“Well then, Jin’er you can stay if you want to." Zhong Yue mulled and said, “But we have to keep in contact constantly with the totem pillars. After I return to the Ancestral Star, I will sharpen my knowledge on the teleportation array formation. When you are bored of this place and want to come back, I will come with the teleportation portal and take you home.”

Qiu Jin’er gave a sweet smile before she leaped away from the star and flew toward a moon around the Celestial Wood Star. Her voice could be heard saying, “Senior martial brother, during the period of time where I’m not around you, please remember to stay away from the flower bushes!”

“Flower bushes?" Zhong Yue was puzzled and he thought, Jin’er is afraid that I’ll be stuck with the pretty girls? Haha, she is worrying too much, I’m not that kind of person…

Tian Mo Concubine and the other demon ladies were overjoyed, they waved their hands at Qiu Jin’er while saying out loud, “Sister of the Qiu family, we are not flowers, we are pretty little bees! Even if you senior martial brother don’t come to us, we will fly to them too!”

Ji Xiang Concubine chortled and said, “We demon ladies aren’t like you humans, we speak what we think, we are never ashamed to voice our love toward our men!”

Saint Concubine was also waving at Qiu Jin’er, she said, “When you are back, your senior martial brother will be filled with bees around him!" She blushed coquettishly after she said.

Qiu Jin’er was piqued in anger, suddenly, she smiled brightly and waved her hands back at them, “No matter how many bees are there, I will take all of them away from my senior martial brother!”

Tian Mo Concubine and the other demon ladies looked at one another, one of them said, “This girl, what confidence. Does she really think that she can fight against all of us?”

Zhong Yue was speechless. He watched as Qiu Jin’er arrived safely at the moon of the Celestial Wood Star and his unsettled heart was eased.

The star they were traveling on flew at a faster rate, the gravitational field of the Celestial Wood Star pushed the speed of the little star to its maximum and abruptly, the star detached from the gravitational field and shot out toward the Celestial Fire Star.

With such an immense speed, it would only take a month for them to reach to the Celestial Fire Star, and from there, it would only take a few days to arrive back in the Ancestral Star!

“Ey? There is a moon palace on this Celestial Wood Star’s moon?" Qiu Jin’er landed on one of the moons, just as she was going to find a place to settle down, she noticed something odd in the surrounding.

Qiu Jin’er inhaled a deep breath of air and blew toward the front. The moondust was blown into the space and a grand palace was revealed in front of her.

“When was this palace built? And who is its owner?" The young lady’s interest was piqued as she walked toward the palace.

The palace door was tightly shut, there were rays moving on the surface of the door. It seemed like a kind of seal, a door seal that stopped any intruders from entering the palace.

The seal was incredibly ancient, and it had considerably weakened over time. Qiu Jin’er cast her Yuan Shen out and as soon as she tried to break the seal, it crumbled on its own and the door opened.

“Weird, why did the seal dispel on its own…" Qiu Jin’er was curious. As soon as the seal was broken away, a huge wave of life force gushed out from the palace, one that was incredibly similar to her own air.

“This is … the air of the Wood Innate Spirit!" Qiu Jin’er exclaimed.

She walked into the palace and the air brewed stronger within the hall. Clearly, this was the palace of an Innate Wood Spirit Body, one that had cultivated to deityhood and moved his abode to the Celestial Wood Star.

The palace had been sealed in anticipation for another Innate Wood Spirit Body holder to bring it into the light once again.

“Senior?" Qiu Jin’er asked, her voice echoed through the palace halls. There was no answer.

Qiu Jin’er looked around the palace. It was clean and tidy as though it were new; there was a tea hall, a cultivation hall, a treasure vault, and a garden. The divine herbs in the garden were nowhere to be seen but the divine soil remained. There was also a tea tree growing in the middle of the garden, emanating a faint and yet, refreshing fragrance.

Other than that, there were words left behind on the walls of the palace halls. Whoever the god was, he was a mad cultivator. After he left the Ancestral Star to the Celestial Wood Star, he spent over 2000 years just to study the secrets of the Innate Wood Yuan Shen.

