Siren's Song

“Holy shit.” Gabe shifted to rearrange his rapidly thickening hard-on. She gazed at him from across the room. Slow, steady steps brought her to him, one step directly in front of the other like a model on a runway. Gabe fought the claustrophobia of his shirt, wrestling with it frantically before it came loose and was thrown to the side. Her eyes danced at the sight of his cock poking through the top of his jeans. A predatory grin spread across her face as she studied his abs and pecs while biting her bottom lip. Only a step away from him, she trailed one finger from his belly button to his jeans where she rubbed it along the inside band, avoiding his erection. He ached for her to touch it, to rub herself on it. The battle not to grab her and have his way was one he was desperately trying to win.
Grasping the metal button to his jeans, she popped them open, pushing them all the way to the floor. As she bent with his pants, the distance was too much to take. He was throbbing, needing her like she’d never know. But maybe she did. Down went his boxers, and she made a small moaning noise at the full sight of him. The girth he offered caused her eyes to widen and a small smile to form on her lips. Lips she licked as she dropped to her knees in front of him. She kissed around his dick all the way to his balls. Her tongue ran his length, all the way back up his shaft. Gabe groaned; the feel of her tongue was intense but nowhere near enough. She planted a kiss on his cockhead, her lips slowly making it disappear into her mouth. Her mouth covered his dick, and she sucked down, coming back up only to swirl her tongue around the head. Like a sucker, she sealed her lips around his shaft, sucking right up until it popped out of her mouth.
“Oh, my, God.” Gabe couldn’t believe the feeling, the suction she created on him; the way he had to fight the urge to grab her head and beg her for more. With a quiet giggle, she went back to work. Quicker this time, she sucked his length. She slowed, sucked harder, and turned her head as she rose back up his shaft until he couldn’t take it anymore. When she reached the top of the head again, he grabbed under her jaw and pulled her face up to meet his. While she still kneeled in front of him, Gabe reached out and pulled one bra strap down, grasping at the now bare breast before him. Victoria rose in front of him, unclasped her bra, and tossed it to the side. He sat, staring up at her, his face level with her breasts. Cradling them, he brought them to his mouth to taste. As his tongue ran over her nipple, he craned his neck to watch her, to see the storms brewing in her eyes, but she was moving away.
Her movements were swift as she took the step away and turned to rub her ass against his hard length like a lap dance.
“Condom?” Her husky voice thrilled him.
It was hard to concentrate on even remembering where he kept condoms with her grinding against him, let alone unwrapping it and putting it on. But it was worth the battle. Gabe fought off a low growl as he slid the latex over his shaft, failing when she looped the sides of her lacy underwear and pulled them down. Bending and stepping out of them with her ass to him, Gabe rose and cradled her. He clung to her, pulling her hips closer. Reaching blindly up her chest, Gabe embraced her breasts and growled. “I’m going to take you now.” Gently but firmly, he turned them away so she faced the bed and pushed her down onto her knees.

Victoria held herself up with her palms on the mattress, Gabe’s body crashing in behind her. His hands moved between her legs, reached up to her stomach just to trail back down and part her sex with his finger. She’d never been as turned on as she was at that moment. Even the simple touch he gave her sex caused her to suck in air. She waited to feel the pressure of his wide head against her, his fingers moving away from her. At his entry, there was no stopping the delightful moan rising from her throat as her sex tightened around his dick. He thrust into her lightly, tentatively, but as she rocked back into him, he gained speed and fury. She lifted her hands from the bed and braced herself on the wall, pushing farther into him. Deeper and quicker into her, each thrust left their bodies slapping against each other. Even filled with him, it wasn’t enough. With her back to him, she could feel the muscles of his arms straining around her. His hips meeting her body. She pictured it with such clarity that seeing it with her own eyes even once would have been enough to finish her.
Gabe’s hands were on her hip and back, pulling her toward him. One hand’s pressure disappeared, and when she felt it again, her ponytail was wrapped around it. Gabe pulled on her hair as he thrust into her, making her scream in pleasure.
