He cast his Yuan Shen and rushed for the incoming arrows with Dong Ah and Xi He following behind him. It was at this moment, an inner core flew out from Zhong Yue’s forehead and expanded its innate inner core force field, stopping the tens of thousand arrows inside the force field.

Zhong Yue muffled a deep groan of pain and blood trickled out from the corner of his mouth as he bolted away. But before Bo Di and the others could heave a breath of relief, the third wave of arrows were launched into the innate inner core force field.

Another deep groan came from Zhong Yue while the force field was seen starting to break apart; then, seeing the next wave of arrows incoming, Zhong Yue sighed, Nothing can be done anymore, seems like I’ll have to leave them behind and leave on my own…

Just before he retract the inner core, the arrows were stopped in the air. Then, an awed Zhong Yue watched as the divine arrows shot backward in an even faster speed back to the warship!

Cries of death resounded the space from the warship, the countless gods were killed by the same arrows they have shot out themselves. The divine arrows even bore out of their mortal body and through the warship while killing their Yuan Shen as well!

“Zhu Shi Celestial Race, what audacity you have there to dare kill the Xian Tian Palace’s disciples.” A frigid voice sounded from the void and violet rays burgeoned in the middle of nowhere. In the center of the violet rays, a man in his prime age walked out and in just one step, he reached to Zhong Yue’s side, looking at the warship on the far end.

On the warship, all of the gods were killed dead, leaving only a pallid Royal Prince Wen Chang and Weapon Ancestor in his hands.

“The supreme senior martial brother of the Xian Tian Palace, Creator Xi Zhiyan, greets Royal Prince Wen Chang.” The Creator bowed, he smiled, “I cannot express how gratified I am for My Royal Highness to look after my junior martial siblings.”

Royal Prince Wen Chang’s eyes thumped. Sounds of objects crashing down the floor could be heard almost endlessly as the dead Zhu Shi gods fall to the ground.

“There is no need for the over-politeness.” Royal Prince Wen Chang said in a hoarse voice.

Whereas Xi Zhiyan was still smiling, “This is not a good place to stay anymore, My Royal Highness, may I please you to return to safety.”

Royal Prince Wen Chang nodded, he turned and left on the longcloth that was rolled out toward the Zhu Shi Celestial Race’s territory.

“What a shame, we can’t kill him.” Xi Zhiyan mumbled as he shook.

“Supreme senior martial brother!” Bo Di and the others bowed.

“It is lucky that you can all survive this long, even your inner cores are shattered.” Xi Zhiyan inspected the experts and shook. Then, he turned to Zhong Yue and clasped his hands together, “Mister Yi.”

Zhong Yue reciprocated the formality, he asked, “Does the supreme senior martial brother know me?”

“I’ve heard King Zi Guang mentioning mister before. Mister Yi, Zhiyan sees it all, I offer my sincerest reverence to your efforts in saving Bo Di and the others.” Xi Zhiyan smiled in reply.

“I see.” Zhong Yue said solemnly, “Bi Yuan is now trapped in the pseudo Imperial Granary, it is a powerful treasure. There are 8 Deity Emperors dealing with him in it…”

“The pseudo Imperial Granary?!” Xi Zhiyan’s face changed dramatically, he shouted, “Shit!”

He swings his sleeves and carried Zhong Yue and the others with his arcane energy. Then, the Creator mustered all of his strength and bolted out in tremendous speed, catching up to Royal Prince Wen Chang in just a few moments.

This scared the Royal Prince, thinking that Xi Zhiyan had returned to kill him, but he soon found his worries unfounded as Xi Zhiyan flew past him, he thought, I am after all, the Heavenly Monarch’s son. He doesn’t dare to touch me at all.

The legwork took more than an hour. When Xi Zhiyan rushed to the edge of the Imperial Granary Sacred Land, he saw a huge Imperial Granary floating in mid-air and revolving incessantly. He heaved a breath of relief and thought, The Imperial Granary’s array formation is still active, sixth junior martial brother is still alive…

Then, the pseudo Imperial Granary shrunk before his eyes and nine Deity Emperors walked out of it. They were laughing as they said, “This petty child Bi Yuan is finally dead! What a knotty prick, he actually survived that long under our beleaguerment. Imperial Emperor Xian Tian’s disciple is really amazing!”

