Of course he knew that he most certainly did walk in on something, especially when his father made a point of asking him over lunch, not to mention anything to his mother about the little office incident that he had walked into. Brian agreed, but only because he did not want to be the one to tell his mother this saddening news. Even though deep down inside, he knew his mother was well aware of what his father was up to, when it came to his extra-marital affairs. One thing he knew was his mother was an intelligent woman, but for some reason she turned a blind eye to his father's cheating behaviors. He figured even with this flaw of his father's his mother knew he was a good business partner and was willing to live with the fact that he was not a good husband. She tolerated this imperfection because he helped her make their company a great success. Having a male business partner had helped her gain some clout in the world of dealing with businessmen, especially those that were old school in their beliefs—which often included disliking dealing with a woman in business deals. So these clients were left for Joel to deal with, for the most part. Violet and Morgan discussed how little Kiley, and Ryan were doing, and how life in general was. She told Violet that she had just bought her daughter some new outfits for their upcoming trip to the Grand Canyon, which was in a week’s time. Morgan told her mom how excited her husband Ryan was when he came home yesterday after booking the motor-home for their trip.

Violet wanted to make up for all of the things that she missed out on when her children were growing up. She loved spending time with her two grandchildren, precious moments she missed out on with her own children. When she bought the new cars for her son and daughter, it helped her feel less guilty. But, she realizes that she cannot change the mistakes she has made in the past with her children, by buying them these things. Violet desperately wanted to show how sorry she really is for not being a better mother. Violet understands that she could not buy the love and respect of her children, but over time she hopes to earn them.

She also reconnected with herself, she did not want to be the all-businesswoman anymore. She wants to rediscover her needs as a woman, who wants passion and romance in her life. Violet wants to discover those desires that are found in the simple pleasures in life, such as enjoying making love, with a companion who will want to hold her and love her. But, for now it feels great just to be able to go out with another person and experience things in life that do not revolve around closing business deals. The front doorbell begins to ring, she quickly says her goodbyes to Morgan and rushes to answer the door.

Chapter 4. Love Comes Knocking On Violet's Door

She opens the door and there, standing before her, is a tall East Indian man, with black shimmering hair, and large dark eyes and full lips, with a lovely pearly white smile. “Mrs. Violet Fulton?” he says with a sensual voice. “Yes I am she, what can I do for you?” replies Violet, to the god of a man, standing before her. “My name is Anurag Topra from “Mindful Therapies.” We had an appointment for today to set up a weekly planner for some private sessions—I hope that I have not come at a bad time?” replied Anurag with a touch of concern in his tone. “No, No—not at all Anurag, I have been expecting you, please come in” smiled Violet as she opened the door to welcome Anurag Topra into her home. They sat down in the kitchen, on chairs at the big island in the kitchen, where Violet loved to sit. They drank some herbal tea, while working on a weekly planner for Violet to begin her training with Anurag. As they worked out a plan, Violet asked what Anurag's name meant. Which he replied that Anurag meant “love.” She could see that it was very fitting, as she sat and looked at this handsome man working on her planner, she thought he was indeed lovely to look at. They were going to start with three yoga and meditation sessions a week and go from there. They would meet here at Violet's on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 10am, starting the following week. After setting up Violet's planner Anurag got up and said his goodbyes, as he had a class to teach in half and hour, he headed back to his studio, leaving a pamphlet of all the services that the Mindful Therapies Centre offered.

After Anurag had left Violet went back and looked at the pamphlet he had left for her. What caught her eye was a class that was offered in couples counselling, it was an introduction class to Tantric sex. Violet began to imagine the handsome Anurag performing some private lessons with her on Tantric sex positions. She thought that was a course she wouldn't mind studying for, she imagined having some one-on-one lessons on Tantric sex with the handsome Anurag. It was certainly something for her to consider for the future. But for now she would just have to content herself with getting some yoga lessons from Anurag or also known as “Love.” Violet had a funny feeling that she was going to learn more from this man, whose name means love, than just yoga. She thought with a grin 'indeed love did come knocking on her door!'

She had been invited that evening for a barbecue that Anne McTavish was putting on. Anne had told Violet that Dan and his brother, who was visiting from Scotland would be joining them, who Anne pointed out as being an eligible bachelor that was immigrating here in two months time. He had come on this trip to purchase a home. Violet decided that she would go out and get some nice flowers for Anne, and a nice bottle of wine. She also decided to swing round to Sophia's boutique on Plum St., hoping that the lavender colored long peasant skirt was still there that she liked, and the nice light mint colored top that would go nicely with it. It was such a glorious day, her morning was spent enjoying the company of the handsome Anurag, and now she was looking forward to spending the evening in the company of some delightful Scottish people, one of which was apparently an eligible bachelor, according to Anne. Violet gathered her things and rushed out the door to do her shopping, with a feeling of light and positive energy. Violet jumped in her BMW, just then her cell phone started to ring. “Hello, Violet speaking.” It was Neil on the phone calling to confirm with Violet that they were still on for next Saturday. He told her he would email directions to her on how to get to where his boat was located. He was unable to pick her up himself because he was having some work done on his Lexus. It would be in the shop next week. They arranged to meet at Skate restaurant at 10am on the following Saturday.