“Put your hands back down,” Gabe demanded. Victoria didn’t think, only responded. Whatever he wanted, he could have. She’d never felt a pleasure like this. She was tight, the ache in her stomach growing. She was going to come soon. She placed her hands on the bed as he’d demanded, but she was too weak to hold herself up. She lowered to her forearms and let her back follow suit, sticking her ass further out to him. “Oh, God,” Gabe moaned behind her as he ran his hand over her curves. He thrust feverishly while Victoria bit down another scream and tried to hold on to the feeling of ecstasy as long as she could.
With no warning, Gabe pulled out and flipped her over, his hands grasping her legs and pulling them high over her head as soon as she was on her back. He wrapped his left arm around her calf, kissing it before entering her again. In his eyes, she saw desire darken their normally light-blue hue. The need to make him feel as crazy as she did rose inside of her more quickly than she’d anticipated. She reached up and pressed her breasts together. Erect nipples popped up from between her fingers. Gabe reached down and pulled on one, rubbing on her breast. He leaned forward, his hand falling into hair that had come loose from her ponytail.
Letting her legs rest around him once more, Gabe leaned in, his chest resting against hers. Their hearts beat in sync as his kisses rained down on her. She could already feel the swelling that would come with such fierce kisses, the natural coloring staining them when their time this night was over. She loved the pressure of his body against hers, to the point of a small whine leaving her lips when he rose. Gabe put his thumb on her clit as he thrust. Whimpers escaped her, the unbearable pressure coming closer and closer to its peak. He thrust deeper and quicker, his thumb moving faster with it. Small screams echoed across the room until finally her stomach tightened and her back arched, pushing her body forward. Her sex squeezed around his shaft, and he groaned with her. Victoria came screaming; every touch he made sent her body shaking and jerking again. Gabe groaned loudly and grabbed her hips. A moment later he collapsed on the bed next to her, his chest heaving, eyelids drooping.
“Holy shit,” he huffed as he took off and tied up the condom, throwing it into a wastebasket near the bed. Victoria turned and placed an arm over his chest, the mild touch making his body jerk as wildly as hers had. “You wrecked me,” he whispered to her. “My life will never be the same.”
Victoria closed her eyes, feeling the slowing rise and fall of his chest under her cheek. It was surreal. She was in the arms of a man she never thought she’d know personally. Guitars, posters, lyrics, everything had been open to her, strewn about the apartment when they’d come in, but she’d been too busy wanting to have him to take any of it in. Against the pressure of her heavy lids, Victoria tried to fight one eye open to really look at the room. She felt it stir and flutter, but ultimately she lay exhausted and happy. The cosmo had given her confidence, but having Gabe want her the way he had had given her power. Confident and sure of herself as she hadn’t been in a long time, Victoria quit fighting the battle against her heavy eyelids and resigned herself to sleep.
Chapter 12
Gabe woke easily the next day. After a full night of sleep, it was nice to wake with one arm under the head of his siren. She may have crashed him, but she was down for the count too. His fingers curled around strands of her hair, feeling the silk run smoothly against his worn hands. She smelled like coconuts and summer. His free hand ran down her side. A smile formed on her lips as she slept, snuggling closer to him as he allowed himself the niceties that came with a real relationship. To
know her on two different levels brought more to the moment. He savored every touch he was allowed. When he had first asked the random fan to enter a chat with him, he’d been fighting insomnia and boredom. Never in a million years would he have guessed he’d be lying in bed with the cure to both of his problems in an exquisite bundle of warmth in his arms.
Her pink lips parted as she breathed, sleeping soundly on his chest. Morning sun crept through his curtains, casting the apartment in a warm glow. Gabe thought about his life at the moment. He felt happy. Happier than he could ever remember being. And not the kind of happy when the band worked on a new song or happy when they got a gig. Not even happy when getting a new guitar. Gabe was in his home with a beautiful and sweet girl asleep in his arms. He wrapped around her and squeezed her to him, resting his cheek on her head. Victoria made a small whimpering noise, but when he looked at her face, the smile remained. Not only was he happy, but he was tired too. Gabe took in a deep breath of coconut and fell back asleep.