Hearing them, Xi Zhiyan’s body shivered in cold, he stood there dumbly and raised his head up to the sky while tears rolled down his cheeks.

“Sixth brother, I am late… I…” Xi Zhiyan’s face turned pallid like snow and suddenly, he spurted out a mouth of golden blood.

Zhong Yue and the others could only watch on the side with sympathy, not knowing how to comfort him.

When the nine Deity Emperors saw XI Zhiyan, their hearts skipped a beat and before they were just going to escape, they saw a longcloth rolling toward them where Royal Prince Wen Chang was traveling on it.

Royal Prince Wen Chang is here!, The nine Deity Emperors heaved a breath of relief, they exchanged a look and scattered out in tremendous speed.

Xi Zhiyan’s face was white like snow, he abruptly said, “Royal Prince, please wait a moment.”

Royal Prince Wen Chang stopped, he turned with a smile, “Creator Xi Zhiyan, what do you have to say to…”

  Chiang—

A flash of white light filled their vision, from when the sword was pulled out and slashed in a half-moon motion, it was all done in less than a split second.

When Xi Zhiyan returned the divine sword back to the sword sheath, Royal Prince Wen Chang’s head had rolled off of his neck, his face forever frozen with shock.

“My Royal Highness, I have a need to borrow your head. As the imperial emperor’s sixth disciple is dead, a son of the Heavenly Monarch has to die with him.” Xi Zhiyan clawed the head in his hand and said, “Royal Prince Wen Chang, I will now bring your head to the imperial emperor.”

Chapter 797: Calling The Imperial Emperor Martial Brothers |

Bo Di and the others were utterly shocked. They stared with their mouths agape as Xi Zhuyan grabbed Royal Prince Wen Chang’s head by the hairs in his hand.

On the piece of long cloth, Royal Prince Wen Chang’s body was still moving in reflex, reaching to above his neck searching for his own head.

But how would he ever be able to find anything left?

  Pu—

Blood fountained out his neck, tainting the long cloth red.

Then, the headless body swayed and fell to the ground.

Even Zhong Yue was shocked, not for a single moment did he think that the Xian Tian Palace’s supreme senior martial brother would behead the Royal Prince without any hesitation!

Exchanging Bi Yuan’s life with the Royal Prince’s, it sounds like the Xian Tian Palace’s supreme senior martial brother had placed Imperial Emperor Xian Tian on the same level as the Heavenly Monarch!

Although his words were filled with pain and sadness, Xi Zhiyan’s actions were brimmed with a strong sense of ambition and honor of the Xian Tian Palace!

Seems like I don’t even need to do anything to provoke them, it is just a matter of time before the conflict between Heavenly Monarch and Imperial Emperor Xian Tian comes to a head. All I am doing here is to catalyzing it to arrive sooner.

As Zhong Yue thought about it, he was relaxed. He was never a smart and intelligent man, but for the sake of the human race, he had to act as its sole strategist.

To do that, he even twisted his divinatory calculation technique that was initially meant for cultivation into one that could be used for strategy.

And now, the death of Xian Tian Palace’s sixth junior martial brother Bi Yuan and Royal Prince Wen Chang would be the last straw to break the false peace and harmony between the two factions!

The war between Heavenly Monarch and Imperial Emperor Xian Tian was now bound to erupt!

  The upcoming ou
tbreak of war would entangle a huge number of races and factions, and keep them more than busy to take care of any other things else. With that, the human race would be able to enjoy a short reprieve from their oppression, not worrying about the Heavenly Monarch or Xian Tian Palace plotting dark schemes on them.

The greater the turmoil, the safer the human race would be, as well as Zhong Yue’s personal safety.

And Royal Prince Wen Chang’s head in Xi Zhiyan’s hand was the final impetus for war!

“Supreme senior martial brother…” Bo Di and the others said in a trembling voice.

Xi Zhiyan kept the head and turned, he replied, “Let’s return to the Xian Tian Palace!”

When he turned his head, his hairs burst out and sliced through the space heading for the nine escaping Zhu Shi Deity Emperors!

The Deity Emperors gave a stern yell each and cast their skills to fight back. They have even cast out the pseudo Imperial Granary to ward off Xi Zhiyan’s hairs.