“This senior, he is one of those who are listed in the Lesser Void World’s Legendary Board!”

Qiu Jin’er was stunned, this Wood Innate Spirit Body been listed in the Legendary Void World when he was still a Qi Practitioner. after ascending into the deityhood, he started studying the ultimate abstrusities of the Wood Innate Spirit. He moved to the side of the Celestial Wood Star and recorded every finding he on the palace walls.

Not only that, Qiu Jin’er also found the god’s discoveries and insights pertaining to medicinal pellets in the medicinal hall, the god’s attainments in the cultivation techniques in the cultivation hall, his understanding in forging weapons in the treasure vault, and also the god’s past time of enjoying tea in the tea hall.

“What a strange man, but why isn’t his name anywhere to be found in the Ancestral Star’s records?" Qiu Jin’er was puzzled.

“Nevertheless, this is the perfect place for me to cultivate. Senior martial brother’s progress is way too fast, not only am I unable to catch up to him, but the gap between us is getting even bigger now. If this continues, I will not be able to walk alongside him anymore, till one day, our paths will inevitably diverge.”

Qiu Jin’er calmed her mind and she prepared some tea for herself. She watched the steam wafting out of the teapot as she mumbled, “Just like Ting Lanyue and the other ladies, they were close to senior martial brother once, but as their cultivation progress lost pace with his, their relationship naturally become more distant. Even if they are to bump into senior martial brother, there wouldn’t be much they can talk about anymore. If I want to stay with him, I have to cultivate as hard so I can stay by his side.”

  …

A month’s time passed in a flash, the star Zhong Yue and the others were on flew into the Celestial Fire Star’s gravitational field and into orbit around it.

The Celestial Fire Star was smaller than the Ancestral Star — it orbited around the Celestial Fire Star and disrupted the balance of its gravitational field. This caused the Celestial Fire Star to move around like a drunkard, probably only when the star leaves would the Celestial Fire Star’s gravitational field return to its usual balance.

If the Fire Innate Spirit Body is here, he would be able to cultivate at an incredible speed. What a shame Lei Hong died from Feng Wuji’s nefarious plans, what a shame…

Zhong Yue sighed, he looked at the fire-red star and suddenly, a hand suffused with the air of darkness rose within the blazing fire ball while reaching for the star they were at!

  “What is this!?”

The experts were shocked as they watched the demonic hand moved closer to them.

Sounds of explosions came from the demonic hand as it moved deeper into the space, closer to the experts. Totem patterns formed around it and weaved together. As the hand opened, its palm was at least a thousand miles long from one end to the other and the star the experts were at was in its grasp!

“Brat! I finally caught you!" A voice of anger came from the Celestial Fire Star, “How dare you scheme against me, how dare you!”

A demon god rose high underneath in the Celestial Fire Star, it was a thousand miles tall and stood astride on a piece of fire desert and a rocky canyon. The demon god’s head was nearly piercing out into the space!

The demon god’s three heads had expressions between laughter and tears. Zhong Yue was just maneuvering the course of the star and when he saw the faces, he exclaimed, “Shi Tuo!
?”

“Yes, it’s me!" The demon god roared, his fingertips barely scratched on the star, wounding the Flowery Corpse God Chrysalis’s flower petals.

The Flowery Corpse God Chrysalis lost control and spurted out light rays in random directions. Immediately, the star was tossed off balance and moved randomly in the space.

Without any hesitation, Zhong Yue cast the Divine Wing Saber and slashed down on the Flowery Corpse God Chrysalis. Only then did the star regained its balance.

Fang Jiange and Gu Hongzi heaved a breath of relief, if Zhong Yue hesitated and acted any slower, the Flowery Corpse God Chrysalis would push the star into the Celestial Fire Star and they would’ve all ended up dying in there!

However, with the Flowery Corpse God Chrysalis taken away, the star lost its drive, it was impossible to run away from the demon god Shi Tuo anymore!

With the strength of this demon god’s spirit, there was no doubt he could kill them all in just one strike!

Suddenly, Zhong Yue opened his mouth and projected his voice out with his psyche, “Senior Martial Brother Feng, congratulations on taming the demon god Shi Tuo! However, can you ask him to keep quiet?”

