  With an ear-deafening noise, the palace evaporated and a massive light sphere started expanding towards the outside, swallowing numerous palaces and leaving only ruins behind!

  And that was when Demon Monarch Yang Hou commented happily, “The Heaven Court is really unlucky, explosions after explosions…. If I’m not wrong, this is the third explosion already?”

  He replied sarcastically and without letting Imperial Emperor Xian Tian say a word, he turned towards Celestial Monarch Jin Wu and Demon Monarch Yang Hou and said, “They said that the celestial and demon races in the ancient universe had irreconcilable enmity. But seeing how the both of you are conversing so happily, it seems like that those were just false rumors.”

  Celestial Monarch Jin Wu and Demon Monarch Yang Hou both smiled while Demon Monarch Yang Hou replied, “In the ancient universe, we will be fighting each other to the deaths. But in Zi Wei, we are on the same side. Your Majesty, I don’t think you know that I’ve beaten this old brat here no fewer than a hundred times but each time, he just wouldn’t die!”

  The Left Prime Minister, Gui Youmin and Right Prime Minister, King Shen Wuwei arrived at the scene along with Old Man Xuan and Qi quickly. Upon their arrival, the army divisions in the Heaven Court set up a formation and looked at everyone with immense killing intent.

  Far away, Goddess Queen Monarch ascended into the skies and arrived at the scene quickly with elegance while four more monarch level existences revealed themselves above the Six Imperial Palace.

  Old Man Xuan and Qi added, “We stopped him from successfully forging this item and we believe that he tried to use it by borrowing strength from the gods with him, which caused the item to explode.”

  Imperial Emperor Xian Tian approached him and he was lost of words after seeing Zhong Yue making through the explosion that mowed down countless compounds despite located at the centre of explosion!

  His vision then locked onto the metal plate as it seemed like it was this metal plate that helped Zhong Yue survived the explosion.

  After taking another look on the metal plate, Imperial Emperor Xian Tian staggered as the metal plate looked like the bottom of the Tian Pan and not a defensive item as he thought.

  Or it might have been Zhong Yue that picked it up after the item exploded into pieces.

  But how did he survive?

  Imperial Emperor Xian Tian was intrigued as he examined Zhong Yue. At the centre of the explosion, not even Creators like Fu Li could survive!

  But Zhong Yue survived, which meant that there was something else that he used to survive the blast!

  He then kept his confusion deep in his heart and started helping Zhong Yue.

  With a trembling body, Zhong Yue said, “The centre of the explosion was the safest place compared to the other places. There were not much shockwaves around there and I am merely looking messed up on my appearance. That’s all.”

  Without showing a sign at all, the confusion in Imperial Emperor Xian Tian remained but he laughed, “It must have been scary still. Did you managed to get what you wanted?”

  “Not quite, but I do have a general idea of it already.”

  Zhong Yue spat out the clogged blood in his chest and said, “I call it the [Innate Eight Trigrams], an art that could explain the wonders in Daos. Through everyone’s strength, I’ve managed to form a scaffold but I never expected that my item would explode.”

  Imperial Emperor Xian Tian then replied, “Everything is fine as long as you are alive. By the way, do you mind easing us our curiosity? The art that needed our help to calculate is definitely going to be a very outstanding one!’

  His suggestion was turned down by Zhong Yue, “My lord, you will witness it during the ceremony.”

  “Then I will be waiting for you to shine during the ceremony.”

  At the same time, blood kept flowing out from Zhong Yue’s nose, ears, and mouth. After attending it briefly, a voice rumbled in his mind, “Can you win against Zhu Xie now?”

  Zhong Yue thought for a second and replied Celestial Monarch Jin Wu, “I’d say I stand only 10% chance to win against him.”

  Zhong Yue, however, did not head over to observe the battle but he returned to North Heaven Gate and cultivated patiently.
