She felt a sharp tug on her hair. "Fuck, Angel, your mouth is like heaven. I'm gonna come. Let go if you don't want me coming in your mouth."
In answer, she gripped his ass tighter, pulling him closer, right before she heard a shouted, fuck as cum shot into her mouth. She swallowed it down while he slowly glided in and out. She licked around his crown, sucking on the tip, unable to get enough as his ass muscles flexed beneath her fingers.
The hand in her hair turned into a caress as his fingers massaged her scalp. He pulled himself from her mouth, and she looked up as he looked down, a tender expression on his face. "Great head, Angel."
"Yeah?" A relieved giggle escaped her lips.
"Fuck, yeah."
Chapter Nineteen
"Babe, you almost ready?" Jo heard Mase call from downstairs.
"Yeah, I'll be down in a minute," Jo yelled back while gathering her hair into a high ponytail and securing it with a scrunchie.
She was still on a high from last night. Everything about Mase was great, but sex with Mase was amazing. He never belittled her achievements or lack thereof, and he made her feel comfortable in everything they did. Hell, he even made her feel proud of her first successful blowjob, which gave her the confidence to try again, soon, only next time she'd be more a participant.
Done with her hair, she clicked off the bathroom light then went on a hunt for her flip-flops. She had no idea where they were going, Mase said it was a surprise. When she told him she needed to know, so she would know how to dress, he leaned in, gave her a kiss, told her nice try, but he wasn't falling for that trick then told her to dress cool and casual.
Bummer, he was too smart for her own good. Thankfully, she had cool and casual clothes at Mase's house. In fact, cool and casual were the only clothes she did have there. Knowing she would be spending as much time at Mase's house as she did her own, she figured she'd better rectify that situation soon. She would need handy access to clothes for all occasions.
"Babe, we've gotta go." Yelled from downstairs.
"Hold your horses, Ace. I can't find my flip-flops." Yelled from upstairs.
Thirty seconds of silence. "Are they black with silver sparkles?" Yelled from downstairs.
Jo popped her head out from under the bed. Not the ones she had in mind, but they would do. "It's called glitter," she said, descending the stairs.
He handed her the shoes as she reached the bottom. "You may want to grab a sweater or something," he said, with a sweep of his eyes over her outfit.
"I don't have one here."
"I'll go get you one of my sweatshirts. Where we're going, it can get chilly at night."
"Where are we going?" Jo asked his retreating back.
He stopped halfway up the stairs, turned to look back at her, and gave her a wink. What he didn't do was tell her where they were going.
Jo was curious during their long drive but refrained from asking Mase, yet again, their destination. Although, she was dying to know. She kept careful watch of the road signs for some kind of clue until she saw one that was familiar. Lake Mead.
Jo had been to Lake Mead many times growing up and knew there were many water-sport activities there. Her imagination started to run wild, thinking what Mase could have planned. He got off at the next exit, then coasted down a long road until the lake came into view. It was truly a spectacular day. The weather was beautiful and Jo couldn't wait to get out in the sun and fresh air.
They bypassed the regular visitors parking area to a private lot that Mase swiped a card to get into. Questions wanted to tumble from her lips, but she knew he wouldn't answer any of them, so didn't bother asking. Let him be Mr. Secretive. She'd find out soon enough.
Once out of the car, he took her hand and led her down a pier. Boats of many shapes and sizes ran along its length, but they didn't stop until they reached the end where the largest boat was docked.
Jo couldn't hold her tongue. "Are we going out on that?" It was honestly the biggest boat Jo had ever seen in real life. Was it even a boat? Maybe it was a yacht.
Mase looked down at her and smiled. "We are."
While Mase helped her aboard, Jo asked, "Whose boat is this?"
Mase looked startled a moment before chuckling, "It's mine."
Jo did a full turn taking in the lower deck. Wow.
"Come on, I'll give you a tour."
She followed Mase through a door that took them inside the lower level. Jo scanned the room, awed. A living room, of sorts, took up most the area, consisting of four large couches surrounding a coffee table in the middle of the room. A large flat screen TV and entertainment center occupied one corner.
