  Dai Wuji was a formidable foe. Though he was weaker than me, he managed to walk away unscathed from my attacks. He has proven himself far superior than the Bell Master from Prison Realm .

  Zhong Yue praised in his heart for even being weaker than him, Dai Wuji’s masteries in bell were not any weaker than Zhong Yue’s masteries in his skills.

  This was completely out of Zhong Yue’s expectation as Xuan Xue was steadily maintaining the upper hand. Moreover, who could’ve known that Zheng Yan still had something like this hidden up her sleeves which knocked Xuan Xue out of the arena!

  Xuan Xue regained her balance quickly as she suffered no injuries and the surprised Xuan Xue looked into Zheng Yan’s eyes and asked, “Did this Creator-level skill come with the imperfected cultivation technique you’ve obtained?”

Evil God Zhong of the Prison Realm isn’t really that nefarious and evil at all. I was told that the Prison Realm is a place full of pugnacious ruffians, the Qi Practitioners are selected with the
number of competitors they’ve killed. You people cut down your competitor’s head and the more heads you have in hands, the stronger you are. And I heard that Evil God Zhong has the most heads, over two thousand. I was still a little nervous when I saw you, afraid that you’d be some sort of devils with horns. But it seems like the rumors are not true at all.”

  Zhong Yue returned the bow and replied gently, “Rumors are just that, they shouldn’t be treated as gospel.”

  Zheng Yan heaved a breath of relief and smiled, “They even said you beheaded a reincarnated emperor and hung his head on your waist! I believe senior martial brother would never do something so heinous as that!”

  An awkward expression flashed past Zhong Yue’s face and Zheng Yan’s heart skipped a beat, she exclaimed in shock, “Senior martial brother really did that?”

  “No, I’m not marrying you!” Zheng Yan quickly shook, “Not your wife, not your mistress, or your side piece! No coupling, no marriage, no love, no proposal! Nothing!”

  Zhong Yue was dumbstruck, he hadn’t even finished talking and the young lady was making so many assumptions already.

  He waited for Zheng Yan to finish before faking a cough and continuing, “I mean, can we talk? If you can teach me your technique of reversing the prenate state into innate, then I can teach you some things as well, including a complete Creator-level cultivation technique.”

  Oh, she noticed . Zhong Yue shook his head and laughed. When Zheng Yan saw the [Mystic Dao Crusher], she immediately noticed its abstrusity and difficulty in casting it.

  It wasn’t possible at all for him to cast it out in an instant, and so the following question arose in her head — when did he start casting the [Mystic Dao Crusher]?

  Of course it was while Zhong Yue was letting her recover from her depleted arcane energy!

  “Brat! Scum!” Zheng Yan crashed into one of the halls in the Imperial Garden. The impact force embedded her into the wall and rendered her powerless. She took some moments to regain her breath and pulled herself out from the wall.

  She was furious and shouted, “How dare you trick me? If I hadn’t listened to you and taken the time to recover, I might’ve won!”

  Her feet stamped on the quartz floor as she headed toward the plaza to avenge herself. But suddenly, she caught a glimpsed of her [Five Elemental Sealing Stamp] and saw the two holes on it left behind by Zhong Yue’s [Mystic Dao Crusher].

  He pulled back… If he had his skill piercing through the [Five Elemental Sealing Stamp] with its full power, I would’ve been dead already. Fine, fine, I may not be his match after all. Let’s just have mercy on him this once.
