Rise of Humanity

The Heavenly River was where a new universe was attempted to be opened; it was where Yin Fanxuan salvaged 24 micro-universes and crafted them into 24 Secular Worlds on her jade flute. Whereas the star river beneath Heaven Suppressing Palace was also left behind by an attempt to open the Impossible World, it would definitely contain something no weaker than the Heavenly River.

However, after numerous attempts, the Creators found nothing and instead, ended up with countless injuries.

  “My lord! We’ve found something!”

One day, when Zhong Yue and YIn Fanxuan were exchanging ideas on cultivation, ruckus emerged on the outside. They both immediately headed out from the King’s palace, only to find countless gods setting aside their tasks and looked towards the East Gate of Azure Dragon.

From the gate, a massive Hua Yu Celestial Race’s Creator was climbing towards the city walls from the Heavenly River with all his strength; despite his massive body, strong claws, he was still struggling to drag the item he salvaged from the river to the ground.

His front claws mowed deep into the ground in front of him and the chains that were around his upper body stretched all the way into the river, tied onto some unknown items.

Whatever the chains were tied to was just too heavy; instead of dragging it out from the river, the Hua Yu Creator was being dragged back into the river.

Upon seeing this, a Creator who was on the side hurled his chains towards Hua Yu Creator’s chains, entangling them together and aiding Hua Yu Creator in dragging the item out.

But in the end, the weight of this unknown item proved to be out of their capabilities.

  “Creators, follow me!”

Zhong Yue shouted before he entered the Star Gates and warped towards the Azure Dragon Gate while behind him were light flashes as Fu Li, Mu Suge and the other Creators followed quickly, all grabbing onto the chains and pulling them.

Zhong Yue, however, did not act as he was still a Heavenly Deity, whose strength was still far behind these Creators.

Even more Creators arrived, and they all grabbed onto the chains, dragging them with force. Ripples started forming before turning into rogue waves, splashing everywhere and forming waves and waves of alluring star clouds.

The massive waves struck the city walls, trembling the walls and the scene was not for the faint-hearted; ever since Heaven Suppressing Grand Stronghold was built, it had never been breached and never trembled even once. But now, it was trembling under the powerful impact coming from the waves! Just what was that thing in the river!

“Heed my call, all Deity Emperors, step forth and help them!”

Zhong Yue shouted and the many Deity Emperors charged towards the chains and finally, with their combined strength, the thing in the river finally loosen up and was slowly dragged out from the river. As more chains emerged from the water, the waves turned even stronger and left a considerable amount of damage on the city walls.

Outside of Azure Dragon Gate were even more starry clouds that ascended into the air, enlarged and turned into bright stars and suns.

As time passed, the many Creators and Deity Emperors slowly lost their resistance to the waves but they prevailed; the chains emerged from the water gradually and after a moment, the chains broke without a sign and a gigantic object jumped out from the river, crushing the Azure Dragon Gate!

Everyone halted their movements and looked towards the Azure Dragon Gate only to see water flowing down from the massive object and turning into suns that flew into the air as soon as they touched the ground.

After quite some time, once everything had settled down, the massive object revealed itself, albeit only half.

It was an ancient and dilapidated warship that remained submerged in the water for countless years. Chains locked onto the bow and most of it was rusted. There was even a large hole on its body.

And this damaged ship was the item dragged out after combining the power of 60 Creators and a few hundred Deity Emperors.

  “Dragon bones, dragon bones!”

Suddenly, a Creator shouted in surprise as he pointed towards the hole in the ship, where a part of the warship’s keel was revealed.

In order to build a massive warship, dragon bone’s were needed as it was bridge that supported the entire ship, connecting the ship’s front and back together. Without them, most of the ship would be easily crushed by the bigger tides.

The ‘dragon bone’s were the keels, usually made of divine woods and placed in a way exactly like the dragon’s ribs.