When he woke next, he grabbed for his phone. They’d slept until almost eleven o’clock. Gently sliding his arm from under her head, Gabe straddled her to move off the bed. With a glance back to her, he saw gray eyes flashing. Sitting precariously atop her, he smiled. “Sorry, I was gonna jump in the shower.”
Victoria stretched her arms over her head and then stretched all the way to her toes. Her whole body went tight with the stretch, further waking his body up as well. She smiled sweetly as she brought her arms and legs back in to her body, pulled what was left of her ponytail loose, and snuggled deeper into his pillow. Gabe’s lips barely brushed the tip of her nose, her smile spreading like wildfire. “I didn’t mean to wake you, get your rest.” He brushed a quick kiss to her sleepy lips and hopped off the bed.
“Oh, I’m rested,” she quipped. Gabe watched in fascination as Victoria rolled over, twisting in the thin sheets clinging to her body.
“Tori?” Gabe’s voice shook slightly. He’d seen her naked last night, but the idea of her body twisted naked in his sheets while the morning light shone in was exciting in a whole new way.
“Gabe?” Victoria said his name with sarcasm. The outline of her partially hidden body made Gabe’s jaw open slightly, a subconscious reminder to breathe.
“Come shower with me.” His voice was almost pleading. He wanted her so bad he ached. The thought of scrubbing her up and wetting her down made his dick hard as a rock. Thinking it while she stretched again, letting the blanket draw tight over her thighs and erect nipples, made him hurt.
“Hmm…I guess I could use a shower.” Victoria sat up, holding the sheet over her chest, letting her legs hang free. Gabe knelt before her, kissing her knees and then up to her thighs. She let out an encouraging moan, and it gave him all the convincing he needed. He nibbled on her thigh, close enough he could almost taste her juices. He slid a finger up into her folds, and her knees relaxed. She was rested and ready; so was he. A shudder stole her body when he pulled away and moved toward the bathroom.
Gabe knew she would follow. It was hard to deny the need between them, but if she took her time, the anticipation of wanting to touch her again, knowing it would be soon, would only make it that much better. He imagined her tidying back up her ponytail and wiping around her eyes for any leftover makeup the morning sun would show.
Steam swirled around him as hot water pumped into the shower. Hesitating, Gabe hummed Siren’s Song and gave up on waiting. Sure, he thought she’d come in when she was ready, but after several minutes of solitude, real concern took anxiety’s place. If she was that opposed to it, he’d throw her on the bed and taste her there, but why wouldn’t she have said something?
He turned the water off and wrapped a towel around his waist. A sound resonated through the steam and into his mind. What the hell? “Tori?” He was met with silence. Water flew from his hair as he stepped out of the bathroom.
Muttered cursing came from down the short hall. Gabe looked cautiously, unsure what she could have knocked over that would warrant all the cursing. Gabe ran through a mental check. His guitars were on stands. She couldn’t knock over an amp if she tried, and he didn’t have any real valuable or sentimental items. Whatever it was, he’d take her mind off it in no time.
Gabe looked up in time to see his door closing. Tori had taken off on him. Something in the room had caused her to go from rowdy to rushed, but as he looked around, nothing was out of place. A few quick paces had him to the door and swinging it open just as her head disappeared down the stairs.
“Tori!” Gabe screamed out, but she didn’t stop. Not even thinking about the fact that he remained in only a towel, he ran to the outside door and ran into the afternoon sun. “Tori!” People on the street turned and looked at him, but one blonde head in the distance kept moving. Red heels were held in one hand as she ran away from him. The sun had already warmed the concrete that slapped under his wet feet. By the time he realized she had run too far to catch, Gabe turned around to shuffle back to the apartment.
His phone was at his desk, his finger hovering over her name, when something glittering on the wood of his desk caused him to look away from the phone. His computer screen was on, the abandoned home screen of Banshee Exodus logged in and ready as he always left it. Every other day he left himself logged in, so with barely a bump of the desk to wake up the computer, he could be in contact with BE fans. Of course, his screen name shone across the middle of the screen like always too.
