She Got It Bad for a Heartless Gangsta 4 Page 8

by Shvonne Latrice

Since my babies were being so calm, and Lily was coming over tonight for the weekend, I decided to take this opportunity to stop by the grocery store. When I entered, I had Clay with me, but some girls approached, wanting to take pictures with me. I found it funny that two of them wanted a picture because they knew me as Ricky AK’s girl, and the other two because they knew me from being a brow artist.

“I ain’t gon’ be all up on you,” Clay said, and I laughed.

  “Thank you.”

I made my way down the snack aisle to get stuff for Lily and Ricky, and just as I reached for some Oreos, I saw Tabitha walk onto the aisle. She paused when she saw me, and then rolled her eyes as if I didn’t just beat her ass at the jailhouse. She slipped past me, and I just ignored her as I scanned for more snacks.

“You really pulled it off,” I heard her say out of nowhere.

“What?” I looked her way, and I saw her eyes were on my babies before darting to my ring finger.

“I used to always tell Ricky’s little side hoes not to hold their breath because he would never change, and if he did eventually change, it would be for me.”

“Well, looks like you should have been telling yourself what you were telling them.”

I felt her eyes burning through me as I reached for another package of cookies. Nothing else was said, so I looked her way to see she was tearing up.

This bitch had to be joking.

“Usually, I would slap a bitch for crying over my nigga, but you’re so pathetic that I don’t even wanna waste my time, or my fresh manicure. There are plenty of niggas in the world; please go find one.”

“I know,” she sniffled. “And one day, I’m gonna find someone that’s—”

“No, this is not some heart to heart. Good day.” I pushed my stroller off the aisle, not even wanting to be near to her anymore.

  Qamar

  Just two days later… Around 10 a.m.…

I frowned with my eyes still closed because my throat felt dry as hell. This shit always happened when a nigga drank too damn much. I’d gotten so fucking twisted that I didn’t even remember what happened last night. All I knew was that I went to the club, chilled with some hoes, one being my favorite stripper, German, and drank whatever came my damn way. I was low-key scared to open my eyes in fear of where I was. Shit, I could have been in a damn alley for all I knew.

I slowly lifted my lids and recognized the ceiling above me. I was in the hotel that I usually always stayed in when I didn’t sleep at my house. I let out a sigh of relief, but immediately winced in pain at the damn headache that shot through my damn head. My phone ringing next to me only made it worse. Searching for it blindly on the nightstand, I found it, then hit the green button when I saw it was my lawyer.

“Sup,” I answered, closing my eyes back.

“Good morning, Mr. Hampton. I just wanted to update you on the Lacie Johnson murder investigation. I’ve been notified that you’ve been scratched off as a suspect.”

  “Thank God.” I exhaled.

“I know.” Theo laughed. “Well, enjoy the rest of your day, Mr. Hampton.”

“Yeah, you too.” I hung up and put my phone back on the nightstand, before massaging the bridge of my nose to ease the pain in my head.

“About time you wake up,” a female voice sounded off, prompting me to shoot up to the sitting position. She was brushing her teeth, standing at the foot of the bed butt ass naked.

It was German, this stripper that I’d been on for months because she was the finest one at AOD. I’d been planning to take her home one of these nights, and looks like last night was the night. Her body was thicker than oatmeal, and her skin was light, with big ass tattoos in certain areas. She was fine as hell, but the part that I’d always hated was her pink ass hair. And it wasn’t the dark pink, it was that light shit.

“What’s yo’ real damn name again?” I hissed.

“Genesis; you forgot already?” She frowned and switched off back to the bathroom.

I sat there for a minute, trying to remember if she’d told me her real name before, but I couldn’t recall. I pulled the covers off me to look down at my dick, and when I didn’t see a condom, I wanted to slit my fucking throat. This the shit that got my ass caught up the last fucking time with that STD. I liked to fuck raw, but not usually for one-night stands.

