  “Water Lotus Sword Qi, another true quintessence!”

  The Qi Practitioner beside could not help but to exclaim out in shock, “This young lady of the Shui Tu Clan, even if she didn’t use the Ten Malefic Weapons, she will still be the strongest in the upper house!”

  On the street, the water lotuses bloomed gracefully, the flower pistils slashed and cut like swords, the scene was indeed shocking to the others. While Zhong Yue was like a mighty dragon soaring and fluttering in the skies, he landed on a nine-floored high building beside the street, with but a thought on his psyche, tens of thin and tiny dragons were formed and clashed with the water Sword Qi.

  A light drizzle of rain fell as the water Sword Qi were destroyed.

  ‘Shui Qingyan’ moved, beneath her feet, tides of water lifted her up higher and higher, she took another step and she was already on the high building, facing squarely with Zhong Yue.

  Riptide shields around her loomed out whenever the dragon-shaped Sword Qi struck, the dragon-shaped Sword Qis were intensive but the riptide shields were also great in number, the two forces clashed and emanated sounds like an elegant musical instrument.

  “These two, they have both achieved the level of unconscious visualization….” The Qi Practitioner mumbled to himself.

  The ability to actualize the virtuality was indicative of the prowess of the cultivator’s psyche while to visualize subconsciously and unconsciously pertained to the applications of the psyche. Among the two, subconsciously visualization is the essential skill for a Qi Practitioner, like how humans were able to drink, eat and sleep without intentionally thinking about it.

  While the unconscious visualization was achieved when one visualized naturally without any thoughts as to how humans breathed, whether it be the attacking speed or rate, unconscious visualization was way beyond the level of subconscious visualization!

  Even the Qi Practitioner himself had only achieved the level of subconscious visualization, he was still a distance away from being able to visualize unconsciously; but the two youngsters, Zhong Yue and ‘Shui Qingyan’ were both able to achieve the level of unconscious visualization, he could not help but to fall into a deep spell of despondency.

  Krong krong – the building was shaking and suddenly the floor below Zhong Yue was blasted away, one after another, dreadful water dragons crawled out from the building and pounced onto Zhong Yue.

  Zhong Yue quickly shifted his positions, he slid and evaded the water dragon strikes while slowly coming close to ‘Shui Qingyan’. As the water dragons crashed in and out of the building, the wooden-structured high building was on the verge of collapsing.

  “Unsheathe!”

  As Zhong Yue murmured, the Dragon Scale Sword in the sword scabbard flew out into his hands.

  “Jiao Dragon Winding Body!”

  Zhong Yue again murmured, the psyche in his body materialized into a ferocious Jiao Dragon winding around him, he stood on two dragons with a dragon on each of his four limbs, even the Dragon Scale Sword was environed with a Jiao Dragon. The two lightning Jiao Dragon beneath his feet carried him and charged right at ‘Shui Qingyan’!

  Around him, the water dragons crashed out from the high building and with their dragon heads up high, they pounced down onto Zhong Yue. At that instant, pillars and walls fell off from the structure and the high building finally collapsed.

  But Zhong Yue was still rushing towards ‘Shui Qingyan’ without decreasing his speed, instead, he was getting faster and faster, with the two dragons beneath him, he charged fiercely at ‘Shui Qingyan’.

  ‘Shui Qingyan’ released a shout, a Hebo that was over a hundred feet tall appeared behind her, it waved its hand as if it was grabbing something, the air rippled like water and an eighty feet long ice apparition sword came out of nowhere slashing down towards Zhong Yue!

  Sword rays flashes, thunders rumbled and Jiao Dragon whistled, along with the crumbling sound of the high building collapsing, the Hebo great sword and Dragon Scale Sword clashed into one another – Zheng zheng zheng – explosive sounds resounded throughout the whole street.

  By now, the high building was nearly entirely collapsed, the two youngsters were both standing in mid-air clashing into one another at great speed, so quick that one could not fully capture their movements with naked eyes.

  The Qi Practitioner’s heart was twitching almost into a clump, he was nervous as he closely watched the duel of the two youngsters.

  “The Hebo body and Hebo sword, another two quiddities, this Shui Tu Clan young lady is really surprising, just exactly how many quiddities was she imparted with?”

