A silhouette walked toward the tomb silently, he lit up the incense sticks and placed them into the censer. Then, he knelt down respectfully and kowtowed three times.

“Old man, your son is already a god now," Zhong Yue laughed softly, he said, “He is really more talented than you, but he is still the same as before. He named his son Wuji, I guess he is hoping that his son can be like him, to be free of burdens and limits.”

  TN: (Wuji means no taboos.)

“However, you are still the invincible father in his heart, I can tell that. In the hearts of the children, their father will always the strongest figure in the world.”

“He has begun to walk a path that he has chosen for himself, he asked me to come and visit you for him to give you his kowtows. He said that he couldn’t come because in his heart, another day he doesn’t see your tomb would be another day that he gets to believe that you’re still alive.…”

  …

Unbeknownst to Zhong Yue, a lady had been standing beside the tomb. She watched quietly as he conversed to the late headmaster, waiting patiently like a girl in love rather than the headstrong headmaster she usually was.

After a long time, Zhong Yue stood up and walked toward her. Jun Sixie quickly cleared the ambiguous expression on her face before returning to the imposing manner of a headmaster. She smiled and said, “Junior martial brother, it’s good to see you come back alive.”

Zhong Yue walked alongside her, he replied with a smile, he said, “Senior martial sister, aren’t you curious of what happened?”

Jun Sixie already knew about the incidents and experiences they had gone through from Zuo Xiangsheng’s and Tian Yanzhong’s accounts. But for some reason, she still chose to ask, “Of course I do. Tell me what happened there in the insect planet. I was so worried. This is the first time the gods had taken such a huge loss, only two of them managed to return to the Ancestral Star.”

Then, Zhong Yue recounted his experiences on the insect planet to her. Zuo Xiangsheng and Tian Yanzhong’s recollection of events were undoubtedly not as vivid as Zhong Yue’s. While listening to his story, Jun Sixie’s face and heart underwent a rollercoaster of changes and emotions, she even sometimes found herself clenching tightly onto Zhong Yue’s palms.

Whatever happened there was not something that could be told within a short amount of time. As Zhong Yue was telling her some of the dangerous experiences, Jun Sixie felt that she was vicariously experiencing them herself through his words. At this moment, she was just an ordinary girl who was enraptured in the adventures of the young man beside her; she didn’t look like a headmaster at all.

Shui Zian climbed the hill in search of the two of them. Froma far, he saw them sitting shoulder to shoulder on the grass, seemingly lost in their own world. The grand elder was startled for a second, but he smiled and left quietly.

I almost forgot about it, it’s about time for Headmaster Jun to find a shoulder to rely on. Those who are fit to be together with our Swords Gate headmaster are few, thankfully, we have just one in our Swords Gate.

Shui Zian thought in his heart, Then I might as well let her be. Hmm, what a coincidence, little Qiu is not here and headmaster came close to that brat at this point in time, is this counted as taking advantage of little Qiu’s absence … Oh, I have forgotten about what I need to do!

He was here to ask how should they arrange the insect magnates Zhong Yue and the others have brought back. There were over twenty of them all together and they were all temporarily held in the inner hall.

At first, these insect magnates were feared by many Swords Gate disciples but as time passed, they were proven to be no threat. The Swords Gate disciples then often took the initiative to look at them.

he Heavenly Dharma insect experts brought back by Zuo Xiangsheng and TIan Yanzhong had also attracted many Qi Practitioners.

These insect experts would greatly boost Swords Gate’s strength, providing them the capital to protect the Great Wilderness. However, the proper arrangements of the insect magnates would have to decided by the headmaster after the necessary discussions.

Moreover, Zhong Yue and the others managed to survive the insect planet, even bringing back so many insect experts. The other races will surely know about this. I’m afraid trouble is just around the corner, Shui Zizan frowned, he pondered and thought, Even only two gods managed to survive, and yet, Zhong Yue and the others returned nearly unschated. This will give rise to suspections and wild claims … Sigh, another calamity will come if we don’t handle this well. I wonder if the gods will come out and interfere…

Zhong Yue and Jun Sixie conversed for a very long time before a wave of fatigue washed over the both of them. Jun Sixie then stood up and she raised her hand to pull Zhong Yue up from the ground. She then invited him to continue their talk in her cave dwelling.

