  Zhong Yue closed his eyes and when they have opened again, two dreadful Jiao Dragons surrounded by lightning appeared beneath his feet and soared right at the monster god’s inner core!

  The moment his hand grabbed onto the inner core, scales started to form beneath his skin in a split second!

  “Quick! Plant the beast god inner core into your psyche ocean!” Xin Huo shouted.

  “How?”

  Zhong Yue was completely lost, the beast god inner core was as big as a goose egg, how could he just plant it in his psyche ocean?

  While the conversation was going on, the scales grew all the way to his arm at great speed!

  Xin Huo shouted, “Just stuff it in!”

  Zhong Yue clenched his teeth, he raised his hand and pressed the beast god inner core onto his forehead between his two eyebrows!

  Chapter 40: Assimilation into the Monster Beast |

  When the beast god inner core made contact with Zhong Yue’s forehead skin, dense scales formed around his face, the force within the beast god essence was unfathomably strong, it was simply untouchable!

  At the same time, Xin Huo shouted, “Subsume it into your psyche!”

  Zhong Yue was shocked, his soul in the psyche ocean gazed dumbfoundedly at the inner core that was now floating in his psyche ocean, shining and giving off warm lights.

  “How did it….?” He was still unable to fully interpret what happened back then.

  “The beast god inner core is the beast god essence, how would the essence be physical?”

  Xin Huo laughed and said, “All you need to do now is to keep on visualizing the Sui Sovereign so as to refine the non-stop leaking essence from the beast god inner core, or otherwise you will be assimilated into the beast god’s monster beast form.”

  Zhong Yue quickly visualized the Sui Sovereign but the essence was too strong and a greater amount was flowing out from the beast god inner core, he could not refine them all in time.

  He quickly lowered his sights, his palms were turning thicker and stronger, scales were hardening and the muscles in his arms were bulging up!

  Cui!

  A clear sound came from behind, Zhong Yue could tell that a hole was pierced by something on his beast hide shorts, he quickly reached out his hand and his hand got in touch with a growing tail!

  He turned his head and had a look, it was a dragon’s tail with tiger skin patterns but in the middle of the dorsal grew long bristles of coarse hair.

  Before his sentence was finished, two gentle and clarion sounds could be heard, two corneous coronal bones grew to protrude out from his forehead!

  His body was also starting to increase in size, his muscles and bones kept on developing, one after another new ribs were formed, there were twenty-four ribs before but now they were doubled, another twenty-four ribs grew!

  In the blink of an eye, his body was two times larger than before, he had turned into a monster beast!

  “Eheh, the fallen beast god was actually a Xiang Dragon, having the bloodline of the dragon, horse and tiger!”

  While Xin Huo exclaimed out in surprise, Zhong Yue’s head was starting to change also, his jaws became wider and sharp fangs developed in his mouth, soft and long beards grew out, his head was like a combination of a dragon head, horse head and a tiger head!

  His neck was also lengthening, scales grew all over but there were bristles around his neck, Zhong Yue could not help but to support himself down on the floor with his two hands, his tail grew longer and longer, it was a dragon’s tail with tiger skin patterns and horse bristles!

  As of now, he was already 17-18 feet long, like a dragon, a horse and a tiger, exuding the imposing aura of a first class monster beast!

  “The Xiang Dragon is an auspicious beast, also a strong and ferocious beast!”

  Xin Huo could not feel the pressure in Zhong Yue’s heart at all, he was rather excited as he redirected the subject, “But now you hold the form of a Xiang Dragon, the Xiang Dragon is incredibly strong, having the strength of a dragon and tiger, the speed of a heavenly horse, with the unlimited power supply from the beast god essence in your psyche ocean, it is just serendipitous that you now have the ability to dig the last high platform out from underground!   Looking at the Jiao Dragon, his mind went blank, the Jiao Dragons he visualized before only managed to reach hundreds of feet long but all of a sudden, it lengthened to a thousand feet long, giving him the shock of his life!

  “The Xiang Dragon possesses strong psyche from birth, you are in the form of a Xiang Dragon, naturally your psyche will get stronger!”

  Xin Huo said, “There is no need to be surprised, if you have refined the beast god essence and unshackle yourself from the form of Xiang Dragon, your psyche will also be this strong. Now hurry, dig out the platform!”

