“Also, there is a lady, Zhen Yao. She was said to be an undying existence whose soul has been tumbling in the Six Paths Reincarnations for over 50 thousand years.”

“Then, there is also a consort to the Realm Monarch who was banished to the Prison Realm. Hehe, this alluring Consort Han belongs to the Realm Monarch, no one dares to touch her. Furthermore, no one knows if this was a chance that the Realm Monarch created to free her from the Prison Realm.”

The more Shi Buyi learned, the more shocked he became. A few moments later, he gave a cold sneer and criticized, “Seven out of the ten slots are taken up, doesn’t that mean our disciples are all just fighting for only three slots?”

“It’s already good enough to have three slots. We are weak and can do nothing other than accept it.” The old god replied, “I heard that some of the other galaxies have their ten slots decided even before the competition. Making the competition to be nothing but just an exhibition event! Furthermore, the candidates of the seven slots are all powerful themselves.”

Shi Buyi’s face grew anxious and he thought, “Oh no, Master Zhong is surely in the top ten, but Jun Sixie, Bai Canghai and the others are not that strong. If he wants to let them all enter the top ten, he will surely have to clash with the seven experts!”

On the bluish planet, Jun Sixie, Qiu Jin’er and Bai Canghai hovered in mid-air while glancing at the surrounding.

Three suns hung high in the sky, scorching the land. But the heat was in a bearable range that there were still plants growing in the planet.

However, it was still a barren place with no signs of any civilization.

“The spiritual energy in here is so dense!” Qiu Jin’er tried to draw upon the power of heaven and earth, and immediately, she could feel her power growing exponentially. She exclaimed, “Why did the demon gods say the spiritual energy in the Prison Realm is faint? Isn’t the spiritual energy here much stronger than the Ancestral Star?”

She had the Innate Wood Spirit Body, and her sensitivity to spiritual energy was far greater than others’. The more abundant the spiritual energy around her, the stronger she would get.

Whereas Jun Sixie and Bai Canghai also felt the thick spiritual energy around them, they also had the same questions in their mind like Qiu Jin’er.

Zhong Yue mulled and said, “The Ancestral Star is also known as the waste star, it seems like not only that, but its Six Paths Reincarnations is also incomplete. The spiritual energy is also weaker, in turn causing our skills to be impaired. But in here, our skills will be able to be fully unleashed, and when we arrive at the Zi Wei Galaxy, they will grow even stronger!”

“Then, the Qi Practitioners of the Ancestral Star and Prison realm, who will be stronger?” Bai Canghai thought and asked, “The Prison Realm has a complete cultivation heritage, the various ways to open the extreme states, the complete Six Paths Reincarnations, and they can even undergo rebirth whenever they like. These are all conditions the Ancestral Star Qi Practitioners never had. The disparity is huge, it is very unlikely we will be able to win.”

Rays flashed across Zhong Yue’s eyes as he raised a different opinion, “It takes hardship to forge a strength. Although the conditions on the Ancestral Star is much harder, it served to temper us. Furthermore, if we could cultivate to this stage in spite of such harsh conditions, then it is already solid evidence that we are stronger than them! Jin’er, Senior Martial Brother Bai, don’t hold back when battling with your opponents! Your training starts here and now!”

There were already battles going all around the planet. The Qi Practitioners that could enter the competition were all elite cultivators with incredible strength. The aftermath of a single battle could reverberate through a thousand miles, it was impossible to keep things low-key. As long as there was a battle, it would surely alert those around.

When Zhong Yue and the others arrived at the closest battlefield around them, the battle had long ceased. The winner was smart as well as he had left right away after he won the battle, flashing away like a red light.

Bai Canghai intended to chase after, but Jun Sixie suddenly shook her head, “There is no point in chasing after him, we will just wait here.”

“Wait?” Bai Canghai startled for a second, and immediately understood her meaning.

The battle would not only attract their attention, but the other Qi Practitioners around will also come over. Instead of chasing after the winner, it would be more efficient if they stopped here and waited for the other Qi Practitioners to come.