"On the starboard we have two guest bedrooms and the guest bath," Mase said indicating to the three closed doors on the right. "And port are the master bed and bath." This was said with an arm wave to his left. "Through here," Mase said, indicating to an open doorway at the back of the room, "is the galley."
Jo peeked her head into all the rooms. The two guest rooms were small, with barely enough room to hold the queen-size bed, small dresser, and equally small entertainment center and still leave enough room to walk around. The master bedroom was twice the size, plenty spacious, and even had a connecting bath.
"Let me show you the top deck."
They made their way back out to the lower deck and climbed the stairs. This deck was all open. An eight person hot tub was at one end, what looked to be a dance floor at the other, and a covered bar area in the middle.
Mase pointed to a set of stairs that led to a smaller third level. "The captain's up there. Let me introduce you, and let him know we're ready to be on our way."
Jo leaned against the upper deck railing. The sun had set, and a light breeze blew across her face. She felt Mase's heat hit her back right before his arms wrapped around her.
"You warm enough?" He asked, burying his face in the side of her neck, giving it a kiss.
She tilted her head, leaning it against his shoulder. "Yeah." She stared up at the sky. The stars were out, shining brightly. You couldn't see them in the city. "The stars are beautiful, aren't they?"
"Mm-hmm," he said, into her neck.
Jo giggled and elbowed him in the stomach. "You didn't even look."
He picked his head up. "I did."
She craned her head to better see him. "I didn't see you look up."
"I saw them in your eyes. They're even more beautiful that way."
Oh... my.
He took her hand. "Come with me."
He took her to the other side of the deck and left her in the center of the dance area to go kneel before what looked to be a complicated sound system. After a few minutes of fiddling, she heard the first notes of "100 years" by Five For Fighting. Mase approached her and took her into his arms. He held her close and danced. Swaying, gliding, and turning to the music. It was beautiful.
No, it was magical.
The song ended and it got quiet. Mase stopped dancing and captured her face in his hands, tilting it, drawing his own face close. "I'm not wasting another of my precious hundred years without you by my side." He captured her lips and kissed her. It was a kiss she felt in her soul.
And it was magical, too.

Mase was aware of the moment Jo stepped onto the field. He always was. Walking beside her was a kid, taller than her by a good half-foot, making him only a few inches shorter than Mase, but that's where the similarities ended. This kid was thin, like he'd just had his growth spurt and hadn't had a chance to fill out yet. His dark-brown, shaggy hair fell messily into his eyes, and he walk with a swagger that clearly screamed he had attitude that needed adjusting. Jo had called in her favor, and that favor was now walking toward him.
Jo had filled him in on Chris's situation and her fear he was sinking in deep with one of the local gangs. She'd hoped, giving him another outlet would focus some of his restless energy and fill up some of his free time now that school was out for the summer. Mase had assured her, he would put
him to work.
Mase blew his whistle. "Take five, guys." He turned back to Jo and walked to them, cutting their remaining distance in half.
Her eyes sparkled up at him, and he had to curb the impulse to lean over and kiss her smiling lips. To distract himself, he turned his attention to Chris and held out his hand. "Hey, Chris, glad you could join us."
Chris took his hand and his eyes darted to Jo, probably wondering what had been said about him before replying, "Thanks... um... Mr. Connor."
"Call me Mase," Mase said, lightly pounding the kid on the shoulder. "You got any football experience?"
Chris's eyes quickly darted to Jo's, once more, before focusing back on Mase. "Uh, not really. Played a little in junior high, it was one of the sports we played in P.E., but we only learned the basics."
"Don't worry, kid, we'll get you squared away." He gave him another slap on the shoulder. "Let's go introduce you to the guys."
As he steered Chris to meet the other camp coaches, he couldn't help but glance over his shoulder to look at Jo. She had a smile on her face. He gave her a wink, hoping he was the one who put it there.
Mase watched Chris throw a perfect spiral to Tom. Camp was over for the day, Jo had headed back to the office, but Mase wanted to stick around and see what the kid could do. "You're a natural, kid. Ever think about signing up for high school ball?"
