  Just as Mu Suge was puzzled by his action, Fu Li jumped up and from his Yuan Shen secret realms swarmed out endless golden clouds made of insect races. In the blink of an eye, they were surrounded by an ocean made of golden clouds and they saw nothing else but insect gods.

  “It’s really Yanshi Xi! She’s really annoying!”

  Zhong Yue had goosebumps all over; the Heaven Court’s Yanshi Xi was a very unpredictable one. She was known for her puppeteering art and right now, she obviously took the entire ancient universe as her farm where she bred her puppets and insects!

  Zhong Yue flew right into Mu Suge’s light wheels before Mu Suge and Fu Li fled away quickly.

  “How did she locate us?” shouted Mu Suge.

  “Hell if I know!”

  Fu Li shouted, “When I turn back to the fortress, I ran into her moments after! She’s really strong when I was still far away from here, I immediately noticed the uneasiness caused by the insect gods in my Yuan Shen secret realms and I ran back to you guys right away!”

  Suddenly, they heard giggles and the crimson cloud changed directions, charging straight towards them. The giggles felt like they were billions of insects that bit right into their bones.

  “Interesting, Mister Yi, Third Prince Mu. The ancient universe is so huge and just as I thought I wouldn’t be able to find you guys again, I run into you coincidentally. Perhaps, this is what they call fate?”

  From the crimson cloud came Yanshi Xi’s giggles, “What comforts me the most is that you found this big boy here, who bred so many insect gods in his Yuan Shen secret realms. You are really digging your own graves!”

  A groan was heard from Fu Li suddenly and as he shivered, golden insect races started devouring his Yuan Shen secret realms.

  Weng—

  After biting through the secret realms, holes started appearing on Fu Li’s body before the golden insects swarmed out from these holes like smoke.

  Fu Li shouted and without a sign, he sneezed, sneezing out the insects away from his nose; these insects were his pets but now, they were under Yanshi Xi’s manipulation and turned into a threat!

  However, as a peak Creator, though these insects could open up a hole in his body, his life wouldn’t be threatened. But then again, with her strange and eerie techniques and arts, Yanshi Xi tried to control Fu Li by commanding the insects to burrow into his brain.

  With the insects all sneezed out right now, Fu Li was no longer in danger.

  Insect god’s body was entirely made of divine gold, on their surface carved countless totem carvings and when they formed a massive bell, they were as strong as a refined divine weapon!

  As the bell rang, immense power headed straight towards Fu Li and Mu Suge, which had Fu Li turned around, roared and Mu Suge slammed even harder onto his war drum. Suddenly, Mu Suge’s war drum shattered and he was sent flying away by the powerful impact. He groaned under the pain and in his Yuan Shen secret realms,
Zhong Yue was not anywhere better.

  Fu Li who had an unreasonably strong body managed to entirely resist the impact but he was also knocked backward.

  “What a strong body!”

  On the bell made of countless insect races, a lady with long tentacles on her forehead, lower body of a combination of centipede and spider giggled, “If I made you into a puppet, the puppet power will be extremely powerful!”

  Another bell rang sounded out and this time, before Mu Suge regained his balance, he was knocked back, sent flying even further away.

  Zhong Yue, who witnessed everything, was in shock and he asked, “Why are their techniques so strange and unpredictable?”

  “Because they are designed by the demon races to counter the celestial races!”

  Mu Suge visualized even more war drums, slammed strongly onto the drums in an attempt to resist the impacts before he shouted in frustration, “Brother Fu Li, you really shouldn’t have kept these insects as pets! Breeding them is just like forging a divine weapon for a mother god! When the insect race betrays their master, countless great demon gods that bred insects were all killed by their very own pets when the mother gods took control over the insects!”

  Fu Li did not reply as he continued shouting but in the end, they were still suppressed and blood started coming out from their mouths after taking on too many impacts.

  Suddenly, Yanshi Xi turned around, unleashed another crimson cloud, which was entirely made of countless celestial and demon corpses. The cloud charged towards the two and she giggled again, “The demons thought they have control over us, little did they know they were all digging their own graces. Dear misters, please continue your talks after death!”

  Seeing this, Mu Suge shouted, “Be careful, these puppets are unkillable!”

  Fu Li was also a very strong being but before such a situation, he was forced backward and though he was extremely angry and wanted to do something, he was still entirely suppressed.

  Among the corpses were even some Creator level ones that moved without a sign; these corpses could hurt them and while the other non-Creator levels one could not deal any harm, they could still hinder Fu Li and Mu Suge’s movements.

  Suddenly, the bell transformed into a terrifyingly sharp divine blade. It stabbed right towards Fu Li, who swung his club against this divine blade made of billions and trillions of insect gods. As the club and the divine blade collided, Fu Li immediately got injured and he was sent flying away with blood gushing out his mouth.

  “Prime Foreworld Secular World!”

  Without stopping, the blade swept towards Mu Suge, who roared angrily and shouted, “Black Yellow Secular World!”

  Heaven and earth appeared around him, the sky was black and the earth was yellow while the mountains and oceans were brimming in power. He had used the Creator’s Secular Worlds in an attempt to hold off the incoming attacks.

  His Creator level techniques were sliced apart and even after trying his best to dodge the attack, he noticed that he was locked onto by the divine blade that flew towards him with unstoppable power. Fortunately, Fu Li managed to save him by stopping the divine blade with his huge bone club.

  The divine blade dispersed and a crimson banner appeared, wrapping around the two and the endless insect gods that turned into the banner flew past them and cut them with their sharp limbs!

  Mu Suge shouted, cast his own Creator’s Secular World, merged the two Secular Worlds together and resisted Yanshi Xi. With that, they finally managed to hold off Yanshi Xi for the time being but they were still struggling.”

  To be able to become the Zi Wei Heaven Court’s Heavenly King, Yanshi Xi is really powerful! She alone is stronger than a hundred Creators!

  “The insect race first came to life from the end of Fire Order Era and the beginning of the Earth Order Era, a chaotic era where celestials and demons fought each other with the intent to annihilate the other. The demon races asked for it ever since they created the insect race. Back then, the strongest demon monarch kept a mother queen insect monarch as a pet and cultivated her into a monarch level weapon.

  Xin Huo continued, “Eventually, the mother queen insect monarch began to develope her own sentience. A soul grew in her, causing her to devour the demon monarch, creating the insect race. Iin just the blink of an eye, she conqu
ered all the insect races in this universe and started an onslaught against the demon races. Originally, the celestial races were happy and watched. But soon, the insect races started attacking the celestial races, forcing them to work with the demon races against their new common enemy.”

  Zhong Yue frowned, “Then how are we supposed to deal with Yanshi Xi?”

  Xin Huo smiled, “Countess lives were reaped by these insect gods back then. The insect races are abnormally powerful and reproduce at a prolific rate. With the demon and celestial monarchs under his lead, they reached the insect lair and killed the mother queen insect monarch. Without a brain, the insect races were forced back right away. After their ultimate defeat, they no longer had the power to stand their ground against the celestial and demon races.”

  “Which means if I want to destroy the weapons, I’d have to first kill Yanshi Xi?”