This time, as Zhong Yue raided the sacred grounds around him, he got his hands onto an endless number of warships. Among these ships, the ‘dragon bones’ were in fact, made of real dragon bones!

The ‘dragon bone’ of this ancient massive warship was also made of real dragon bones, from the True Dragons themselves!

Through the hole, they could see a massive ‘dragon bone’ that supported the entire warship!

Apart from that, they could even sense innate Qi flowing out from the hole!

“An innate god’s dragon bones? Could this be the bones of an innate Leizhe god?” shouted a Creator with a trembling voice.

Zhong Yue frowned; the Leizhe Ancient God was the first dragon god ever born into this world but he was still alive, hence, the bones here were definitely not his. Besides, with the Leizhe Ancient God being the ancestor of both human and Fuxi Celestial Race, what came out from this Zheng Creator’s mouth was especially grating on Zhong Yue’s ears.

  “Prehistoric divine item!”

The old god rushed towards the scene and said trembling, “This is definitely something that can be traced all the way back to the prehistoric dark era!”

The prehistoric era this old god spoke was a lost era long before the Fire Order Era. Real civilization only began when Great Sui created the Fire Order Era. He unified the universe. He spread civilization to every corner within the universe, creating a calendar called Great Mountain Fu Wood Solar Calendar and a common language. All of these were all built on the Fusang Tree within the ancient universe’s Jin Wu Clan.

Before the Fire Order Era, the universe was mired in a dark age that lacked any semblance of society. This resulted in an era whose history was not recorded — the prehistoric era.

And this ship was probably something from the prehistoric era.

  “It’s a monarch ship!”

Fu Qizhi murmured, “It definitely is….”

  “Monarch ship?”

A thought appeared in Zhong Yue’s mind, Something left behind by that existence that developed this place and the Heaven Suppressing Palace?

  “No, it’s not!”

Mu Suge shook and rebutted, “It does not have the monarch aura in it. A real monarch level item has the monarch aura that can be easily detected.”

“Third Prince Mu, if this isn’t a monarch ship, why do we need so many people to drag it out from the river still?” asked a puzzled Fu Li.

Mu Suge on the other hand, was also confused and he replied, “This I have no idea of at all. Monarch level items all possessed a mighty aura that suppressesed even the Heavens. Monarchs are beings that rule the entire universe. Their weapons also have their very own domineering aura! In certain cases, monarch level items would even give birth to their very own spirit and once strong enough, these weapons would give off a feeling sentience. This ship here, however, may be strong but it’s not at that level.”

Zhong Yue nodded silently upon hearing this. What Mu Suge said was very reasonable; Zhong Yue had seen monarch level items with his own eyes, such as Shao Hao Bell, the Fumin Sword, and the Hao Yi Zither. All of these items possessed a uniquely powerful aura. The Shao Hao Bell even gave birth to its own spirit that came in the form of a chubby boy and Hao Yi Zither’s spirit was a little girl with braids.

Unlike the Shao Hao Bell and Hao Yi Zither, the Fu Min Sword was shattered, preventing it from taking that final stage of evolution. In addition to the Fuxi Celestial Race’s annihilation, leaving no one to worship it, it bec
ame impossible for the Fumin Sword to give birth to its own spirit.

If this ship was a monarch level ship, then there would be monarch level presence or spirit in it, however, from the looks of it, it possessed neither of these.

However, to require so many Creators and Deity Emperors to work together just to drag it out from the water, it made no sense if this ship was not monarch level.

“Brat Yue, there is no such thing as monarch in the prehistoric era.”

Then came Xin Huo’s voice suddenly, “The monarch level is set up after Great Sui created civilization, it was a level set after the non-innate beings started cultivating. The prehistoric era, in other words, was the era of innate gods. I once heard Great Sui said that their levels were completely foreign to the non-innate bings.”

Zhong Yue’s heart moved and he murmured, “You mean….”