Chris turned to Mase. "Nah, man, I don't know about this shit."
"You work with me for the summer, I'll teach you this shit. Guarantee you make the team next year. Maybe get yourself a free ride to college."
That stopped Chris in his tracks. "Yeah?"
Mase gave him a smile. "Yeah, kid."

Jo reached across the center console and placed her hand on Mase's thigh. They were stopped at a red light, and his leg bobbed a mile a minute. He stilled his actions at her touch. "Would you relax."
He looked over at her with a tight smile. "I'm nervous. I've never met parents before."
"You have nothing to worry about. My parents will love you," she said, with a reassuring smile. She gave his thigh a squeeze as the light turned green. She leaned back in her seat and sighed when Mase's fingers started tapping on the steering wheel.
She found it amazing that a big, strong, confident man, a man that had shown no fear in telling her what he wanted from her, fully expecting to get it, a man on display in front of a crowd of thousands every week, feared meeting her parents.
"I don't understand how you could be so nervous at meeting two people when you're constantly in the limelight meeting tons of new people, sometimes all at one event."
He removed his restless fingers from the steering wheel and captured her hand. "Because the two people I'm meeting today are more important than all the others put together. It's important to me what these two people think of me, and I want them to like me because they love the woman I love, and the woman I love, loves them."
Jo wasn't sure what else to say to reassure Mase that his fears were for naught. When she'd talked to her mom the other day, her mom had told her how excited they were to finally meet Mase. That her dad had been walking around on cloud nine and bragging to all who would listen, that his daughter was dating a star quarterback. She'd said he even went as far as posting it on Facebook so all the out-of-town relatives would be sure to know. Jo chuckled to herself. She could just imagine the response that had gotten.
They pulled up in front of the two-story, stucco and brick, tan house that Jo had grown up in. She laughed as the front door flew open, knowing her mom must have been watching for them from the front window. Jo turned to Mase and quickly spoke before he opened his door. "My mom's a little..." she paused a moment to think of the right word, "... excitable. I've never brought a man home before. There's no telling what she'll do."
"That's not making me less nervous, Jo."
Jo laughed. "She won't do anything bad. She just might... I don't know, fawn all over you, but you should be used to that, right, Ace? Being a big-shot celebrity and all." She gave him a sassy smirk along with an exaggerated eyelash flutter.
"Keep it up. Just remember, you'll be alone with me tonight."
Jo laughed then looked out the car window. Her mom bounced on her toes by the front door. "We'd better go in before Mom has a fit."
Mase opened his door. "Stay put." He got out and walked around to her side, opening her door, and helping her out.
"Such a gentleman," they heard, shouted from the front door.
"Sometimes," Jo said, with a wink.
He lightly kissed her lips before whispering in her ear, "You'll pay for that tonight, too."
"For what?" She asked, in mock innocence.
"For reminding me of that night, how fucking hot it was, and leaving me with a hard-on before meeting your mom." He nuzzled her ear. "If we were alone, I'd take my thick, hard, throbbing cock, slide it into your hot, wet, tight pussy, and pound into you so hard, you'd scream my name until you were hoarse."
Jo's breath hitched, and he chuckled lightly in her ear before backing away. He knew exactly what he'd done to her, the bastard. Now they would both be turned on while greeting her mother. Great!

"Oh, my goodness gracious. It's so nice to finally meet you," Jo's mom said, engulfing Mase in a motherly hug.
She was a tiny, little thing and in no way looked old enough to be Jo's mother. Her hair was the same shade of brown as Jo's, but whereas Jo's was long and layered, her mom's was one length and short, curling under her chin. They also shared the same big, brown eyes, but that's where the similarities ended. The rest must have come from her dad.
Mase stooped to accommodate her five-foot reach, returning her hug. She stepped back hanging onto his biceps, grinning. "Jo has told me so much about you. And, of course, Stu, being a Pursuers fan, hasn't stopped talking about you since he found out you were coming."