Right in the next second, a huge patch of shadow covered them as a ten thousand feet tall giant crashed down from the sky like a meteor. It was a Qi Practitioner who was using the power of heaven and earth to enlarge his Avatar. That Qi Practitioner then struck out a palm at them!

“What a marvelous skill!” Jun Sixie’s and the others’ eyes brightened up as they look at the Qi Practitioner’s palm. Totem patterns formed around his fingers and palm in different shapes and sizes; clouds, dragons, snakes, and mountains were only some of the many forms the patterns took!

In that one palm strike was contained over a thousand skills!

“A True Spirit magnate, Brother Bai, I’ll leave him to you.” Zhong Yue pulled Jun Sixie and Qiu Jin’er back to evade the palm strike’s zone while leaving Bai Canghai on the spot.

Bai Canghai instantly hollered, “Brother Zhong, the Bai Zhe Clan are no masters of battles!”

However, Zhong Yue smiled and said, “The Bai Zhe Clan’s【Million God Ice Saint Art】is an incredible art, don’t tell me you did not cultivate it! In addition to your Pure Yin Yuan Shen, you are no weaker than anyone else here!”

Immediately, Bai Canghai’s eyes flashed; the【Million God Ice Saint Art】was Lord Bai’s cultivation technique that Zhong Yue had used as the base to create his own【Mystical Infinite Transformation】, another incredible art that alowed him to morph into any race. However, while the【Mystical Infinite Transformation】granted one the ability to change form, the【Million God Ice Saint Art】was created with only one purpose—to act as a counter to every arts and skills in the world!

The【Million God Ice Saint Art】was said to be the ultimate counter art!

In the Ancestral Star, Bai Canghai’s name may not evoke the same emotions as Zhong Yue’s or Jun Sixie’s, but he was, without doubt, an exceptional cultivator in his own right!

Unfortunately, the superstition surrounding him had overridden any other impression that others had of him!

Bai Canghai yelled, and the Yin God True Spirit emerged behind him, spreading its wings out and rushing for the incoming palm while lashing out skills like a river stream!

As the two clashed together, ice started to form in mid-air, and the Prison Realm Qi Practitioner’s skills were frozen within the ice. The sun shone on the ice and reflected lights out into the surrounding!

  It was truly stunning!

Right after, the Yin God behind Bai Canghai turned into a huge snake and blasted out a wave of black smoke at the Prison Realm Qi Practitioner!

Chapter 616: Prince Shi Yun |

The comet Innate Spirit Body was the Curse Spirit Body. The ancients would worship the comet whenever they curse their enemies, and as time progress, a spirit embodiment of curse was born within the comet.

As the curse was one of the darkest element in the world, the spirit was a Pure Yin spirit.

It was only the Ancestral Star that called it a comet; other places referred to it as the Curse Star!

The Curse Spirit Body was formed from curses, they brought death and disaster with them everywhere.

However, it was rare to come across with a Curse Star Spirit; it was even more rare than the Innate Sun Spirit and Five Elemental Spirit bodies. Thus, there were not many records on what exactly their cultivation technique was, whether it be pertaining to skills or arts.

Even Bai Canghai didn’t know much about his own spirit. However, he was able to glean a thing or two out from the totem patterns of his
Yin God spirit, allowing him to partially unlock its incredible power.

As the serpentine Yin God blasted out black smoke, the Prison Realm expert’s face contorted in pain and his eyes rolled violently back as he started foaming at the mouth.

Zhong Yue saw this scene, and his heart thumped in horror while Jun Sixie and Qiu Jin’er were also frightened to death.

We didn’t know Senior Martial Brother Bai is so vicious, thankfully, he didn’t bring any bad luck to us during our trip here.

However, little did they know that the only reason they were not affected by Bai Canghai’s bad luck was because of the fact that his Yin God Pure Yin Spirit was formed by the help of Zhong Yue’s Pure Yang Qi.

While cultivating his Yin God Pure Yang Spirit, the Pure Yang Qi left in his body was also nurtured into the form of a Yang Dragon, and it now returned to Zhong Yue as part of his power.