“Not an issue. Shi Tuo, my junior martial brother spoke his will, you will then keep quiet.”

A placid voice reverberated the sky. Shi Tuo, who was chasing the star, instantly stopped, his eyes burned with fire as he stared intently at Zhong Yue. Shi Tuo raged as he shouted, “If not for you, how would I have ended up in this position!? I swear, I will make you pay for this!”

Zhong Yue heaved a breath of relief, rays flashed across his eyes and he mumbled, “I’m correct then, it’s Senior Martial Brother Feng Xiaozhong down there. But if he is here in the Celestial Fire Star, then, that means…”

His eyes thumped and he finished the sentence, “... his Yuan Shen is already in the Pure Yang state!”

“Feng Xiaozhong ascended into the deityhood? He is a god now?" The experts were in shock. They all looked down and saw a white-robed man in his prime age standing beside Shi Tuo’s huge body. He was so small in their visions that they didn’t even notice his existence before this.

The man manned himself like a gentle scholar, his eyes were clear like the crystals and his aura deep like the abyss, it was as if he couldn’t be perceived by the senses of the experts if he didn’t want to.

“Feng Xiaozhong, he is really a god now!" The experts’ faces turned solemn.

Although Feng Xiaozhong was a human, he knew no evil nor virtues, he only the world as either one of two things: living beings that can be used as research materials, and living beings that weren’t worth wasting time on. The only thing he ever cared about was exploration of discovery to understand the fundamental nature of the universe and the principles of life and death.

Back in the days when the old headmaster was still alive, Feng Xiaozhong already caused a huge disturbance across the whole Ancestral Star. However, as the old headmaster was now gone and he himself was a god now, no one would be able to stop him anymore!

“I’ll send you all back to the Ancestral Star first." Zhong Yue stiffened up his face and he said solemnly, “When you reach the Ancestral Star, stay on the moon first and wait for me to come back. But I don’t think I can return so soon. Also, whatever you do, do not go near the moon palace.”

“Junior Martial Brother Zhong, can you send me to the Celestial Gold Star?" Suddenly, Fang Jiange asked.

Chapter 525: Imperial Road of The Heavenly Monarch |

Zhong Yue hesitated, he calculated the orbital route and velocity of the Celestial Gold Star in his heart and said, “That is possible. I can change the course of the star we are on now and made it slide through the sides of the moon. With the gravitational field of the moon, it will head toward the Celestial Gold Star. However, Senior Martial Brother Fang, when you arrive at the Celestial Gold Star, there might not be any sufficient breathing air there.”

Fang Jiange smiled in reply, “Maybe there’s air on the Celestial Gold Star as well? Furthermore, I’m proficient in the art of breathing, I can last for ten to twenty years without air, I won’t die so soon yet.”

Zhong Yue thought of Fang Jiange’s mount — the mystical turtle called Fu Shan. Fang Jiange must have learned his breathing arts from the turtle Fu Shan.

Junior Martial Sister Qiu can self-sustain the breathing air needed in the universe and Senior Martial Brother Fang also his own ways to survive as well. The innate spirit bodies are strong indeed.

Zhong Yue praised in his heart, he adjusted the star’s course and crafted a totem pillar for Fang Jiange. He said, “Whenever Senior Martial Brother Fang feels like coming back, tell me and I will come to bring you home.”

He leaped down from the star and waved his hand, he said, “Senior Martial Brother Gu Hongzi, when the star arrives close enough to the moon, the gravitational force of the moon will slow down the star’s speed before it lunges out toward the Celestial God Star again. This leaves a small window for you all to fly to the moon, do not miss the chance or you will to wait another 76 years before it can open again!”

“Seventy six years?" Gu Hongzi, Zuo Xiangsheng and the other experts tensed their hearts. The star flew out at a great speed and left behind a streaming tail behind it. Although the Flowery Corpse God Chrysalis was no longer pushing the star, the star been influenced by the gravitational field of the Celestial Wood Star and Celestial Fire Star, it could still fly toward the moon, to the Celestial Gold Star and Celestial Water Star.