“That existence that created this ship is not a Heavenly Monarch but he possessed the power of one.”

Xin Huo continued, “The totem patterns carved onto this ship may contain some secrets tracing all the way back to the prehistoric era!”

Hearing this, Zhong Yue immediately shouted, “This is an Imperial Emperor level divine warship, good enough to be my vessel! Men, move this ship to my palace!”

  “Smart!”

Xin Huo praised, “If you announced it as monarch level item, you will attract unwanted attention. Even Imperial Emperor Xian Tian will ask for the ship.”

With all their strength, the Creators and Overlords dragged the ship into the gates and they were completely worn before they reached halfway to the palace.

Seeing this, Zhong Yue had no other emotions apart from shock, What kind of ship is this? And that innate dragon bone, could it be related to Lei Zhe Ancient God?

Chapter 893: Prehistoric Great Discovery |

After spending a few days, the many Creators and Deity Emperors finally managed to drag the ship all the way to the King’s palace before they all scattered back to Azure Dragon Gate. The castle walls around Azure Dragon Gate were crushed by this ship when it was salvaged, hence, they had to repair the damage with the star sand in the river.

Apart from that, the Deity Emperors, Creators and even Imperial Emperors had to shower their blood onto the compound, carving their totem patterns onto the walls, creating totem talismans and formations before linking the Dao totem patterns with those from the other walls in order to have the newly built walls be strong enough to withstand the star waves.

If not, they wouldn’t even be able to withstand the impact of the waves, let alone an invasion.

Everyone threw themselves to their own tasks again while Zhong Yue and Yin Fanxuan boarded the ancient warship. Zhong Yue placed his palm onto this ship, an ancient artifact traced all the way back to the prehistoric era, one that had been around for a very long time. As he touched the ship, all he felt was cold metal but he failed to identify the metal used to build this ship.

He also had no clue as to what kind of power blew a hole in this ship, but there was one thing that he was certain of, and it was that the power that opened up a hole on this ship was something extraordinary!

All over the ship’s surface were all sorts of alluring totem patterns, which were completely different from everything he knew, making them incredibly mysterious.

Zhong Yue tried to decipher the totem patterns but he did not gain anything as the Dao techniques and arts used onto this ship were completely counter to everything that the Sui Sovereign created, denying the possibility of understanding the prehistoric techniques and arts through the current totem pattern system!

  “A foreign system!”

Zhong Yue widened his eyes in shock and he looked at these patterns incredulously.

This was something he had never come across before!

The cultivation system he was familiar with was one created by the Sui Sovereign, the totem cultivation system was made by Great Sui and everything was set after Great Sui created language, words, and calendar!

The divine words themselves were all totem patterns. By learning these divine words, one would be able to visualize and cultivate; the divine language contained the wonders of heaven and earth and the calendar, Great Mountain Fu Wood Solar Calendar, was there to record how the universe and Dao functioned.

With that trinity, the Sui Sovereign was able to unite the wild universe, where everyone adopted the same completed cultivation system from that point on!

After that, everything created, the techniques and arts, including Fuxi’s creation on the Six Paths, Hou Tu’s creation of the Reincarnations, they were all just new elements that were added to this system.

Within this system, techniques and arts were all derived from totem patterns, and so was the Dao.

Whatever Zhong Yue had learned and created, were also new additions to this system.

Things might have been improving and changing at every moment but they were still within the system.

Even after the Sui Sovereign’s time, the innate gods were also cultivating with this system continued to implement their own insights into it, evolving it to its current state.

And that was why Great Sui had achieved something no other Heavenly Monarchs could, making him unrivaled as a Heavenly Monarch since the title’s inception.

However, everything on this wrecked ship didn’t seem to belong under the system that Great Sui created; it was a completely foreign cultivation system that was eliminated, a method of cultivation that died out over time. It was probably eliminated for being too hard to cultivate while competing with the current cultivation system; to the prenate beings, from the levels of Qi Practitioners all the way to the monarch level; they were all traceable and they could advance into the next level step by step.