In stark contrast to the Yin God, that was the embodiment curses, the Yang God resembled blessings, able to nulify Bai Canghai’s adverse effects.

However, as Bai Canghai grew stronger in the future, it would be a question whether or not the Yang God in Zhong Yue would still be able to suppress Bai Canghai’s Yin God Pure Yin Spirit.

All of a sudden, Zhong Yue’s face changed slighty, and he said, “Another one is coming.”

The earth quaked and cracked above the ground as if there was a fish swimming underground toward them!

  Krogn—

A Prison Realm Qi Practitioner with the body of a fish and torso of a turtle broke out of the ground. He looked at Zhong Yue, and even though they numbered greater than him, he has turned into a demon fish and gnawed down at them!

The demon fish had sharp teeth, and there were demon array formations all the way from his mouth to the internal organs!

Clearly, this Prison Realm Qi Practitioner cultivated himself like a weapon, every body part, even the organs, were forged like weapons. Whoever he swallowed would be struck with the countless demon arrays in his body until they were fully digested.

“Imminent Deity demon Qi Practitioner, Jin’er, you are up!”

Zhong Yue and Jun Sixie both flashed backward and left Qiu Jin’er on the ground. The young lady gave a stern shout, and she flipped her hand. A sapling soon appeared in the middle of her palm, growing into a ten thousand feet tall divine tree in just seconds.

It was at that moment that the demon fish gnawed at the tree. He tried to swallow Qiu Jin’er and the tree together, but the tree was far too large for his size.

The demon fish exerted his strength and gnawed the tree crown away from the tree trunk before proceeding to dive down toward the ground to leave.

However, Qiu Jin’er suddenly swung the tree. As there were still vines that connected the tree crown to the tree trunk, the Prison Realm demon fish was lashed into the sky.

The demon fish struggled in the air while it was hung up by the vines. The Prison Realm demon fish wanted to spurt out the tree crown but the tree crown shot out the Gold Sword Qi and pierced into his throat and hooked him in his mouth.

Qiu Jin’er tapped the ground with her toes, and a floor of sword arrays along with sword tablets rose above the ground for over hundreds of miles.

From afar, it looked like a huge wood basin.

Qiu Jin’er swung the tree like a fishing rod and the Prison Realm demon fish fell into the wood basin. Immediately, the sword arrays and all kinds of Sword Qi drowned the Prison Realm Qi Practitioner!

“Senior martial sister, another one is coming.” Zhong Yue’s face changed and he said while smiling, “This one is strong, an Imminent Deity magnate who is just one step away from deityhood!”

With a change of thought, a zither flew out from Jun Sixie’s Primordial Spirit secret realms, she answered in a smile, “It’s been a long time since I’ve used the zither. I promised that I will hone it to a level no weaker than the Ten Malefic Weapons, yet I nearly couldn’t fulfil my promises. I will not leave you even if you’ve decided to leave me.”

Zhong Yue startled for a second as he thought, I will not leave you even if you’ve decided to leave me? Is she talking to the zither or…

Before the Prison Realm Qi Practitioner even got close, a series of zither sounds crashed into his ears and the earth cracked as though there was a strong gale ravaging across the land.

The Prison Realm Qi Practitioner immediately dashed to the side and evaded the attacks. However, the zither sounds never ceased, and he dashed all across the place to dodge.

But the Prison Realm Qi Practitioner was no weaker than her; he suddenly roared loudly and fought sound with sound. Yet, his plan failed terribly as Jun Sixie’s attack was not just a sonic skill but also contained some Sword Qi hidden within the zither sounds.

Thus, the Prison Realm Qi Practitioner was caught unexpected, and wounds were created all over him by the Sword Qi in just seconds; there weren’t a single part of his body that was unscathed!

“So here you are! Huh? A lady?” The Prison Realm Qi Practitioner glanced around and finally found Jun Sixie sitting in mid-air with the zither on her knees. A flash of killing intent brimmed through his eyes, and he lunged toward her while reaching out for the light wheels on his back.

  Chi—

36 demonic sabers swirled out of his Yuan Shen secret realms and arms grew out from his body, clenching on the demonic sabers as he swung them toward Jun Sixie!