It was then, skills burst out from the hairs and thousands of them curled around the Imperial Granary, suppressing its power within before it could even be unleashed.

Xi Zhiyan brought Zhong Yue and the others and left without even checking. His hairs were still extending like like a jet black waterfall, waving and flowing continuously.

After some time, the hairs suddenly moved back from the space and Zhong Yue and the others could see the blood dripping down from the jet black hairs.

In just a short while, the Zhu Shi Celestial Race’s nine Deity Emperors were dead!

Then, Xi He quickly said, “Supreme senior martial brother, the Weapon Ancestor is still not dead yet…”

“That’s because I want him to live.” Xi Zhiyan’s face was placid like a pool of still water, he said, “If he is also dead, no one will live to tell the tale. If so, how will the rest of the universe know of the supremacy of our Xian Tian Palace? I allowed him to be alive so he can spread the word, let them know that the Xian Tian Palace is never to be messed with! If the Royal Prince killed the Xian Tian Palace’s disciple, then even he will have to pay his life for it!”

The crowd frowned, they didn’t agree much to his decision.

Just how a shocking news was it for one to kill the Heavenly Monarch’s son? If the universe knows it, they would be in deep trouble as the Heavenly Monarch would never tolerate the death of his son and the humiliation that came with it!

That said, was it really a better choice to let Weapon Ancestor off?

Xi Zhiyan explained in a solemn voice, “Even if we don’t, the Heavenly Monarch will still find out that the Xian Tian Palace was responsible for his son’s death. Rather than just sit by idly and let that happen, it is better that we be the ones to announce it to the universe on our own terms, as a message to those that dark designs against us. After all, it’s just a matter of time before the Xian Tian Palace and the Heavenly Monarch’s faction to become broiled in war. All that is happening now is just moving the timeline forward.”

He frowned and sighed, “I don’t know why it is happening so fast, but it is bound to happen regardless. Junior martial siblings, be more cautious in the future.”

He raised his head up and said, “It may seem peaceful right now, but the universe is teetering at the precipice of chaos. I guess soon enough, we will be seeing blood fall from the sky like rain…”

Hearing that, Bo Di and the others shuddered in cold.

Another few days flashed by until they returned to the Xian Tian Palace. Zhong Yue didn’t go, instead, he clasped his hands together and said, “Please excuse me, I need to return to the Human Sovereign Palace and report this to the Yan Sovereign, so things can be in place when needed.”

Xi Zhiyan nodded, “I too, will report everything to the imperial emperor. Mister Yi, it is highly likely His Highness will be looking for you soon. So may I plead Mister Yi not to stray too far from the Human Sovereign Palace.”

Zhong Yue’s heart turned solemn but he maintained his placid expression, then he left for the Human Sovereign Palace.

Although the Human Sovereign Palace and Xian Tian Palace were quite far apart, it was still just considered a short distance when compared to the vast space in the Zi Wei Galaxy.

Furthermore, in order to closely look after the human race, the Human Sovereign Palace was literally at the center of almost every sacred land. As such, with the many races looking after the humans, those in high power could all sleep at ease.

When Zhong Yue returned to the Human Sovereign Palace and told Yan Sovereign Jiang Yiqi everything, the old man’s face turned drastically and laughed aloud. “This way, us humans can live in peace already!”

“But only temporarily.” Zhong Yue said while smiling, “A great danger still lies ahead of us. No matter which faction wins, it is still not a good thing for the human race. Furthermore, Xi Zhiyan said the imperial emperor might look for me, I am afraid that I can no longer provide any guidance by your side.”

Jiang Yiqi was shocked, but he knew that he couldn’t stop Zhong Yue from leaving or the latter would die. Moreover, Zhong Yue’s ideas had helped him claim the throne and sow discord between the Heavenly Monarch and Imperial Emperor Xian Tian. Zhong Yue had already become a center lead to the Yan Sovereign; thus, his departure would sadden Jiang Yiqi a lot.

“Oh, I almost forgot. Someone is looking for you.” Jiang Yiqi suddenly remembered, he said, “She has been waiting for a long time already, I will have her to you now!”

Someone here for me? Zhong Yue was puzzled as he thought. He was new here in the Zi Wei Galaxy, in addition to that he has changed an identity, who would actually know who he was?