  The Qi Practitioner was bemoaning, “And this Zhong Shan Clan member, he is really abnormal, with only the true quintessence of the inferior Spring Thunder Swords Skill, he was able to compete with this Shui Tu Clan talented young lady for so long until now! Why am I so unlucky to have met with these two freaks?”

  “You are strong, but it seems like you might have just known something you shouldn’t, it is time for you to go.”

  ‘Shui Qingyan’’s eyes flashed, she mumbled. Over hundreds of water lotuses appeared in mid-air surrounding her and Zhong Yue and the water lotuses bloomed elegantly.

  As the water lotuses flowers bloomed, the water lotus Sword Qis filled the surroundings, each and every water lotus had eighteen flower pistils which formed eighteen Sword Qis, with all the over hundred water lotuses together, nearly two thousand Sword Qis were formed and deluged the air.

  The Sword Qis thrust towards Zhong Yue from every direction, there was nowhere for him to hide and no avenue for evasion!

  The Qi Practitioner’s mind was blank, ‘Shui Qingyan’’s psyche prowess is not typical of an upper house disciple, such a strong and solid psyche, her psyche was already at the level of Qi Practitioners!

  “Brat Yue, you need my help?”

  In Zhong Yue’s psyche ocean, Xin Huo was filled trepidation, he looked through Zhong Yue’s eyes and all he could see was only a sky full of Sword Qi and a god-devil like Hebo with a giant sword, he quickly said, “Quick, hand over control of your body….”

  “No need for that! Xin Huo, I’ll let you see what I’ve achieved after going through all that training, I’ll let you see whether if I’ve met with your expectations and requirements, to see if my strength is strong enough! I will let you witness the full explosive force of my strength!”

  Zhong Yue released a loud shout, and the Jiao Dragons winding around him disappeared, dragon scales could be seen crawling all over his body in, behind him stood the faint figure of a monster beast, like a dragon, a horse, and a tiger, it was the Xiang Dragon.

  He did not visualize the Sui Sovereign but instead, chose the Xiang Dragon which he was most familiar with. The Xiang Dragon behind his body was materialized by his psyche and the next moment, it entered his body, Zhong Yue let out a muffled dragon whistle.

  When the Sword Qis thrust towards Zhong Yue’s dragon scaled body – Peng peng peng – explosive sounds could be heard as the Sword Qis struck on him, the dragon scales quivered but he was left unharmed, not even a single dragon scale was pierced through!

  Zhong Yue lifted his fist and punched towards the giant sword of Hebo, at that instant, the ice apparition sword crackled and cracks crawled all over the sword. Hebo slammed its other fist down and clashed with Zhong Yue’s other fist, muffled sounds of clattering rumbled like thunder.

  ‘Shui Qingyan’’s eyes were filled with surprise as the Hebo body behind her was blasted away!

  Behind Zhong Yue, the Xiang Dragon tail slashed around and the Dragon Scale Sword thrust right towards ‘Shui Qingyan’s head, in an instant, it was an inch away from her forehead, the Sword Qi was sharp and incisive and it was on the verge of piercing through the young lady’s head!

  Chapter 53: Perish Together |

  The Qi Practitioner in mid-air yelled out in shock, he was on the verge of intervening.

  When Zhong Yue was struck by the two thousand Water Lotus Sword Qi, he was
prepared to intervene and extricate Zhong Yue from his impending death, now when Zhong Yue’s Dragon Scale Sword reached to ‘Shui Qingyan’’s forehead, he was also the verge of intervening and save ‘Shui Qingyan’.

  The two youngsters switched roles too quickly, even as a Qi Practitioner it was hard for him to catch up to them, his heart thumped with great speed.

  “Zhong Shan Clan’s soul weapon is too quick, I can’t make it in time.” Cold sweat rushed out of the Qi Practitioner’s head.

  Just right when the Dragon Scale Sword was about to pierce through her head, the Sword Cocoon on her hair moved, the sword silk bristled up and vertically sliced right down.

  The tip of the Dragon Scale Sword was slashed shorter by an inch, the sword silk then intertwined itself onto the Dragon Scale Sword.