Of course Violet had no problem driving herself, something she was more than used to doing. She told him that the directions where not necessary, she knew exactly where Neil's yacht was moored at Berkeley Marina. She and Joel had dined at the Skate restaurant there a few times over the years in the past. So Violet confirmed all the plans for the following Saturday with Neil. He asked what she had planned for this evening, which she told him she was going to her neighbours for a barbecue, nothing too exciting. But she mentioned that Anne and Dan were good company, both had a great sense of humor, one of those Scottish traits many adore about the Scots. Violet said her goodbyes to Neil and hung up her cell phone, putting her car into drive. Violet headed down the steep street of Birchcliffe Ave, wearing a grin on her face as she started off down the road on her little shopping spree!

Violet was sitting outside “Henry's Tea Shop” enjoying a tea biscuit and blueberry herbal tea, watching the people passing by. Suddenly from behind her she heard a familiar voice saying “so this is where you like to spend your time hanging out.” Violet looked up to find there standing on the sidewalk was Anurag. “Oh hello Anurag, fancy running into you?” “Yes, I think great minds think alike, I was just coming to have a quick bite and a tea, here at Henry's, I come here often” replied Anurag with a warm smile. “You are more than welcome to join me if you like” replied Violet with a smile at the handsome man. “Yes that sounds great, I will just pop into the shop and place my order” replied Anurag.

As they sat sipping their teas and enjoying a chat—all of a sudden Violet brought up the topic of the introduction course that he offered on Tantric sex. Anurag explained to Violet that it was part of couples counselling that they offered at the centre. It basically introduces different Tantric sexual positions that the couples could try to help improve their physical relationship
s. Violet smiled over with a mischievous, sexy grin, replying that she was disappointed to hear that it was only offered to couples. She suggests to Anurag that she would have been interested in adding that to her weekly private lessons. His deep dark eyes looked into hers and he quietly replied to her that he was sure they could work something out. He suggested that he could bring a book that shows various Tantric sexual positions when he comes on Monday for her yoga and meditation session, if she was agreeable to that. Violet smiled over at Anurag and said that she would be delighted to see just what Tantric sex was all about.

Through their lunch chat Violet discovered that Anurag was born in London, England, his parents had emigrated from New Delhi, India. She thought that would explain the wonderfully attractive British accent he had. He had immigrated to America five years ago. He was married with two young children. His family comes here often to visit, and he goes back to England as well to visit with friends and family, but he loves living here in San Francisco. He is 41 years old, handsome and married, it seems most of the good men are already taken. Violet found herself feeling so relaxed and comfortable talking to him, he had a way of making her feel at ease in his company. This was certainly a man that she was going to enjoy her time with, even though he was married. The crazy thing was she was thinking about this man in a sexual way, and he was over a decade younger than herself and married. She had never been with a younger man in her life! Her mind seemed to be racing all over the board with all kinds of thoughts and possibilities, regarding this dark-eyed man before her. Suddenly Anurag looked at his watch and he was up with on his feet. He said his goodbyes to Violet explaining that he had five minutes until his next class started, and off he ran. Shouting back to Violet that he looked forward to seeing her again on the following Monday.

Chapter 5. Enjoying the Charms of a Scotsman

Violet spun herself around in front of her full-length mirror, wearing her new lavender skirt, and blouse, and her Birkenstock sandals—that were so comfortable—she loved wearing them. Well she decided everything looked in place, she had the wine, and the flowers, which were a lovely assortment of summer flowers. She glanced at the pamphlet that Anurag had left for her, she began to have thoughts of him naked, standing before her, massaging her body with those lovely hands of his, making her feel that her skin was coming alive from his gentle touch upon it. She had to give her head a shake and get focused back to heading over to Anne's for the barbecue. She was certainly looking forward to her first session on Monday with Anurag.

Violet picked up the flowers and bottle of wine and made her way out the door over next door to Anne's front door and rang the doorbell. The door swung open and there was Anne with a big welcoming grin. Violet handed her the flowers and bottle of wine, as she entered Anne's house. Anne told her that the men were out sitting on the back deck. Anne was thanking Violet for the lovely flowers as she rushed to get a vase out to hold them in, while offering Violet a drink. “Would you like a gin and tonic and lime Violet or something else?” asked Anne with a grin as she was preparing the vase for the flowers. “Yes, that sounds lovely Anne, can I help you with anything?”asked Violet. No, no dear, I will just put these lovely flowers in the vase and pour your drink. After Anne got things done, she handed Violet her gin and tonic and lime, and they headed out to the deck where the men awaited them. She then introduced Violet to Dan's brother, Gavin. Gavin had recently retired as a country vet in the highlands of north Scotland. He was sixty years old, had amazing sky blue piercing eyes, a lovely head of wavy brown, peppered grey hair, with a charming smile that Violet found very appealing. He too was a widower, his wife had passed away five years ago from ovarian cancer. They never had children, but had run the veterinarian practice together, both had been vets. So, they too had been good business partners as Violet and Joel had been. Gavin was now at a point in his life that he was immigrating to San Francisco.

