  “Quickly," Zhong Yue urged.

  Left with no choice, Tian Mo Concubine could only step forward and force herself to refine Jin Sha King. However, this Jin Sha King was, after all, a magnate while she was just an Inner Core Qi Practitioner who was half a step away from the Heavenly Dharma level. It wasn’t easy for her to refine Jin Sha King.

  But she was a master in refining the Gu insects and Jin Sha King was already severely injured. Thus, the refining process was made a little easier.

  Zhong Yue carried Jin Sha King as they continued traveling while Tian Mo Concubine stood above Jin Sha King’s head to continue her refinement.

  This was the planet of insects; although they were strong, the insect race had more magnates than all of them added up together. It was already a blessing that they were still alive.

  These insect experts know the terrain and were able to use that to their advantage. Every movement they made was known by the insects, and even if the insects weren’t able to stop them , they would still die of exhaustion by end of the day at this rate.

  And this was not to mention that there were also formidable experts in the insect race. The number of insect magnates wasn’t small and were stronger than most of them!

  Abruptly, Zhong Yue said in a solemn tone, “Fight fire with fire.”

  “Fight fire with fire?" Fang Jiange mumbled curiously.

  Zhong Yue nodded and explained, “We will refine every insect magnate we come across. Eventually, our insect force will grow enough to allow us to escape, unless…”

  He raised his brow and said, "... Unless, the insect gods come after us themselves!”

  The other experts’ eyes brightened up, they turned to Tian Mo Concubine, Saint Concubine and Ji Xiang Concubine in unison. Although the Swords Gate experts were taught the ways to refine the insects, they surely wouldn’t be as good as the demons.

  Saint Concubine shook her head and said, “I don’t have much attainment in this.”

  Ji Xiang Concubine who had the experience of refining some Gu insects shook her head as well, she said, “I’m not as good as Tian’er.”

  Meanwhile, Tian Mo Concubine heaved a breath of relief. She leaped down from Jin Sha King’s body and said while smiling, “Finally settled this big guy! It’s now the time of dead or alive, I will not hold back and will teach you all what I know, but as for how much can you all absorb, that is up to you yourselves.”

  Right after she finished speaking, she started teaching the crowd how to refine insects. Zhong Yue listened to her and surely enough, her way was much better than his.

  From then onward, the crowd stopped killing the insect magnates and refined every single insect magnate they encountered instead.

  Not long after, there were already six insect magnates by their sides. Even Zhong Yue refined an insect magnate of a Golden King Race. The insect magnate looked like a giant green toad with six legs, a pair of snake-like eyes, and a pair of horns on top of his head.

  This insect magnate was huge and strong, he could turn into a toad-headed celestial with incredible strength.

  Bo Xun also refined an insect magnate of the Green Iguana King Race.

  Fang Jiange, Gu Hongzi, and the others also refined an insect magnate of their own, even Qiu Jin’er managed to refine one.

  The five of them were becoming increasingly proficient at refining insects, while Zuo Xiangsheng, Tian Yanzhong, Saint Concubine, and the weaker ones were still struggling to refine an insect magnate.

  With these insect magnates fighting alongside them, they were able to break through the encirclement of the insect experts. Tian Mo Concubine also found out the way to leave the underground from Jin Sha King’s memories.

  Zhong Yue looked around and a thought flashed across his mind, he said, “Hide in the insects’ Yuan Shen secret realms. That way, we will be able to disappear from the senses of the insect experts.”

  The crowd nodded and immediately opened up the insect magnates’ Yuan Shen secret realms before hiding in it.

  Zuo Xiangsheng and Tian Yanzhong didn’t manage to refine any insect magnates, but they still had a few insect giants with them and so were also able to hide in the insect Qi Practitioners’ Yuan Shen secret realms.

  Meanwhile, Saint Concubine and the other demon ladies entered the Yuan Shen secret realms of Bo Xun’s insect magnate.

  The crowd prepared themselves and moved the insects out from the underground.

  Along the way, there were posts and guards everywhere. The insect experts were vigilant searching for their whereabouts and insect swarms were filling in the tunnels.

  “The insects raised their guards, no single insects are to leave the underground.”

  Zhong Yue and the others were just over a mile away from exiting the underground, but were pushed back into the tunnels. The insect experts were all over the place, they held the divine weapons and worshipped the temples, sealing the ground surface down and stopping any insects from moving out.

  Thankfully, their ploy prevented them from being spotted at all....

  “To the back of the insect planet," Gu Hongzi transmitted his voice to the experts, “The insect race is all over this side of the insect planet. The other side must not as tightly monitored.”

  The crowd immediately took a sharp turn and rushed for the back of the insect planet.

  Krong——

  A loud burst of godly aura blew out from the underground while Zhong Yue and the others were moving the insect magnates to travel further.