  Another exclamation came from the Qi Practitioner, he was ready to save Zhong Yue as Zhong Yue had his soul in the soul weapon, if the Dragon Scale Sword was destroyed, his soul would also disperse.

  But before the Qi Practitioner was able to do anything, Zhong Yue shook his arms and the Dragon Blood Sword Scabbard flew up, the Dragon Scale Sword immediately turned into a flashing ray – Shua – it entered the sword scabbard before the sword silk was able to destroy it.

  “Such a quick response?” The Qi Practitioner was shocked, his heart almost fell out from his mouth.

  The Dragon Blood Sword Scabbard closed, the sword silk followed behind Dragon Scale Sword in a straight line like a thread towards Zhong Yue, intending to slice Zhong Yue in half!

  Zhong Yue’s body suddenly descended down to the ground, while ‘Shui Qingyan’ followed him with the sword silk flashes in the air towards Zhong Yue.

  The two landed one after another, it was at this time where the high building collapsed wholly.

  ‘Shui Qingyan’ pressed forward, she did not hold the sword silk in her hands, the sword silk was flying and enveloping around her body like a tiny flash of lightning, no one could possibly catch such a thin and tiny sword silk. She controlled the sword silk with her soul and psyche, she could allow the sword silk to reach to anywhere and turn into any form.

  Zhong Yue had long realized that the Sword Qi is stronger when they are small and ever-changing rather than the bigger sizes ones. Therefore, the Xiang Dragon Sword Qi he cultivated was aimed to be small in size and a form that could change as he desired, hence, he knew the power of the sword silk.

  The smaller, the more danger it imposes, but at the same time, the requirement for the user’s psyche would be higher!

  The Sword Cocoon was so thin like silk, the psyche requirement to control it would be correspondingly high, but his opponent was the Tian Myriad Mother that was possessing Shui Qingyan’s body; her psych prowess was definitely of the god-devil level!

  When faced with such an incredibly strong sword silk, Zhong Yue could only maintain a distance and keep on bursting his psyche into lightning Sword Qi and Jiao Dragons pouncing towards ‘Shui Qingyan’ while waiting for the chance to land the killing blow.

  At the same time, he was like a brutal god, standing on two dragons and his whole body winded with Jiao Dragons, he unleashed his body strength with all his might.

  Peng——

  A human-shaped hole was made on the thick wall of a temple when Zhong Yue was shoved onto it, he receded back into the temple and the lightning Sword Qi rushed out like tiny Jiao Dragons from the human-shaped hole towards ‘Shui Qingyan’!

  Chui——

  An insignificant sword ray flashed over, the wall of the temple was sliced into pieces and projected into the temple crashing onto the copper pillars, even the lightning Sword Qi in the air was all sliced off.

  The sharpness of the Sword Cocoon sword silk was evident!

  ‘Shui Qingyan’ strode into the temple, the copper pillar was uprooted by Zhong Yue and he swung it around towards his formidable foe.

  All of a sudden, the sword silk bristled up and pierced through the center of the copper pillar, a slight trickle of blood appeared on Zhong Yue’s forehead but before the sword silk could pierce through his skull, he leaped backward and avoided his death. His psyche wreathed around a hundred feet tall giant statue and hurled it towards ‘Shui Qingyan’.

  “Water Dragon Twist!”

  The cerulean water dragons appeared and crushed the statue into pieces.

  ‘Shui Qingyan’ walked forwards and the two youngsters fought in the temple, sword rays flashed around and suddenly, a loud cracking sound could be heard as the temple started to crumble, two figures could be seen dashing out from the dust and stones into another building while slashing and fighting each other.

  Krong ——

  Came a loud noise and not long after, the building collapsed following the footsteps of the temple.

  Finally, the Qi Practitioner in the air could not maintain his composure anymore, he flew into the castle and lowered his sights, he could see that the temples and buildings were collapsing one after another as the landscape was filled with detritus that seemed as if there were two giant monsters fighting in the castle – the scene that entered into his eyes was horrific.

  “They are still fighting, there is no winner yet?”

  The Qi Practitioner’s face was twisted, the scenes before his eyes would leave an indelible impression on his heart as he was frozen in shock and fright, but as the buildings obstructed his sights, he did not have a direct view of the fight, he mumbled, “One of them might just die anytime, just that who would it be … these two freaks!”