"It's nice to meet you, too, Mrs. Welch. Jo's spoken highly of you and your husband both."
"Oh, pooh, none of that Mrs. Welch business. Call me Cathy." She took Mase by the arm and led him through the front door. "Now, I've got brunch all set up in the dining room, and Rich and Sue should be here any minute."
"Rich and Sue are coming?" Jo asked.
"Well, of course, they are."
Jo leaned around Cathy to explain, "Rich and Sue are Mom and Dad's closest friends."
Mase gave her a slight nod of understanding before flinching when Cathy shouted, "Stu, the kids are here."
Mase raised eyebrows at Jo, over the top of Cathy's head, fighting back his laughter but couldn't hold back his smile when Jo ducked her head and giggled.
Jo's mom released a loud, long sigh when she didn't get an answering response. "Let me go see if I can find him. Honestly, that man, all he talked about for two whole days was Mason this and Mason that and now he's MIA!"
Mase watched Cathy disappear down a hall before turning to Jo. He opened his mouth to speak but for the second time in his life, he found himself speechless. The Welch women just must have that effect on him.
Jo sauntered over to him, still giggling, and wrapped her arms around his waist. "And that, Mr. Connor, was my mother. May we all survive the day."
Mase, again, attempted to speak, but a booming voice beat him to it. "Mason, my boy, it's an honor to meet you, son."
Mase turned to see a tall, fit man, looking to be in his late forties or early fifties with a full head of light-brown hair, graying at the temples walk into the room with his hand outstretched.
Mase took a few steps forward, closing the distance. He took the older man's hand. "The honor's mine, Sir."
"Stu. Call me Stu," he said, clapping Mase on the shoulder.
"Happy Father's Day, Dad."
Stu turned a broad smile to Jo. "Hey, baby girl, come give your old man a hug."
Jo walked into her dad's arms, and he engulfed her in a bear hug. He pushed her back by the shoulders, giving her a once over. "You look good, baby girl,
this young man must be treating you right."
Jo looked over her shoulder and awarded Mase with a soft, dreamy smile and impassioned, sultry eyes. He felt gut-punched, and his heart squeezed. It was the exact look she'd give him right after he made her come. Knowing just the thought of him could produce that look on her face caused a warmth to flow through his body. He vowed to himself right then, he would keep her so fucking happy, she would always have that look on her face every time she thought of him.
A commotion at the front door had everyone's eyes turning. An older couple accompanied by a young woman walked through the door. Mase practically groaned when the young woman's eyes made contact with his, and she gave him a pleasantly surprised smile as if her day had just taken a turn for the better. She was overly made up, not a hair out of place, and way overdressed for a casual family function in a tight skirt, silk blouse, and kitten heels.
"Hi, all!" The older, slightly plump woman called out with a wave.
"Hey, Sue." He heard Jo say, from behind him. He turned and went to stand at her side.
Jo's mom came back into the room, full of hellos and cheek kisses. Introductions were made. Mase shook Rich's hand. He was a good-looking guy, but his muscle had turned to fat that even the loose fitting jogging suit he wore couldn't hide. His wife, Sue, gave Mase a polite nod and a shy smile, the total opposite of their daughter's calculating eyes and glittering smile.
The daughter walked up to him, hand outstretched, and politeness required him to take it. "What an unexpected surprise." She darted her eyes to Jo while stressing the word unexpected, making it clear she was surprised Jo would show up with someone like Mase. "I'm Elizabeth. It's very nice to meet you."
She caressed the inside of his wrist with her fingers and not caring to be polite anymore, he ripped his hand away. He also wasn't going to let her comment slide. Wrapping his arm around Jo's shoulders, he tucked her into his side and casually said, "Why would I be unexpected?"
His point-blank question seemed to throw her for a moment, but she recovered quickly and with a low chuckle and a flutter of her hand in Jo's direction, said, "Oh, I meant no offense, it's just our little Jo, here, hasn't dated in so long and to come home with someone like you..." She smiled coyly and fluttered her lashes but didn't look anywhere near as adorable as Jo when she did it. "...like I said, it was just unexpected."