  Peng—

Jun Sixie stretched a total of 50 zither strings up from the zither and abruptly let them go, causing them to break apart and shoot out like a hundred needles.

The sabers and needles clashed together, and the zither strings suddenly flashed back to the zither. Jun Sixie raised the zither up vertically and strummed heavily on the zither, releasing powerful sonic waves that attacked the Prison Realm Qi Practitioner!

The Prison Realm Qi Practitioner stretched his hands out and the 36 demonic sabers formed a prismatic barrier that fended off the sound waves!

The zither sounds grew in intensity and frequency with every second while the saber barrier continued to erode before eventually becoming like a beehive. Clearly, the Prison Realm Qi Practitioners was casting a marvelous saber art that even Zhong Yue praised in his heart.

This Qi Practitioner, his sword art is incredible. Even my defensive saber skills are no match for his!

Just as Zhong Yue was thinking about it, Jun Sixie suddenly pushed the zither out and rammed it through the saber barrier.

  Peng—

The 50 zither strings were detached from one end and lashed down at the Prison Realm Qi Practitioner, lacerating him into 51 pieces altogether!

Zhong Yue’s face hardened while Xin Huo hopped around in his psyche ocean in excitement, “Look, open your eyes and look at that! Didn’t I tell you? Those who wield the sabers are the dumbest of all! Look at how this clown was killed by Little Jun so easily!”

Zhong Yue let out a dry cough and replied, “Xin Huo, my sabers are quite different than his…”

Xin Huo immediately thought of his form-changing sabers and quickly calmed down, he stood still and nodded, “Those sabers of yours are no sabers!”

As they spoke, Qiu Jin’er and Bai Canghai’s battles ended as well. Qiu Jin’er unleashed her Sword Qi to the fullest and killed her opponent with a barrage of sword arrays and tablets.

Her wood basin sword territory was a mincer to those that were trapped in it.

As for Bai Canghai’s battle, it was rather more peculiar as his opponent wasn’t concentrating at all throughout the fight. His eyes were rolling around looking at every place beside in front of him even when he was escaping. This caused him to end up crashing into a mountain to be killed by Bai Canghai.

Finally, Jun Sixie’s power came into view during her battle. Although her opponent was stronger, she was able to end the battle rather quickly.

As for Bai Canghai; although he was the weakest among them all, his near-perfect command of his arts and skills made him one of the mo
st exasperating characters to deal with. He was able to engage in an indefinite battle of attrition where he only blocked and countered attacks while concentrating on the flaws in his opponents’ stance every single time.

Qiu Jin’er had a stronger cultivation base, but was more conservative when it came to battles. She preferred to do things slow and steady and calculated her moves with minimizing risk as a priority.

Zhong Yue pondered in his heart and analyzed the strengths and weaknesses of his companions. Then, he laughed and said, “Let’s continue, there are still plenty of opponents out there.”

In their next battle, Zhong Yue assigned Bai Canghai to battle an expert in sonic arts. This time, however, Bai Canghai’s command of his skills and arts was not of much help as the sonic attacks could easily penetrate through his defense and attack his head directly, wounding him from within.

Qiu Jin’er was assigned to face an opponent specialized in agility. Her opponent had a thousand wings and flashed around like lightning. Qiu Jin’er had no chance of catching him as he attacked her.

As for Jun Sixie, Zhong Yue had selected a demigod as her opponent.

The battles ended as a bittersweet victory for the three of them. They had went all out, used every skill in their arsenal and employed various tactics and strategies. But despite this, they had only managed to barely defeat their opponents after a long time.

“Senior martial sister, Brother Bai, Jin’er, all three of you have your own strengths and also weaknesses. It’d be an easy fight if you meet those that you have a speciifc advantage against. However, you won’t have that kind of luxury every time.” Zhong Yue smiled and said, “Fights and battles are the best way to learn and improve. It’s not cultivation if you always bully those you can easily defeat.”

Jun Sixie, Qiu Jin’er and Bai Canghai nodded.

The three of them sat down and tended to their wounds with the help of divine herbs.