  Suddenly, his face changed drastically, not far away from the battlefield, there were two upper house core disciples dueling each other, Yu Zhenlong of the You Yu Clan and Nan Zhen of the Nan Lu Clan, they both possessed strong prowess.

  The two fought around a tall building, their psyches materialized respectively into the fish-dragon and mountains.

  “Get out of the way!”

  The Qi Practitioner waved his hands and shouted out, “Quick, get out of the way!”

  Yu Zhenlong and Nan Zhen were both immersed in the duel but were startled when they heard the call. They asked in puzzlement, “What is going on?”

  Just when the duo was wondering what was going on, the ground beneath them started quaking as if there were two monster beasts ramming on the building causing the building to quiver vigorously. They quickly looked over and saw Sword Qi-like dragons and pythons flogging and crushing the bottom floors of the building!

  At the same time, an insignificant sword ray flashed over, the over two hundreds feet sword ray slashed in great speed, in but a second, the building of radius two hundred feet was sliced into pieces!

  While Yu Zhenlong and Nan Zhen were both in that deadly range of two hundred feets radius.

  Their scalps tingled as the sword rays flashed in their eyes, they inexplicably felt the guillotine of death threatening to befall them.

  Right at that moment, a force of strong power weaved them and pulled them up into the sky and an umbrella-like soul weapon opened up in front of them blocking the slash from the sword ray.

  Cui cui cui – The umbrella was slashed into pieces.

  In the air, a female Qi Practitioner grabbed on Yu Zhenlong and Nan Zhen, her face contorted in pain as she helplessly witnessed the destruction of her soul weapon. Fortunately, she knew the danger of the sword ray hence, she did not place her soul in her soul weapon or otherwise, her soul would perish along with the soul weapon.

  “The Sword Cocoon of the Ten Malefic Weapons?”

  The female Qi Practitioner exclaimed in shock, her face was suffused with disbelief, she yelled out involuntarily, “Who controlled the Sword Cocoon? Could it be one of the Shui Tu Clan? Who has such an ability to compete with the Sword Cocoon without dying?”

  “He is the Zhongshan Clan disciple that offended both the
Tian Feng Clan and Shui Tu Clan, I think his name is called as Zhong Yue, the one that controlled the Sword Cocoon and fought with him is Shui Qingyan from the Shui Tu Clan.”

  The Qi Practitioner in charge of Zhong Yue flew over, he smiled wryly and said, “I have notified the elder, if the elder is not here yet I’m afraid I will be shocked to death by them. Ey, the elder is here!”

  On the sea, the elder flew amidst the wind at great speed towards the castle on the sea.

  Below the Qi Practitioners, Zhong Yue furrowed his brows, he could tell that the attacks were getting quicker and stronger, it was clear that she intended to kill him before the elder arrived as he might have known of her true identity!

  “It’s the same for me, I will also kill you before the elder arrives!”

  Zhong Yue’s eyes flashed, Dragon Blood Sword Scabbard behind him ascended into the air, Tak – the sword scabbard opened up.

  Zhong Yue murmured, the sword flashed while the sword silk intertwined in the air like a web, ‘Shui Qingyan’’s intention was simple, she wanted to destroy the Dragon Scale Sword and Zhong Yue’s soul in it as soon as Dragon Scale Sword unsheath from the sword scabbard, she did not want to leave him with the slightest chance of survival.

  But her attack missed, the Dragon Scale Sword did not unsheath from the sword scabbard.

  Zhong Yue laughed out loud, he slammed heavily into his palm and the Dragon Blood Sword Scabbard thrust towards ‘Shui Qingyan’ through the web intertwined by the sword silk!

  “Are you starting to fight desperately like a cornered wild beast?”

  ‘Shui Qingyan’ snorted, one end of the Sword Cocoon sword silk slashed towards Zhong Yue while the other end thrust right at the sword scabbard. Zhong Yue released a fierce roar, he visualized the lightning Xiang Dragon and an over hundred foot long Xiang Dragon appeared with its claws entrenched in the ground, with a sudden lift of its claws, the ground trembled as a humongous clump of earth was hurled towards the Sword Cocoon sword silk.