  Zhong Yue’s thoughts shifted, the Jiao Dragon jabbed it’s claws into the ground, with a single pull, the ground was gouged open by over hundreds of feet!

  Zhong Yue jumped down, he carried the high platform out from the pit hole and returned it to its original position under Xin Huo’s guidance.

  At the same time, outside of the beast god seal, a river of Wei water flowed in mid-air progressing towards the Beast God Ridge, on top of the river was a ship.

  The Wei water river, it was formed from psyche!

  On the ship, Qi Practitioners of the Shuitu Clan stood on the deck, the Shui Tu Clan elder Shui Zian was controlling the direction of the river towards the beast god seal in the Beast God Ridge while his hand was playing with his beard.

  “The grand elder is too conservative.”

  Shui Zian laughed as he told the Qi Practitioners behind him, “He only thinks of preventing a war with the monster race, but he knew nothing of the ways to make a business deal. If we can’t break the beast god seal, Anshan, you will proceed and sell this news to the monster race outside of the Great Wilderness, remember to get a good price for it.”

  Behind his back, Shui Anshan was a little hesitant, “Selling news such as the appearance of a God-level array to the monster race? I’m afraid the people will name us, the Shuit Tu Clan, as traitors of the Great Wilderness….”

  “Traitors? You are over exaggerating.”

  The Qi Practitioners’ faces changed as they shouted out in shock, “It’s the Xiang Dragon! The mythical auspicious beast even rarer than the Four Ken Beast in the Swords Gate!”

  “Oh god, in a place like the Beast God Ridge, how can there be such mythical beast? Could it be that there are really precious treasures in the Beast God Ridge?”

  Shui Zian was also moved, he quickly said, “There must be something more precious in the Beast God Ridge! I will personally head to the beast god seal, you all will chase after the Xiang Dragon!”

  The Qi Practitioners nodded and they quickly flew into the sky following the tracks left behind by Zhong Yue. Shui Zian took a deep breath and strode towards the winter-white cliff, he mumbled to himself, “Even the Xiang Dragon appeared, did it escaped out from the God-level seal array? The grand elder said that there weren’t any treasures we humans can use in the seal, I’m afraid he might be wrong….”

  “According to historical data records, the Xiang Dragon is a godly beast, it possesses the bloodline of the dragon, heavenly horse and Hou Lion, with all these three beasts are all ancient god species.”

  Among the four Shui Tu Clan Qi Practitioners that were chasing behind Zhong Yue, at the forefront was Shui Anshan, he quickly said, “The Xiang Dragon is uncommonly hard to come by, who knew there would be one in the Great Wilderness, moreover a cub!   One of the Shui Tu Clan asked curiously, “That Xiang Dragon was over two hundred feet long and it is still a cub?”

  Shui Anshan laughed and said, “A matured Xiang Dragon will be like a god, it’s body sized like a mountain, in a single step it could cross over from one side to the other of the sea or mountains.   The other three Qi Practitioners heaved a breath of relief, they smiled, “A cub at its early infant stage, this will surely be an effortless task, as easy as blowing off dust.”

  The moment Zhong Yue leaped out from the beast god seal, he instantly noticed the Shui Tu Clan’s ship landing down, but he was now assimilated by the beast god essence and had turned into a Xiang Dragon, to the humans, his appearance was exactly like a monster beast, hence, it was unwise for him to confront them. Plus, he did not have any good impression on the Shui Tu Clan, and so he immediately went away on his own.

  I need to find a secluded and uninhabited place to concentrate on my cultivation so that I can refine the beast god essence in my body and revert back to my human form as soon as possible, or otherwise, if I am mistaken as a monster beast and was to be wrongly slain by the humans, then I would die in shame first.

  One of the Shui Tu Clan Qi Practitioners stood in mid-air and looked down at Zhong Yue who was rushing through the woods, he grinned as a God of River, Hebo suddenly appeared behind him, the Hebo was enveloped with water currents around him, he then reached out his hands towards Zhong Yue!

  It was the same visualization of the God of River, Hebo, but there were great differences in prowess between the Hebo cast by the Qi Practitioner and Shui Qinghe. The Hebo that was visualized by Shui Qinghe was exquisite and replete with flesh, blood, and bones. However, the Hebo visualized by the Qi Practitioner not only didn’t lack any of these, it also exuded a heavenly saint aura evocative of a true god!

  Hebo is a heavenly god, the ancient god that commands all waters!