  They looked over and saw three gods tangling in a battle. The godly battle was so intense that the tunnels were totally struck away and created a huge hole underground around them!

  Among the three gods, two were the insect gods and the other was a West Barren celestial god in the center of the battlefield. This celestial god was soaked with blood and was struggling in the beleaguerment of two insect gods!

  “This celestial god, he can’t escape death anymore." They thought as the insect magnates were traveling away from the battlefield.

  Tens of days later, they had gone deeper underground. At first, there were still many guards and patrols around the tunnels, but the further they went, the sparser the insect presence became.

  When they reached to the core of the insect planet, they found a huge skeleton residing in what was supposedly the plan
et’s core.

  It was the mother queen’s body!

  This whole skeleton was forged from divine gold, and it lit up every corner of the planet core — it was a truly stunning sight to behold.

  “This mother queen’s body is a real fortune; it’s at least an emperor-level demon divine weapon!”

  The experts gazed at the skeleton but didn’t go closer to it as the godly aura around it was so immense that they couldn’t get any nearer.

  “Arghh—— Where can the Ancestral Star Qi Practitioners be?" Princess Jin Xiu and the other insect experts were searching all over the place but couldn’t found the traces of Zhong Yue and the others.

  They furrowed their brows in puzzlement. The insect race placed down such tight and impenetrable nets of guards and patrols, it was impossible for Zhong Yue and the Ancestral Star Qi Practitioners to slip through their fingers. Even if they could, some of the insects would surely spot them and alert the insect race.

  Suddenly, a thought flashed across Princess Jin Xiu’s mind and she sneered codly, she said, “Bring that celestial expert over to me!”

  An insect expert held a metal chain and walked over. On the other end of the metal chain was a three-headed Pan Ao whose fur was covered in clotted blood. He was shouting, “Princess, we’ve agreed that I will surrender the plans of the Ancestral Star and you will let me live. Are you going back on your words now!?”

  “Of course not," Princes Jin Xiu chortled and said, “Lang Qingyun, you said that you’ve surrendered but what if you didn’t want to serve us willingly? Wouldn’t I be suffering a great loss then? Soul Infectious Bug, come over.”

  She summoned a near starfish looking insect Qi Practitioner over to her and flicked her finger.

  Immediately, the starfish looking insect billowed into Lang Qingyun’s mind and crawled all over Lang Qingyun’s Yuan Shen.

  “Now, now, with the Soul Infectious Bug, I’m feeling more relieved." Princess Jin Xiu waved her hand to signal the metal chain to be loosened. She said while smiling, “I’ve been searching for a few cheeky Qi Practitioners but they are real hard to catch, can you tell me where they are?”

  Lang Qingyun knew his life was now in her hands, he tilted his body forward and said respectfully, “May I ask the great princess, who are the Qi Practitioners you are searching for?”

  With a thought, Princess Jin Xiu surged out her psyche and visualized the image of Zhong Yue, Gu Hongzi, Fang Jiange and the others.

  Lang Qingyun’s eyes immediately flahsed and he smiled, “I don’t know what goes through Fang Jiange and the Zhong Yue’s mind, but Gu Hongzi is someone I understand. I can tell what he is planning. If he can’t get through princess’s patrols and guards, he will take a turn and go for the back of the insect planet. Princess, do you any guards on the other side of the insect planet?”

  At that moment, Princess Jin Xiu seemed to arrive at an epiphany. She clapped her hands and said approvingly, “Sure enough, only you Ancestral Star Qi Practitioners know yourselves better! My fellow insects, it’s time to hunt for our prey!”

  The insect Qi Practitioners swarmed out to the back of the insect planet, chasing after Zhong Yue and the others.

  Princess Jin Xiu snapped her fingers and Lang Qingyun turned back into the three-headed Pan Ao form again. She climbed up and rode on him as Lang Qingyun galloped like a horse.

  “How did they not leave any traces behind?" Princess Jin Xiu asked.

  Lang Qingyun quickly replied, “I know that Zhong Yue knows a way to refine insect Qi Practitioners. He refined an insect magnate before. They should be in the Yuan Shen secret realms of the insects they refined, which would explain why they were able to avoid detection.”

  Princess Chi Xie nodded softly and praised, “How sly and cunning you Ancestral Star Qi Practitioners are. Lang Qingyun, you are good, I like you.”

  Lang Qingyun lowered his heads and said while smiling, “One who knows how to evaluate his situation and pick the right side is the true talent. The more useful I am, the less inclined our great princess will be to kill me.”

  Satisfied chortles echoed out as the three-headed Pan Ao galloped away in the tunnels.