I heard the shower come on, just as my phone rang. I saw MG’s name pop up, so I didn’t bother answering. I knew the only reason he or Ricky was calling me lately was because of my damn mama, and I didn’t wanna hear the shit. I was a grown ass man, and didn’t need two other niggas in my age group trying to tell me what the fuck to do. Shit, if my mama couldn’t do it, what made them niggas think they could? Fuck out of here.

I wanted to snort a line in order to calm my damn nerves, but I was gon’ refrain. I was done with that shit, and my damn nose wasn’t having it anyway. But the fact that I’d fucked this girl without a condom had me on one.

Granted, I’d done dumb shit like this before, but after getting burned, I swore I never would. Not to mention, I didn’t want any more damn kids. Excuse me, I didn’t want any kids; the one that was supposedly mine right now, I wasn’t claiming, and I didn’t give a fuck who had a problem with it. And shit, now I had that bitch Angelique in my DM’s on Instagram saying she was pregnant by me, but I wasn’t paying that shit no mind whether it was mine or not.

“I love the shower here.” Genesis walked out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel.

I licked my lips at the sight, as I picked my iPhone back up. I went right onto Instagram and onto Bia’s profile. She blocked my ass, so I was using my other account to check up on her when I felt like it.

“Ooh, she’s pretty; who is that?”

“Damn, you all in my business,” I snapped.

  BOOM! BOOM!

I grabbed my boxers from the floor, slipped them on, and then darted to the hotel room door to see who the fuck it was. Looking out the peephole, I saw stupid ass MG and Ricky. MG was closer to the door, and Ricky was leaning on the wall across from my room with his arms folded.

  “Yeah?” I cracked the door.

“Damn, we can’t come in?” MG inquired.

“Nah, not right now, I’m busy. Fuck y’all want?”

“Okay.” MG squinted his eyes. “Look, man, you need to help ya mama out. She’s taking care of your son—”

  “That ain’t my son.”

“Qamar, we all fucking know that’s ya kid, man. How many damn DNA tests does yo’ ass need?” MG furrowed his brows.

“Any baby that comes from a woman other than the one I want, ain’t mine. Simple as that.”

“Grow up, muthafucka. The bitch you fucked is dead, so you ain’t gotta worry about being with her ass. Quit acting like a little bitch and take care of ya damn kid,” Ricky hissed, leaning up off the wall.

“Fuck you, nigga! I do what the fuck I want!” I hollered loudly.

“Who the fuck you hollering at, nigga?” Ricky tried to push up on me, but MG stepped in between us. “Brush yo’ damn teeth before you get to yelling at muthafuckas, with that funky ass breath, bitch!”

“You a damn lie! My shit ain’t ever funky, nigga!”

“Fuck outta here! I ain’t know if you was yelling from ya mouth or ya ass!” Ricky barked, prompting me to try to get around MG to fight, but MG blocked me. “Don’t let whatever busted open ass bitch you got in that room see you get ya ass whooped again.”

“Come on y’all, damn!” MG shouted. “Ricky, that ain’t what we came for, bruh, relax!”

“He started the shit! Yelling at me like I won’t crack his shit, and with that stank ass mouth!”

Exhaling out of frustration, MG reached into his pocket and handed me a stick of gum, which pissed me off.

“Y’all need to bounce!” I slammed the door in their faces and stormed back to the bed to plop down on the edge.

“This girl is dating Kito?” Genesis asked, reminding me that she was even h
ere.

“Give me my damn phone. And how you know him?”

“I don’t know him per se, but I’ve heard of him. He and his friend Brayden used to sell drugs together. I only know of them because my brother used to work the block for them before he got killed. They were like big time with it, but after a while, Kito went legit, I guess, because he disappeared. He is so fine.”

Turning my lip up in disgust, I said, “How the fuck you gon’ be lusting over another nigga while in my bed? Why don’t you go fuck that nigga then?”

“I didn’t mean it like that. He’s just handsome, sorry. But so are you.”

“Stupid ass,” I mumbled before dialing Bia’s number.

Before I could even put the phone to my ear, her voicemail was on. I hung up, and tried again, but it only rang once before I got the voicemail. I stood up before trying a few more times, and the whole time, Genesis was lying across the bed on her stomach, watching me with her pretty nosy ass.