And as for the natural-born innate gods, they too, could cultivate this system, granting them a chance to catch a glimpse of the Imperial Emperor stage, or even the level of Dao God that was above all non-innate beings!

“But this does not mean that the current cultivation system is stronger than the one in the prehistoric era. The prehistoric cultivation system definitely shines bright in its way except that it was not as competitive as the one right now.”

Zhong Yue thought and said, “The only problem here now is how to comprehend the wonders and secrets hidden in these patterns….”

Yin Fanxuan was also clueless; though she was an Innate Saint Spirit Body with high affinity to the Daos, she had been learning under the totem cultivation system all her life. It was difficult for her to think beyond its confines.

After flying around the ship, they remembered the various patterns on the ship and boarded the ship again, only to be met with even more strange-looking patterns and zero gain.

As compared to totem patterns, these patterns were much simpler; their alignments were unique but less complicated, which was very different from totem patterns where even the simplest techniques contained more than 10 types of totem patterns; complicated techniques in the monarch level had billions!

The patterns on the ship, on the other hand, were very simple but it was because of its wonder and strange simplicity that gave them the most trouble to understand.

Zhong Yue then activated his divine third eye, examining these patterns, only to notice that no other and detailed information on these patterns.

But he did not stop there. From his eyes, the sun and moon emerged and again, he continued deciphering the wonders in these patterns only to be greeted by failure in his attempts once again.

Zhong Yue then took out the innate divine saber that had returned to Imperial Emperor level; it could now decipher almost everything, even the techniques, arts, body and Yuan Shen of an Imperial Emperor.

He turned his saber around and reflected the patterns’ alignments but strangely, nothing appeared on the saber’s body.

Without any clue, even if Zhong Yue possessed absurdly powerful calculation capability, he couldn’t do anything at all.

  Strange, reall
y strange… Maybe, I can ask Senior Martial Brother Feng Xiaozhong….

His eyes flickered, With his intelligence, perhaps he could unveil the secrets in these patterns.

“Darling, this ship is not in its full form!”

Yin Fanxuan suddenly noticed something and she quickly called for Zhong Yue, pointed to some patterns on the ship’s body, “Take a look at these!”

Zhong Yue immediately walked forward and examined the patterns that were linked in a shape of a wing and he murmured, “This ship has wings!”

“And it’s not just a pair!”

The now shocked Zhong Yue looked around and countless wing-shaped patterns appeared before his eyes!

There were about a thousand pairs of wing-shaped patterns and they were carved onto the ship like paddles!

Without even thinking, Zhong Yue could already imagine how the ship looked with its wings all spread out when it was activated!

  What a strange maneuvering way….

Zhong Yue tried channeled his energy into the ship right away, but the ship just wouldn’t absorb his energy!

Yin Fanxuan gave it a try as well but ended up with the same result.

Zhong Yue thought for a moment and he activated his Innate Yi Dao, printing it onto one of the wing-shaped patterns. Then, the ship seemed to turn alive and as the wing flapped, it sliced the dimension into countless pieces!

When it stretched out, the wing revealed its few thousand mile-wide wingspans, and with another flap, they had already flown past a sacred mountain in Heaven Suppressing Grand Stronghold.

And right before their eyes, the mountain was shattered into dust by the vibration created by the ship’s momentum!

The sacred mountains around here were constantly prayed at for god knows how many years, bestowed with immense sturdiness but before this wing, the mountain did not even last for a second!

And this ancient ship was slanting under the immense power delivered by the wing; this ship that required at least 60 Creators and hundreds of gods to be moved was being lifted by the wing!

Zhong Yue retracted his Innate Yi Dao and the slanting ship immediately fell back to its original position. With a few flaps, the wing stretched back and turned back into patterns.