She didn’t elect to go to the golden summit, but rather, she invited him to her cave dwelling, a place where she was most comfortable with, her own little paradise where she could be her own true self.

After a few days, Zhong Yue has finally finished telling her of the expedition in the insect planet. Jun Sixie asked a few more questions and it took some time longer for them to end the conversation.

Weird, why is Senior Martial Sister Jun appears to be much closer to me now than before? Zhong Yue was curious, he couldn’t understand why. Before this, the relationship between Jun Sixie and himself was only on the level of friends. The closest they had even been were the days he saved Jun Sixie from the monster race.

But ever since becoming headmaster, their distance in their relationship continued to grow like the sky and earth. Although they still maintained a fairly cordial relationship, she was after all the headmaster.

But after these few days of conversation, they had suddenly grown closer. It was truly a bizarre phenomenon to Zhong Yue.

Little did he know that for a man to chase a girl, it would be like hiking a mountain while for a girl to chase a man, it would be like walking through a layer of silk curtain. It was far easier for the women to pull the relationship closer to the men than the other way around.

“Junior martial brother, can you send me to the Celestial Water Star?" Jun Sixie asked when she heard that Fang Jiange was sent to the Celestial Gold Star and Qiu Jin’er stayed in the Celestial Wood Star’s moon.

“Send you to the Celestial Water Star?" Zhong Yue was shocked and exclaimed, but was immediately dawned right after.

Jun Sixie had been acting as headmaster ever since the death of the old man, although she cultivated even harder than before, there were just too many things matters around Swords Gate that needed her attention. At the end of the day, her cultivation progress inevitably stalled as her responsibilities mounted. Fang Jiange was a cultivation mad man who only c cared about his path of the sword and nothing else; Qiu Jin’er followed Zhong Yue around to many places exotic locations in their adventures, overcoming many challenges together with him. Like this, it was a matter of course that her cultivation would rise quickly as well.

Qiu Jin’er and Fang Jiange were both at their best place to cultivate, and Jun Sixie didn’t want to be flung too far behind by them. Thus, she thought of cultivating at the Celestial Water Star as well.

“Not that I can’t do that…" Zhong Yue hesitated for a second and said, “I have been studying the teleportation array formation recently and my command of it is better than when I was on the insect planet. This teleportation portal wouldn’t be as unreliable as before. But, are you sure you want to do this? Do you really dare to use my teleportation portal?”

  “Why not?" Jun Sixie smiled.

Zhong Yue was stunned for a second, he suddenly laughed and said, “Alright, if you are daring enough to do so, then I will create a teleportation array formation now. Let me send you to the Celestial Water Star!”

Jun Sixie was overjoyed and it was this moment, a series of dry coughs came from outside the door. Shui Zian cleared his throat and intentionally made it louder t
han usual, he then said, “Headmaster, the elder council has been waiting for you for days. We intend to discuss about the arrangements of the insect magnates and the divine weapons Elder Zhong brought back with him…”

“Elder Zhong?" Zhong Yue mumbled puzzlingly.

Jun Sixie smiled and said, “You are already a Heavenly Dharma expert and your prowess is stronger than most of the magnates. The elder council has decided to elevate your position to that of an elder already, but they weren’t able to notify you in time. Also…”

Her face blushed red and she suddenly whispered softly, “... I will go our first, then you will leave when no one else is around. Otherwise … otherwise, people might get the wrong idea….”.

After she finished saying, she didn’t even dare to turn back and look at Zhong Yue anymore. She quickly hastened her pace and left on her own.

Zhong Yue was stunned, he shook his head and mumbled laughingly, “We didn’t do anything, what misunderstanding would there be?”

Jun Sixie walked out of her cave dwelling, she saw Shui Zian holding a weird expression while standing in front of the door. Jun Sixie’s heart throbbed faster for a split second, she quickly calmed herself and said, “Grand Elder, let’s go.”