After a few days, the star reached to the moon. Gu Hongzi immediately led Zuo Xiangsheng and the other experts to fly toward the moon while Fang Jiange stood on the star steadfast as it continuing to fly toward the Celestial Gold Star.

After some time, the star arrived at the Celestial Gold Star and Fang Jiange leaped down from the star when it slid past the side of the Celestial Gold Star. The star then continued flying toward the Celestial Water Star.

Some days later, the star flew past the Celestial Water Star and was caught by the gravitational force of the sun. It flew to the back of the sun and was later swung out into the endless space again.

This star would wander in the solar system, flying past the stars and planets and drifting through the darkness. Seventy-six years later, it would return to the Ancestral Star.

Zhong Yue continued making adjustments to its course so that it would continue to repeat this circuit around the solar system far into the future.

A few thousand years later, a half-demon who went by the name of Halley noticed the repetitive occurrence of the star’s appearances every 76 years. He named the star after himself and henceforth, the humans on the Ancestral Star since recognized its existence.

Now, on the Celestial Fire Star, Shi Tuo raised his hand out into space and Zhong Yue landed on his palm.

Shi Tuo gritted his teeth, trying his best not to crush the tiny human in his hand. He abruptly pulled his hand back and brought Zhong Yue into the Celestial Fire Star before the Pure Yang lightnings struck on the abominable human.

The speed of his hand was so quick that his skin was ignited in flames by the immense friction force. Before the Pure Yang lightning zone was ready and the lightning caught up to his speed, his hand already reached the ground.

With a thought, the demonic fire around his hand distinguished and Shi Tuo opened up his palm. Zhong Yue was seen standing steadfast on the palm, his heart beating at its normal rate, his face showed no signs of fear or terror. He appeared as a dauntless young man unmoved by all.

“Brat, I don’t like you but you do have some courage in you." Shi Tuo, an honorable demon god himself, wouldn’t deny his emotions and as he placed Zhong Yue down to the solid ground.

Zhong Yue walked down the huge palm and abruptly, his heart throbbed for a split second.

It would be a lie for him to say that he wasn’t afraid at all. Being held in Shi Tuo’s hand, standing in a position where his life was solely dependent on the demon god’s emotion. If S
hi Tuo decided to fight against Feng Xiaozhong’s will, he wouldn’t even need to crush Zhong Yue on his own; just slowing his speed down for a few seconds in the Pure Yang lightning zone would result in the Pure Yang lightning ending Zhong Yue’s life many times over.

However, even when he was standing in front of death’s doorstep, he didn’t want to show his fear in front of Shi Tuo. Even though he was afraid, he would still act like he wasn’t so that Shi Tuo wouldn’t know.

However, Feng Xiaozhong did picked up the sudden throbbing in Zhong Yue’s heartbeat, he laughed and said, “Junior Martial Brother Zhong, you said that the Celestial Fire Star had a teleportation portal that can bring me to the Zi Wei Divine Star, so here I am.”

“Xing Tian greets Uncle Zhong." A cute child walked out behind Feng Xiaozhong and greeted Zhong Yue.

“Please, spare the formality." Zhong Yue looked at the cute child. The Heavenly Saint Demon Embryo grew taller than before, but it seemed like he still hasn’t awoken the memory of the innate demon god yet.

He was the manifestation of Creator Bo Xun’s shattered spirit. A great talent in nature, he was now already an Inner Core Qi Practitioner. The name Xing Tian was even given to him by Zhong Yue, which translated to a punished innate demon god.

Xing Tian followed Feng Xiaozhong from day one and the human god treated him very well. This was also part of the reason why the little child could cultivate at such a great speed.

Zhong Yue frowned, he asked, “Senior Martial Brother Feng, you are a god now and are ready to leave the Ancestral Star? Have you finished researching on Shi Tuo?”

Shi Tuo mood seemed to take an angry turn as he shot a nefarious glare at Zhong Yue and questioned, “Brat, what do you mean finished researching me? He only barely dissected me a few times! Do you think I can be finished studying so easily? Without tens or even hundreds of years, it is impossible to finish exploring my secrets!”
