on my hips as his cock brushed my entrance, and I wiggled my ass toward him.
Once he slipped inside me, we both groaned.
His thrusts quickened, and every inch of my body tingled with pleasure as he pounded into me. A grunt escaped his throat as he held me tighter, shoving his thick length deeper and deeper inside me.
I took him all in, feeling him stretching me.
Our gazes locked in the mirror, and I bit down on my lip.
“Don’t come until I tell you to,” I said.
His eyes widened just a little, but he didn’t slow down, and I didn’t want him to.
He and I were one. I kept my eyes on his in the mirror, and once I felt my orgasm getting closer and closer, I clenched around him. He let out a low growl, and I knew he was trying hard to obey me, and I loved him more for it.
“Come for me, Aiden,” I said.
He slammed himself inside me, and then I felt him throb and pulsate. Our cries of release mixed together, and my body sang with the joy of it, every part of me more alive than ever.
“Veronica, I love you,” he gasped out.
I was glad for the counter under me because there was no way my legs would be able to support me. “I love you too.”
He was mine.
Only mine.
And he was going to be mine forever because there was no way in hell I was ever letting him go.
Chapter 37
“I NEVER THOUGHT I’D be so happy,” I said, leaning into Aiden, whose arms were around me as we gazed down at people from a small platform.
My club was thriving again, and it was the best feeling in the world. Since I’d kind of hired Aiden’s men to watch over it, it was safer than ever, and no one even thought about stirring up trouble.
“You deserve it,” he whispered into my ear.
“I hope things will always stay this peaceful.” I turned around to face to him, placing my arms around his neck.
It wasn’t just my club that was doing well. Aiden hadn’t had to fight anyone for months. I supposed his enemies were too terrified to try, and he kept expanding his territory since a lot of people were interested in joining him and striking up deals with him.
Very lucrative deals, at that.
“I’ll do my best to keep it that way,” he said, his eyes boring into mine. “With your help, I’m sure it won’t be too hard.”
“Oh come on, now you’re exaggerating.”
“Am I?” He raised an eyebrow at me. “I believe it was you who figured out the perfect way to get that latest peace treaty signed.”
“Well, the guy was being unreasonable, especially for someone who’s so careless as to be seen with his mistress in public.” I might have suggested to Aiden that he should blackmail one of his wannabe enemies into signing a deal rather than getting into a war that would’ve brought huge losses to both sides.
And I’d been the one who’d been able to get close enough to snap incriminating photos of the guy and then chat up his mistress at the hairdresser’s while slipping a bug into her purse.
Oh, the material we’d gotten on the guy because of it... It was awesome, and I loved the excitement.
Besides, I hadn’t been in any real danger. Aiden’s men would’ve been too obvious, and Jo had taken some personal time off, which was good, because she’d been working way too much.
“I can’t believe I actually did all that,” I said.
Hell, I didn’t even know when and how I’d started to consider Aiden’s business as something completely normal. Sure, the stuff he did wasn’t exactly legal, but he wasn’t really hurting anyone who didn’t deserve it.
And yeah, maybe I was fishing for excuses, but I preferred to have him—and me—watching over the city than some heartless asshole who wouldn’t care who he hurt or killed. Someone like Carter.
Human trafficking rings were banned from the city, and Aiden was ruthless with anyone who thought they could get away with it right under his nose.
“There’s something I wanted to tell you,” he said. “I had my men check on Nina and the other women.”
“And?” I couldn’t keep the curiosity out of my voice.
“They’re all doing fine. Nina got a job at a grocery store.”
“That’s great news!” I pressed my lips against his. “Thank you.” My favorite song came on at that moment, and a wide smile spread across my face. “Dance with me!”
Aiden spun me around, and I yelped, and then we started moving in rhythm with the music.
“I have a surprise for you,” he said.
“Oh?” I tilted my head. “What kind of a surprise?”
“It wouldn’t be a surprise if I told you.”
I scowled. “Well, you kind of just did, so spill it out or I won’t be able to wait.”
“I was thinking we could get out of the city for a while and go on a trip.”
I almost jumped up in excitement. “Hell yeah. Where and when are we going? Can I go pack my bags now?”
He let out a laugh. “You’ll have plenty of time for that.”
“So you won’t tell me where we’re going.” I narrowed my eyes at him.
“I want it to be a surprise.”
“Is there going to be a nice long sandy beach?” I asked hopefully.
“Maybe.”
“A small mysterious town that we can explore?”
He shrugged. “Sure, why not?”
“Perfect!” I was so looking forward to it, because I hadn’t really been anywhere fun, and I didn’t think Aiden ha
d either. “I need to go tell Sophia to take care of the club for me while I’m gone.”
“One more dance first.”
A slower song started to play, and I pressed myself close him, resting my head on his shoulder.
He was everything that I could’ve ever hoped for, and I knew that we were going to be very happy. We’d been through a lot, but we were stronger for it, and I was sure that we could go through any hardship together.
I tipped my lips toward his, and the kiss we shared sent a wave of warmth through me. When our eyes met, all I could feel was his love for me, and it gave me strength.
Together, we were unstoppable.