But the old man didn’t answer, he was moving his head around, trying to look into the headmaster’s cave dwelling but to no avail. Then, he turned and followed behind her while saying with a lecherous smile, “Headmaster, you hide goodies in your home.”

“What goodies in my home?" Jun Sixie burst out with shame masked in extreme anger.

“Well, it’s good to keep the goodies within the family." Shui Zian continued saying.

Jun Sixie shot a deadly glare at him, but the old man could tell the lack of confidence in her as she said, “I’m not goodies!”

“I didn’t say you were. Elder Zhong is inside, isn’t?" Shui Zian smirked and said, “Don’t pretend he’s not, I saw it all, with my own eyes.”

Jun Sixie grew even more agrieved while Shui Zian laughed and said, “Elder Zhong is the goodies I’m referring to. Rather than giving him out to the other races, why don’t headmaster claim him first. Hmm, I’d totally agree with it, in fact, I think this is the best I can think of…”

Jun Sixie’s heart pounded anxiously, she shook her head and walked away faster while she answered, “Grand Elder, you sure like to talk about useless things.”

  …

After the discussion with the elders, the whole Swords Gate was bustling. The insect magnates Zhong Yue brought back were sent to the borders of the Great Wilderness. There were sixteen more cities that were built in the Great Wilderness, and each of them were now guarded by an insect magante.

In addition, every border keep and city were given a divine weapon each, dedicated to be used to protect the keeps and cities and to stop external threats.

Other than that, Swords Gate started a round of selection for the best candidates to act as city lords and keep lords.

These city lords and keep lords would lead the residences inside of the cities and or keeps to worship the clan spirits and divine weapons. Whenever the sky darkens down, the sixteen cities and eight keeps would shine bright in rays. It would truly be marvelous.

Meanwhile, Zhong Yue was busy studying the【Time Light Spatial Crystal Mystic Scripture】, comprehending the totem patterns and abstrusities in it so that the same mistake like the one before wouldn’t happen anymore.

By the time Jun Sixie and the Swords Gate higher-ups finished settling all their matters, Zhong Yue had also finished completing the teleportation array formation.

This teleportation array formation was weaker than the one on the insect planet. This teleportation array formation could only teleport one to the moon and if the destination were any further, the accuracy would deteriorate. Zhong Yue was also afraid that he would send Jun Sixie into the moon itself or some other bizarre place.

After she arrived on the moon, Jun Sixie would be able to fly to the Celestial Water Star on her own. Although that would take a little more time, it would be safer this way.

“Headmaster, you need to prepare more air, and also, the Celestial Water Star has no water, it is a planet of lava instead." Zhong Yue prompted Jun Sixie.

Jun Sixie smiled and said, “I’m proficient in the art of water. I have skills that can break down water so that I can extract air out of it. There is no need for you to worry about this.”

Zhong Yue was stunned, he sighed and thought, The innate spirit bodies really have their own marvelous uses.

Before she left, Jun Sixie handed Swords Gate to Shui Zian and Zhong Yue, and disappeared within the array formation.

Shui Zian watched as the teleportation array formation was deactivated. He praised with a smile, “The Great Wilderness is finally rising. Elder Zhong, this round of selection has really dug out a lot of talents.”

Zhong Yue was piqued in interest, he asked, “What sort of talents?”

“There is a young man from the Hou Gang Clan who goes by the name of Jie, he is really talented and has two pairs of eyes. The Feng Clan also has one man called Feng Hou. Then there is another one man called Ju Song, he has a wide knowledge." Shui Zian introduced some of the talents, he said, “There is also Feng Ju from the South Barren and Qi Bo from the West Barren. A young boy called Li Mu who possess great strength and other than them, there is also Chang Xian and Wang Hai.”

“Feng Hou, another one from the Feng Clan?" Zhong Yue was shocked, he exclaimed, “It is truly a blessing that the Feng Clan still exists. But what is about this one from the Hou Gang Clan? Four eyes, it’s really rare.”

Shui Zian nodded and said, “We have checked, Hougang Jie is an authentic human, he just has a relatively bizarre appearance.”