Dan and Anne attended to the food for the barbecue, while Violet and Gavin talked with each other and got to know each other a bit better. They both had the same realization that life was too short and that we should make the best of the time that we have here while we still can. After dinner at Anne's, Gavin was taking Pip up to the park and asked Violet if she cared to join him. Violet readily agreed and thought that it was such a lovely evening to go for a stroll. Pip was at the door with his tail wagging as soon as Dan asked him if he wanted to go for a walk. Pip was jumping up and down like he had springs in the bottom of his paws. She was almost as excited as Pip was to be going for a walk with this handsome Scottish bachelor. Violet thought if she had a tail it would certainly be wagging right now!

Gavin had such a great sense of humor he had Violet laughing in a way that she had not laughed in a very long time. It felt so good to her to laugh and really let loose. Gavin was going to be immigrating in the next few months. He was looking at a couple of house boats that were for sale in Sausalito in Marin County, a sleepy little waterfront town, it is only a ten-minute drive from downtown San Francisco. Violet thought that would certainly be an interesting place to live—in a house boat. Gavin had mentioned that he was going to have a look at the houseboats the next day, he invited Violet to come along with him to check them out. Violet was well aware of the town of Sausalito and knew the general area of where the houseboats would be located. It sounded like a nice way to spend her Sunday afternoon, exploring houseboats with a handsome Scotsman. Violet agreed to join Gavin in his boathouse tour. Violet offered to pick up Gavin, as she knew the area they were going to be heading to.

Gavin readily agreed with her kind offer, stating that he was sure his brother would be happy that he wouldn't have to borrow his car. Violet explained it would be easier all round since she already knows the area. So, they made arrangements for Violet to pick up Gavin at twelve-thirty the next day. They made their way back to Anne's where Violet stayed for a few more drinks before heading off next door to get herself sorted and ready for her houseboat adventure the next day with the charming Gavin. Violet adored Gavin's Scottish accent, and how he was able to make her laugh so easily. She thought she could see herself really getting to enjoy spending quality time with this retired Scottish vet from the highlands of Scotland. As she readied herself for bed, she thought of the different men she had met recently, thinking of the different qualities of each man. She certainly believed that variety was the spice of life and when it came to her taste in men this also applied in that area. She had always had a certain warm attraction for men with appealing accents. Violet was also an eye person, one of the first things that would draw her to a man would be his eyes. These after all are known to be the windows to the soul. Neil, Anurag, and Gavin all had gorgeous, eyes, thought Violet with a sigh. She was certain that she would be fantasizing about her little group of men, with their gorgeous eyes that night. It wasn't long before Violet had drifted off to dreamland, surrounded by thoughts of these sexy men and her engaged in passionate sexual positions.

Chapter 6. Violet & Gavin Go Houseboat Hunting

They finished their tours of three houseboats, all of which looked like ordinary houses, except they floated, all in this lovely community of colorful floating houses. Each one was unique in its design, some had lovely hanging gardens, stained glass windows that had been refurbished, adding more charm and character to the houseboats. They went for lunch at a charming little seafood restaurant called “Nessie's Place.” They both chose to go for the classic fish and chip dinner. They sat out on the outside terrace looking out onto the waterfront in this cozy waterfront town of Sausalito. It had been a fun afternoon exploring the three houseboats, each of them had their own unique look and feel. “I have to say the choice in furniture in that first houseboat was pretty eye catching—but might have been just a bit too far-out even for his peculiar personal tastes laughed Gavin.” “Oh yes especially that coffee table with the human looking legs, and that couch that looked like a set of big red lips!” laughed Violet. “Don't forget the coat hooks at the d
oor that looked like penises, when I saw those sticking out of the wall I thought I was ready to break down laughing right then and there” but with the homeowner present at the time I didn't want to offend him” replied Gavin. “It was certainly the most entertaining houseboat filled with so many off-the-wall items that you certainly would not find in an everyday household” replied Violet with a grin.

“Putting all the special styles in decorating aside, which of the three houseboats did you favor the most Violet?” “I would have to say the third one with its twirling iron staircase, and its lovely greenhouse on the upstairs, filled with all kinds of colorful plants. I just love how they rebuilt that old steamboat, keeping the water wheel and using it to hang plants on and lights was such as creative idea. It is so big and spacious, there is not a feeling of being cramped as I found with the other two. But of course they all have their special qualities” replied Violet. “Well Violet I have to agree with you my heart jumped at the site of boathouse three, she is lovely and roomy, I love how they kept the water wheel, it adds so much character to it. I am going to put an offer in on it and hopefully all will go well and before you know you will be coming to hang out with me on the houseboat in no time. I will be heading back to Scotland next Friday. I would love to spend more time with you Violet, when I return as a new immigrant. You are not only a very attractive woman, but you also have very good choice in boathouses. I would have been a bit worried if you had wanted to go with the boathouse with the penis coat rack” chuckled Gavin. “Violet gave Gavin her contact info, asking that he let her know if his offer was accepted on the houseboat.