  Chapter 509: The Flowery Corpse God Chrysalises |

  Dozens of days passed as they travelled. Zhong Yue and company were nearing to the other side of the insect planet. The planet rotate on its axis, and so one side of the insect planet was always dark and cold. Thus, few insects were willing to stay there, and only those that were partial to such environments elected to live there.

  Zhong Yue and the others moved out from underground and glanced around. They saw mountains of ice filling across the land to the end of the horizon.

  Krong——

  Abruptly, the earth began to quake, and a deafening noise rumbled across the sky. Zhong Yue looked over from the ground and was stunned.

  In front of them was a huge creature with a giant stomach, residing within the ice mountains. It was undoubtedly an insect, but its head was nowhere to be seen and the lower part of its body was connected with a huge eight-petal flower.

  The flower was closed and bloomed continuously while the insect’s stomach slowly turned on its own. When the flower petals closed together, the stomach would move in another direction, and the petals abruptly bloomed while blasting out rays of lights into the darkness!

  The insect along with the flower was 10,000 feet tall but the light rays that burst out from the flower were millions of miles long. The reaction force was so strong that the earth would quake every time the flower bloomed and the insect planet would be pushed a slight distance away from where it was before.

  Even large chunks of ice were shaken from the ice mountains and sent crashing into the ground.

  Zhong Yue and the crowd were totally stunned.

  An insect with a flower-like lower body and was blasting rays of lights up in the sky and into the dark space.

  Further away from there were also similar light rays like this piercing through the firmament. There were more than hundreds of the light rays in their vision!

  The reaction force that came from the light rays was exactly what allowed the insect planet to move around in the endless universe!

  These huge insects that were blasting out the light rays were, in fact, what propelled insect planet from one star to the other!

  These insects were hybrids of insects and plants. Their heads were buried in the ground, devouring the energies of the earth while their bodies processed the pure energies and blast it out through the blooming of their flower lower bodies.

  Just a few hundred of these insects were able to move a planet around in the universe, just how strong were the light rays!?

  “Tian Mo Concubine, what are they?" Zhong Yue mumbled in question.

  Tian Mo Concubine was also puzzled, she shook her head and replied, “I’ve never heard of them before…”

  Zhong Yue turned to the insect magnate and asked, “What are these insects?”

  The Horn Toad insect magnate who Zhong Yue refined lowered his head and said, “They are the Flowery Corpse God Chrysalis, also a Golden King Race. They are low in number and can’t move around, just like the plants. Only the mother queen can give birth to these insects, but even when they were produced, it was incredibly hard to nurture them. They need to implant themselves into god corpses, and they need to be irrigated with jade liquid and divine blood to fully mature.”

  “Flowery Corpse God Chrysalis?”

  Gu Hongzi mumbled, “How creative of the demon race to create such a race of insect.”

  Tian Mo Concubine, Saint Concubine and the other demon ladies smiled proudly, Tian Mo Concubine said, “Of course, the demon race is on par with the celestial race and were rivals since the ancient days. Of course we are strong!”

  Fang Jiange said placidly from the side, “But what a shame, the demon race can’t even control the weapons they made. In fact, the demon race was at one point in time, nearly overthrown by the insect race.”

  However, these Flowery Corpse God Chrysalises were too huge, they were definitely hard to kill.

  Fang Jiange cast his divine sword up and slashed down heavily on one of the Flowery Corpse God Chrysalises closest to them. His divine sword was incredibly strong, and he wasn’t even afraid to fight face to face with the Imminent Deity magnates. Yet, with all of his strength in the strike, a few totem patterns that emerged from the surface of the Flowery Corpse God Chrysalis were able to fend it off completely.

  Fang Jiange recalled his sword and furrowed his brows.

  Gu Hongzi cast out his Yuan Shen as well and clawed over at the Flowery Corpse God Chrysalis. Once again, the totem patterns on the Flowery Corpse God Chrysalis’s surface endured the strike wholly, leaving it completely unharmed.

  Qiu Jin’er and the others all gave their best shot, but none of them was able to leave even a single impression on the Flowery Corpse God Chrysalis.

  “With me!" Zhong Yue said solemnly.

  The Divine Wing Saber flew out from his Yuan Shen secret realms and the crowd along with the insect magnates they refined cast their arcane energy into the half-saint weapon.

  It glimmered brightly, and in the blink of an eye, it slashed down at the Flowery Corpse God Chrysalis!

  Krong——

  The Flowery Corpse God Chrysalis was cut into half from the waist and the ice mountains around it were also cleaved cleanly into halves!

  The earth shook, and suddenly, as the halved Flowery Corpse God Chrysalis fell to the ground, the residual light rays carved a deep valley in the ground!

  Finally, as the Flowery Corpse God Chrysalis was completely drain of life force, the light rays also stopped.