Moments later, a young lady walked into the Human Sovereign Palace, she saw Zhong Yue and asked curiously, “Mister Yi?”

Zhong Yue looked at the young lady and found her a stranger he has never met. However, the bloodline in her body gave him a very familiar feel.

All of a sudden, Xin Huo looked at her curiously and said, “A Huaxu lady? She is a pureblood Huaxu!”

Huaxu? The Huaxu Celestial Race? , Zhong Yue nearly shouted out in shock. The young lady was from the Huaxu Clan, one of the eight sovereign races and also one of Fuxi Clan’s ancestral race!

“Brat Yue, having relations with her will greatly boost the chance of giving birth to a pureblood Fuxi!” Xin Huo shouted happily.

Whereas Zhong Yue ignored him and said politely, “I am. Senior martial sister, what do you have for me?”

The young lady was cute in looking and donned in simple and light green colored clothes. She smiled, “My grand ancestor sent me here to bring something for you.”

Grand Ancestor? Goddess Shen Hou? What is she giving me? Zhong Yue was puzzled while at the same time, understood how the young lady was able to find him. He had the ancestral blood of Goddess Shen Hou herself with him, of course Goddess Shen Hou would be able to locate him.

The young lady carefully took out an innate divine core and smiled, “The Goddess said she promised you a complete Dao Imparting Innate Core. Now that the danger in it has been cleared, it is time to be returned to you.”

Zhong Yue was shocked and exuberant, he remembered the Dao Imparting Innate Core he found in the Ancient Land of God Graves.

He had plundered the Dao Imparting Innate Core from Fa Bisheng, it was an innate core that contained the innate Qi, innate totem patterns, and the cultivation heritage of an ancient innate god!

However, Goddess Shen Hou saw through the dangers in the Dao Imparting Innate Core and told him there was a dying innate god’s fragment soul and memory hiding in it, waiting to devour and possess anyone who cultivated through it so that the innate god could eventually revive himself.

Then, Goddess Shen Hou took the Dao Imparting Innate Core away and said she would return it to him. Zhong Yue had almost forgotten about it as there were no news about it after that anymore.

However, as Goddess Shen Hou sent her people here to deliver the Dao Imparting Innate Core, it seem
ed like she had taken care of it already!

“Goddess want me to tell you this as well.” The Huaxu lady thought and chortled, “The original owner of the Dao Imparting Innate Core was an Innate Sun God who went by the name of Li Yang. He is now reincarnated and changed a whole new identity due to the presence of a strong rival, so he wouldn’t be using his old name anymore.”

Zhong Yue’s heart thumped heavily, he thanked, “I understand the Goddess’ meaning. Oh yes, how should I address you, senior martial sister?”

The Huaxu lady chuckled, “Why are you calling me senior martial sister? Just call me Junior Martial Sister Hua Qianwen will do.”

“Thank you, Junior Martial Sister Qianwen.” Zhong Yue thanked again and just when he was going to ask her about any news regarding Qiu Jin’er and Jun Sixie, Hua Qianwen pointed her finger on her forehead and extracted her memory out, then destroying it away.

Zhong Yue was dumbfounded, he looked at the young lady as she puts up a puzzled face and mumbled, “How did I end up here? Strange. I must’ve gotten lost again…”

The young lady destroyed her memory fragment under Goddess Shen Hou’s order. Right after, the young lady walked out of the Human Sovereign Palace semi-consciously and left in a flash of bright green light.

When Zhong Yue walked out of the Human Sovereign Palace, Hua Wenqian was already nowhere to be seen.

Well, I was just planning to ask her about Junior Martial Sister Jin’er and Senior Martial Sister Sixie. But this little girl left so quickly!

Zhong Yue was between laughter and tears, he looked at the Dao Imparting Innate Core in his hand and his heart calmed down immediately, Now, I won’t have to make for the run anymore. If Imperial Emperor Xian Tian wants to meet me, then let’s meet and have him address me as a senior martial brother!

Chapter 798: From The Dark |

When Hua Qianwen returned to the Zi Wei Imperial Star and back to the Huaxu Clan’s sacred land, she was still just as confused as she was before, not knowing where had she been nor what she was doing for the past half a year. When Goddess Shen Hou saw her state, she immediately knew that the mission was accomplished.