“I think you’re blocked.” She chuckled when I clutched my phone tightly in my hand.

“I ain’t blocked. You know who the fuck I am? I’m Qamar. Bitches don’t block me, I block them.”

  “Fine.”

Genesis’s comment pissed me off, so I dialed Bia again only for the same thing to happen. When Genesis and I made eye contact, I turned my volume down and tried Bia again. Of course I got the voicemail, but I wasn’t gon’ give Genesis’s ass the satisfaction of knowing that. Also, I was still in disbelief that Bia had actually blocked my ass. This whole time I thought the multiple calls would make her answer once she got tired of me, but clearly, a nigga was wrong as fuck.

“Yeah… where the fuck you at?… Oh, aight… You answer the damn phone whenever I fucking call you… Don’t do that shit again… Yeah, I love you too.” I hung up the fake conversation then turned to Genesis. “See, ain’t nobody blocked. Mind ya damn business. And be gone when I get out the shower.”

  “Okay, okay.”

I brushed my teeth with the extra guest toothbrush while in the shower, and then washed my body off with that weak ass hotel soap since I’d run out of my preferred shit yesterday morning. I wrapped my lower half in a towel, and stepped out of the bathroom, only to see Genesis still here.

“Aye, didn’t I tell yo’ ass to go?” I wanted to run by Bia’s job to try and catch her ass. I couldn’t wait to tell her that her so-called good nigga used to push weight. And as soon as she dropped his ass for that shit, I would slide my way back in. This time, I’d be sure to get her ass pregnant so she couldn’t go nowhere if I fucked up.

“Yeah, but I kind of don’t have anywhere to go. I usually sleep at a friend’s house or something and work my waitress job during the day, but today I’m off. And as you know, I only work one day a week at AOD.” She climbed off the bed and my eyes were glued to her sick ass body. I would definitely have to hit that shit again. “So can I just come with you?” She neared me, slipping her arms around my waist and smiling. She was just as pretty up close as she was in the club swinging around that pole.

“Aight, you can come with me, but don’t say shit the whole time. I don’t like hearing ya opinions,” I hissed, stepped back and dropped my towel.

I dug into my duffle bag that was here since I’d been staying here ever since I left my mom’s place, and put on some fresh boxers. I kept it simple today and just put on some blue Adidas sweats, a white t-shirt, and some all-white shell toe Adidas. Even though times were hard for a nigga, I still had a lot of my nice shit. And I’d sold my catalogue of music, which was worth way more than I thought, so a nigga was actually doing okay. Just as soon as I got this music back off the ground, I’d be back to being that nigga; back to being Qamar. I smirked as I looked in the mirror, and Genesis came up behind me with her sexy ass.

  “You look nice.” She smiled.

“Thanks. You need a Plan B pill or something, don’t you?”

  “No, I’m on birth control.”

“Oh, cool. Come on, let’s go. It’s almost 1 p.m.”

We left the hotel and went straight down to get my car from the lot. Even though my financial situation was improving, I still found valet here to be too damn expensive.

Once Genesis and I were in my whip, I sped off towards Bia’s job, hoping I would be able to catch her. Every time I dropped by her job, she was either off that day or on lunch already. And the few times I’d gone by her crib, no one answered the door. But I could tell no one was there and that I wasn’t just being ignored.

“Where are we?” Genesis stared up at the glass building that Bia worked in, as I pulled into the parking lot.

“My girl’s… job.” My sentence trailed off when I saw that bitch ass nigga Kito getting out of his car, holding some kind of drink in a clear plastic cup.

“Oh my gosh, there’s that dude Kito!” Genesis shouted as if she were the only person with eyes.

“Shut up and stay right here, aight?” I demanded through gritted teeth, and she nodded somberly. I ain’t gay, but that nigga wasn’t even that cute. I was the cute one! “Aye!” I barked loudly, wanting to get his attention before he went into the building.

He glanced my way, squinting because of the sun, and when he realized who I was, he snickered almost before completely turning to face me.

“Can I help you, young man?” he quizzed as if we weren’t what for what in age.