Could he have awakened some of the Leize blood? Zhong Yue thought curiously in his heart.

Shui Zian laughed, “They are all talents, their foundations are solid and they have cultivated to the Inner Core level already. Other than the Awakening level, they have reached the extreme states in the other levels. These talents are not inferior tp Zuo Xiangsheng and Tian Yanzhong. Other than them, there is also another one called Rong Cheng, he is already on his way to the Kong Tong Keep.”

Zhong Yue said curiously, “Where are they? I want to have a look at them.”

“They are just in Swords Gate, waiting to move to their respective cities.”

Then, Shui Zian surged out his psyche and notified the talents to come over, while he said in a smile to Zhong Yue, “Headmaster Jun asked me to guide them in their cultivation path. But I can only manage to guide the ordinary disciples, the talented ones are a little too challenging for me. You are an elder now and are also acting as one of de facto temporarily headmasters, you don’t have to go to them. I will ask them to come over.”

Zhong Yue nodded. Soon after, eight young men arrived at the golden summit. They were all waiting outside of the palace and were puzzled as to why Shui Zian summoned them,

Zhong Yue and Shui Zian walked into the palace, they looked at the eight talents.

Feng Hou had inherited the gentle spirituality of the Feng Clan, he stood straight like a sharp sword and eyes glimmered with rays of intelligence. Zhong Yue looked at him and inwardly praised, This Feng Hou’s Fuxi blood isn’t that strong but is already not far away from Feng Wuji. The Feng Clan is indeed a strong clan.

Then, he looked at Hougang Jie and was shocked. He was just as Shui Zian described, he had a huge face, a bulging mass of meat on his forehead and another pair of eyes above the usual ones. It was truly bizarre.

Ju Song was like a scholar, no different to an ordinary human but he held his own scholarly air as well.

Feng Ju and Qi Bo were slightly older than the others, they were two middle-aged men. They would be those talents who needed time to grow strong to show their brilliance, which was why their values were only noticed now.

While Chang Xian, Wang Hai and Li
Mu were three strong and muscular warriors. Among the three, Li Mu was the most conspicuous. He wore made from the beast hides and had metal chains curled around his beast-like mortal body.

Zhong Yue glanced at the talents and was overjoyed. The Great Wilderness human race had finally shown signs of rising. Another few more years and the insect magnates and divine weapons they brought back would become redundant. By that time, these talents would be strong enough to guard Swords Gate with their own abilities.

“Feng Hou (Hougang Jie) (Ju Song) (Feng Ju) (Qi Bo) (Chang Xian) (Wang Hai) (Li Mu) greets Teacher Rain!”

The eight of them saw Shui Zian and quickly greeted him. Zhong Yue asked puzzlingly, “Teacher Rain?”

Shui Zian smiled and answered, “I’m from the Shui Tu Clan, I teach them the arts and skills of water. Thus, they call me Teacher Rain.”

  “I see.”

“Be at ease, this is Elder Zhong from the Zhong Shan Clan." Shui Zian raised his hand, he said, “Elder Zhong is the youngest elder of Swords Gate. All of the cultivation techniques that you were provided was in essence due to Elder Zhong’s efforts. The divine weapons and the divine herbs were also earned by him.”

The eight of them quickly bowed and greeted Zhong Yue again. They raised their heads and looked at Zhong Yue with shock, they thought, So young, he looks even younger than us!

In the hearts of Swords Gate disciples, Zhong Yue was like a legend in Swords Gate. There were many rumors about him, some said looked rectangular, some said he had three heads and six arms, and some even said that he would devour three hundred celestial experts and two hundred demon experts for one meal, three times a day.

But when the eight talents saw Zhong Yue in person, they were all puzzled. The Zhong Shan Clan member appeared no different to ordinary humans.

Zhong Yue shook his head and said, “I’m not the youngest elder, Elder Qiu is. She is just 21 and I’m already 25.”

Shui Zian said, “Well, you are the youngest of all the male elders. Elder Zhong, come, you will teach and guide them in their cultivation path, they will be your students, is that fine by you?”