“Shit.” His screen name, WriterGuy, was broadcast all over the place. Of course, that wasn’t bad enough on its own. The BE website took up exactly half the screen. The other half showed the lyrics he’d been working on. Gabe put his phone down and braced himself on the desk. That was when he noticed the two tiny pools of water. They ran together, slowly merging pools of tears.
A knife blade ran across his chest, or at least, it felt as severe. He couldn’t handle knowing he’d hurt her. Still shaking his head at himself, he picked the phone back up and hit her name.
“Who is this?” the voice on the other side demanded.
“Tori, God, I’m so sorry. I wanted to tell you.” Gabe glanced around his tiny studio apartment; the messy half-kitchen that ran right into the bedroom and right into the living room or, as he used it, office area. His whole life was on display and at extremely easy access. It was something that could have meant more to Tori if she’d only seen it that way. He wasn’t hiding anything from her. But then again, he looked back at the screen. He was hiding everything from her.
“And there was no opportunity for that to happen, right? Poor Gabe…or is this WriterGuy?” Victoria’s voice was sharp, unforgiving.
“Tori, please come back. I’ll explain everything.”
“Oh, you’ve explained enough. You pompous jerk. You knew what you were doing! You exploited me, for what? For lyrics! For a fucking song? My life, Gabe, my life.”
Gabe paused. How could he ever clear the air? “I’m sorry, but I can explain. Why were you on the computer, anyway?”
“Really? That’s your concern? I stumbled, bumped the desk, and bam I see I’m just a tramp. But keep thinking, Gabe, you’ll get there. Let’s talk about what else was on that screen. ‘The path of lies I put you on?’ Ring a bell?”
“Tori, I know you’re upset but please think about hearing me out.” Gabe didn’t want to lose her, especially like this. Especially after how happy he’d been a few moments ago. This is why he’d let music be his life. Music didn’t accuse, it explained.
“I think I have. My life and every other groupie you convinced you had real feelings for. Congratulations on your newest notch.”
Chapter 13
Victoria hung up the phone and burst into tears. It was a busy sidewalk, but people seemed to move for a frantic, crying girl tapping Delete furiously on her cell phone. Getting rid of his number was priority number two, getting away from him had been number one. She’d been so stupid. Of course she had been, the cosmo made her think it was okay. And
Sarah! Where was Sarah? Victoria slowed her pace, ducked into a small doorway, and wrapped her arms around herself. She wasn’t this girl, but she had liked being her, and it had left her on the street feeling more pathetic than she’d ever felt with Todd.
Smudges under her eyes were cleaned with a lick of her finger and a swipe. Such an easy solution, if only she could wash away all of her bad decisions so easily. She would never have stayed with Todd for so long for starters. Her history was so riddled with mistakes, the good parts actually seemed like a rarity. After only the first year of dating Todd, she’d noticed a change in their pace. By the second year, they had all but stopped trying to impress each other, and well, this was year three. Waitressing, yeah, she’d take that back too. Not all of it. She enjoyed the work, but she wished her college degree was more than just a Facebook status.
Victoria thought of all the people she’d met—even the pickiest customers could be soothed by a good meal. Try as she may, she couldn’t bring herself to regret any of them—even Gabe. In a way, she’d known him before then, even more personally than what they’d experienced the night before. In WriterGuy she’d found someone helpful and caring, interested but respectful of her space. Their conversations were brief, but she knew they’d both been waiting for the other’s name to come across the screen. She didn’t regret going home with Gabe. She didn’t regret opening herself up to a man she’d barely known.
Her tears dried up as she kept walking and thinking. She felt fooled by WriterGuy’s interest in her life and betrayed by Gabe’s eagerness to exploit it. He had known her weakness and jumped in for the kill. And that song. Siren’s Song. Funny how hours before she was reeling in the sting of jealousy over some girl that Gabe would sing about. Her heart fluttered at the memory—the smell of him still clinging to her, hearing him speak the words to her while she lay curled in his arms. Guarding herself from the cool breeze and staring strangers, Victoria tried to find comfort in her own arms, wrapping them around, protecting herself and his scent from the world around her trying to take it away.
