  Qiu Jin'er gritted her teeth and mumbled bitterly to the dead. She pulled out the Golden Peng Sword, and the lifeless Kui Long expert fell to the ground. His spirit emerged above the dead body and dispersed into thin air.

  Qiu Jin'er quickly darted back to Zhong Yue and found him fainted. The young girl immediately removed all of his clothes, and a completely naked Zhong Yue was presented before her eyes.

  She looked at his body, and her beautiful countenance blushed red as she furtively peeped at his private part. She regained her thoughts and quickly applied the Yuling Paste all over his body. Zhong Yue's injuries were too heavy, but thankfully, Qiu Jin'er brought a substantial amount of Yuling Paste that was more than enough to cover every part of her senior martial brother's body. Even his nether regions were covered with the Yuling Paste.

  Her act of covering his privates with the Yuling Paste was a way of covering up distractions. After she did so, her thoughts were no longer distracted. She then checked on Zhong Yue's injuries, her psyche in his body and helped him in remedying his disordered arcane energy. After a long time, she finally heaved a breath of relief as Zhong Yue's breathing became even and his psyche had also calmed down.

Her legs turned to wood because of the excessive Wood Qi in her body, and she is forced to travel in a wheelchair. However, she has insights into the 【Sword Seedling Art】from the【Great Boundless Sword Qi】, seemingly having received the Swords Gate's headmaster's heritage."

  Everyone frowned upon hearing the news as it was of little use to them.

  Meanwhile, Qiu Jin'er had traveled for almost 8000 miles away from the scene. The vine man she visualized may not be as fast as Zhong Yue's Great Sun Golden Crow, but with her cultivation base, she too managed to travel fast enough with the vine man.

  Throughout her journey, she constantly changed direction, deploying traps everywhere as she feared that only one would not be enough to kill the pursuers.

  Zhong Yue however, remained unconscious, leaving only the girl for herself to figure out a way to leave this place. Fortunately, she was an Innate Wood Spirit Body, which naturally granted her a far higher energy capacity as compared to others.

  Suddenly, when she passed by a village, the Zhong Li Celestial Race's villagers all looked at her, and her face quickly changed as she realized something.

  She quickly turned around, flicked her fingers, and shot out invisible Sword Qi that destroyed the totem pillars at the center of the village. The flying debris from the explosion shocked the villagers around her.

  This is bad, this is bad!

  As she thought this, she quickly ran away in full speed, This is bad, I tried my best to travel in the mountains and avoid these villages, but I still had to pass by some villages just now. The pursuers must have gotten wind of our location by now.

  She suddenly stopped and jumped down from the vine man. She slammed her palms onto the ground before jumping back to the vine man, running away into the mountains.

  The Qi Practitioners continued with their pursuit. Not long later, they arrived at the spot where Qiu Jin'er summoned her vine men. There were no more Xiao Mang Celestial Race's Qi Practitioners because all of them were killed in the oasis, but the pursuers did not fret as they too had their own tracking experts. These experts immediately looked around and examined the traces, and they all came to one conclusion: Qiu Jin'er's had split into over ten paths that went in different directions!

  "Such a cunning lady…." exclaimed the pursuers as they had an extreme headache because of the difficulties caused by Qiu Jin'er.

  Her scent that had initially been directing them in one direction had suddenly splintered off to over ten paths. How were they supposed to find her now? The scent paths were virtually indistinguishable from one another?

  However, only one of them was real, but if they went after all of them, it would be extremely time-consuming!

  "Follow me. We will have to request help from the Xiao Mang Celestial Race!"
