  Shi Buyi roared and pressed forward, but even when his Eight Extreme Malefic Weapons tore Wei Xue God into pieces, the God of Blood would still rise within the blood ocean without any injuries.

  In the next second, Wei Xue God appeared to be underneath him, pulling him down into the blood ocean.

  Shi Buyi was spurting out blood incessantly, he heavily stamped his feet and bolted up form the blood ocean. He shouted, “How long do you still want to take?”

  Zhong Yue suddenly burst out with laughter, he took out the copper lamp and opened the lamp lid, “I have figured out the way to kill Wei Xue God already. Fine, since you requested, I will help you in taking him down!”

  “Make me surrender?”

  Wei Xue God’s laughter came from all directions as the blood ocean continued surging, overwhelming the skies and crashing toward Zhong Yue. Meanwhile, Zhong Yue and Shi Buyi were separated; Zhong Yue was isolated at the bottom of the ocean while Shi Buyi was on top, preventing them from teaming up.

  And a strange thing suddenly occurred; another Wei Xue God appeared in front of Zhong Yue. He was standing on the blood ocean upside down like a bat while another Wei Xue God stood above the blood ocean, fighting with Shi Buyi!

  “Zhong Yue, you are just a puny human! A little True Spirit level Qi Practitioner, how dare you ask a god to surrender? You are a joke!”

  The two Wei Xue Gods looked exactly the same and they attacked at the same time, both with different moves and techniques.

  Although Wei Xue God’s attacks were weak, they were unpredictable. He was able to void shift through space to attack both Zhong Yue and Shi Buyi at the same time, perfectly displayed the power of a god of the Gui Shen Celestial Race!

  Zhong Yue could tell that this god that was charging toward him was not the real one, but surprisingly, it still possessed extraordinary power.

  Obviously, Wei Xue God had cultivated a very special technique that not only made him almost impossible to kill but also enabled him to create an illusion of himself.

  The techniques of the Gui Shen Celestial Race are indeed very unique.

  After Zhong Yue slightly tested Wei Xue God’s strength, he waved the weathered copper lamp and a terrifying gravitational force emerged and started sucking the blood ocean into the lamp.

  Immediately, Wei Xue God’s expression changed. He quickly plunged towards Zhong Yue who started moving around with his lamp instead of fighting back.

  As Zhong Yue moved around, the blood ocean continued to flow into the lamp with no sign of slowing down; no matter how much blood rained down, the lamp seemed to possess an inexhaustible capacity. Soon enough, the blood ocean at disappeared!

  In his panic, Wei Xue God attacked Zhong Yue with all he had and the Wei Xue God that was fighting Shi Buyi also turned back and dashed towards Zhong Yue.

  Zhong Yue laughed and dodged them while he continued sucking the blood ocean dry with the lamp, turning the blood ocean into a blood lake and then a pool.

  With the volume of the blood ocean decreased, the two Wei Xue Gods no longer had enough space to stand, and they had to squeeze together on the remaining blood ocean.

  What was strange was that as the amount of the blood in the blood ocean decreased, their strength also decreased.

  And the blood on their body also got thinner, their body turned transparent as if the blood on their body flowed back into the blood ocean.

  Zhong Yue continued sucking the blood ocean dry with the lamp and after a few moments, the blood ocean disappeared along with the two Wei Xue Gods; they evaporated into smoke before getting sucked into the lamp.

  Meanwhile, the startled Shi Buyi who later on got back to Zhong Yue asked, “Where did Wei Xue God go? How did you kill him?”

  “I didn’t kill him, the real Wei Xue God was the blood ocean.”

  Zhong Yue shook the lantern on his hand, kept it back into his Yuan Shen Secret Realm and said, “This blood ocean is also his divine weapon, but he forged his body into the divine weapon, merging it with the blood ocean. Thus, the blood ocean is him, and the divine weapon is also him. This is probably a technique of the Gui Shen Celestial Race. A Wei Xue God will emerge from the blood ocean if he wants to, killing that Wei Xue God will not work. As long as the blood ocean is still there, he will remain alive, and he would even be able to create another Wei Xue God.”

  Upon hearing Zhong Yue’s reply, Shi Buyi murmured, “No wonder he emerged from the blood ocean again after Feng Wuji crushed him. And here I thought he had cultivated some kind of immortal technique…..”

  Shi Buyi took over the leaves, quickly consuming them and started treated his injuries. As he treated himself, he couldn’t help but feel grateful towards Zhong Yue for not only saving him from Wei Xue God, but also giving him medicines to heal.

  However, Shi Buyi suddenly realized something and thought, No! How can I feel grateful? This damn son of a bitch controlled my life with the puny insect, made me his mount and forced me to provoke Wei Xue God while he stood aside! Nothing he does will be able to redeem that! I will not be bought over that easily!”

  Meanwhile, Zhong Yue asked with concern, “How much did you gain from this
battle? Can you achieve the Pure Yang Yuan Shen in one shot? If not, I can risk my life again and accompany you to challenge other gods to help you improve!”

  Once again, gratitude involuntarily rose within Shi Buyi’s heart, but he quickly reminded himself to not let his guard down.

  I am not used to this, him being so nice to me all in a sudden…. Thought Shi Buyi as he still felt unhappy. But without realizing this himself, his impression of Zhong Yue had slightly changed.

  “In the West Barren, there should be one more god other than Zhu Jiumu. The problem is that I don’t know where is he hiding.”

  Zhong Yue thought for a moment and said, “And another god ran into the Kun Lun Realm. Other than them, there is a demon god in the demon land and two insect gods. They however, are all hiding. Wei Xue God was still manageable but these other gods out there are perhaps not people to be messed with. The hardest ones to be dealt with are probably the likes of Lord Kun, Lord Demon…”

  As soon as he thought of this, he sense something. He looked towards somewhere far away, he bowed and greeted, “How have you been, Senior Jiumu? Thank you for your help in helping me to guard Swords Gate during my absence.”

  The old and wizened Zhu Jiumu from the Zhu Jian Celestial Race walked towards Zhong Yue with a complicated expression, “I am fine, little Zhong Yue. I was just repaying your debt by guarding Swords Gate, but I never thought you could come back alive. Besides, the demon god was injured badly so there was actually no need for me.”

  Upon saying this, his expression turned even more complicated and said, “Little Zhong Yue, too many have died because of you. Wei Xue God did indeed sentence you to death when he forced you to go to the insect race, but you didn’t die in the end, did you? Is there a need for all of this? Wouldn’t it be wiser to let bygones be bygones?”

  Zhong Yue smiled and replied, “Senior Jiumu, when you advised them to not to force me into a corner like that as well, did they listen to you?”