Moving his way, adjusting my shades since L.A. wanted to be extra fucking sunny, I said, “Yeah, you can help me by leaving my girl alone.”

Kito chuckled and set his drink down on the metal box near us.

  “Run that by me again?”

“I know who you used to be, nigga, and I’m gon’ tell her that. Once Bia finds out you used to be some big street thug, she ain’t gon’ fuck with you.”

  “And why not?”

His demeanor remained calm, but I figured he was burning up inside and just keeping it on the low so it wouldn’t satisfy me.

“Because she wants a certain type of man to treat her well, and you ain’t that. All this shit you doing is fake, muthafucka!”

“Mmm, okay.” He nodded, stroking his chin hairs. “So let me guess, you can be the man she wants?” He pointed to me.

  “You damn right.”

I was confident as fuck. All I needed was for this nigga to look bad, and then Bia would come running back to me. And once I shot my seeds off in her, I’d be set.

  “Wow.”

“Yeah, but I’m giving you the heads up in case you just wanna save face and break up with her on yo’ own.”

“How the fuck you gon’ be a man for Bia when you got kids out here you don’t fuck with?”

“Nigga, you don’t know what the fuck you talking about! I ain’t got no damn kids, aight!”

“Guess I heard wrong.” He sipped his drink before placing it back down. “So you trying to square up or what? My lunch is almost over and I ain’t got time to be out here bickering with yo’ ass. Now we can either throw down or let this shit ride.”

“Fuck you,” I hissed before turning around and darting off. I looked over my shoulder for a brief moment to see him calmly walking back into the building. “Bitch!” I shouted as I slammed my car door once inside.

“What happened? It didn’t even look that ba—”

“How the fuck he know about more than one kid?” I glared at Genesis as if she were the one who told.

“Oh, so it is true? Some girl is on Instagram claiming you’re her child’s father. It’s been on the blogs all week.”

  “Show me!”

Genesis pulled her iPhone out and went right to Instagram. She maneuvered through the app a little bit and showed me the article on the gossip blog. Sure enough, that bitch Angelique, who had been bothering me for a little minute now, was stirring shit up.

I gave Genesis back her phone and took a couple deep breaths to calm down. I then drove to meet up with Johnny, my producer, because I wanted to hear some tracks. And since Genesis a
in’t have nowhere to be, I brought her ass along. Plus, I wanted to hit later, so no need for us to split.

I entered the studio with her trailing me, and met up with Johnny in the room we always used.

“Aye, Q, the song we posted for free is doing numbers right now. I mean, not as much as the old you would have garnered, but damn sure more than usual.”

“Fuck, let me see.” I snatched his laptop to look at the screen and grinned. “I guess talent beats morals around here, huh?”

  “I guess so.” Johnny shrugged.

Shit was definitely looking up for a nigga. Now, all I needed was Bia.

  Kattlyn

“Baby,” MG whispered as he kissed on my neck.

I’d convinced him to give me a full body massage, and now I was playing sleep. I knew he thought he’d be getting some pussy afterwards, but I still wasn’t ready. However, my body was in pain, and I needed a rub down from those strong hands. They did the trick too because I was almost asleep.

“No, I’m tired,” I whined, nudging him a little bit. I tried to sound as wore down as possible.

“Katt, baby, my dick is hard as a brick right now. Come on,” he begged. I smiled into my pillow because I wanted to laugh. “Please, I love you.”

This fool was saying anything to get some pussy at this point. I wasn’t feeling it though, so I knew I’d have to start an argument to get him away from me.

And it wasn’t that I didn’t like sex with MG because I definitely did. Sex with him was different because I guess he was the first man I’d ever slept with that cared about me. You could feel when a nigga gave a fuck by the way he touched you and made love to you. It was just after the miscarriage, I was afraid of becoming pregnant again, only to miscarry. And yeah, we could use a condom, but what if it broke? I was just too paranoid right now.

  “Kattlyn—”

“Why don’t you go fuck one of those bitches you sexed in San Diego?” I spat, picking my head up to frown at him as hard as I could.
