  The Imperial Emperors and race leaders frowned, a hoarse voice said, “The only reason he can sit in the throne now is because of us. Without us helping him, would he triumph over the other Imperial Monarchs? And among us all, Senior Martial Brother Xian Tian has given the most help to him. Now, his he trying to dump us behind and dominate all himself? I will confront him!”

  Imperial Emperor Xian Tian shook, “Xi Zhiyan killed the Royal Prince, this is ultimately my fault. After all, he is the Heavenly Monarch, he is to be prioritized above all.   “He is the one that betrays first, how is it not alright to do it?”

  Imperial Emperor Xian Tian frowned, “I am still an Imperial Emperor, not the Imperial Monarch. He is still a cultivation level higher than me. If I claim the throne, most will disagree.”

  The six Imperial Emperors turned silent. Imperial Emperor Xian Tian was true, it was difficult for one who wasn’t an Imperial Monarch to become the Heavenly Monarch. Even if Imperial Emperor Xian Tian could overthrow the Heavenly Monarch, he wouldn’t be able to secure the throne for long.

His death will delay the upcoming war for a little longer, allowing me to better prepare myself for it. Xi Zhiyan, I ask you, are you willing to die for me?”

  Xi Zhiyan suddenly raised, he pulled out his divine sword and swiped it across his neck, beheading himself. Then, Xi Zhiyan’s headless body threw the divine sword down to the ground and presented his head up with his hands. He bowed and his head said, “I am willing.”

  As he finished, his soul flew out from his head.

  “You will still be my supreme disciple.” Imperial Emperor Xian Tian teared, he swung his sleeve and sent Xi Zhiyan’s soul to be reincarnated in the Heavens. He ordered, “Zi Guang, keep his head and body, send it to the Heaven Court and hand it to the Heavenly Monarch. Tell him, two of my beloved disciples died for this, I am too saddened I cannot head over to ask for his forgiveness myself.”

  King Zi Guang nodded, he said, “Then, what about Royal Prince Wen Chang’s head…”

  “Keep it.” Imperial Emperor Xian Tian said placidly, “He killed my beloved disciple, how can I let him off so easily? Send it to the toilet and let everyone release their waste on him.”

He said while smiling, “Senior Martial Brother Yi said that the innate gods are strong and powerful from birth but in spite of that, cultivation is harder for us than anyone else. I wholeheartedly agree to it. The universe has always thought we were blessed by nature, we stand strong and powerful and we enjoy limitless lifespan. But how would they ever understand our pain? Because of us being the innate gods, we are strong, but also flawed.”

  Zhong Yue nodded.

  Although a prenate living being, Zhong Yue could see the hardships and struggles in the innate gods. Truth was, he had noticed the flaws in the innate gods a long time ago. The innate gods were the sentience that was born from the worships of the prenate living beings. But with that said, the innate gods were greatly reliant on worship.

  Every worshiper had their own different will and wishes, this made the worships cluttered with far too many convoluting thoughts in them. Thus, it made the innate gods harder to cultivate with the power of worships flowing into them along with myriad thoughts of its worshippers. Moreover, in terms of cultivating the frame of mind, heart, and will, they might just be worse than the prenate living beings.

  Not only that, but the power of worship would restrict their growth as well. Such as Li Yang who was born from the sun.   “Why should I?” Imperial Emperor Xian Tian laughed, “I’ve longed for the throne and you have done exactly what I wanted. In fact, even without you provoking our relationship, he and I, the two of us are still at odds, we are just putting all this fake peace for the bigger picture.   Zhong Yue nodded, he mumbled softly, “The Fuxi…”

  Imperial Emperor Xian Tian’s face changed, he raised his hand and stopped Zhong Yue from continuing. He said with a solemn face, “The Heavenly Monarch is a stepping stone in my conquest, I will surpass him eventually! But the humans, although harmless now, are the biggest threat the universe has ever seen! They must be controlled no matter what. Any failure in this regard will be more fatal than any mistake we can ever make!”

  Zhong Yue nodded, he too replied in a serious tone, “Senior Martial Brother Xian Tian, rest assured, when I return to the Creator level, I will kill Yan Sovereign and take over his throne. Then, the humans will be fully within your grasp. By then, they will no longer pose any threat in your empire!”

  “He is my teacher.” Imperial Emperor Xian Tian smiled, “Rest assured. For me to fight for the throne, I will surely have my enough power with me. Unsealing 50% of the Fuxi bloodline in the humans will be no troubles at all. I will see my teacher and ask for his approval.
